hello 👁👁 i am a big kzgr fan and i was wondering if you could do a fic where kazuha and kokomi are best friends. like they gossip about the stupidest and funniest things. and gorou just being confused like "why is her excellency and my boyfriend giggling at me" when kazuha was gossiping about how he did something really embarrassing like an hour before. just pennies and thoughts <3

Of course!! I'm sorry this took so long, 2022 started off with a bang, and not necessarily a good way! In any case, I hope you enjoy this even though it's so short!

Gorou’s ears twitched as the wind carried the sound of soft laughter to him. He could hear Her Excellency (“Kokomi,” he could hear her scolding him already) speaking with Kazuha over some matter, though it didn’t seem too urgent if the smiles on their faces were anything to go by.

As busy as he was directing the troops, the general couldn’t help but wonder what they were laughing at. Had something happened earlier? That had to be it, with the way that Kazuha’s eyes gleamed and his face was flushed when Gorou stole another glance.

“General?” Gorou’s face flushed as he realized he’d become distracted from the task at hand, and he turned back to the soldier he’d been talking to. “Is everything alright?”

“Yes, of course!” he exclaimed, giving himself a mental pat on the back for managing not to stutter before he cleared his throat. “Carry on with your duties, and report back to me if you have any problems.”

“Yes, sir!” the soldier said, giving Gorou a salute before rushing off.

Now that he was free, Gorou turned to observe his boyfriend and Her Excellency, noting with interest that their heads were bowed close together now. Kokomi had her hand up, blocking her mouth from view as she spoke, her eyes glittering with mirth.

Kazuha looked just as amused, his red eyes bright as his face split into the prettiest grin Gorou had ever seen.

Curiosity won the general over and, after making sure that no one else needed his immediate attention. “What are you guys talking about?” he asked as he drew near, startling the two out of their conversation.

Kazuha and Kokomi shared a glance between them before their smiles turned the slightest bit mischievous. “Oh, it’s nothing,” the divine priestess said, eyes flicking between the wandering ronin and the general. “I was just filling Kazuha in on what he missed while he was in Liyue.”

“And it seems I missed quite a bit.” Oh. Gorou didn’t like the sound of that, not with the way Kazuha seemed to be fighting back his laughter. “Like the way your tail would begin wagging as soon as someone so much as alluded to me in a conversation.”

Gorou let out a choked noise, his cheeks blazing red as he cast Kokomi a scandalized look. “Your Excellency, did you really think it necessary to tell him that?!” he exclaimed.

He quieted down almost immediately as soon as Kazuha’s hand came in contact with his ear, scratching at the base of it as Gorou’s tail began to wag. “It’s alright, dove,” the wandering ronin spoke calmly, and the general melted into his touch. “I thought it was adorable.”

omg bestie hiii thanks for the ask I had a lot of fun answering it 😼😼

its a kazugorou au because I'm mentally ill and I love them

- after a traumatic event where his best friend died kazuha moves to a new town to try and get a fresh start

- he finds a cafe called komore teahouse and becomes a frequent customer there its quiet and they serve nice tea, its where he meets and befriends thoma, ayaka and aether/lumine

- and life's getting better a bit, he's slowly healing

- thoma offers a job at the teahouse which kazuha accepts, he's also been writing poetry a lot more and is hoping to get some published, things are getting better!

- on his way to work one day he runs into gorou who's with taroumaru outside the teahouse, they talk for a bit before kazuha has to go to work and gorou leaves to do whatever it is he does

- gorou visits more over the next few weeks to see taroumaru again and he and kazuha become friends and start spending more time together outside of the teahouse

- it gets to like autumn time and they go on walks in the park and there's maple leaves and stuff

-gorou introduces kazuha to his best friend kokomi who invites him to her book club with xingqiu, lisa and fischl

-everything is so much better and kazuha is feeling happy again and yet a part of him feels so guilty for being happy because tomo is still dead

- in the weeks leading up to the anniversary of tomos death kazuha becomes a lot more distant and even quieter than usual, his friends are really worried but he keeps insisting he's fine

-he shows up to work but that's about it

-when he misses their book club meeting kokomi gets really worried, he *always* comes and so she and gorou go to check up on him only to find he's not home

-he had taken the train to the place he used to live in order to visit tomos grave

-his phone keeps ringing but he's too upset to answer

- he sits by tomos grave and tells him about his life since moving to the new town and all the people he's met

-he wishes tomo could meet them too

- when he gets back its late, but he finds gorou and kokomi waiting for him at the station and they talk and give him hugs and let him know they're there for him

-gorou walks with kazuha back to his apartment and they talk more and then they kiss (to set the scene it is a dark and rainy winter night and they are illuminated by the glow of a street lamp)

- kazuha is then like 'oh shit' and panics and runs leaving a very confused and slightly hurt gorou standing outside

-kazuha is scared he's using gorou as a replacement for tomo (he's not) and thinks gorou deserves better than that

- gorou is upset and now thinks kazuha doesn't like him

- they don't talk for a few days then kazuha comes over to gorou and says 'I'm sorry, what happened the other day was a mistake, you deserve better' etc etc and gorou is standing here like 'wtf I actually liked that "mistake" and also I like you.' and kazuha is like ???? and then they kiss again ig and talk some more and it's not all good but it's getting better and they love eachother

this got more and more incoherent as it got to the end but anyways 🤗 this is a fun au I might add more

trying to think of a ship you haven't been sent. um. Um. kazuha & gorou or ayato & diluc (idk ship names im not invested enough jsjsjdh)

so valid, blue is kzgr and red it ayato/diluc (?) this bingo is missing the fundamental "they are my adopted children" and "i don't care that much about it but it would be hysterical" (which i wouldve needed respectively for the first and the second ship)
