       Trainee PARK KYUNGA shares with us her morning skincare routine.

chaewon loves personality questionnaires ... and hates her own naivety for thinking that that’s all this would be. after the week they’d had, and knowing the party was coming up later, chaewon really thought that maybe they would give it a rest. she and kyunga don’t know each other well, at all, but she’d spoken to her a little as they filled out their questionnaires beside each other. 

the cream canon came as a nasty shock, perhaps the nastiest shock so far throughout all of the pranks, and chaewon isn’t proud of the cry she let out as she was hit in the face. maybe she sobbed a little. just maybe ... how embarrassing. she wonders how the rest of the trainees took it? who was after her anyways? she runs to the bathroom as soon as she’s let go, where she ties back her long hair and tidies up herself as best she can with paper towels.

chaewon comes back from the bathroom armed with a roll of paper towels to help whoever was next, and she sees kyunga leave the cream canon room. of course, how could she forget? chaewon runs over to her and holds out the paper. “here, kyunga, are you okay? did any get in your eyes?”

It was his first-ever commercial and while he was extremely excited, he was also anxious. The perfume collection had five different products based on the major perfume categories. They shot a different commercial for each scent and were likely going to cut them all together for the final product. Yonghwa and his female model partner were doing the floral-scented perfume. He was playing a schoolboy, which, considering he was college age, fit pretty well. 

Their scene featured him looking for a book in the school library, only to discover a beautiful bottle of perfume sitting on one of the shelves. With curiosity, the schoolboy picked up the perfume and gave it a sniff. Its enchanting scent then pulled him into a garden full of flowers. His model partner, in a flowy dress, would peek out from behind the rose bush, her smile warm and inviting before she turned to flee. He, of course, was tasked to chase. 

Simple, right? Yeah, that short commercial actually took a lot of effort to shoot. They did the library scene already and Yonghwa was in the garden, preparing for the second part. The director reminded him where he needed to look and the angle of the lighting. He was nodding along diligently until a gasp was heard from the other side. His model partner for the floral scene had collapsed to the ground and multiple staff members rushed towards her. With a concerned frown, he tried to peek over their heads to see how she was doing, to no avail.

“I hope she is okay,” he said to the girl standing next to him. She was also a model hired for this perfume commercial, only she was doing a different scent (citrus, he was pretty sure, because of all the orange trees in her set) with another guy. The gasp must have summoned her from her shoot. “She didn’t look well this morning. I think...she might have skipped breakfast.” Yonghwa looked down, his voice soft. He didn’t say it but he was fairly certain his model partner didn’t just skip one meal but instead, many. People in their industry worked hard, sometimes to the point of pushing their bodies to the breaking point. 

“Kyunga, right? My name is Yonghwa.” He offered his hand to shake.
