Lil Family w/ Gojo, Megumi, and Reader
A lil Gojo jojo drabble/imagine with Reader and Megumimi. No beta. No edits/proof reading either so feel free to skip or enjoy.
Imagine getting to meet Gojo and his son for the first time. He'd stand proudly side by side with his lil side kick -Megumi. Who'd pout at the "Stupid nickname", his words not mine and instantly be in a mood. While Gojo laughs at his human black cat, mussing up his hair and saying, "Alright, it's time to meet your future mama."
You would frizzle instantly --blushing at Gojo's comment. Your face matching Megumi's incredulous face. Before the kid's jaw could snap back into place, you burst out a laugh at your similarity in expression. Megumi blushes deeper, before scowling down at the ground and crossing his little arms in protest.
What a little old man? He couldn't be older than what, seven or eight?
That made you laugh harder and Gojo would go on to tease Megumi even more.
You decides to rescue the kid, "Hi Megumi-chan, I'm (y/n). It's nice to meet you. Gojo-kun has told me a lot about you!"
"Don't act so familiar with me", his frown deepened and his blush deepened, "If you're friends with Gojo, you must be a freak too."
"Ahhh...Megumi....don't be so harsh", his guardian responded, "you've wanted to meet her all this time."
"No!", he looked away from the white haired-man.
"It's okay Megumi-chan, I'm the one who really wanted to meet you the most."
The little old man holds firmly in his stance. Arms hugging tighter to his 4 foots frame.
You crouched down, to look up at him, "I even wanted to meet your dogs. I heard you've been working hard to keep their coats extra luxurious."
His arms soften up slightly. Gojo pretends his heart isn't beating wildly in his chest, as he stares down as you adoringly. Secretly he was hoping his little guy could be coaxed out of his untrusting nature. Even just for a little while. It wasn't his fault that every adult the lil sea urchin met failed him. It instilled a wall, that took the white haired man, six months to begin cracking down and a year to even hear the word "Dad" from kid.
If this meeting didn't go well, there would always be more opportunities to make a good impression. But if Megumi did not like you at all, Gojo would end the relationship then and there. Nothing came between him and his son, even if the grumpy lil man didn't believe it himself. You knew it too. That's part of the reason why you fell for the white-haired man.
He seemed to be all jokes and frivolous charm but as soon as you looked in heart a little more, you saw a lonely man trying his best to connect to a world that didn't understand him. You wanted to learn more, beyond his childish nature and fowl jokes. You'd have to earn Megumi's trust and a little bit more of Gojo's heart, before you could come bursting in full speed to their little family. So, you took a deep breath and tried again.
"Gojo-kun's told me about how you incorporate dry and wet foods into their bowls. Kuro and Shiro's coats always look so nice and shiny the photo's he shows me."
Megumi's arms loosen just a little bit more.
"He actually, told me something gross too", you giggled behind your manicured nails. Gojo's eyebrows arching in surprise.
"What?", the sea urchin whips his head around fast, "That guy's always spouting out some nonsense!"
You couldn't help but agree, smiling up at your lanky lover.
"HUH?!" Gojo replies.
"He told me....he told me that you feed them raw eggs and carrots."
"HUH?!" father and son look incredulously at each other, then turn to you.
"I can't imagine that'd taste good", you pout, "Unless Gojo's lying. I'd have to see it to believe it."
"Of course he is! Gojo's always up to something", he grabs to pull you with him,"I'll show you how I do it myself".
"Okay, boss you got it," you saluted to your 4-foot general, as he slide a screen door and stepped into their backyard.
"Ch- you even say weird phrases like him, no wonder he likes you".
"HUH?!"
You laughed again at the antics between the young father and son.
That day you spent most of the afternoon playing with Shiro and Kuro. Learning about their dog breed -Akita/Husky mix. Their eating habits, Shiro loved to graze by her bowl all day and Kuro loved to eat after sniffing her food approximately 12 times -- Yes, Megumi has counted her sniffs through this process a million times. Gojo had injected to recount the lil sea urchin's scientific process: yellow stop watch and notepad in hand. His face deeply serious. You tried not to laugh for 30 seconds before giving in.
You finally found your second favorite pastime after finding things to tease Gojo about, teasing old man Megumi.
By the late afternoon, Gojo had rounded his little family up. Urging them towards dinner plans, he apparently made without telling you both. Classic, Gojo. But hey he's paying so you couldn't complain.
Throughout dinner, you'd learn more about the two. Gojo was incredibly observant towards his son and in turn your sea urchin was equally observant, whipping sauce from his silly man's face.
"Dad you should eat more vegetables, you can't just eat sweets all day and think you'll be healthy."
"Ehh...but I'll die without ice cream Megumi-chan~. Besides it's my lil treat for getting up so early", he slurped on his vanilla ice cream like a tornado. How was it possibly for someone to do something so bizarre and still be so cute?
"I told you to stop eating ice cream like that that, it's embarrassing. Besides, you woke up at 12 pm. I had to take the dogs out by myself again."
You smirked at your taller counter part, "Oh really, I thought you had to get up extra-early to make sure everything was perfect for my arrival today?" You batted your eyelashes extra hard.
"12 pm on a Sunday is early for me, you guys".
It was Megumi and your time to laugh at your overgrown baby.
He could only look down at your cute faces, and smile softly. He could finally relax. His little sea urchin actually like you.
The look of adoration towards you could not be missed by Megumi's all seeing eyes of scorn, "What's up with that freaky face you're making?"
"Oh nothing", Gojo's hums, "Just thinking to myself."

