Dziś musiałam jechać coś załatwić i przypomniałam sobie, że to niedaleko miejsca, w które kiedyś bardzo lubiłam jeździć, szczególnie w nocy, „bez celu”. 😍 a w późniejszym czasie nad wodę. Więc wróciłam okrężną drogą.

Ale oczywiście nie chciało mi się wysiadać z auta zrobić lepszego zdjęcia. 😅

Zdecydowanie muszę częściej znajdywać czas na takie małe przyjemności, czy czynności, które kiedyś uwielbiałam, a z jakiegoś powodu ich zaprzestałam.

Wydarzenie zaplanowane jako impreza plenerowa na zakończenie lata odbędzie się na Plaży Kuter Port w Nieznanowicach. Festival to pomysł na muzyczne sobotnie, jeszcze letnie popołudnie i wieczór. Będzie to doskonała okazja, by spędzić miłe chwile i godziny na otwartej…

Kuter rakietowy „Gdynia” (Missile Boat „Gdynia”), Series: Polish Ships, Poland, 2013, 2 Złote, Nordic gold, Mintage: 800.000, 8.15 g, 27 mm

ORP Gdynia (named after Polish Baltic port in Gdynia city), hull number 423, was the third Polish ship with this name. She was one of the Soviet Project 205 missile boats (NATO reporting name “Osa I”). The Project 205 boats were initially classified as small missile cutters. For a long time, all information about them was classified. At first, a different system of hull numbers was used and the numbers often changed.

ORP Gdynia was built in the Rybinsk Shipyard. On 7 September 1965, she entered service in the 3rd Torpedo Boat Division of the 3rd Torpedo Boat Brigade in Gdynia. From 1971 until decommissioning from the Navy, she belonged to the 2nd Missile Torpedo Boat Squadron of the 3rd Flotilla of Ships in Gdynia. In November 1989, she was reclassified into a patrol boat with hull number 301, retaining her former name, and in June 1991 she was transferred to the Maritime Regional Unit of Border Guard as one of three boats of this type.

In the same year, she was refurbished, with her main weapons removed and replaced with a 25-mm 2M-3M twin naval gun. Registered subsequently as „SG-301”, the boat was in service until 1 March 1995, first in the Pomorski Vessel Squadron of the Maritime Regional Unit of Border Guard in Świnoujście and then in the Kaszubski Vessel Squadron in Gdańsk.

On May 29, the 16 meter, 29 tonne fishing vessel Kutere ran aground on Cobden Beach, New Zealand. The Kutere was headed for Greymouth in bad weather. The fishing vessel had been out for 7 days and decided to return to port as 30 knot winds and 3 meter swells.  As the vessel approached Greymouth, the captain fell asleep at the helm.  He had been asleep only 15 minutes, but that was enough time for the vessel to be blown off course.  The Kutere had run aground 500 meters short to the entrance of the Grey River and ended up stranded just a few meters off the beach.

The three persons on board were able to send out a distress call before abandoning ship into the vessel’s life raft. All three were able to reach shore safely. No reports of injuries.  Maritime New Zealand were alerted and has launched an investigation into the incident.

Reports state the fishing vessel will not be salvaged as it was not economic to refloat it.  Work began to remove the Kutere off the beach the following the incident. Some 2000 litres of fuel and 5 tons of fish were unloaded off the fishing vessel. The mast was removed along with all the fishing gear. The vessel will then be hauled to the top of the sand dune where it will be further dismantled.
