Hi mutuals I need to make this clear. And I’m sure your actions are not done maliciously. But a fun fact about me ms. add ‘l-cereta’ fire is that I’m not a fan of soup. In fact when I have an opportunity to drink anything besides soup I do that. Not sure why though I imagine it’s a texture thing. Last Song: You're Bleeding Everywhere by Jean Dawson. Listened to Glimmer of God while playing a 2 week ttrpg and this song became reeeaally relevant to my character heehee! It's also just my favorite off that album, and I wish Jean Dawson performed it when I saw him live, but I guess I'll just have to go to another concert someday

Last Book Read: A used copy of the Bowhunter's Encyclopedia ^^!! I actually have been thinking about getting into crossbows for a little bit

Favourite Color: I like all colors but my personal pallette is like, pastel pink, cyan, lavender, and black

Last Movie: Watched Max Max Fury Road while brown boy blasted last night. Crazy movie to watch while high. There were so many bald people

Last show: Wonderful Precure because sometimes you just need a really cute, sugary sweet magical anime. I'm a Madoka guy, I'll be an Utena guy one day, but I also gotta be a Precure guy time to time

Mmmm. 17776 might be one of the few utopian pieces of fiction I can actually see as beautiful and a world I wouldn’t mind living in. I think it’s because tragedy exists within it. And it’s mundane tragedy and also tragedy that is physically incomprehensible to us, who WILL die one day, but very much emotionally comprehensible because it stretches out tragedy’s scope and bounds and who can be considered tragic (the sunken city of New York, where everyone survived but the city is still gone. The lightbulb which stayed on for hundreds of years. The concept of being in love and having to be away from each other for 100 years, even though you are quite literally immortal.) like taffy . And still joy exists, and joy- mundane, pleasant, playful joy- is the force pushing continued existence, pushing the sentience of space probes, pushing the desire for us to pointlessly, happily, play

was walking around downtown for a job interview and saw a young couple holding hands and then when exiting the job interview I saw a strikingly similar looking middle-aged/older couple walking around holding hands... intriguing

Did you know that science discovered a new organ in 2016? Like a new organ within the HUMAN BODY. I mean this happens occasionally but the precedent is like, a lil gland we didn’t notice before or a newly-defined muscle group. not a GIANT MEMBRANE THAT STRETCHES ACROSS OUR ENTIRE BODY.

See scientists had calculated the Average Liquid in the human body, then the amount of liquid accounted for in cells and veins n everything else we know holds water, and still found that TWENTY PERCENT of our water mass was still unaccounted for. So they vaguely went “uhh it’s just extracellular fluid. let’s call it the interstitium” even though they didn’t really know Where or What that was.

Fast forward a few years (decades!!) and some guys are trying to find a new, more delicate way to analyse live tissue samples. I forget exactly what method they came up with, but they were looking at samples under a microscope and were like “Uh, what’s all this Stuff in the tissue? It kinda looks like a mucus membrane?” and they slowly realized they had found a new structure in the human body!!

See the interstitium is a membrane that runs through our body diffusing lymph. It’s so incredibly delicate that normal tissue preparation methods involving cutting and freeze-drying completely destroy it. so we just STRAIGHT UP DIDNT KNOW IT EXISTED. IT RUNS THROUGH OUR ENTIRE BODY AND IS LIKE. THE MAIN CIRCULATORY STRUCTURE FOR OUR LYMPHATIC SYSTEM AND WE DIDN’T KNOW IT WAS THERE UNTIL 2016!!! UNTIL RANDOM RESEARCHERS JUST FOUND THIS PHANTOM ORGAN. WHAT!!!!!

Even though the discovery is only a few years old it’s already fueling a lot of important research. By taking fluid samples from the interstitium scientists think they can test for leukemia months before other symptoms manifest. It’s also showing promising breakthroughs in research for dementia and other degenerative brain diseases.

But it’s so funny to read articles about it because they’re all just like “A NEW ORGAN WE FOUND A NEW HUMAN ORGAN”
