Christopher was just going about his every day routine. Now that it was panto season, and almost Christmas, he was at his prime, filling hearts with Christmas spirit and filling the seats in the theatre, as well as filling the bowls of the poor that the theatre's charity served. He looked about, filling his heart swell as people hurried about, filled with Christmas cheer. A wave of his hand turned frowns to smiles as fresh snow began to fall.
He felt a shiver run up his spine, an unusual occurrence for a ghost. He just grinned and turned around, hands on his hips. "'ello, Jack."

Topher studied Jack's face for a moment, still smiling, only for the smile to slowly drop. He raised a hand to cup Jack's cheek and raised the other to gently tuck a strand of hair behind the man's ear. "You don't believe me, do you?" His frown deepened, turning sad. "I wish you would. Because I mean it."

Christopher sniled and nodded with a light laugh. "As you wish, friend." He gestures around him. His home was modest, but still comfortable and very much... him. He tried to funnel most of his earnings back into the charity that the theatre funded, but still took the opportunity to enjoy nice things where he could. His smile grew as the request was made, and with the door safely shut behind them, he twirled a finger, making the wassail appear out of thin air in a mug with an apple slice and a stick of cinnamon in it, just for dramatics. He noticed the change in tint of Jack's face and continued to smile but didn't mention it, not wanting to embarrass him. He led his friend to sit down, though, sitting next to him before gesturing around them again and then turning to untie his boots so he could put on a pair of slippers. "What do you think? And please, make yourself comfortable..." He offered up another pair of slippers that had seemingly come from nowhere.

"Like... like what?" Topher began, only to blush deeper and nod as Jack removed himself to sit beside him instead of on his lap. He nodded and cleared his throat, doing what he could to have a neutral expression. "I'm... I'm sorry. That wasn't my intention. Your feelings are normal... I just wish I could help."

Christopher watched his friend with a touch of concern but gave him his space. He laughed and gave a shrug. "Perhaps not from the cheer alone, but from overindulging on the temptations that the holiday brings about, perhaps." He leaned over slightly, but was careful not to encroach too much on his friend as he tried to get him to look up at him. "You bring joy, too, you know. The cold is harsh, perhaps, but in spite of that, the cold brings good things, too... Beautiful things, happy things... Snow for snowball fights and snowmen. Frost on the windows to sparkle in the sunlight. Sleigh rides and sledding... Christmas isn't the same without you, Jack." He leaned back into his corner of the couch, giving a small smile.

Christopher smiled, giving a small sigh of relief as Jack smiled back at him. "Well, this is my favorite kind of Christmas, here. That's why I stay here so often. It isn't Christmas here without snow... without you." His smile broadened as he rolled his eyes. "Things are going well enough Past and Future are always lurking about, just as I am. We are fast friends, the three of us. We couldn't do what we do without working together."

"It is indeed!" Christopher loved being around Jack, but simultaneously was unaware of the fact that the feeling was mutual. He beamed as his friend laughed, leaning against him slightly as they walked before going back to looking ahead. "I'm just around, enjoying the sights, the cheer, and advetising for the show." He smiled at the pet name. "What of you, love?"

Christopher smiled as Jack took the drinking, waiting for a moment before summoning a drink of his own and taking a drink. "That's part of the joy of Christmas, dear friend!" He laughed brightly, lookjng around at his apartment with a proud smile, hs grin softening as he watched his friend adjust to a more relaxed position. Something in his eyes looked desperate, almost wanting, before shifting back to a brighter smile and leaning against Jack.

"Oh, please!" Christopher snorted immediately, beginning to thumb circles on Jack's sides as he held him close on his lap. He leaned in until his forehead rested against him, giving a hum and a soft smile. "I always notice when a friend as dear as you isn't around. You are missed in your absence." He drew back to look up at Jack with that same soft smile.

Christopher smiled, humming a laugh at Jack's enjoyment of the drink as he casually rested a hand on his leg as they leaned together. He stared down at his hand for a moment before looking up, surprised, caught off guard by having been noticed, but even more surprised by the term of endearment. He gulped and blushed even brighter than his usual rosiness. "I..." He started and choked, before clearing his throat. "I just..." It wasn't like him to lack confidence. He looked away for a moment. "It can wait, I think... until you've finished your drink..." A nervous laugh. "I think..." He looked up again. "I just..." He stared at his lips before tearing his eyes away.

Christopher smiled as they made eye contact, grin turning brighter as Jack pressed his hand to his face. He shivered and hummed. "You're so very right. Christmas wouldn't be the same without you." He dropped his hand, wrapping his arms around the other's waist, glad that he was relax. He himself gave a hummed sigh, letting his shoulders slump a bit. "Oh, of course! I qould never tear you from an invitation to be around those like you."

Christopher hummed, but turned to laughing against the other's lips as Jack crawled up and straddled his lap. He didn't notice the frost, but gave a shiver, reaching up with one hand to ever so gently cup his friend's cheek as he smiled, pulling away for a moment to make sweet eye contact with him before giving him another quick kiss. "I've missed you, Jack."

Christopher rolled his eyes, but smiled good naturedly and gave a brief, nervous laugh. "I'm normally not like this, am I? This is s-so unlike me." He gave another laugh, blushing darker as he watched his friend hurry with his drink. He held out a hand in warning. "Don't burn yourself, now... Tis'nt worth that." He inclined his head in a nod with a small smile. "No, I'm fine. I'm fine. It's just..." He hesitated, drawing a shaky breath as he looked at his friend uncertainly. "When you call me such things... do you mean them? Truly?" He stared at Jack's lips for a moment before looking quickly up to make solemn eye contact with him.

Christopher nodded and listened, his mouth slightly agape, reaching a hand out to lay on Jack's leg as he blushed. He gulped, nodded again, a wave of relief washing over him as his smile returned. "You're darling to me, too," he said softly, laughing as his friend placed a hand on his arm. He gently leaned their foreheads together for a moment before raising a hand to cup Jack's cheek. "I want to try something," he e said quietly, words meant only for Jack's ears, before gently leaning forward and pressing their lips together with a shaky hum.

Christopher smirked. "I've told you that you can call me 'Topher, if you like," he said, hands still on his hips, Cockney accent strong as ever. "I should hope you'd expect me to look good," he teased, his pose turning a bit more playfully proud before doffing his tall top hat to a passing lady and turning back. He looked up at the snow with a bright smile before turning back to Jack with a grin. "It's been well, thank you. Tha kiddos are my favorites. We always get on well." He quirked a brow, giving a friendly, curious smile as he crossed his arms over his chest. "And what of you? How's it been for you, Jack?"