Hello, I wanted to request something. I'm still new to your blog, I saw that you had a deredere character! If you can could you write one where him and the reader have already been dating and him and they celebrate valentines day together. I hope my request makes sense. Either way keep up the good work and I love your writing!
asahi haruka [deredere] - Boba Tea & Cats
a/n: okay sooo i started writing this in march and now it's may (•O•) aaaaaand honestly i could blame it on work, or my adhd, or laziness and forgetfullness, or blame in the fact that the tumblr app doesn't fuckin' notify me when i get a request in my inbox like tf! or i can blame all 4 and you can just blame me lmao. anyway, i hope you like it! sorry if it's not what you wanted. instead of valentines day, i made it into a cute anniversary date with a clingy, femboy twink boyfriend.
genre: fluff, high-school sweetheart vibes
word count: 3.9k
warnings: none
You let out a yawn as the school bell chimed, signaling the end of after school clubs and tutoring sessions. You lazily stretched and watched as the other club members gathered their bags and talked about their plans for the weekend. You pulled out your phone, scrolling through missed messages.
“Bye, Y/N-chan~!” called one of the club members. “See you Monday.”
“Yeah, bye~.” you waved as the last club member left.
You went back to your phone. Trying to catch up on your texts before the teachers started circulating. Your phone buzzed, signaling that you got a new message. You opened the text and smiled softly.
‘Did you already go home? (ó﹏ò。)’
Giggling, you text back.
‘Nope. I’m still packing up. I’ll meet you by the gate.’
Ever since you were children, Asahi Haruka had been by your side through thick and thin. You both grew up next door neighbors, attended the same schools, and shared so many memories that you can’t even imagine going a day without him. Asahi is the embodiment of a golden retriever with bright colored hair – adorable, affectionate, and endlessly optimistic. His infectious laughter is like music to your ears, and his boundless energy is like a puppy touching grass for the first time.
However, there was something undeniably magical about the transition from friends to something more. You two are dating. And both of you are complete idiots for each other. Asahi Haruka had stolen your heart completely.
You don’t know when you started having feelings for Haruka, but you can’t imagine a world without him. It sounds cliché, like it came out of a crappy Lifetime movie, but before either of you knew it you had become each other’s confidants. Sharing small touches, talking about your hopes, dreams, and fears, sneaking kisses in your room. By the time you reached high school, you both confessed. At the same time. You could always read his mind and he could read you like a book. It was as if you were two halves of the same whole, inseparable and bound by an unbreakable bond.
He’s your sun.
Just as you were finished packing and about to stand up, two soft hands covered your eyes and the scent of sweet cologne made you smile.
“Guess who~?” called a voice, a slight mischievous giggle practically giving him away.
You feigned a gasp. “Oh woah! Who could it be?”
You formed a mischievous plan of your own. Time for your favorite activity: teasing your boyfriend.
You hummed. “Judging by the six rings on each hand, it must be Kuro-kun!”
“Bzzt! Wrong!” said the voice. You could tell he was pouting slightly. “You better be joking! Try again!”
“Of course I’m joking!”
“Then, guess my name!” the voice said cheerfully.
“Hmm~, is it… Lina-chan?”
“Wrong again!”
“Oh! I got it now! This is definitely Kou-kun!”
“Nuh-uh!”
“Totally gotta be Haru.”
“Noooo~!!”
“Well, with whining like that, it must be Tsumiko-kun!”
“N/N-chaaaaaan~!”
You couldn’t hold back your laughter. Teasing Haruka was not only easy, but incredibly funny. Even with his fingers and rings pressed to your eyes, you could tell he was pouting up a storm. You tenderly stroked his fingers and laughed again in feigned revelation.
“Oooh! It’s you, Haruka~.” You removed his hands from your eyes and looked up at him with a smile. “I knew it was you.”
Staring up at your boyfriend, you could clearly see that you were right and he was pouting super hard. You kissed his hand and his pout melted into a silly grin. Yet, his eyes still held a grudge.
“N/N-chan! That was really mean…” he pouted. “You shouldn’t call your boyfriend another guy’s name.”
You giggled, leaning forward in your seat. “I’m sorry. I couldn’t help it. You’re just too cute when I tease you.”
Haruka blushed. You finished packing up your things and stood up from your chair. You grabbed Haruka’s hand. “Come on, let’s go home.”
Haruka smiled. We could. Or…” He bumped your shoulder playfully. “I can take you somewhere awesome!”
You raised an eyebrow quizzically. “Somewhere awesome, huh? And where would that be?”
Haruka smiled and gave your hand a slight tug. “It’s a surprise! It’s also close to the station so afterwards we can go home together.”
“Haruka, we’ve been going home together since primary school.”
“That’s not the point!” he huffed playfully. “Besides, today is super duper special!”
“Really?” you asked. “What’s today?”
“Today is…” he paused for dramatic effect, making you roll your eyes in the process. “Our 100 Day Anniversary!!”
Ah, of course. How could you forget?
Anniversaries were nothing new in this relationship. Especially when it came to Haruka. He celebrates everything. Friendiversaries, childhood traditions, milestones, etc.. Ever since you two started dating, he’s even added monthly anniversaries to the list. You didn’t mind it. Every milestone, tradition, and anniversary with Haruka made your heart skip a beat and cherish those memories even more.
“Wow. Today is special.” you smiled, opening the classroom door. “Well, let’s get going before we get scolded. I wanna see this super awesome place. If Haruka likes it, it must be good!”
Haruka smiled brightly and With his hand in yours, you left school and you couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement in your chest.
*****
“And then, Sensei blabbed for an hour about how I should be paying attention…” Haruka complained. “It’s not my fault I always fall asleep in his class… if he wasn’t so boring…”
As you walked through the bustling streets, you both talked about things going on with friends and school. Of course, Haruka vented to you about how he fell asleep twice in class. You chuckled.
“Hmm… if only someone had listened to my advice and not stayed up playing otome games all night.” you hummed.
“Dreamhunter has an event that allows you to collect 12 SSR cards, each with unique date timelines and rare CG’s and I’m supposed to pass on that?!”
You laughed. “Oh, I’m sure your waifus and husbandos appreciate your determination. Maybe they can help you next time you need to study for an exam.”
“Noooo~. I want N/N-chan’s help!”
“Then, you better stay awake. We're in our 3rd year now. If we wanna get into the same university, we gotta work hard.”
Eventually, you arrived at a quaint little building that immediately caught your attention. Your eyes widened and Haruka smiled brightly. “We’re finally here!”
Nestled on a charming trendy street, the light pink café exuded an inviting aura from the moment you laid eyes on it. A sleek LED sign adorned with whimsical paw prints and the café's name, "NyaNyuBo," hung above the entrance, imitating a slow glow in the afternoon sun. Flower boxes overflowed with vibrant strawflowers and multi-colored milkweeds, adding a burst of color to the café's exterior. A few white wrought-iron tables and chairs sat beneath the pink and white canopy, inviting customers to indulge in a garden party aesthetic.
The windows were adorned with hand-painted murals of playful kittens, each with a unique personality showing. Posters are also put up showcasing deals and kitten mascots advertising discounts. A chalkboard easel stood by the door, displaying daily specials and cat puns in colorful chalk lettering.
“Is this… a cat café?” you ask, looking over at your beaming boyfriend.
“Yes! Isn’t it adorable? I saw a bunch of influencers post about it on Twitter and Instagram! And I immediately thought of you! I know how much you love cats and I wanted to make our 100 day anniversary extra special!” Haruka grinned, his eyes lit with joy.
Entering the café, you had to stop yourself from making a scene. The interior was just as cute as the outside.
You were greeted by the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee, sweet bubbly fragrances of bubble tea, and the soft sound of purring and tiny meows. The interior of the café was a cozy haven, with soft pastel armchairs and plush sofas with low coffee tables, decorated with scented candles and tiny plants, arranged near the walls and windows, creating intimate seating areas perfect for relaxation. In the center of the café were wooden tables and chairs, each with decorations and cards about each of the cats. Some of the tables had cats declare the tables to be theirs as they stretched and laid across.
The afternoon sunlight streamed in through the bay windows, casting a golden glow over the room and illuminating the mellow decor and sleepy kittens. Shelves lined with books and manga and knick-knacks adorned the walls, while potted plants mounted to the walls and roof.
You and Haruka walked to a table and you basked in the cute little cards and small mason jars full of delectable treats shaped like cats and adorned with adorable edible decorations. On the card it read: ‘Please do not feed our kittens any human food. While we work hard to provide our customers with delicious food and use ingredients that both humans and animals can eat, some of our kitties' tummies might not agree. So please, feed them a couple homemade kitty treats that help them stay happy and healthy.’
You gazed lovingly at the jar of treats for the cats. They’re shaped like kitten faces with “frosting” faces of different cats.
‘Super cute!!’
You were snapped out of your thoughts as Haruka handed you a menu. You tenderly grabbed it and let out a gasp immediately after opening it.
“Everything is so cute! The sandwiches, burgers, curry – they’re all shaped like cats! Even the donuts, macarons, and ice cream parfait have 3D art! I’m in heaven~!”
Haruka giggled. “Me too! It’s like a cozy cat heaven. I wanna live here.”
“Me too!” you sigh. “I’ve been in this area so many times and I never knew there was a cat café here. Was it always a café?”
“I don’t think so. We passed by this building so many times, but I never noticed what it was originally.” Haruka reflected. “Anyway, have you decided what you want?”
You nod. “I’ll have the Smoked Salmon Baguette Sandwich and a strawberry boba tea.”
Haruka nodded and left to go place your order at the front counter. The counter was adorned with even more cat-themed decor and accessories for customers. Behind it, baristas bustled about, preparing steaming cups of coffee and boba tea and artfully crafted cat-themed desserts. Behind the baristas, you saw a small window leading to the kitchen where the chefs were working equally as hard.
You took the time to really look around the café, soaking in the mellow and chill vibe. In one corner of the café, you noticed a towering cat tree where 3 cats slept and played with the dangling toys affixed to it. You looked down at the floor and noticed colorful cat toys littered about and a few customers on the floor completely immersed in playing with the kittens.
You sat back in your chair and listened to the soft k-ballad instrumental music playing in the background and customers chattering quietly amongst themselves, their laughter mingling with the gentle purring of the resident cats.
‘I’m so grateful for Haruka.’ you thought to yourself. ‘He really knows me throughout. If I hadn’t met him…’ You felt a pang in your chest at the thought.
Soon, Haruka came back with the drinks and sat down with a sly grin. “They said our food will be out shortly.” he informed you, giving you your drink. It was even cuter in person. A smiling white cat sat atop of your boba and you felt conflicted about drinking it. “Soooo, in the meantime, I bought us these!” He pulled out two cat ear headbands, one cinnamon and one chocolate brown. He handed you the cinnamon colored cat ears and put on the chocolate brown cat ears with a huge smile. “So we can blend in!”
You stared at him for a few seconds before laughing. “You are such a weirdo!” You laughed even harder as Haruka put on the cat ears and striked various poses.
“Come on~! Put it on!” he urged.
“Alright, alright.” you sighed. Swallowing your pride and cringe, you put on the cat ears and posed awkwardly using your hands as paws. “How do I look?”
Haruka’s face exploded into a plume of red and dramatically clutched his chest. “Too cute! My heart… ah!” Just as quickly, he pulled out his phone. “Give me a little ‘nya~’!”
“Pfft-! What?” you giggled, covering your face.
“Y’know… Nya~!”
You laughed again. “No way! I’d die of cringe.”
“Boo~!” he pouted, putting his phone away. “You should take more advantage of your cuteness!”
You rolled your eyes playfully. “Right back at you, babe.”
After a bit more back and forth teasing, a waiter comes by with your food. With a smile, she sets your food down and bows, telling you to enjoy your food.
Your eyes widen and you immediately salivate at the delicious and gorgeous food in front of you.
“This looks amazing!” you exclaim. You took a whiff. “And it smells sooo heavenly~.”
Haruka nodded eagerly. “For real! Ah! Wait!” He scrambled to pull out his phone. “We gotta get a pic!”
After your boyfriend took a few pics, you two finally chow down.
*****
“…and it was really smelly too!”
“Oh my god! Did you say that to his face?”
“I had to! I’m telling you, it was disgusting-”
Your words are cut off as you feel a tiny ball of fur leap onto your lap. Pulling back a little, you look down and see the most adorable munchkin kitten with cream coating looking up at you. You let out a short, high-pitched squeal/gasp, drop your food on your plate, and scooped up the fluffy kitten.
“Ohmigosh! Haruka! Look at the baby~!” you cooed, showering the kitten in affection and holding it like a porcelain doll.
Haruka’s laughter filled the air as he cooed along with you. “Wow~! They’re so tiny. They must be a baby baby.”
You placed the kitten gently on your lap and bombarded the cutie with scritches along its back and behind the ears. Melting in your chair as you heard tiny purrs coming from the kitten.
Haruka stared at you. “You really love cats, huh?”
You nod fervently, unable to tear your gaze away from the adorable creature, making cute kissy noises and baby talking the kitten.
Haruka soon pouted from the lack of attention. “Baby~. Shouldn’t you be paying attention to your kitten right here?” he whined.
You looked up to see your boyfriend pointing at himself, pulling out his infamous puppy eyes. You giggled.
“Then maybe you should be the one on my lap, hm~?”
Haruka, not expecting such bold words, blushed bright red and struggled to find a flirt back. You laugh again.
Your attention is brought back to the kitten that is actively trying, and failing, to jump on the table. Its little pink beans were desperately pawing at your plate, gazing hungrily at your salmon baguette sandwich.
“Aww~. Is the baby hungry?” you ask. You pick out a piece of salmon and dab your napkin on it to get rid of any of the dressing on it. You bring it towards the kitten's mouth and it eagerly devours it, letting out small little mews and purrs all the while. “Wow. You were hungry, huh?”
Haruka giggles and gushes along with you at the kitten’s eating noises. “The staff probably keep the kittens on a strict kitten food routine. This is probably its first time eating human food.” he whispered, looking around the staff. “You shouldn’t give them anymore. I don’t wanna get kicked out because my love is a rule breaker.” he winked in a teasing tone.
You agreed, turning your attention back to your food and boyfriend as the happy kitten nestles in your lap.
After you both finished your food, Haruka led you to the open cat play area, where you spent the afternoon surrounded by playful and curious kitties. Haruka's boundless energy matched that of the kittens as he chased after them, played with various toys, and sprawled on the floor dramatically meowing. You never laughed this hard.
“I’m glad you brought me here.” you sigh fondly. “This is the best date ever.”
“Is it in the top 5?”
“It’s first place.” You leaned against him, foreheads touching. Under the soft glow of the café's lights, you and Haruka found yourselves drawn into a tender moment, your gazes locked in a silent exchange of affection.
“I love you.” he whispered.
“I love you too.” you whispered back, smiling.
His warm hand cupped your cheek and his breath mingled with yours. Time seemed to stop as your lips met in a sweet, lingering kiss – a slow and gentle kiss that made your heart pound in your ears. In that moment, you wanted this moment, right now, to last forever. And as you both pull away, your foreheads resting against each other, you sigh blissfully unaware of how much time has passed in the tender embrace of your boyfriend.
Peeking from your eyelashes, you notice the warm orange glow flowing from the windows.
“Oh woah… it’s that late already?” you whisper in awe.
“What~?” Haruka whined. “Noooo~! I wanna stay here longer! With you and the kitties!” He flopped on the floor dramatically with a pitiful cry. You laughed and rubbed his chest.
“Come on. If we don’t go home quickly, auntie will get worried and scold you for hours.”
Haruka pouted, but reluctantly stood up and went to the front to pay for the meal. You giggled quietly at his silliness when you felt a small fur ball brush up against you. It was the baby that jumped on your lap. You picked up the kitten, giving into the cuteness. You then felt a pang in your heart at the thought of leaving it here. The more the kitten purred against you, the more you felt the urge to stuff the kitten down your shirt and run out the door. But, you wouldn’t do that.
“Okay, baby. Let’s–”
“Excuse me!” You called out to the employee behind the counter. “Could I see an adoption application?”
The female employee behind the counter smiled brightly and clapped her hands. “Yes, of course! Would you be adopting that kitten you're holding?”
You nodded. “Yes. Does that application process take long?”
“Of course not. Please wait right here. I bring you the adoption paper and a kitten goodie bag full of essentials and a carrier.”
“Thank you!” The employee left towards the back and you softly squealed at your decision.
“Are you really going to adopt the kitten?” Haruka asked, just as excited as you are.
You nodded gleefully, covering your new kitten in kisses. “Of course! Look at this baby! It was love at first sight.”
“Hey~! No fair! I want kisses too!” Haruka whined, puckering his lips towards your face. You laughed, trying to maneuver out of his way.
“You’ve been getting kisses all day! Learn to share, Haruka.”
“Huuh??? No way! I don’t wanna share N/N-chan!”
“Too bad~.” you teased.
*****
The sun had dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of deep purple and soft pink as you both stepped out of the train station. As you and Haruka began your walk home, the streets were quiet with only the sounds of cicadas buzzing in the trees, the sidewalk illuminated by the gentle glow of street lamps. The cool evening breeze rustled the leaves, creating a soothing spring aesthetic that accompanied your footsteps.
You walked with a skip in your step, smiling in content, holding hands with your boyfriend and holding the cat carrier that held your new family member: Naoko or Nao for short.
You smiled down at the kitten curled up in the transparent carrier. “We’re almost home, Nao.”
Haruka glanced over, a soft smile playing on his lips. "Look at her. Already so comfortable with us."
You gazed down at the sleeping kitten, your heart swelling with affection. "I know right~? She's soooo adorable. I can't wait to get home and set up a little space for her with the stuff they gave us. She’s going to love it. I’m gonna make her the best meal she’s ever had in her tiny life!"
Haruka pumped his arm, flailing around Nao’s bag of essentials. "I've already got a bunch of ideas! We could set up a cozy, extra fluffy bed for her by the window so I can see her from my window, and maybe get some of those climbing trees. And a bunch of toys that she’ll be buried in! She'll have so much fun!"
You laugh softly, bouncing off his enthusiasm. “You’re gonna spoil her rotten, aren’t you?”
He winked playfully. “Absolutely! Anything for Nao! She’s our little princess!”
“Woah. Little princess, huh?” you hummed melodically. “I think I just caught a glimpse of Haruka being a lovesick dad.”
“D-Dad?!” he sputtered, his cheeks turning red.
“Yeah. I think you’d be an amazing dad, Haruka.” you stated, smiling nonchalantly.
“W-W-W-Whaaat?!” Haruka yelped, stuttering and getting even redder. “Y/N! It’s too early for us to be thinking about that! We haven’t even graduated yet! A-And I don’t have a job! You also have to be married before thinking about that stuff! We shouldn’t rush things!”
“Huh? What’re you talking about? I’m talking about the future.”
“H-Huh? O-Oh, yeah! That’s what I meant! Yeah! Totally!” he stammered, avoiding your eyes.
“Hmm~? Were you thinking of making a family right now?”
“N-No! Of course not!” He whipped his head away from you, hiding his face.
“Are you sure~? You’re blushing a lot, Ha-ru-ka-chan~.”
“Noooo~…”
“Tonight would be the most romantic day to propose, Haruka. Should I be expecting something soon?”
“N/N… please… I didn’t say anything… please stop…” he mumbled.
You laughed and decided to put a hold on the teasing to save the reputation of your boyfriend. After a few minutes of walking in comfort silence, you turned onto your street and approached your house first. You turned to your boyfriend with a smile.
“Thank you for the amazing date, Haruka. Today has been perfect. Every anniversary you always seem to one-up the dates every single time.”
“Of course, angel~. You deserve only the best.” He pressed a gentle kiss on your lips and you melt into his arms, humming in serenity. As he pulled away, he turned to walk towards his house, but you didn’t let go of his hand. You turned back, looking back at you in confusion.
“Y/N?”
“Oh, did you think you were sleeping somewhere else tonight? Absolutely not. Stay the night.”
“E-Eh? Stay the night? B-But…” He peeked at your house.
“My parents are out of town for the weekend. It’ll just be us.”
“W-What?! Really?”
“Yeah! Plus, the baby will be sad if you go home.” You raised the carrier to show the kitten, slowing waking up from its nap. “And it’s not like we haven’t slept over at each other’s houses before. It’ll be like a sleepover!”
“Oh yeah! It’s been awhile.” he noted. “Yeah, okay! I’ll have to get some stuff from my house and tell mom that I’ll be staying over tonight.” He peeked down at Nao. “And it’ll give me some quality time with NaoNao~.”
As you both walked up the pathway to the house, you smiled. “Yeah, and with Nao here, we can play house.”
“Play house?”
“Yeah. You, me, and the baby.”
Haruka’s face erupted in blush and stammered a nonsense string of words as you led him into the house, laughing at his whinings.

