Ranting about Nucani

There is something I want to express and this fandom should know.

Nu: Carnival is a Harem game but unlike most games in the genre the relationships with MC are all canon within the same story, there are no "Routes", no "Alternate Universe/Timelines", it's all 1 Main Story where you get to gradually meet all the Characters who'll be your companions, in this game named Clan members, and all of them one way or another end up falling for Eiden (MC), which makes polyam relationship canon with Eiden as the center:

Like very few games have polyam representation, let alone a positive one, like yes the polycule it's very Eiden central but even then all the Clan Members interact with one another, as we see mainly in the time limited Events but also in the Main Story, and have friendly and amicable interactions, they rely on one another sometimes even without Eiden being involved.

But also, Aster and Morvay have a relationship established too since way before the events of the prologue of the game, Kuya and Quincy have hinted some sort of situationship (idk I don't care about Quincy and my knowledge about Kuya is limited to what happens in the story and events cause I have no limited SSRs nor have I read any of his Intimacy Rooms).

[Also if any of you knows of any other relationship that have been hinted at that i'm missing feel free to share, i specifically ask of you to refer to only canon, i know in fanon anything and everything is possible and sometimes we may be missperceiving some interactions between characters so i ask of you to take those rose tinted glasses off and see unfiltered canon, it's hard for me too ngl so dw]

All this started with some posts I saw about ppl feeling bad for Yakumo and/or Edmond to be "forced into a polyam relationship" when they are the "most romantic members" and "deserve a monogamous relationship", their words not mine, as if mono > poly , but also do you really think they're against it!?

One thing is being Clan Members against their will (which is all Huey's fault btw), having to work together to regulate the Altars' Essence (or their own) and then another one completely is involving themselves in a personal and intimate way with Eiden, which the latter they all did in their own terms and out of free will.

Also i wanna share one of the best and my fav scenes with Karu, which i know not everyone was able to experience it cause it's hidden in the Intimacy Rooms of a Limited SSR, but it expresses exactly why the polycule is consensual.

Context: Eiden has been worrying about forcing the Clan Members to be with him because he is the New Grand Sorcerer, against their will just because of Huey's magic that ties them together and the responsibility of Regulating the Altars and basically maintaining stability in the Klein Continent.

His worries began (at least that i noticed) in "Eerie Escapade" (Halloween Event), that was also the first time Garu got hurt while protecting Eiden and the first time Karu got mad at him and fronted to yell at Eiden (which is my another fav scene of Karu omg i love him so much i gotta go back and take screenshots of that but that's for another post), the second one being in "Army x Blood x Oath" (which are the screenshots i'll show u)

Because this are the Intimacy Rooms of Garu/Karu's Limited SSR this scene focuses on Eiden feeling guilty because Garu got hurt in the past (Halloween Event) and this time he lost his memory (temporarily, due to this event's story) and Eiden blaming himself for it all and wondering if they would be better off without him, but the same can and is applied to the rest of the Clan Members, seeing how Eiden met and approached Rei while respecting his privacy and independency even tho he's also a Clan Member and the newest introduced in the story, means that the Limited Events are also canon and part of the story because Eiden seems to be growing and learning from previous Events and showing that development in future Events and the Main Story.

Karu also mentions that Garu (prior to losing his memories) was also worrying about the same thing Eiden was, like 'what if Master (Eiden) stays with us just because of the contract with Huey? :c' and he calls them both idiots because they don't communicate and fronts to fix it! (Mighty Karu to the rescue)

And talking about "Eerie Escapade" that is also the event where Yakumo's possessiveness towards Eiden shows, i'll admit i haven't seen the last room but i feel like those people i mentioned before are using it as fuel to their idea, because if Yakumo is jealous of other Clan Members interacting with Eiden and "Wants him all to himself" that must mean he wants a monogamous relationship, right?

WRONG!

That just means Yakumo is a complex person that feels different emotions specially when it comes to the most important person in his life (Eiden) other than his grandparents!

