Yiyeon Kwon, escultura coreana conhecida globalmente havia se mudado para Grecia nos anos oitenta, era comumente associada a ideologia hippie pela sua filosofia de vida baseada em amor e liberdade, além das obras despojadas e até mesmo obscenas que criava; era muito querida por todos e sempre estava disposta a ajudar quem precisasse. Um pouco antes das férias de verão, vários turistas chegaram na ilha, dizem que Yiyeon se apaixonou perdidamente por um coreano, há rumores que ele era arquiteto ou velejador que havia ganhado as olimpíadas. Apesar das informações se perderem ao longo dos anos, é de conhecimento geral que ela havia sido abandonada antes de trazer Eleni ao mundo em Janeiro de 1990.

Eleni desde pequena viveu uma vida tranquila e sem pressão, era uma pessoa que se alegrava por muito pouco, só de estar ao redor das belas paisagens de onde morava era o suficiente para sentir-se grata. Sempre teve uma relação forte com a mãe, entendia perfeitamente dos esforços que a mulher havia feito para criá-la, contudo, havia um buraco em sua vida que nunca fora preenchido. O passar dos anos acalentou esse sentimento pela pintura e com o apoio materno, encontrou a melhor formação em artes visuais no berço das artes: Itália. Foi na Itália que se aprofundou nas mais variadas formas de pintura, aprendeu de tudo um pouco e começou a aplicar em sua rotina, entregando uma coleção impecável ainda no segundo ano de formação, atraindo atenção do público pelo trabalho e claro, pelo sobrenome conhecido.

O percurso da vida seguiu em esplêndido conforme o reconhecimento dela aumentava, a finalização da faculdade desabrochou vários sonhos e planos dos quais nunca havia tido antes, era uma nova mulher e queria desvincular dos trilhos caminhados pela sua mãe, queria ir mais longe. E parecia que a sorte estava a seu favor, ela conseguiu criar coleções que arrancavam suspiros, exposições que lotavam e também tinha um olho incrível para reconhecer novos talentos, ela usou da sua posição privilegiada para ajudar artistas que dificilmente teriam a mesma oportunidade que ela teve; completamente em anônimo e sem segundas intenções. Após alcançar tantas magnitudes, ela decidiu que era o momento de retornar para casa, tirar um tempo sabático, se reconectar com sua mãe e com a ilha.

Infelizmente, ela teve pouco tempo para aproveitar esse tempo de descanso porque uma doença acometeu a pessoa que ela mais amava nesse mundo. O câncer espalhou tão rápido, transformou sua mãe em outra pessoa e por mais pesado que fosse, ela agradeceu aos céus quando sua mãe finalmente descansou sem sentir mais dores. Navegando as memórias da mãe durante o luto, Eleni encontrou uma caixa vermelha escondida com cartas, objetos e fotos de sua mãe com dois homens diferentes. A esperança floresceu no seu peito com a possibilidade de um daqueles ser seu pai, no verso das fotos havia um hangul mal-letrado com o nome de ambos e assim, iniciou uma pequena investigação.

Com o pouco de informações adquiridas em duas semanas, descobriu que ambos moravam em Seul, desenvolvendo um plano minucioso que colocou em prática no impulso. Em menos de um mês, estava em um país novo com seu coreano quebrado, abrindo uma galeria de artes - algo que nunca havia imaginado fazer - e se envolvendo na comunidade local, enquanto por debaixo dos panos procurava a peça que sempre faltou em sua vida e que agora parecia pesar mais ainda sem a presença de sua mãe.

I hate doing this posts cause they seem so performative but oh well. Kyungri’s mv for blue moon was ableist. 

She uses a wheelchair for a weird aesthetic purpose for half of the video and then she gets up and gets on her high heels (which seems like a weird metaphor for empowerment or freedom, i don’t even know what bullshit they were trying there.) 

I am not a wheelchair user so I won’t go in detail, but using disability as an aesthetic isn’t good cause you’re just making our attempts to normalize our bodies and experiences even harder. Plus it seemed like a metaphor for being stuck or not being able to do something, which is even more ableist. 

This idea that disability is a prison or that a wheelchair takes away freedom is so wrong and ableist. A wheelchair gives you freedom. society’s ableism might be a prision but not being disabled. 

I’m really disappointed that kyungri would use disability like that. It’s not the first time that i've seen an idol use wheelchairs for aesthetics, metaphors or some sort of bullshit emotional detonator. It’s time for abled people to stop looking at disabled people as tragic. Thanks.

A Coreia do Sul ainda é tida como a gigante do desenvolvimento em todo o mundo. Exportadora de uma série de tecnologias inovadoras, de músicas que não desprendem facilmente da cabeça de quem ouve e de uma série de outras coisas consideradas algo entre o incrível e o “exótico”, ainda é uma nação marcada por paradoxos, principalmente relacionados às tradições. E foi nessa nação que Moon Kyungri nasceu, no outono de 1996.

Não se sabe muito sobre seu passado, a não ser que foi abandonada na porta de um orfanato com poucos dias de vida. Conhecido também como “exportador de bebês”, o país ainda vê na adoção doméstica um tabu. Uma mãe solteira não é bem vista, o que leva boa parte das mulheres a deixarem suas crianças na porta de orfanatos ou de lares que possam acolher os bebês. Por outro lado, ser uma criança cujas veias não carregam o mesmo sangue dos pais e que quebra a linhagem de uma família, também não é visto com bons olhos na sociedade sul coreana. Apesar disso, sempre há aqueles que se rebelam contra o que é comum, como foi o caso dos Moon.