"K – LETTER STORY"
SILVER: "ANSWER"
Translation: Naru-kun Raws: Ridia
Yatogami Kuro was sitting in front of the tea table, worried.
It all started with a postcard he received yesterday from his brother, Mishakuji Yukari.
On the back of the table, placed on a tea table, was a photograph of the brothers posing as if they were blending into a picturesque foreign landscape (Kuro only knew it was a European street corner), as if it were a painting, and above you can see the elegant strokes of the fountain pen added to it.
The content is simple, with a few lines of recent information and a postscript.
For those who have been keeping up to date, there are anecdotes about where he stayed, how his roommate has grown, and his interactions with the other person who appears from time to time. His short, witty one-liners always remind him of Mishakuji's versatility.
(This is good.)
What bothers Kuro is the P.S., just a word.
He said,
"Thanks for your answer."
"......"
The address of the place where he will be staying is also written on the front of the postcard. Regardless of the moral argument for hanging his head, that nerve is very fraternity-like. But anyway,
(Should I respond as requested?)
His head bowed at that difficult question.
The battle of the past had finally been resolved, and the dispute should have been resolved... Not all of his bad feelings have dissipated... but at least he is no longer the subject of blatant denial... but he can't even say that his relationship is good enough to casually exchange letters.
(However, it is rude to leave it unattended and something is wrong here...)
He suddenly realized this and instinctively hit his knee.
(Yes, from here too!)
Like his brother, he wrote about people close to him. That's perfect for a return sword that doesn't add unnecessary emotions. He's sure everyone will be intrigued, even his brother.
(Let us begin.)
He grabbed a notepad and pen from the desk next to him and started writing a draft.
[Adolf K. Weismann, also known as the ''Silver King'' Isana Yashiro, whom I once considered his master and who now stands by my side as a friend, earned a strange nickname like ''German-Sensei'' in honor of assuming his position as professor.]
(Mmm, that's strange.)
Just by writing the minimum of information, and even a few notes, he filled a space the size of a postcard.
(Well, Shiro is a special man... if that's the case.)
He carefully tore off one note and wrote on the second.
[Neko transferred to Ashinaka High School with his real name, Ameno Miyabi, and causes commotion around her regardless of whether she uses supernatural powers or not. To clean up after that, Shiro and I ran out...]
(Hmm, what do you mean?)
He filled out another page.
(I guess Neko often acts like a cat...)
In that case, he would like to broaden the scope a little more and write about Kukuri Yukizome... no, his brother doesn't know about her, nor about Toru Hieda... a person who was involved with the "Green King".
"No, why?!"
Unbeknownst to him, a cry of agony escaped him.
The advice came slightly from behind.
"I think it's best to let go of unnecessary pretensions and just write as you want."
"It's not an unnecessary pretense. It's the way you should behave..."
After answering normally, Kuro turned around.
Before he knew it, Shiro had returned home and was stacking the books he took out of his bag on his desk. Likewise, Neko, still in her human form, was curled up in bed and yawning.
Kuro avoids unnecessary interactions with these two people he knows well (although he thought that, if he didn't take off Neko's uniform quickly, it would take him longer to iron it).
"I found out why I was trying to talk back to my brother."
Shiro let out a sigh.
"Well, I've been thinking about that since you got the postcard yesterday. When I got home, I found you moaning in front of your notebook, so I can understand why you're worried about the wording."
"Umm, squishy, squishy, squishy, all over again. Nyahahahaha."
Riding a horse, Neko lay down and adopted a series of poses that seemed to imitate another person.
Shiro hesitantly told his friend, who accepted his misfortune with a bitter face, an inference that could be another blow.
"I was also thinking about this all day... that person named Mishakuji Yukari."
"What?"
"Maybe he added that word to mock Kuro, in anticipation that you would worry like that?"
Kuro was about to say "Gah!" and he sat upright.
Intuitively, he was sure that Shiro was right.
That's what his brother might be able to do.
A few days later.
Kuro eventually recovered and, feeling depressed and confused, wrote only a poem of his own in response.
[There is no communication between us, but we have a supportive relationship.]

Kuro (Kuroo Tetsuro x Reader)
Friendly reminder that English is not my first language. You can check my Masterlists both in English and Polish here. Consider supporting me on Ko-fi. You can also check out my commissions if you’re interested.
Other oneshots can be found here.
ᴀᴅᴅɪᴛɪᴏɴᴀʟ ɪɴꜰᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: 1. ᴋᴜʀᴏ ᴍᴇᴀɴꜱ ʙʟᴀᴄᴋ. ɪᴛ'ꜱ ꜱᴏʀ ᴏꜰ ᴀ ᴠᴇʀʙᴀʟ ɢᴀᴍᴇ ɪɴ ᴛʜɪꜱ ꜱʜᴏᴛ.
[Reader] dialed Kuroo's number again, ignoring the cat that was pawing at her leg.
Raindrops slowly appeared on the sidewalk. However, all you had to do was look above the two large skyscrapers to see that a downpour was coming.
— Great. All I need right now — she muttered.
The girl did not have an umbrella with her. She knew she couldn't wait any longer for the captain of the volleyball team. The prospect of a cold did not encourage her to make any sacrifices.
She looked at the black kitten. He didn't have a collar and yet he didn't behave like a stray cat. He was clean. Moreover, he had been trying to get her attention for several minutes.
— I won't leave you in the rain — she said, taking it into her arms. — Just don't bite me, please.
— I'm back! - [Reader] announced, putting away her shoes.
She was dripping wet and wished she could change her clothes.
— Why so early? — a voice rang out in the living room. — And whose cat is this? — The older brother looked at the animal suspiciously.
— I was waiting for Kuroo-kun but he didn't come. And the cat... I stumbled upon him on road... — she finished uncertainly. — Tomorrow I'll put out ads, maybe someone is looking for him.
She knew she would have to hide the new tenant in the room. Parents were reluctant to see this type of friends at home.
— Maybe the captain finally realized that you were into him and ran away in fear... — the boy laughed.
The cat meowed loudly, almost making the girl drop her bowl.
— Very funny! — She hit her brother on the shoulder with the milk bottle. — Maybe something happened to him? He had an accident or...
— I'm sure with his reflexes it's hard to get hit by a car. I'm off to class. — He ruffled her hair.
[Reader] locked the apartment, then went to the bedroom.
— Well, kuro, no more wet clothes.
She took out pants and a loose T-shirt from the closet with the intention of changing her clothes. However, she was stopped by the animal's strange reaction. He stared at her with large brown eyes in disbelief. The girl assumed she guessed his name because he seemed to understand it was about him. Once she decided to lift her wet sweater, he turned his tail towards her. It was as if he had no intention of spying.
— Don't you want milk? — She walked over and scraped the bowl. — Maybe you're bored? — She threw a ball of paper.
The cat's first instinct was to catch the rustling object. After a while, however, as if embarrassed, he left it.
[Reader] glanced at the smartphone screen.
From: Kozume Kenma
The last time I saw him, he was leaving to see you. His battery is probably dead because he doesn't answer. I'll ask the guys and see if he came home. We'll be in touch.
— Maybe he found out about the chocolates and didn't want to upset me? Although it's not really his style... On the other hand, now it's not just the whole school that's following him... Rather, the whole prefecture... He's probably already got piles of homemade sweets and I'd go out with the ready-made ones from the store... If he ignored me on purpose, it's probably for the best. — She lay down on the bed.
Kuro meowed before jumping onto the freshly laundered sheets. The girl frowned at the brown streaks. She was going to have to play with bleach.
The animal placed its fluffy paw on her thigh. She scratched him behind the ear, earning him a purr of satisfaction. The sound was like the faint roar of a car.
— I don't have a basket, so you sleep with me. — She took the cat for a nap.
At first he struggled slightly but after the third attempt he gave up.
He fell asleep, cuddled up next to his temporary owner.
The girl rubbed her eye. She was woken up by the strange sound of quiet chewing. Even more strangely, her right arm seemed to be covered with something heavy.
— Are you awake yet? — A familiar voice reached his ear.
She looked towards it and found the owner. It was none other than Kuroo Tetsurō.
— Why do we sleep in the same bed? — she asked.
It seemed incredibly stupid to her right after she said it out loud.
— I was a cat and once I turned back into a human, you weren't going to let go of my hand while you were sleeping — he replied as if it was the most natural thing in the world.
— Let's assume it sounds rational... Why are you covered in chocolate?
— I was hungry and there were chocolates on the bedside table. They were technically mine anyway, so I guess it doesn't bother you. — He wiped the corner of his mouth. — Just for the record, not every girl is into me. And even if they were, none of them is you...
[Reader] blushed. Trying to process everything at once was too much for her.
— I guess we have a lot to talk about...