And Yakumo feels guilty for having those feelings, not because of them being in a polycule and he not wanting to be in it, but because he has trauma and sees his desires and wants as selfishness and he would never allow himself to be selfish cause he doesn't want to hurt people, he's a people's pleaser! He lives with constant fear of hurting others like the Great Serpent did when it killed many (but apparently there may be more that meets the eye, because the current event hinted that the Great Serpent actually liked humans and took care of children ???)

And Yakumo dealing with those feelings along with his yokai powers as a descendant of The Great Serpent have been the main topic of his last 3 Limited SSRs, which is great because that means CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT~

Now unfortunately i cannot talk about Edmond's Intimacy Rooms as i'm missing ALL OF HIS SSRs (why do you hate me Edmond if ily) but from what i've seen he's also pretty happy being with Eiden, heck even HIS MOM is happy his son is with Eiden!

That's right, she's the first and only parent of the Clan Members that knows and approves of their relationship, if it weren't because most of them are orphan we could get many more... i wonder if Yakumo's grandparents are aware hmmm ... and we all know Olivine's parents are gonna HATE it xD and maybe Garu's wolf pack will approve of Eiden by the end of this event.

Okay explanation time: I saw some time ago on Twitter (now known as X) that someone made a poll with nukani ships, and if I don't misremember, it was mostly Eiden ships.

So I've decided to be a bit mean and make a popularity poll without Eiden (sorry babygirl...)

Here is the bracket in questions:

As you can see, there's 16 different ships. I used the tag system in AO3 to figure out which ships to include by picking the two to three most popular relationship tag in each character.

Example:

I go to the "Search Tag" tab, type in "Edmond (NU: carnival)" in the tag name, select the "relationship" option, sort by "Uses", sort direction "Descending", and done!

As you can see, I picked the two options most popular options that weren't Eiden, leaving me with Dante/Edmond and Yakumo/Edmond as the bracket participants.

Back to the bracket itself, here is a list with the chosen pairings:

The idea is simple, I make a silly post with each pairing at the side of a poll, and people vote! How fun :] You're free to like... Team up with your friends to vote for a specific ship or incetivise people to vote for a pairing. I don't care! I'm doing this for fun, and because I'm curious lil guy!

The posts would look something like this, I think...

I plan on releasing each match one day after the other, so in total round one would take about two weeks I believe (if we count from first day of first match to last day of last match).

The posts would go up on 22:00/10:00pm UTC, with the polls having a duration of one week as to have a large poll of voters.

Also, each match up was chosen randomly. Basically I used a random number generator and pulled two numbers at a time to determine which ship should go agaisnt which.

That's all, really. Round one of voting should be starting next week, with the team matches being:

If you are feeling insecure he will try to help. He's had similar emotions that he's been working through so he will try and help that way. If you tell him you're feeling unwanted he will feel hurt like he caused you to feel unloved. When you assure him it's not his fault he will still be upset that you are feeling bad. He will open up to you about his own insecurities so you know you aren't the only person who struggles with these types of emotions. He will make more time for you and make sure you have open communication when you're feeling like this again. He cares for you and wants you to know you're loved. This ends in more quality time together.

Edmond

It takes him some time to notice you are drifting away from him. Your own insecurities making you feel unworthy to be around him so you pull away. He's awkward when he asks you if he did something wrong, if he did something to upset you and that's why you're avoiding him. He was ready to take responsibility for whatever he may have done, but is taken off guard when you have to explain that you don't feel you deserve his love. He's not really sure how to handle this situation because he doesn't even know how to handle his own insecurities. He usually punishes himself with training when he feels inadequate and treats himself to sweets afterwards. For you he suggests just skipping to the treats and takes you out to his favorite bakery.

