Hey Tia!! Do you have any modern au headcanons about Kazuha or any other characters?

omg bestie hiii thanks for the ask I had a lot of fun answering it 😼😼

its a kazugorou au because I'm mentally ill and I love them

- after a traumatic event where his best friend died kazuha moves to a new town to try and get a fresh start

- he finds a cafe called komore teahouse and becomes a frequent customer there its quiet and they serve nice tea, its where he meets and befriends thoma, ayaka and aether/lumine

- and life's getting better a bit, he's slowly healing

- thoma offers a job at the teahouse which kazuha accepts, he's also been writing poetry a lot more and is hoping to get some published, things are getting better!

- on his way to work one day he runs into gorou who's with taroumaru outside the teahouse, they talk for a bit before kazuha has to go to work and gorou leaves to do whatever it is he does

- gorou visits more over the next few weeks to see taroumaru again and he and kazuha become friends and start spending more time together outside of the teahouse

- it gets to like autumn time and they go on walks in the park and there's maple leaves and stuff

-gorou introduces kazuha to his best friend kokomi who invites him to her book club with xingqiu, lisa and fischl

-everything is so much better and kazuha is feeling happy again and yet a part of him feels so guilty for being happy because tomo is still dead

- in the weeks leading up to the anniversary of tomos death kazuha becomes a lot more distant and even quieter than usual, his friends are really worried but he keeps insisting he's fine

-he shows up to work but that's about it

-when he misses their book club meeting kokomi gets really worried, he *always* comes and so she and gorou go to check up on him only to find he's not home

-he had taken the train to the place he used to live in order to visit tomos grave

-his phone keeps ringing but he's too upset to answer

- he sits by tomos grave and tells him about his life since moving to the new town and all the people he's met

-he wishes tomo could meet them too

- when he gets back its late, but he finds gorou and kokomi waiting for him at the station and they talk and give him hugs and let him know they're there for him

-gorou walks with kazuha back to his apartment and they talk more and then they kiss (to set the scene it is a dark and rainy winter night and they are illuminated by the glow of a street lamp)

- kazuha is then like 'oh shit' and panics and runs leaving a very confused and slightly hurt gorou standing outside

-kazuha is scared he's using gorou as a replacement for tomo (he's not) and thinks gorou deserves better than that

- gorou is upset and now thinks kazuha doesn't like him

- they don't talk for a few days then kazuha comes over to gorou and says 'I'm sorry, what happened the other day was a mistake, you deserve better' etc etc and gorou is standing here like 'wtf I actually liked that "mistake" and also I like you.' and kazuha is like ???? and then they kiss again ig and talk some more and it's not all good but it's getting better and they love eachother

this got more and more incoherent as it got to the end but anyways 🤗 this is a fun au I might add more