Eliza's Library of Fics
Because I am a writer of various fandoms and dozens of stories now, I'm going to put them under a cut to save space.
**NOTE THAT SOME STORIES ARE 18+**
Many of my stories, and just my blog in general, are meant for mature audiences. I am a full grown adult writing some mature themes at times. Viewer discretion advised. I do my best to tag common triggers, but I'm also bad at it. So, yeah. Read at your own risk. If it seems sketchy, please back out. I don't want you traumatized because my brain felt spicy when writing.

But as it turns out, hell (The Netherworld, actually) was a lot better than living on earth. Demons were more humane than a lot of humans you knew. And Iruma’s smile wasn’t the only one that would change your life. (Balam/Reader; Found Family Fic; Revision in progress)

It started out as a means to get information as Khaladore. Who would be better to provide information regarding the high seas than Syrup Village’s Harbormaster? Except, for the first time in a very long time, Kuro found himself trusting, and even liking, the young woman he shared tea with every week.
And then the Straw Hat Pirates arrived and ruined his plans. Except fate decided his story wasn’t done there.

Even in a world of monsters, devil fruits, pirates, and fishmen, selkies were considered a myth. Especially in the East Blue where the waters were too warm for seals to live anyways. Alternate Summary: You thought it would be easy to follow the stars home to the Arctic when you ended up far too south. Unfortunately, you were wrong.
Fortunately, another kind of star kept pulling you in-- the Flashy Fool: Buggy the Clown.
Unfortunately, this also leads you to question where 'home' really is.

Rating: Teen so far
Pairing: Sanji/Reader
Warnings: No real warnings, but god, I hope you like pining
Summary: You felt like you had known Sanji forever, considering your family had been the main merchants Zeff used to supply the Baratie. You had a small crush on him, but knew it was hopeless considering you were the one woman he didn't seem to pine over.
It was fine. Or so you thought until you ended up on the Going Merry as a bookkeeper and supply manager. Being around him 24/7 was a lot more difficult than just a few days a week.

》Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach《
Feeling so Bright
Rating: Teen
Pairing: Freddy/Reader (?)
Summary: After the infamous night of a ten year old child being stuck in the Pizzaplex overnight and causing untold chaos to the place in less than six hours; Vanessa understandably needed a few days off, and you were happy to fill in (not that you were given a choice really.) Except the main technician for the Glam Rocks had been fired (or disappeared, depending on who you asked) and so you were also assigned to their restoration as well as maintenance and upkeep of the staff bots.
As if that assignment isn’t large enough, Freddy tells you his version of the Incident, which makes things even more complicated as you start piecing puzzle pieces together. The bear animatronic, after seeing all his friends be warped by a virus and taken down by a child he cares for, becomes rather protective of you. Especially as things… develop.
These feelings are just because you’re both lonely, right? Once things go back to normal, surely they’ll fade away.

Summary: Raymond Chestnut gets a harsh surprise when he realizes the body in his living room isn't actually dead. Now he has a severely injured white man, who tried to kill him, to deal with. Thankfully he knows a friend who might be able to help.
Lorelei was used to people coming to her for medical attention. But when Raymond brings Otto to her home, nothing could prepare for how her life was about to change.

Tell me about your servamp AUs... All of them...
GET THE FUCK OFF MY PORCH, NICCOLO, GET!!! GIT!!! SWATS AT YOU LIKE A FLY!!!
ok this is going to be a long list tho so buckle up:
Succubus Mahiru AU, inspired by @yarrayora 's bc i love it and would love to hear theirs. plz. I wanna hear about it so bad.
Kuro Has Too Many Exes AU, where the usual "Mahiru drags home a human!kuro" and gets into a situationship that turns into a relationship with him and he meets all of kuro's exes (the other servamps, gear, germaine) and helps him deal with all of that.
The Game (i havent figured out a cool name for this au yet) AU where there is this huge reality tv show that doubles as a romance/job hunting thing where people or companies will hunt someone of their choosing for either romance or to recruit. The people chasing are hunters and the people running are prey and the goal of the prey is to run around the country to avoid getting caught by the hunters for as long as they can for a guarantied better life and a heafty cash prize. The goal of the hunters is to try and capture their desired prey and if they succeed, they date or recruit them. Mahiru finds himself nominated by japan internet to be prey and he does it.
"Haunted House" Au where the Servamps arent vampires but still immortal and they get sentient houses out of it. I love this one.
Mahiru And The Witch's Broom Au, based off the movie Mary and the Witches Flower. An Au where Mahiru breaks his broom so he buys another that turns out to be a magic broom that broomnaps him into the magical world hidden from non-magic humans. He had picked up a normal "cat" the same day and the cat, Kuro, got broomnapped with him. Mahiru becomes a witch and its chaos, I love it.
There's also my Welcome To Demon School, Iruma-Kun au for Servamp. Akira made a deal with a demon, Tooru, when Mahiru was born in order to help take care of him and give him a family, Tooru gets attached to Akira and they both end up concidering themselves siblings and so obviously he loves his sister very much as well as his adorable nephew Mahiru. Akira dies and their both heartbroken, Tooru doesnt let go of the Shirota Visage and stays in the human world (illegally) to care for Mahiru. Shit happens and Mahiru gets sucked into the demon world and he isnt able to go back. There starts his new school life!
MY CORALINE AU, OF COURSE!!!!!
My clown au that is so for me specifically and i love love love LOVE IT.
My Au based off of the Lotus Flower Casino from the Percy Jackson movie specifically. Please ask about this one.
Mine and @pinkestlittlebutterfly 's Candy House au, which is a more mafia setting post-Tsubaki defeating that has all the demons being human apart from their servamps and each respective demon-servamp has History with each other. Sloth, named Rowan here, ends up falling in love with Mahiru in an attempt to steal away the thing Kuro loves the most. No, they are not related here but everything is great and Fibi's ideas are *mwah* CHEF'S KISS.
We also made a Fae Au together that i adore just as much.
My self-indulgent Sloth Pair move-out au where they get a really nice but trashed house they renovate and its very lovey dovey and domestic and a bit angsty bc Mahiru's never really been anywhere but Tooru's apartment and also Touma makes Tooru miss Mahiru's move-out day when they finally fix their house up. Also they somehow swindle C3 into paying their bills for saving japan.
The Bakery Au where Mahiru opens his own small bakery/resturaunt and takes in Kuro and attracts very annoying people because of it. They all love his cooking. Kuro ends up learning and helping Mahi along with Sakuya. Tho I admit that this au is a little half-baked..... ;3
The Au where Mahiru takes Sakuya up on his request to start a band together and their love gets stronger and stronger with each song and mishap they make and get into.
Love Is Stored In The Cat AU, where Kuro gets moved into the apartment next to Mahiru by a worried Lily, finds a random cat in his apartment one day that got into his house through the faulty balcony door, ends up meeting mahiru because thats his cat and they start talking and its really cute. This is a Kuro healing au.
That Au where C3 buys a place to make all of the Pairs + Team M live in together. Its a very big, nice, high tech house with more than enough space for all of them and their individual preferences but we all know thats not going to stop any chaos and sibling drama. It has a huge, high tech kitchen that I swear Mahiru is in love with. Hed marry it, theres so much space. Also there are a lot of other rooms for activities! Team M has a room dedicated to their game nights.
My IB au, following the game, Mahiru goes on a school field trip to a new museum and gets sucked in to the world of Germaine's paintings. In this au, Germaine immortalizes the servamps through art.
And there's of course the AU where Germaine gets a body of his very own and due to very tough and unfortunate circumstances, Mahiru makes a contract with him! Kuro is not happy.
Then there's the Merfolk Au i have where all the Eves are merfolk instead of the other way around.
Thaaaaaaaat's all I can think of rn. So yeah. Also GET THE HELL OFF MY TUMBLR NICCOLO!!! WE WERE IN CLASS SITTING NEXT TO EACH OTHER WHEN U SENT ME THIS STHAP. cant believe i didnt see you do that.
#servamp#mahiru shirota#shirota mahiru#kuro servamp#watanuki sakuya#inner kuro servamp#sloth pair#pride pair#envy pair#wrath pair#greed pair#gluttony pair#lust pair#team melancholy#Everyone shut up i had to remember all of my aus#i love them all but i love some more than others

Raison d’être - A Premature Burial 2
Author: Akira
Characters: Nazuna, Kuro, Mika, Shu
Translator: Mika Enstars
"You’re cryin’ like a cat… Seriously, what’s up~? There, there. You’ll be graduating from high school soon, won’t you, Kagehira~?"
[Read on my blog for the best viewing experience with Oi~ssu ♪]
Season: Winter
Location: Starmony Dorms (Exterior)
Nazuna: Hm~? Actually, I heard something about you being summoned by Itsuki to the house he was boarding at, Kagehira.
Was he unkind to you again? That guy… If he was cruel to you, I’ll complain to him myself, ‘kay?
Mika: Nnah, Nazuna-nii—
Nazuna-nii~! W-W-W, What do I do? I-I don’t know what t’do anymore…!
Nazuna: Uhyah? Dyon’t jump on mwe like that, you’re gettin’ heavier an’ more filled out these days!
Mika: Nnah~, nnaaah~… But, I, I—
Nazuna: You’re cryin’ like a cat… Seriously, what’s up~? There, there. You’ll be graduating from high school soon, won’t you, Kagehira~? You’re a grown man now, aren’t you~?
Mika: Sniff! But, Nazuna-nii~… It’s horrible. Truth is, Oshi-san’s Grandpa, he…
Kuro: Hmm? What’s happened with his grandfather? I’d heard that he’s been in poor health and bedridden since last winter.
Mika: Ya didn’t hear either, “Ryuu~-kun”-san? Aah, ya are rather estranged from each other now, arent’cha?
Um. I’m still tryna confirm the truth, but… …It appears that Oshi-san’s Grandfather has passed away.
Kuro: Wha?
Mika: He used t’let me freeload at his house, so it’s got to do with me too!
So, I hurried back to the country myself—T-The funeral… I’ve gotta prepare fer it…!
Kuro: Ah~… This again?
Mika: Nnah? W-What do you mean by, “this again”?
Kuro: Nah, maybe its for real this time… So, I won’t go sayin’ anythin’ careless.
As far as I know, this is ‘bout… the 17th time Itsuki’s gramps has passed away.
Mika: Nnah…?
Nazuna: Ah~, that happened once back when Valkyrie was just Itsuki and I.
I don’t know Itsukis’ gramps personally, but from what I’ve heard, he seems like a preeetty mischievous guy. Pretends to die every so often, for whatever reason.
Mika: P-Pretend to die…? Eh? Yer kiddin’, why would he do somethin’ like that?
Nazuna: Who knows… By the time I learned of it, Itsuki’s family had already gotten used to it.
They’d be like, “I’m so sick of Grandfather’s antics.” Only Itsuki would panic, because he really seems to love his gramps.
Kuro: That’s right~… I’d feel real sorry for him too, at first. I’d take care of him like he was a kid and treat him to sweets to comfort him and such.
But once you hit the fifth time, it starts t’get tiresome’… I’d just end up sayin’ “I see. That’s horrible.” whenever I heard it.
Mika: Whaaa…?
Kuro: Just sayin’. If it were for real this time, it’d be no joke, but don’t take it too hard—‘Kay, Kagehira?
Itsuki too. That gramps that Itsuki’s the most attached to, is the type of person who’s too exhaustin’ to take seriously.
Mika: … …
Location: Paris Townscape
Shu: “Alright. Now then, I’ll be going.”[1]
“Yes, I know that—Given that by any chance, that is the case. Grandfather is old and has been in poor health since winter last year.”
“If it were simply that attention-seeking old man acting stupid and playing around with those around him… It would be better if it were a prank like that.”
“I shall return to Japan briefly to confirm the truth with my own eyes. Yes, it is still cold out, so take care of your health as well.”
“Now then, if you’d excuse me.”
“…Yes? Hmm? What is it?”
“It’s possible that, mayhaps it had gotten mixed in what I had mailed Kagehira—Ahh, a work partner of mine’s luggage.”
“Yes, I had mailed some of my work over to him… Doing so, some of the items from the atelier might have gotten mixed in.”
“Yes. I’ll try to find it. Oh, no, that doesn’t belong to me.”
“Hm. Could it have originally been Grandfather’s? Rather than returning it back here, in the case Grandfather has really passed, it might be good to place it at his graveside, wouldn’t it?”
“Hm, you would advise against it? It might get you in trouble? What do you mean by that…?”
“I’m not quite sure, but understood. Right. Now then, again, if you’d excuse me.”
Shu: (…Goodness gracious. Grandfather causes such a commotion every time.)
(Then again, there is the case of the boy who cried wolf. The last time I had visited him, he was so gaunt he looked like a completely different person…)
(So this time around, it’s possible…)
(Ahh, I hate this. No matter how much time passes, I can’t get accustomed to the concept of death.)
(I wish everyone were all dolls.)
(I wish they could all be put on display in my kingdom for eternity, never to deteriorate.)
Shu: … …