Olivine

Probably the smartest clan member on this list emotionally, he actually asks if there's anything he can do to make you feel better. He makes a fantastic therapist, always ready to listen and never judge you for your feelings. He has talked to people about this before so he will ask if you would like advice or if you just want to get your feelings out in the open so they are easier to handle. Either way he respects your decision and assures you that no matter how you're feeling that he will always be there for you.

Quincy

He's not a big talker but he will show you that you are wanted. Mostly through cuddles. Topper will also spend more time with you even if Quincy isn't around. Honestly he doesn't change much because he knows he can't really change how you feel, but he will always be near when you need him and he hopes that's enough for you to rely on him. He wants to be a pillar in your life but it's up to you to see that he's always there for you.

Kuya

Be cautious telling him about your insecurities. At first he doesn't think it's a big deal and will probably tease you about them. However, once he sees that he's genuinely upsetting you with his teasing he will stop. Once he realizes your feelings are actually hurt he won't bring them up anymore and will steer conversations away from topics that make you feel worse. He won't apologize but he will take away any triggers he can find for your insecurities.

Blade

He does not understand. He doesn't think he caused you to feel unwanted so he struggles to comprehend where these feelings of inadequacy are coming from. It breaks his heart when you explain your feelings come from self image issues. He will compare you to every cute thing he sees. Expect lots of little gifts because he saw something that made him think of you. He is determined to show you just how much he thinks of you and that you are always in his thoughts.

Garu

You tell him you are feeling bad about yourself and he nervously starts petting you. He knows he feels loved and happy when you pet him so he's hoping you can feel how much he cares for you by returning the affection. He's not good with his words so he'll try doing things for you to make sure you know you're appreciated and loved, even if you don't feel like you are.

Karu

Illegal. He straight up tells you that you aren't allowed to feel bad about yourself. Why? Because he has to fight everyone why thinks poorly of you, and he really doesn't want to fight you. He starts getting mad when you try to explain that you can't help how you feel. The reason he's mad is because your feelings are wrong. If he says you are deserving of his affection than you are. No if ands or buts.

Dante

He is definitely going to notice that you're acting strange. At first he will give you plenty of space, which definitely does not help the feelings of being unwanted. When he finds out the reason you are avoiding him is because of self image issues he all but scoffs. “Most people are unworthy of the sun lord, but you are not one of them.” He assures you that you are deserving of love, of his love, and that you have nothing to fear. He is always blunt and you know that if you really were unworthy he would never pretend or lie that you were.

Rei

He will talk about your emotions in the most scientific way possible. He explains that emotion often don't reflect reality and it's your perception that is skewed. Basically he uses fancy words that sound like he's calling you crazy and it's all in your head. Thats not his intention but it's how it comes across. When his explanation doesn't help he gives you a book on psychology to look through. The book is marked and annotated with chapters he thinks will help you. He put effort into trying to understand and help you, he just isn't good about expressing that he wants to be with you or how he loves all your ‘imperfections’.

Eiden

He has definitely gone through feelings of imposter syndrome and not feeling worthy of his power or clan members. He understands where your insecurities are coming from even if he knows you have nothing to actually worry about. Sometimes reality and emotions don't line up but he can try and help you see just how much you mean to him. He will talk with you about how you're feeling, and he'll share his own struggles. He will also bring you around the clan members more just so he can spend more time with you and you can see the effort he's putting into you. Actions speak louder than words but he's still giving you praise and words of affirmation whenever he can.

Aster

You feeling unworthy? Well he better show you exactly what you deserve. He takes you out on the biggest shopping spree you have ever seen. You deserve that world and he will give you whatever he can until you see just how much you mean to him. As for any other insecurities, if he can do something to distract from or help lessen the feelings he will. He's not good at expressing himself emotionally so this is the best he can do. He does hope it's enough to help at least a little.

