Obsesión Infinita

María Eugenia Perez Burguer en su charla sobre Corea mencionó a la artista japonesa Yoyoi Kusama, quién realiza increíbles pinturas y esculturas en las que deja su marca personal: círculos y lunares. Buscando más información sobre ella, me encontré con este corto realizado en el Museo MALBA en ocasión de la exposición Obsesión Infinita de Kusama.

Lo que más me atrapó fue saber que la artista ha tenido una mental enfermedad durante toda su vida pero que a través del arte la combate y expresa lo que siente y ve en sus alucinaciones. Una fuente de inspiración bastante peculiar pero que le ha generado una increíble reputación. De este modo, en su exposición La sala de obliteración invita a los espectadores a formar parte de su mundo interviniendo una habitación toda pintada de blanco con un set de stickers de varios colores.