It's not going very well in my life right now, so I put everything on the backburner to draw some uplifting things. Well I'm not very uplifted, but I now have more art of my idiots (and @crow-songs-at-dawn's own Tomoyo).
Featuring Menthe's new design with the scar.
The dorks are from left to right Tomoyo, Yuki, Menthe and Shizuka. The cats are Brahms, Cookie, Pomme, Chess, Kuro-kun, Nibbles and Koshekh. Who appeared on the drawing because I wanted a cat playing with the pompons but didn't want to move any of the others.
NIbbles is based on my own experience with @crow-songs-at-dawn's cat who likes using my butt as a pillow.
Also Arcopal (the cups) is very important in France.
[Image ID : four people sitting together on a light peach background. Tomoyo, a tall japanese woman with long brown hair, brown eyes and glasses, is playing on a laptop that makes minecraft noises. She's wearing a purple plaid shirt, a Ghost shirt, a long black skirt and thick socks with bones on them. The laptop is covered in stickers. A Siamese cat is sleeping on her legs. She's leaning on Yuki, a small japanese woman with grey and white long hair gathered back, brown eyes and sharp cheekbones. She's wearing a too big blue plaid shirt, a Ghost shirt, a long blue skirt and thick socks decorated with snowflakes. She's knitting something yellow and is surrounded by yarn. An orange cat is playing with one of the balls of yarn. Menthe, a white woman with shaggy brown hair, green eyes and a large scar on her face, is craddling a grey cat against her chest. She's wearing a green hoodie, jeans and green socks with cat heads on them. She's smiling and looking at Shizuka, a japanese man with long blond hair gathered back and black eyes, laying on his stomach beside her. He's wearing a pink hoodie, brown cargo pants and pink socks with atoms on them. He's leaning on one hand, and making a "walking" gesture with the other. A black and white cat is laying beside him and looking at his fingers. A small black cat is on Shizuka's back, playing with his hair. A third cat, large and calico, is sleeping on him. And a last cat, a small brown one with long hair, is playing with the pompon hanging from the sock. Yuki and Shizuka are talking, Yuki about a yellow scarf, Shizuka about pink socks. Tomoyo and Menthe are humming. end ID]

Izumi: Yeah. It’s about the character that Muku-kun is going to play… We finished tallying up the request survey we got back from the all your fans.
Kazunari: You mean Mukkun’s side character has been decided!?
Muku: Oh! Which character is it…?
Izumi: For Muku… it’s Nora from “The Great Sardine Search”!
Kazunari: Ooh! Nora!
Muku: Wow, I get to play Nora again! He’s so cool!
Kazunari: You said Nora was cool the first time you read the script. I’m happy for you!
Muku: Thanks! Ehehe. I’m really happy.
Izumi: Discuss the script with Tsuzuru-kun, alright?
Muku: For sure! I hope I can show off how cool Nora is.
Kazunari: If it’s you, then you totally will!
Muku: Thanks. I’ll try my best! Nora’s spin-off short story, huh… …I know! Kazu-kun, if you happen to have some time…
-pause-
Kazunari: So your request was to go on an adventure with me an Yukki, huh… it’s lit AF! I can’t wait~!
Yuki: I also heard Nora is the character Muku’s going to play, so I started revamping the costume yesterday. It’s been a while since you’ve worn a costume with cat ears, so I have to check every little detail.
Muku: Thanks so much, you two…! I want to go an adventure with Shiro and Kuro today.
Yuki: So, what are we going to do for this “adventure”?
Muku: Nora is a cat who roams freely, so I’d like to go where I want without deciding on a particular location. In the past, after I was chosen to play Nora, I went out by myself in order to prepare for my role… But I think it’s more fun being together with everyone. And besides, by doing what Nora would do like this, I might come up with what I’d like to do for the spin-off.
Kazunari: Gotcha~. I’ll stick with you until the very end, just say the word!
Yuki: Yeah, it’s good you’re taking your time to think about it in your own way. I’ll go with you too.
Muku: Great! Thank you.
-pause-
Kazunari: Alright fellas, where should we head first?
Muku: Hmm, let me think…
Cat: …
Muku: Huh? A cat…?
Yuki: It feels like it’s looking at us.
Kazunari: Hold on, doesn’t that kitty sorta look like Nora?
Cat: Meow~.
Yuki: Ah, it started walking.
Muku: …Say, you two. What do you say to following after that cat?
Kazunari: Of course I’m down!
Yuki: Well, I guess we can choose our destination that way once in a while.

[Gakuen K] Yatogami Kuroh Route Translation
I want a kotatsu!
LIST OF CHAPTERS
[Translation under the cut]
Neko: Uuuuh, it's cold…
Kuroh: Are you repeating after Shiro?
Neko: Did Shiro say it was cold too?
Saya: Uhm. He said it was very cold.
Neko: Really!? Same as Shiro! Same! Achoo!
Saya: Are you alright? Oh, yes, tissues.
Neko: Thanks, Gohan. Wagahai hate winter…
Saya: They say cats curl up under kotatsu.
Neko: That's right. Kotatsu…
Neko: Kotatsu! Wagahai wants to curl up under the kotatsu!
Saya: You want to put it in the clubroom?
Neko: That's right! Put it here and we'll all snuggle under it together!
Kuroh: Rejected.
Neko: Why!
Kuroh: Because it is not a necessity. You know that our club's expenses are low.
Neko: It's a necessity! Absolutely necessity!
Kuroh: Besides, it would make an already small room even more cramped.
Neko: It's better than the cold!
Saya: Both of you, let's not fight, okay?
Shiro: I'm ho-ome. I heard you from the hallway, what's going on?
Saya: Welcome back, Shiro-kun. Actually, these two were fighting.
Shiro: Fighting is not good. What was the cause?
Kuroh: It's not a fight, Neko is just quibbling.
Neko: I'm not quibbling! Wagahai is making a proposal for the club!
Shiro: You didn't answer my question…
Saya: Um, Neko wants a kotatsu.
Saya: Kuro-kun is against it because we have no money and no space.
Shiro: Thanks. You're the conscience of the Silver club…
Shiro: But I think a kotatu…is a good idea. It's kinda seasonal tradition, and more importantly, it's warm.
Neko: Yoo-hoo! After all, Shiro is Wagahai's Shiro!
Kuroh: Not only the purchase cost, but also the electricity cost. Where in the world are we going to get the money to pay for it?
Shiro: It's okay, it's okay! We made quite a bit of money at the fall school festival. Let's take a look in the net.
Neko: Let's, let's!
Saya: If we have the money, I wouldn't mind buying it too…
Kuroh: Even you… …It's a terrifying thing that corrupts people.
Saya: Corrupts… Maybe you misunderstood what kotatsu is?
Kuroh: Once you put your feet under the kotatsu, you will be too lazy to move, and as a result, you'll become corrupted.
Kuroh: It is still terrifying. It is an evil weapon created by demons.
Saya: That's an exaggeration…
Saya: …Huh, someone's here. Is it Claudia-sensei? It's rare for a teacher to come to the clubroom…
Saya: Okay, I'll open it.
Saya: Sensei, what ha--
Ichigen: Hello.
Kuroh: I-Ichigen-sama! Hello! Thanks for coming all the way out here!
Ichigen: Kuro. You don't have to be so respectfull. I've got a delivery for you.
Saya: Hello, principal. What's the delivery?
Ichigen: Ah, it's you. Long time no see. I'm relieved to see you're doing well.
Shiro: Ah, principal! Did you bring it already?
Kuroh: You bastard…What did you say to Ichigen-sama…?
Ichigen: Kuro. It's okay. Isana-kun, sign here.
Shiro: Oka-ay. That was fast.
Ichigen: Well then, sorry, but would you let me put it indoors?
Shiro: Roger. Thanks a lot! I'll use it again.
Ichigen: Yeah, it's in your service from now own. See you soon.
Kuroh: Ha…! Ichigen-sama, at least have some tea…!
Kuroh: He's gone…
Shiro: Kuro. Don't dwell on the afterglow, help me put the kotatsu in.
Kuroh: …Because it was brought by Ichigen-sama. I'll help you.
Neko: Big package! Hey, hey, could it be, could it be~!
Shiro: Uhm, it's kotatsu.
Neko: Woo-hoo! Kotatsu!
Saya: Isn't it too soon for it…? Also why is the principal…
Shiro: Oh dear, online shopping is so convenient these days.
Shiro: Kuro, can you help me to assemble it?
Kuroh: I refuse. Helping to assemble the tool of corruption…
Shiro: But it was the principal who brought the kotatsu, remember?
Kuroh: Ugh…!
Shiro: Fufu. Okay, instruction and tools.
Kuroh: …I'll just help you assemble it. I won't give in to evil!
Neko: Haaa…It's warm…It's so warm, it feels so good~
Shiro: Yeeah, that's calming…Suddenly I feel like eating tangerines.
Neko: I want to eat tangerines! But I don't want to get out of here~
Shiro: Ahaha, me too.
Kuroh: You see? The corruption has begun immediately, hasn't it?
Saya: Kuro-kun, don't just sit in the corner of the room, get in too.
Kuroh: I refuse. I don't want to be corrupted.
Choice: [Don't say that…]
Saya: Don't say that… Get in here, Kuro-kun. Hey?
Kuroh: E-Even if you look at me like that, I'm not joining you!
Saya: Kuro-kun…
Kuroh: I'm telling you I won't join!
Shiro: One more push, I guess. Hmmm, she's pretty good at it, too.
Choice: [It's not good to force you]
Saya: I see…It's not good to force you.
Saya: I wanted to get under the kotatsu with you. I'll hold back.
Kuroh: …
Kuroh: …I-If you insist that much.
Saya: Hm?
Kuroh: If you insist, I'll join you.
Saya: Eh, is it okay? You're not forcing yourself, right?
Kuroh: Yeah, I'm not forcing myself.
Shiro: In the end, Kuro has a weak spot for her, doesn't he?
Saya: Knock-knock …Huh, it looks like someone has come again.
Shiro: I don't want to leave the kotatsu. Can someone else do it for me?
Neko: Wagahai doesn't want to leave the kotatsu too!
Saya: I'll go.
Kuroh: Wait, I'll go with you.
Saya: Knock-knock Ye-es, who's it?
Kuroh: Ichihen-sama!
Ichigen: Yeah, hello. There's another delivery for you.
Saya: Huh, another one? I wonder what Shiro-kun bought so many of…
Kuroh: This guy…To treat Ichigen-sama like this…! I won't forgive him!!
Ichigen: Kuro. It's okay. It's also my responsibility as a principal.
Ichigen: I am more than happy to give my students a good school life.
Kuroh: I-Ichigen-sama…! What a wonderful thought…!
Ichigen: Well, here's the package. Isana-kun requested to deliver it on the same day.
Ichigen: I don't know what's in them, but he wanted to get it urgently. Can you sign it for me?
Saya: Y-yeah. Um, is this okay?
Ichigen: Yeah, it's all right…Thanks a lot. Now, if you'll excuse me.
Saya: I wonder what he bought so much of?
Kuroh: Even if Ichigen-sama said it's all right…This guy…He had Ichigen-sama deliver packages to him several times…
Saya: W-Well-well. I have no idea why, but the principal said it's all right….
Kuroh: You're too soft to Shiro. Never mind, lend it to me. I'll get it over there.
Kuroh: Oi, you bastard…What are these packages?
Kuroh: You even order Ichigen-sama to deliver them on the same day. It must be a big deal.
Shiro: Ah, thanks. These are what I call "overwintering items".
Saya: Overwintering items?
Shiro: Right. Two boxes of mandarins, three boxes of family size snacks and a set of cleaning tools.
Kuroh: …Did you buy these with club funds?
Shiro: It's for the comfort of club activities. These are necessities! I've already explained it to the principal.
Neko: Shiro, these mandarins are sour!
Shiro: Well then, let's do some magic. Sour tangerines become sweeter when you squeeze them enough.
Neko: Really!? I'll try!
Kuroh: Good grief, this is why we are always short of club funds at the critical moment…
Saya: Well-well, I think we're going to have a good time this winter.
Kuroh: …I guess I'll have to agree. Do you eat tangerines too?
Saya: Uhm! After all, nothing is better than to eat tangerines under the kotatsu.
Kuroh: Is that so? But…I guess kotatsu isn't such a bad thing.