Morvay

Don't tell him you have self image issues unless you want to be smothered in affection. He will literally list out every single thing about you that he loves, and he loves all of you so that's a long list. If you sell him about a physical insecurity he has a reason why it's beautiful. If you don't like your face “but your eyes are my favorite color, and your smile makes my heart flutter!”, or if it's about your size “but your the perfect size to cuddle with! You fit perfectly in my arms!”. He is very sweet and is ready to combat and doubts you may have. Also he knows you are weak to his fluffy form so he will use that as an excuse to cuddle with you.

It was the eve of Olivine's birthday, and all the clan members had made an effort to gather that night to celebrate together. "You haven't stopped helping with everything, even though I explicitly asked you not to.... Come on, even Kuya and Quincy came! You don't even want to imagine what I had to do to get those two to attend", the chestnut felt a shiver run down his back. 

Quincy hadn't complained too much, promising him a comfortable place to sleep and dried meat for Topper had been enough to persuade him. Kuya, on the other hand...

"Oh? I could have sworn I just heard my name landing on your lips, young Master...", as if materializing out of nowhere, a thin man accompanied by a strong smell of incense appeared leaning against the wall where the fireplace was recessed. "Kuya! God, someday you're going to kill me with a heart attack", Eiden put a hand to his chest, he had indeed been startled. His reaction made the yokai smile with delight. 

"Young Master, anyone listening to you might think my presence is becoming a threat to you...", he paused for a moment to chuckle with satisfaction. "It is not to my liking to interrupt other people's conversations, even if they are about myself, but.... Certain characters are becoming incredibly irritating...", still slurring his words and with his usual bored tone, Kuya directed his gaze towards the center of the room.

The huge table was overflowing with food, a veritable feast. Aster had spared no expense. The cooks had put special care into Olivine's favorite dishes, following the list that Eiden had personally given them after asking all the priests of the church what food the Father usually preferred. It had been a nice surprise for the olive-haired young man.

At the end that was closest to the fireplace....

"Not yet, Father Olivine must be the first to taste everything", Yakumo was interposing himself between the table in front of Karu and Blade, arms outstretched. The wolf boy was visibly salivating, ready to jump on top of the desserts at any moment, while the e-droid had his arms full of jars with various types of spices and sweeteners, "but little Yakumo, the last book I read clearly said that to make your meals tastier, you have to give them explosive contrasts of flavors! Look! Little Rei was kind enough to give it to me so you could read it too!" he said, smiling charmingly as always, as he waved the blissful book in front of the young chef's face. Nearby, the alluded one watched the scene with interest, as he offered pieces of candy to the owl on his shoulder, who was also watching expectantly.

Meanwhile, at the other end...

"Idiot incubus! That's not how birthday cakes work!", Aster was reprimanding Morvay, accompanied by Edmond and Dante, who had apparently commandeered a small vial containing a bright, pink liquid of unknown provenance. "I just want to help! Everybody knows that a little bit of incubus essence is more than enough to light things up a bit, so the party will be more fun!", the young incubus was arguing as he tried to take the vial from the hands of Dante, who was holding it firmly over his head. Edmond only sighed, clutching the bridge of his nose between his index finger and thumb.

Eiden and Olivine understood at once the urgency of the situation. 

"Alright, let's not keep them waiting any longer", the priest immediately joined them, heading towards the head of the table. The place of honor. He was a little embarrassed to sit there in front of everyone, but Eiden had urged him to agree to have a little more of the limelight for once, for a change. The celebration was for him, after all.

Once he was seated, everyone took their places one by one. Looks of anticipation, others hungry and others bored, but all with a certain warmth that was impossible to hide in its entirety. He could even recognize a distinct gleam in the eyes of a certain bird who was also seated at the table next to his usual companion. They were all present...

Everyone?

