It's 2024, and Valentine's Day will be here before you know it! Here are the prompts and dates for the Elricest event celebrating Ed and Al's love!

You can choose any of the three prompts for each day - or you can create for all three! Also, your creation may transcend categories. Any comment, really, but the more detailed. Tell me what you liked best. Tell me your favorite scene, or how you perceive the characters’ relationships to be. Tell me what you think will happen next, or ask me what I was thinking when I wrote a certain part. I have begun some of my closest online relationships in the comment section of my/their fics. So honestly, start a conversation! I love to talk about my work!

☁️ ⇢ what made you choose your username?

On all platforms I use some variation of the username kylermalloy or Kyler, which is the name of a Nancy Drew PC game character I played when I was twelve. It was a cool name, and at one time I thought I would name my future, hypothetical child Kyler. Then I stole the name for my online persona and decided I didn’t want any kids, so it all worked out!

📚 ⇢ what's the last thing you wrote down in your notes app?

Uhh maybe TMI but I record the date of my period starting every month, so I wrote down “July 29” this morning 😂

Keyleth First impression Baby girl. Must protect at all cost.

Impression now Power woman. Protects everyone else at all cost.

Favorite moment Whenever Keyleth has this awkward nerdy interest, like Vax's wings.

Idea for a story Keyleth, Vex and Pike go on a spa day. They talk about love and life. Just the girls bonding would be great.

Unpopular opinion Keyleth is not perfect? Is that an unpopular opinion? I feel like because Keyleth (and Marisha) were so unfairly criticized in the past, it is now almost impossible to have any form of critique. I do feel Keyleth's faults make her much more interesting as a character than if she were perfect.

Favorite relationship Keyleth and Vax, with Keyleth and Percy close second. I love the supporting bond she has with Vax regardless of romantic intent, and her friendship with Percy is very wholesome because they are so different.

Favorite headcanon Keyleth likes to turn into different animals when she feels anxious because their forms make her relax and experience the world in a different way, which is sometimes easier to handle.

last movie: I'm just going to copy Kyler's section since we watched together and it's my Same Thought "Fresh (2022), starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Sebastian Stan, which explores the horrors women face when going on dates. 10/10, would recommend. Especially if you like watching Sebastian Stan holding women’s faces very firmly and possessively".

First impression I saw my first glimpses of Vax while watching the M9 campaign, and I though the would be like Sasuke from Naruto, this emo boy who hates everything and everyone.

Impression now This dude holds so much love it is his ultimate downfall. Love for his sister. Love for his friends. Love for Gilmore and Keyleth. It tears him apart because he wants to do well by all of them, amidst all that is happening and it HURTS. Love as tragedy.

Favorite moment In TLOVM, Vax getting his wings. In the original campaign, just whenever the twins have some silly side interaction. Or a very poignant one.

Idea for a story Based on Kith and Kin, but what if Vex and Vax met Thorn again when they are big and famous?

Unpopular opinion Every stupid decision Vax makes is valid and right. Not in the sense that they don't have bad consequences, even though "bad" is very subjective, but everything he does is consistent with his personality and his strengths and faults.

Favorite relationship Vax and Vex. Siblings are my catnip and these two are so wonderful. All the small, tender and loving moments. Learning together, and learning to grow apart, willingly or otherwise.

Favorite headcanon Vax falls a bit in love with everyone he meets. This is actually why the Raven Queen took an interest in him. What does death do if not strengthen the love for life?