Day 1: Love Notes
Kenma has never been a big eater, and most times comes home with left-over food in his bento, so the first time he doesn’t is a bit of a shock.
“Kenma did you eat all your food?” She can’t help but feel a bit incredulous. He’s a few months into his first year at high school, a bit more talkative compared to when he was younger, but he still shifts a bit and looks away before responding.
“No.”
“That’s ok, what happened to the rest of it?”
“I gave it to Kuroo.”
“You did? That was nice of you to share, but you know it’s supposed to be all for you, yes?”
“You always pack too much, and Kuro was hungry. He only ever eats bread.”
“Well, I guess it is tough when it’s just him and his dad now. Maybe we should help out?”
“We?”
“It’s about time you start making your own lunches now, and since you’re so worried, you can make a bento for Kuroo-kun as well.” This is met with much grumbling from her son, but the next morning finds her bleary-eyed son with her in the kitchen.
They work together quietly and efficiently, making the bentos for not only the boys but her husband as well. They’ve just finished up and about to wrap everything up when Kenma catches her sneaking a piece of paper into his dad’s lunch.
“What was that?”
“Just a little note for your dad,” she says as she finishes tying up the furoshiki.
“…you write Dad notes?”
“Of course, it’s nice, and he really likes them.”
“You don’t leave me notes,” She can’t help but giggle at her son’s pout.
“I was afraid that they wouldn’t be appreciated now that you’re in high school and all,” she gives him a peck on the check before continuing, “but I would love to add a note for you if you want one.”
Kenma hums in agreement, “Nothing too sappy though.”
She can’t help but laugh, “Course not, nothing too sappy for my little grumpy cat.” She playful squeezes his cheeks before grabbing another sticky note for his lunch.
“What about Kuro?”
“Wouldn’t it mean more coming from you? You did make him his lunch.”
“Mom, please, that would be embarrassing.”
“Fine, fine, all my boys will get a note from Mom.”
She quickly scribbles a message for each teen and tucks it in before Kenma can see what she wrote.
“Now off you go, I’m sure Kuro-kun is waiting for you.”
“Thanks, Mom.”
________________________________
It had been slightly embarrassing giving Kuro his bento outside the house, but he thinks he was able to play it off as “no big deal.” And he did make Kuro swear on his life to not gloat about it in front of anyone at school.
Later as they sat together to eat their lunches, Kenma pulled out the note from his mom, a mildly embarrassing ‘I’m so proud of you.’ He was softly smiling to himself when Kuro all but choked on his food at his note.
“What? What is it?”
“Nothing, nothing, just wasn’t expecting a note from your mom.”
“Uh-huh. Let me see it,” he swiped it out from Kuroo’s hand before he could pull it away. ‘You’re truly loved Kuroo-kun, treasure him’.
Kenma all but screeched at the message.
“I’ll be honest, of all the ways I expected getting a love note from you, I never thought it would be written for you by your mom.”
“Wha- why would I write you a love note?”
“Cause, you love me.”
“Do not.”
“Do too.”
“I don’t.” Kenma looked down to allow his hair to cover his blush.
“You do,” Kuro pushes his hair behind his ear, and taps his chin to make Kenma look at him. “Tomorrow, will you write it instead?”
“Ok.”