"Does anyone know where the hell Quincy is?", the Grand Sorcerer looked all around the room unable to find the huge hermit or his furry companion. "I saw him leave in the direction of the kitchen? Perhaps he went to steal my food taking advantage of the fact that I was distracted?", Karu mumbled fully audibly, grunting in the process. "Of course not, Quincy wouldn't do that, he was probably just looking for a quieter place to sleep", Eiden shook his head. After all, he understood that the hubbub of the other members could be a nuisance to the blond who was used to the peaceful and undisturbed silence of his cabin in the woods. "Okay, get started, I'll go after him and be back in a few minutes", the chestnut added. "I'll go", Olivine interrupted him with his usual warm smile, grabbing his arm just in time to prevent him from getting up. "Oh? No need, you're the guest of honor. I'll just go and hurry back---", "Eiden", the priest spoke again, giving his arm an affectionate squeeze before releasing him. His tone was as gentle as ever, but at the same time, he spoke with enough authority that no one dared to contradict him. "I'll go. I'll be right back, please eat", he stood up leaving the boy somewhat confused. "Okay, we'll wait here", he finally replied. The other members started eating, all except Kuya, who just watched the scene while arching one of his eyebrows thoughtfully.

"It's only a few minutes to midnight! We'll wait for you, Olivine!", Eiden shouted at his back, and it was the last thing the priest heard before closing the door behind him.

The father made his way to the kitchen, quickly descending to the second floor. In the last stretch, where there was only a long, earthenware-floored tunnel, the echo of his footsteps thundered loudly against the bare walls. There were several doors on the sides, as the castle had many cellars for food, wine, and other things Olivine did not know about. Everything was lit by large hanging candle chandeliers, and a couple of lanterns in the corners of the passageways that led to the other storerooms.

He looked to the sides, searching. Not a soul was to be seen.

He headed for the last door at the end of the hallway, the kitchen door, when he suddenly felt a strong grip wrap around his waist and a hand on his lips. In less than a second, his feet were off the floor, and a tall, warm body crushed him against the cold stone wall, depositing him on the floor again. Air escaped his lungs as his back hit the wall.

Strong, calloused hands slipped through his clothes, taking advantage of the slit in his suit at the level of his abdomen, touching every inch of his exposed skin as much as they could, eliciting several gasps from him. When the volume of these began to rise, his lips were silenced with a hungry kiss, and much rougher than he expected. The halo coming through the window reached directly over the father's green eyes, making them resemble a pair of sparkling emeralds. The priest was so beautiful that it left Quincy speechless at his beauty, even though the man himself was not particularly talkative. Noticing the older man's scrutiny, Olivine smiled tenderly and contentedly. The blond's intense gaze could say and hide many things, but the immense respect and admiration with which he always watched him stole his breath every time. 

The older man moved closer to the young one, kissing his jaw, tracing a path of kisses down to the base of his neck, causing Olivine to sigh in pleasure. "Topper?", he asked, as he wrapped his arms around the blond's shoulders. "With the others", it was more of a grunt than a murmur. Quincy didn't like to talk more than necessary. The young one grinned again. He found the hermit's moodiness adorable.

Kuya's been commenting on strange things since you left...", Eiden had been going around in circles for the last 20 minutes, debating whether they should go find the priest before eating the cake, seriously doubting several of the diners' capacity for self-control at that point in the evening. The alcohol had taken its toll on most of the guests, and the Grand Sorcerer was no exception. "Eiden, I'm so sorry, I couldn't find Mr. Quincy and he ended up finding me, I have yet to fully memorize the mansion...", Olivine apologized, feeling somewhat guilty. He could see out of the corner of his eye a speck of white hair approaching at full speed, dodging everyone present, giving little squeals of excitement. 

Topper circled him and quickly climbed onto his shoulders, rubbing his head against the priest excitedly. Olivine stroked him gently behind the ears, feeling tender at the animal's obvious show of affection. "No, don't apologize, it's just that it's past midnight and.... Quincy, you just got here!" the chestnut exclaimed in exasperation. The blond had ignored the entire crowd to go lean back in one of the plush lounge chairs, automatically closing his eyes. "He's so inconsiderate", the young man added, embracing the father by his shoulders effusively, to lead him towards the table. "Come, come, you have many presents to open!", he told him with his usual infectious smile. "Presents?", the priest asked curiously.

