It's 2024, and Valentine's Day will be here before you know it! Here are the prompts and dates for the Elricest event celebrating Ed and Al's love!

You can choose any of the three prompts for each day - or you can create for all three! Also, your creation may transcend categories. If you would like to write a NSFW coffeeshop AU, or draw SFW art of tattoos, that is perfectly fine! Background ships are also acceptable in your creation, as long as the main focus is Ed/Al.

03/CoS headcanon:

Noah knows from the start about Edward's romantic feelings towards the boy in a suit of armor but doesn't realize at first that this boy and the little brother Edward talks about are the same person. The nature of the boys' relationship becomes clear to her as soon as she (accidentally) touches Al.

The Ruthless Pursuit of Blood (from everyone except the bloodsucker)

Fandom: Fullmetal Alchemist

Characters: Alphonse Elric/Edward Elric, Fuhrer Bradley, Greed, Martel

Word Count: 987

The chimeras come for Al, and his specific brand of immortality.

They work for Greed, but Al doesn’t know that yet.

Martel’s smooth, overly long arms snake around Al’s shoulders after he’s flatly refused to trust this shady group of strangers. He’s tall for his age—taller than Ed, at least—but she’s still taller by half a head.

“Be a good boy,” she hisses in his ear. He shudders.

An account of Al’s kidnapping by Greed and “rescue” by the Fuhrer—in the universe where stabbing Al would actually draw blood.

Summary: Ed arrives home from an infuriating day at work, unaware of what day it is or what Al has prepared for him.

Ed shut the door to his apartment harder than he needed to. He winced at the harsh clap, but at the same time, physically venting his frustration felt good. The only thing that felt good. The only thing he could do.

Al was in the entryway before Ed could even take off his shoes. That meant the door slamming had alarmed him.

He wanted to apologize, but the words wouldn’t come.

As always, Al seemed to have read his thoughts already. “Rough day?”

Summary: Ed, a crown prince, struggles to navigate his engagement to Winry, his ongoing affair with Al, and his duty to the throne.

Winry is glaring daggers at Al. Again.

Ed fidgets in the high-backed chair and twists his head to shoot her a discreet warning look.

No one else can see this. They’re in the middle of court, for the gods’ sake.

The kingdom can’t learn of this—this triangle of love and hate and indifference between the crown prince, his betrothed, and his younger brother.