"K - RETURN OF KINGS" (Novel)
CHAPTER 13: THE END OF THE DREAM
* List of Chapters
Translation: Naru-kun Raws: Ridia
As he ran through the dark passage, something bright opened again.
It was similar to the space where Mishakuji was located, but it was even higher in the ceiling and with countless huge cylinders. There was even a strict air, like an ancient Greek temple.
As he ran through the pillars, Shiro thought of Kuro whom he had left just now.
(Kuro. I believe in you.)
Mishakuji Yukari is a strong enemy. Perhaps his power will even reach the king. Facing the blade, Shiro did not confirm whether Kuro could win alone.
That's why he believes in him. That's the only thing Shiro can do.
At this moment, multiple members of the "Jungle" clan appeared from the front.
"There they are! Don't let them pass!"
The muzzle turned there at once. Looking at them, Neko who was running next to him, murmured.
"They won't defeat me!"
With the spirit, Neko drew a zigzag path, lowering herself like a four-legged beast. She jumped into the air and decided to drop the heel to the main Clansman.
"This is...!"
Other Clansmen quickly take the distance and aimed at Neko. However, they couldn't catch her literally jumping like a cat, and she was just thrown away.
At this moment, Neko's eyes were shining, and the sound of the bell echoed.
"Take this!"
"Jungle Attack!"
The Clansmen held their weapons and began to hit each other. Neko's reconnaissance operation skill and ability. Neko watched the Clansmen using their weapons to hit each other, and was satisfied.
"Neko!"
Shiro ran again as he called after her. There isn't much time left. They have to get to the "Slate" as soon as possible.
And...
Shiro suddenly saw that something strange was placed between the pillars.
A tatami with six mats. Kitchen with an old refrigerator. Various plaques in the Chabudai.
The appearance of a room, as if a family lived there, was left in a solemn underground space.
"......"
Hisui Nagare also has friends. The opponent has something that can be called family.
The fact that he knew sank into his chest.
But he can't stop. Hisui Nagare has a wish, and Shiro also has his own wish. That's completely understandable too. If there was something that could not be certified, there was only one thing to do.
Shiro and Neko arrived there.
A gigantic stone disk placed carelessly on the ground, the "Dresden Slate".
A relic that brings innovation and confusion to humanity.
And, as if to protect him, a solitary bird was there.
"It's here! It's here!"
The parrot made a sound. He had seen that parrot several times. He is a messenger of the "Green King" named Kotosaka.
Then, the young man with Kotosaka on his shoulder slowly stood up.
"...Hisui Nagare."
Hearing Shiro's words, the young "Green King" Hisui Nagare smiled silently. Neko nodded and snuggled into Shiro.
Nagare looked at him and silently opened his mouth.
"First King, Adolf K. Weismann, Isana Yashiro. Welcome."
+++++++++++
Mishakuji gently narrowed his eyes as his sword flickered slowly.
Kuro's sword in front of him doesn't seem to be as shaken as before. Unfazed by Mishukaji's brilliant move, he is trying to discern the true nature of him.
Mishakuji freely admired that state.
"Good. Although it contains great power, it is as calm as the surface of a lake. I can see your growth."
In response, Kuro replied in a low voice.
"...I've finally begun to see it too. It may seem like your sword can change shape, but there is a core running through it. The core that sustains the strength."
Mishakuji chuckled and readjusted his "Ayamachi".
"It's a strange destiny. Although we grew up under the same "king", we each received different "kings" and now our paths cross this way. It's wonderful."
Once upon a time, when they were wielding swords together under the tutelage of Miwa Ichigen, did they ever think that something like this would happen?
At the very least, it is true that the current Kuro has become an attractive enemy. There aren't many people he wants to kill from the bottom of his heart.
Mishakuji was happy about that, regardless of his morals or his feelings.
"I guess it's time we found our King. Let's get started, Kuro-chan."
Mishakuji pointed the tip at Kuro, as if he was swearing.
"My sword is to fulfill the sincerest wish of the "Green King"."
Kuro also pointed the tip of "Kotowari" towards Mishakuji and muttered to himself.
"And I, to fulfill the wish of the "Silver King"."
+++++++++++
"Oraaaaaaaaah, but what?!"
Yata was running the entire time, letting out a roar.
The map that was informed to him in advance has long since been forgotten by him. That's not to say he was running blindly. Yata already knew the coordinates he had to reach. The "warmth" he feels from Anna's supernatural network is directly beneath the presence of his friends.
But before he gets there, he will have to go through a maze.
From the darkness along the corridors, behind the barricades, from the walkways, members of the "Jungle" clan began to emerge. They really were a nuisance. Yata swung his staff to deflect the bullets they fired, smashing them, jumping over their bodies and moving forward.
"Yata-chan, have you arrived yet?"
"Yata-san, hurry up...!"
Yata's frustration increased as he received communications from Kusanagi and Kamamoto. He shouted, gritting his teeth and punching the members of the "Jungle" clan.
"I'm so excited that I keep running as fast as I can! Just wait a little longer!"
Anna's supernatural network also shares his sense of sight and hearing. Yata was well aware of the burden his late arrival placed on everyone else. Yata forced himself to take a breath, which was about to run out, and accelerated even more.
"Alright."
Suddenly, he heard that voice.
"I believe in Misaki."
He felt as if Anna's direct gaze was fixed on Yata.
Hearing that, Yata laughed. He thought to himself as he emitted flames from the tip of the staff.
(King believes in me. If I don't answer, it will be a lie!)
The staff slammed into the wall, leaving a trail of flames in the darkness. Even more clansmen wait beyond the toppled and exploded wall. Yata stood up and stared at them.
"I am Yata Misaki, captain of the "Homura" vanguard! Stay away unless you want to die!"
+++++++++++
The unrest on the ground was already calming down.
The defeat of the "Gray King" had a great impact on the morale of the Green Clan members, and most of them retreated to their hideouts or were unable to escape and were captured by "Scepter 4". Some began to surrender voluntarily, showing no signs of resistance. Many people on the ground have probably already made up their minds. However, Awashima's expression never cleared up.
"Captain..."
Reisi Munakata was looking towards the "hideout" when she called out to him with concern.
Blue sparks scattered intermittently on his back. An uncontrollable supernatural ability causes a short circuit, which manifests as a visible anomaly.
Without turning around, Munakata said to Awashima.
"...Awashima-kun. When the time comes, don't hesitate."
Awashima bit her lip and looked up at the sky.
A broken "Sword of Damocles" hovered directly above Munakata. Like Munakata's body, it emits numerous sparks and blue aura crystals constantly break off and disappear into thin air.
It wouldn't have been strange if it fell at any moment.
Awashima looked at him and put her hand on the hilt of her own saber. Pain, sadness, despair. He kept all those emotions inside her heart and thought.
(Just do what you have to do.)
All the other members noticed Awashima's deadly expression. Before they knew it, they were watching Awashima and their "King" from afar. No matter how fate turns out, they want to see it with their own eyes.
Then only one person noticed it.
The "Gray King", Tenkei Iwafune, who was lying on the ground, suddenly disappeared.
He maybe he used some supernatural ability, or maybe he crawled with all his might. The only person who noticed that was Gouki Zenjo, who silently closed his eyes and muttered to himself.
"...At least he has a place to die."
+++++++++++
His first impression was that he was a much younger man than he had imagined.
To awaken the "Slate" and encourage innovation in humanity. He was a delicate and gentle man who did not seem willing to commit such a scandalous act. If he had not been surrounded by a powerful aura, perhaps he would not have been able to believe in him or even now.
The "Green King", who was connected to the "Slate", silently opened his mouth.
"Honestly, I didn't expect you to go this far. As expected."
"Because I also have a will."
Hisui Nagare tilted his head slightly at Shiro's response. In a regretful tone, he said...
"I'm your fan... that is, I'm a fan of the "Silver King" that you used to be. I have great empathy with the feelings you once confided to the "Slate". Do you want to join hands with me?"
Shiro shook his head without hesitation.
"I'm sorry, but I'll have to reject you again."
"...Now that I think about it, you didn't answer me why last time either."
"That..."
Just as he was about to speak, Neko suddenly stepped forward and stuck out her tongue.
"Bleh, no! Shiro won't be your friend!"
Kotosaka, who remained on Nagare's shoulder, replied in a sharp voice.
"Shut up, you stupid cat!"
"Shut up, you idiot bird!"
Neko and Kotosaka looked at each other, growling and threatening each other.
"Ameno Miyabi."
Suddenly, Nagare called out to her.
Neko trembled. Hisui Nagare guards her true identity, the absolute secret that Neko tried to hide. Neko was afraid of that more than anything.
"Like me, you experienced the Kagutsu Incident. You are one of the few people who survived that tragedy."
Nagare easily revealed his true identity.
"Just as I woke up as a "King" when the "Red King" caused a burst of royal power, you also gained power and became Strain. And just as I lost my life, you manipulated your own memories and ended up living like a cat. We two are people from whom the "Slate" stole everything... and we got everything new."
Shiro looked at Neko.
Neko didn't exchange glances with Shiro, she just grabbed him tightly by the sleeve.
"In the course of life, people encounter many irrational situations. What matters is whether or not you can resist that irrational fate. Do you have that power? We encountered the Kagutsu Incident, but we overcame it with the power that gave us the "Slate". People should have the power to protect themselves and pave their way. The "Slate" will give them that."
Shiro flatly denied that theory.
"No. The power of the "Slate" is too much for humans to possess."
Nagare also immediately replied.
"Why? Don't you believe in people? If so, I'm disappointed. I'm disillusioned. You used to believe in people's potential more than anyone else."
"That's not true! I..."
"I don't understand!"
Only a little.
The discussion was interrupted by Neko's words.
Biting her lip and suppressing her fear, Neko still kept her eyes fixed on Nagare. She thought slowly and, as she did, she opened her mouth.
"I don't understand what you're saying. But Wagahai doesn't need a "Slate". Shiro, Kurosuke and everyone else can do without that!"
"...Neko."
"Whoever it is, even if I'm a monster, I'll never disappear just because of that. So, I'm fine with that. That's all I need! I don't need anything else!"
"......"
"There have been bad things in the past and I think there will be more in the future. But what I want right now is not a "Slate". It's delicious food and someone who will eat it with me. That's what Wagahai wants!"
Tears welled up in Neko's eyes.
What is her "true identity"? Shiro still doesn't know.
He probably doesn’t need to know. Unless Neko wants them to know, there's no need to pry. What Shiro and Kuro want is the "Neko" of now, who is innocent and full of emotion.
Taking Neko's hand, Shiro looked at Nagare and said...
"Hisui Nagare. What people need is not a "Slate". It's just it... that's right. A chabudai. That's enough. That's my conclusion. The choice of the "Silver King"."
After a while of silence, Nagare suddenly said...
"...What a pity."
"Nagare! Don't be disappointed! Nagare!"
Encouraged by Kotosaka, Nagare smiled a little. He looked at Shiro and said...
"So... let me ask you something. Why did you come here, "Silver King"?"
"I came to destroy the "Slate"."
A slight sneer emerged from Nagare's smile.
"How? You should be the most aware of the physical strength of the "Slate". I would like to add that I will not let you touch it again."
In an instant, a green light illuminated Nagare's chest. In the blink of an eye, it enveloped his entire body, manifesting as an aura so powerful that he could feel it on his skin.
"I guess so..."
When he replied in a low voice, the slight sneer that had been mixed into Nagare's expression disappeared. Along with his warning, the green shrine that Nagare uses became even more intense.
"Now I can connect with the "Slate" and absorb its power inexhaustibly. If I feel like it, "Silver King", I can use your "immutable" power and my "alterable" power. I can overwrite it and even kill you. I am invincible."
"......"
"Still, you are resisting, "Silver King"."
"If you were me, would you give up?"
Nagare narrowed his eyes and kicked the wheelchair back.
That was the end of the story. From now on, it was not the time for conversation, but for beliefs and fist bumps.
+++++++++++
Anna was the first to notice.
As the "Red Queen", she has a sensory capacity that far exceeds that of a Strain. Her higher perceptive powers sensed the existence of "it" before it manifested.
She turned her gaze toward the sky as if to check. In her field of vision, which only reflected red, "It" tried to take shape, not as a color, but as a figure colored by an aura.
''Silver'' and ''Green'', the two ''Swords of Damocles''.
Anna understood exactly what that meant. The two kings, Isana Yashiro and Hisui Nagare, finally met.
Slowly, impatience crept up her spine.
In a head-on confrontation, the probability of Shiro defeating Nagare is zero. In theory, no one could beat Nagare, who can draw unlimited energy from the ''Slate''.
There is no more grace left. If they don't carry out the plan immediately...
At this moment, the marble that Kamamoto was holding emitted a red glow.
"Anna! It's here, it's the signal!"
Anna gritted her teeth. Her excellent sensory ability felt that "it was not like this yet". All the marbles are not in the correct position yet.
At that moment, Yata and Kusanagi's screams echoed through the network.
"We're almost there! Just do it!"
"Anna, do it!"
She closed her eyes, she gave a sigh and when she opened her eyelids again, her doubts had already dissipated. She broadcast the proclamation of her as "King" to the supernatural network.
"From now on, we will gather all the power of the Red Clan and open the "way"...!"
A bright red aura came out from her folded arms. The aura turned into a flame, a shrine, and spread towards the clansmen like flames spreading across the plains.
Anna felt a burning sensation on her neck as the fourth "Sword of Damocles" appeared above her head.
Kamamoto, who was next to her, clenched his fist and shouted.
"No Blood!"
Kusanagi, who was deep underground, laughed in fighting spirit.
"No Bone!"
Yata, who was further down, ran with determination in his heart.
"No Ash!"
At their respective stations, the clan members (Akagi, Bando, Chitose, Dewa, Eric, and Fujishima) expressed their thoughts and threw the marbles in their hands.
Anna could see it in her eyes. Her eyes, which only recognize the color red, were able to see through "Homura's" red color through space. The red dots were connected in a straight line, forming a straight line.
She should have already abandoned her doubts. She knew she had to do it.
Still, she couldn't help but wonder if she could do it.
That flame. That red. The power of the King. Is it possible for her to control it?
(Will I be able to achieve things like that person?)
A few seconds of coma. The question that ran through Anna's mind, however, disappeared in the next moment. Someone was behind her.
It wasn't Kamamoto. Neither do the other members of the clan. His presence was clearly felt even from a distance.
Furthermore, the person behind Anna was much bigger than them. A bright, warm, soft and beautiful red.
Anna watched, unblinking, as his hand reached over her shoulder and took hers.
Anna's lips parted. Her voice overlapped with that of the man behind her, echoing her words.