In the middle of the table was a small pile of gifts. In the distance, Olivine could recognize a stylized handwriting that undoubtedly belonged to Edmond. The brightly wrapped package with a bunch of different ribbons had to be from Blade. Another with a visible homely touch bore Yakumo's aura all over it. And so, he identified one by one, without needing to open them, including one with a notoriously violet color scheme, and another that came adorned with an owl feather. His heart was softened. "Eiden, it wasn't necessary...", "we knew you'd say that, but we did it anyway. Here!", he offered him a package accompanied with an envelope, a letter. "This one is from me. It's not much, but I can assure you I put my all into it", he told him before hugging him warmly. 

Olivine was about to take the gift, when Topper jumped on him again. He was carrying something in his muzzle. The priest reached out to take the package.

It was a box wrapped in a simple dark green cloth, which gave off a pleasant smell of herbs. He didn't think about it for a second and opened it.

Inside he found a small talisman, very rustic, with intricate leather and vine designs, adorned with a tiny hand-carved wooden figure. It was a bear.

"Oh? Is that...?", Eiden glared at it, approaching the talisman for a closer look. Olivine could only smile, as he turned his gaze to the other end of the room, from where Quincy watched the scene silently.

Their gazes met, and the man smiled at him before closing his eyes again to drift off to sleep. Feeling like he was floating again, Olivine struggled to return to the real world. He could thank him properly later.

This had definitely been the most beautiful birthday he had ever had in his life.

yes. he is unbelievably pro clone-fucking. he canonically fucks his clone (SSR Salacious King). While I haven't got Salacious King and idk what the intimacy rooms are; I know for a fact that Eiden (both of them) are having the time of their kinky little lives.

THEY GET SO FREAKY. mmm incubus x incubus.. it starts off a little hesitant, with both of them wondering if they could feed off each other’s ‘essence’ and soon after - like Aster, they both ALSO end up ganging up on Eiden – damn near fist-fighting each other to get to Eiden’s ‘prize jewels’.

Eiden ends up ABSOLUTELY exhausted at the end. Its like that meme with the shriveled up man next to other person sleeping.

this isn't the exact meme, but its the same vibe.

YAKUMO;

ohh.. sweet baby yakumo..

hes so hesitant, he most likely got the idea from Eiden asking both Yakumos to double-team him. Yakumo usually struggles with 'possessive' snake instincts and weirdly enough, its the same with his own clone (despite the fact they're the same person lol).

however.. a little after Yakumo x Eiden x Yakumo's Clone.. both yakumos sneak off into the night for some 'private exploration'.. neither of them speak of it out of pure embarrassment, but the suspiciously snake-shaped bite marks on each other’s neck do not go unnoticed..

EDMOND;

hes offended that you would even suggest such a thing. he is a righteous man of noble intentions, he would never even think of such perverted acts- get your mind out of the gutter, you scoundrel-!

while edmond doesn't necessarily feel attracted to himself sexually, neither of the vice-captains can resist sneaking a little peak around the back.. but overall, nothing beyond some subtle glances.

eiden tries to convince them both for some 'regulation' but he doesn't get very far when two blushing swordsmen put their blades up to his throat.. (better luck next time, big man)

OLIVINE;

honestly? olivine is probably the one to bring this up to eiden. both priests approach the grand sorcerer quietly in the evening, mumbling about 'essence regulation'.. thats really just an excuse though. hes both insanely embarrassed and intensely aroused at his own sounds and squirming body ('does he really sound like that?').

QUINCY;

ahh yes, our resident bear..

i don't believe he would be particularly interested in fucking his own clone, unfortunately. I just don’t think that he is his own type.. but, with a low mumble of 'troublesome..', he could be convinced/teased into tag-teaming eiden or a certain cheeky fox..

in this situation, i imagine one quincy leant back against the headboard, eiden/kuya on top of him and the other quincy behind eiden/kuya with double penetration orr.. both quincys spitroasting eiden/kuya :))

either way, the clones are less focused on each other and more focused on their partner.