O casal já tentava ter filhos há algum tempo, mas todas as tentativas foram falhas. Pois bem, por que não adotar? Não parecia um absurdo aos olhos deles. Desde o início, já sabiam que seriam vistos com certa represália por parte das pessoas, sobretudo as pessoas mais velhas, que se mantinham firmes em seus pensamentos tradicionais. Mas aquilo não importava, porque bastava o amor e a melhor criação que dariam para seu futuro filho. Ou, naquele caso, filha.

Kyungri foi adotada aos quatro anos de idade, mas seu processo de adaptação com a família foi tranquilo. Como se fosse difícil, ela poderia pensar em um milhão de pessoas no mundo e nenhuma seria tão boa quanto a mãe ou o pai. Ele, um professor de direito renomado, sofreu na pele os questionamentos quanto a acolher em seu lar uma criança que não era “dele” realmente, um absurdo na visão de tantas pessoas que conviviam consigo. Mas foi com ele que Kyungri aprendeu a ser resiliente sobre as críticas que viriam e inflexível em suas decisões, jamais poderia abaixar a cabeça para alguém. E mãe não diferia tanto em personalidade, sempre exigente com o próprio trabalho, passou essa característica para a filha, mas também a ensinou a ser gentil com todas as pessoas, independente de quem elas fossem. E a jovem carregou tudo aquilo por toda a vida.

Evidentemente, a infância foi marcada por questões relacionadas à adoção e marcas foram deixadas na criança que não entendia o motivo de tanto desprezo direcionado à ela. Tudo aquilo formaria a mulher que ela se tornaria no futuro e que esperava ser muito melhor do que as pessoas com quem precisava lidar.

Influenciada pela mãe, bailarina, optou por estudar dança e atuação quando saiu do colegial, encontrando seus refúgios na música. A princípio, Kyungri se imaginou atuando em um palco, já que o teatro parecia a única opção possível. Apesar disso, durante a faculdade, entre disciplinas em outros cursos e departamentos, conheceu a composição musical e notou que não era apenas muito boa, como sentia um imenso prazer em criar suas próximas canções. Os próximos passos não eram difíceis: treinar incansavelmente e tentar audições nas maiores empresas do país. Apesar de ser naturalmente uma ótima dançarina, Kyungri precisou de treinos constantes para poder encontrar seus talentos no canto. E quando conseguiu, não pensou duas vezes em mergulhar em toda e qualquer audição que encontrasse, todas as empresas possíveis, mas com foco especial na Glowing Records, reconhecida por ser uma empresa focada em solistas e, segundo os comentários que se ouvia, um lugar seguro e confortável para se trabalhar.

Bem sucedida na audição, Kyungri soube aproveitar bem a liberdade conferida pela empresa. Treinou incansavelmente enquanto compunha as próprias músicas e teve sua chance de debutar como solista em 2017. Why Don’t You Know, single de estréia, teve ótima repercussão, mas sua fama veio realmente dois anos depois, com o lançamento do single Gotta Go. Em decorrência do aumento da popularidade, suas participações em programas de variedade se tornaram mais frequentes e não era incomum tocarem em assuntos pessoais até chegarem no tópico da adoção. Quase sempre era um inconveniente, principalmente quando Kyungri se mostrava inflexível ao dar suas opiniões, o que poderia causar certa polêmica a depender do apresentador ou da emissora. Mas nada daquilo seria um problema, ao menos enquanto ela pudesse ter o direito de se expressar.

kyungri was doing her best to keep things together. work was bad, so bad that’s why she was home so early. a customer had been annoyed with her and how ‘slow’ her service was. he was a regular and always wanted her to be his waitress, he tipped well so she couldn’t say no.

the guy was very clearly a heavy drug user and was blasted tonight, thus being even more obnoxious.  kyungri was trying hard to tolerate him and his fits of anger, but it all changed when something wasn’t right with his food. he slammed his plate on the floor thus breaking it before hitting her in his fit of rage. kyungri was quick to scramble into hiding and once things had de-escalated was sent home.

she didn’t not want to tell ren, but she was scared of how upset he would be, so she tried to play it off like it wasn’t a big deal. her breathing hitches as he moves her hair tears watering in her eyes as she looks to him, shes trembling now.

his anger was understandable, and it was almost refreshing to have someone care so much they’re this angry for her. but her whole body was in panic mode and right now she just needed him to hold her. 

“d-don’t!” she chokes out as tears start falling . “kill..no killing..ple-please no killing.” she puts her hands on her head whimpering as she rocks back and forth a bit. “r-ren..i-- please..” he stuttering getting the best of her. she can tell he’s in that place that he’s going to blackout and maybe it’s selfish but she can’t put him back together in this very moment if he does, “i..i need  you r-right now!” she manages to yell out a little. “please..ri-right here..with me..” she begs. // @goldhhearts​

Przeglądając masterlist zauważyłam że jedna postać jest tam wpisana jako Park Kyungri a wchodząc w user pokazuje się że ta osoba zmieniła postac na Kihyuna