KUYA;

soo, the myth, the man, the legend - our local mischievous fox yokai..

i believe this would start off relatively simply, with both kuyas ganging up/sexually torturing eiden in possessive competition. similarly to yakumo, his jealous instincts are not curbed when faced with his own clone and they both spend the whole time exchanging quips and witty remarks while just plowing eiden.

but after.. i believe both kuyas sneak off to 'hate-fuck' essentially. its bitter, aggressive and honestly violent with how rough they get with each other and in the end.. i don't think there is a winner here.

GARU;

its wild how they go at each other.. honestly, eiden probably walks in on them frotting – the room thick with the scent of sweat and slick and a sight so erotic that eiden is mystically compelled to join (honestly bro? me too).

honestly? I do believe that within karu is a man capable of being on top. It takes a lot, some self-given pep-talk and enough teasing – I do genuinely believe karu would be able to successfully dominate someone, though in more of a ‘whimpery top’ kind of style..

that’s sort of what happens when eiden tries to get under both karu’s skin, sliding up to them with his usual audacity. Eventually, both karus come to a mutual agreement that there is strength in numbers and agree to take the grand sorcerer down.

It ends in a similar position as quincy’s – spitroasting eiden though with a lot more whimpering and drooling from all parties involved.

BLADE;

This story starts with some good old fashioned exploration. At first, its purely curiosity – poking and prodding at each other with eager fingers and excitable eyes. But once one of them press on a particularly sensitive spot, its all over for them. Once one of the e-droids gets the idea, the other is all too eager to delve right into the good stuff.

Eiden probably walks in on them right in the middle of the act – the two tangled up and sweaty, and they’re more than happy to extend a hand to their darling~

DANTE;

The identical Sun Lords are appalled at the very idea. They are not interested in each other like that, at all – and truthfully, they end up barely getting along due to both of their stubborn natures.

Though, the one thing they can agree on is that eiden needs to be taken down a peg. This probably ends up as a mixture of Quincy and Kuya’s scenarios – with both Sun Lord’s less focused on each other but more so on tormenting the frustrating ‘grand sorcerer’.

Spitroasting is probably the way to go here, with eiden’s mouth being put to ‘better uses’.. it looks like they’re finally getting along :))

(I don’t know much about rei so forgive me lol)

Fascinating.. they spend a majority of the time researching each other, jotting down notes and findings as they debate and theorise. Eventually (to no ones surprise), this research ends up becoming ‘research’ – if you know what I mean, wink wink, nudge nudge..

Interestingly enough, I don’t see eiden being involved at all here, nor do I see either of them topping the other.. I think its mostly ‘experiments’ that rei more-so wanted to perform on himself, that has now been made easier using his body double.

Either way, with both intelligent minds - their time researching has actually proven to be rather productive, which leads rei to seriously consider finding a way to regularly clone himself..

In all seriousness, it's harder to have non-Eiden ships because the game needs to show the others interacting more often. I think they've shown it on occasion, but it's not enough.

Ships I could see working (regardless of if they're my thing) would be:

Dante x Rei - Confident bottom with a man who is two steps from being a service top. Rei's attitude would probably fluster Dante and it would be funny to watch.

Blade x Yakumo - What better for a man with a lack of confidence than a man who adores the very air you breathe?

Yakumo x Olivine - Have you seen the way Yakumo worries about Olivine in the most recent chapters? Holy shit! Expand on that!

Aster & Morvay - They are both a ship and a friendship. I can never imagine one without the other, since they have been together for so long. Yes, Aster picks on Morvay, but he's also the first one to jump to his defense when he's in trouble. Their relationship is complicated considering Morvay was made for Aster and they both lived through the garbage that is Huey together.