"Burn them!"
The flames on both arms enveloped the marble in the air, as if it had a will. The exploding supernatural flame penetrated the ground and caused the marbles on the ground to explode, expanding further and swallowing the marbles below, increasing its power by doubling each time it was chained together. A huge column of fire engulfed everything from the first floor of the basement to the tenth floor of the basement, burning it to the ground.
Anna could see that enormous column of fire.
The flame of the King that she created with the power of all.
Anna looked back.
However, there was no one there. The shadow of his tall figure, the warmth she felt, the smile on his lips, nothing. There was no trace of his existence left there.
Instead, Munakata's face loomed near the exit from the ground.
Seeing a hint of pain in his eyes, Anna knew that Munakata had seen the same thing as her.
She met Munakata's eyes. Anna nodded slightly and lowered her eyes.
Then, remembering the man who was behind her at the end, Anna laughed a little.
+++++++++++
The sound of an explosion echoed in the distance, and Nagare recognized it simply as the sound of a battle.
In various parts of the "secret base", clan members "Jungle" and "Homura" fight fierce battles. Naturally, the weapons given to the clan members included bombs, so he thought that was the reason.
By the time he realized that was different, it was too late.
The sound of explosions echoed at regular intervals, getting closer and louder. When he gasped and looked up, a waterfall-like flame had already broken through the ceiling and was falling onto the "Slate".
The roaring stream of flames engulfed Nagare's body and licked the entire hall. Kotosaka jumped into the air and the others deployed a supernatural shield to block the flames.
Nagare was the only one who was directly exposed to the flames.
If he were a normal person, he wouldn't have been left with even a speck of dust. Even a normal "King" would not have been able to survive unscathed.
Of course, Nagare was none of those things.
"Is this your plan?"
Despite being exposed to the inferno that was still pouring out, Nagare did not suffer a single burn.
Nagare said with a sigh.
"I am deeply disappointed. What is the point of doing something like this?"
He thought that Isana Yashiro's intelligence was on par with his, so he didn't want to think that such a foolish plan was a trump card. If he truly believed that Nagare could be defeated with the supporting fire of the "Red Queen", then he was no longer even a person to talk to.
And Shairo did not disappoint Nagare's expectations.
"...The path is already made."
"Path?"
Nagare looked up again at the words he murmured.
He could see the blue sky.
Nagare stopped breathing. The blue sky, the white of the clouds. And floating there, swords of various colors.
He felt as if his electromagnetic heart was beating rapidly.
"Perhaps..."
"That's right."
The light of determination shone in Shiro's eyes. Determined to overcome or crush the difficulties before them by any means necessary. The formula for this already exists within Shiro.
In a lower voice, Shiro spoke of the method.
"I will destroy the "Slate" with a "Damocles Down"."
+++++++++++
Mishakuji Yukari had never thought that his sword was as beautiful as it was now.
A flash of "excess" released from an impossible angle, free and flexible, is truly art. Mishakuji views his swordsmanship that way, not as a boast, but as a fair evaluation. A human-like swordsman who steps forward as if he were dancing and wields his sword as if in full bloom will not be able to take a single hit.
Yes. If you do not have the proper skill in using the sword, you will never be able to bring out the beauty of the sword.
That's why Mishakuji loudly praised his opponent.
"That's amazing, Kuro-chan! You've become so strong. You're almost on par with me now!"
Yes. Yatogami Kuro also became more beautiful than he had ever seen before.
Firm and solid as a rock, no matter how unexpected the blow, "Kotowari" will absorb it and unleash a devastating counterattack. His eyes never waver, always fixed on Mishakuji.
Ah, Mishakuji thought, with a tingle.
(I wish this moment could last forever!)
However, the reality is that that is not the case. Mishakuji knew this better than anyone.
The elevated "Ayamachi" and the lower "Kotowari" crossed each other. The surrounding auras repel each other, producing sparks and a sizzle.
Mishakuji smiled charmingly as he used one hand to relieve the pressure of his spit.
"But right now, you can't just be even. If you don't surpass me, you won't be able to go to your "King"!"
"Kuh..."
Biting his lip in frustration, Kuro shifted his grip slightly. When he released the amount of pressure that had been loosened, Kuro flexibly withdrew and readied his sword again.
Mishakuji raised his voice as he made his sword dance gracefully with just one hand.
"Come, show me!"
At that moment two lights exploded.
Silver and green. He could know it without seeing it, because it is the light of his King.
"That's from Nagare-chan."
The appearance of the "Sword of Damocles" meant that Isana Yashiro and Hisui Nagare were at war.
That in itself stirred no emotion in Mishakuji. If those two fight, Nagare will definitely win. There was no way that his "Green King", who was connected to the "Slate", would be defeated, no matter how many conditions were combined.
So what surprised Mishakuji was Kuro's reaction.
He took something out of his pocket. It is a single coin that shines silver. Gripping his tightly, Kuro muttered.
"That's right. My sword is to my King, Shiro. As long as I'm with him..."
Along with the coin, Kuro grabbed the hilt of his sword and silently looked at Mishakuji.
Mishakuji was impressed by that look. His eyes are like the surface of a calm lake, without haste or hesitation, just a determination hidden deep inside.
Kuro declared happily, mirroring Mishukaji in his incredibly deep eyes.
"Mishakuji Yukari. I will surpass you!"
Mishakuji let out a sigh and laughed.
The current Kuro is the strongest Kuro to date.
Yatogami Kuro is not Mishakuji Yukari. He operates with a completely different logic than Mishakuji, who acts freely and selfishly.
Kuro demonstrates his ultimate power for the sake of the King. For his Lord. It's for someone important.
That's why Kuro was the strongest at that time. To save the "King" who is in trouble, run to his side as soon as possible and defeat the enemy in front of him. He will expend all of his life force for that purpose.
Mishakuji couldn't help but be happy about that. He considers the last-minute exchanges of life and the brilliance of will that emerges to be the most beautiful of all.
Kuro kicked the ground.
Unconsciously, Mishakuji also started running.
Rounding to ''Kotowari''. Preventing, in return, he pushed "Ayamachi", repelling him. Sparks fly from tip to tip and the pressure on the blade emits light. A deadly dance with two swords, a thin line between life and death as if they were playing. As if he were playing in a paradise, Mishakuji was captivated by the moment.
And then, the end came without a hitch.
Kuro intervened. Two steps, three steps, the speed far exceeded Mishakuji's expectations. As he raised the spirit of division, he turned, as if half of his body was immersed in it.
Before he knew it, the "Kotowari" sword had pierced Mishakuji's chest.
''Ayamachi'' flew through the air and rolled on the concrete making a sound.
Before he could think of anything, the words came pouring out.
"That was beautiful..."
He collapsed and fell to his knees. Fever and pain from his shoulder to his chest. He could feel the blood dripping and coming out of his fingers.
His fingertips could still move, meaning he could still grasp the sword.
But he wasn't going to do that.
The decision has already been made.
This is the first time he has been defeated since he pointed his sword at Ichigen Miwa. He couldn't bear to see that great swordsman slowly lose his life to illness. He wanted to see his life burn in the midst of battle. So he doesn't regret what he did.
And now...
At this moment, his youngest disciple, who could only tremble, was about to surpass him. Mishakuji felt quiet satisfaction in the fact that no one else had cut him except the man who had inherited Miwa's technique.
His feet were shaking. Someone is fighting somewhere. Kuro looked towards the end of the hallway with an impatient expression on his face.
"Damn, it's started!"
Mishakuji muttered under his breath.
"...Kill me. And go quickly to your king."
Then, Mishakuji closed his eyes.
There was a pause.
Mishakuji opened his eyelids at the sound of the doorbell.
When he looked, he saw that Kuro had sheathed his sword.
Before Mishakuji could say anything, Kuro stared at him.
"In the fields and mountains the color may differ, but we are like noni seeds."
Yes, he recited a poem.
Mishakuji rolled his eyes. He remembers the poet Miwa's haikus without missing a single word. However, what Kuro said was...
"...I don't know that poem."
"It's my poem... Goodbye."
Without saying anything, Kuro turned his back on him and started running.
Mishakuji looked at his back in shock. The only thing he could do was record a single phrase and follow in the footsteps of his younger brother.
When he looked down silently, a slight smile appeared on his lips.
"Are you looking, Ichigen-sama? That child has finally become a full-fledged person."
He then he got up. Stumbling, he picked up "Ayamachi" and gently placed it in his holster. The time to exercise that will not come for some time. Now that all the battles are reaching their final stages, there probably isn't much he can do.
But that doesn't mean there's nothing.
"Now... the least I can do is get a new seed."
Mishakuji muttered that and started walking in the opposite direction of Kuro, looking for the stairs that led to the top.
+++++++++++
The great hall was engulfed in flames.
The breath of the "Red Queen" blew from above, completely burning multiple armor plates and leaving large holes. In the distance you can see a blue sky and a sparkling silver tip.
Nagare turned to Shiro and glared at him.
"Are you crazy? Damocles Down..."
Shiro accepted that look head on.
"It's the only way to destroy the "Slate". Neither me, nor the "Golden King". Another person involved in "The Beginning" told me this option."
"Are you planning to turn this into a crater?!"
No, Nagare denied his own words. If Tokyo is caught in the "burst of royal power", it will not simply become a crater. The swords of all the "kings" present there could fall together. Their power is not just a metaphor, but it would be worthy of destroying this planet.
For a moment, Nagare doubted Shiro's character, wondering if he was trying to negotiate with the world itself as a hostage. But he shook his head slowly.
"Concentrate the enormous energy of the "Damocles Down" in a single point. According to the Second Methodology of the Schwert Regulation, it will cause a Hammer Resonance Effect. After calculating the degree of resistance of the "Slate", I discovered that its limit value, was theoretically the same as "Damocles Down". When certain conditions are met, the "Slate" and the "Sword of Damocles" will only annihilate each other.''
Nagare opened his eyes.
He only had a little experience with Schwert's control methodology. Weismann's deviation, the source of supernatural powers, and his crystal, the "Sword of Damocles", are normally phenomena that not even the "King" can do anything about. Although it can be observed, it is impossible to intervene, and the only way to prevent it from happening is to end the King's life. That was the conclusion of the first methodology.
However, the second method proposes another way.
Nagare punched the air. The hologram image that appeared instantly, along with dozens of data, showed that his prediction was correct.
"Impossible! He is pushing his own Weismann level to the limit!"
What the Schwert Control/Second Methodology proposes is that the "King" can voluntarily cross the critical point of the Weismann deviation. By deliberately dropping the largest energy body, the "Sword of Damocles", the power from it becomes directional. In that case, "Damocles Down" transmits energy as "penetration", rather than "diffusion".
The "Silver" Sanctuary is expanding. No reservations, no restrictions, to the point that even Nagare, who was directly connected to the "Slate", was overwhelmed. A dazzling silver glow overflowed from the hand that Shiro had placed on his chest, and in contrast, his expression began to distort in agony.
"Shiro?!"
Neko next to him huddled worried. However, Shiro forced a smile and looked at Nagare.
"What do you think, Hisui Nagare? Don't you think this is some kind of message?"
"What...?"
"The "Slate" can only be destroyed when the "King" releases the sword of his own will. I don't know who he is, but it seems to me that someone who created the "Slate" is saying that."
He closed his eyes in silence and connected the words.
"If it is too much for you, you must destroy it with your own hands."
"I will not leave you!"
Nagare released all the power of him.
A green aura enveloped his entire body and a ferocious momentum coursed through his body. Nagare roared as he tilted his body downwards.
"Looking at Suouh Mikoto's case, it takes less than 10 seconds from the start of the fall to reach the underground! If I kill you before, the sword will disappear!"
Shiro slowly opened his eyes.
"...Try it."
The value indicating the Weismann deviation in the image exceeded the critical value.
The fall began.
Before he could confirm that, Nagare had attacked Shiro. An extremely fast, lightning-like strike aimed at the throat of the "Silver King".
A red Japanese umbrella blocked his fingers.
"Grr...!"
The two auras, silver and green, collide and annihilate each other while emitting a shockwave. Shiro who rules "immutability" is dedicating all of his power to defense. Even though Nagare was directly connected to the "Slate" and gained infinite energy, it took him three seconds to break it.
The Japanese umbrella broke into thousands of pieces and the pieces flew into the air.
Shiro's body was also swept away by the shock wave like a strong wind and fell to the ground. Now that he was helpless, Nagare pounced on him like an animal.
"This is the end!"
A fist that turned into electricity pierced Shiro's abdomen. Nagare's imagination of burning his internal organs and his spinal cord and killing him along with his life did not come true.
Shiro's appearance dispersed like mist, melting into the air and disappearing.
(Ability to recognize and manipulate!)
It took him two seconds to remember those words and find Neko trembling in his arms. 5 seconds left. It was more than enough. The "Silver King" has already exhausted his power. It takes less than a second to destroy the defenseless Strain.
Lightning claws fell on the two from above.
A single swing of the sword blocked him head-on.
Yatogami Kuro. He grabbed the hilt of his sword with both hands and gritted his teeth to block Nagare's attack.
Through the space between his clenched teeth, he shouted the name of his "King" with a voice that sounded like a roar.
"Shiro...!"
Nagare frowned.
Yatogami Kuro is there. He stopped trying to think about what that meant. Now is not the time to think. That happened a long time ago. Now is the time to finish them off.
"You're in the way!"
At the same time as he shouted, the pressure of his supernatural ability increased even more. However, that prediction that only one clan member's sword would break for no reason turned out to be wrong once again.
It did not break. The sword held by Kuro, his colorless steel, still withstood the full force of the "King".
A silver aura enveloped that figure.
Taking a deep breath, Nagare looked over Kuro's shoulder.
Isana Yashiro woke up and enveloped Neko and Kuro in a silver shrine.
In that last moment of collision of destructive power, what passed through Nagare's mind was not impatience, but doubt.
"How? Why? They reject power, how can they be so strong?!"
Kuro, Neko and Shiro's eyes were staring at Nagare. The six eyes told him that if they fight, they would never lose.
At that moment, Nagare wanted to turn around.
Shiro, the reason they were there.
Why aren't the clan members who were supposed to be there to stop them?
Mishakuji Yukari, Sukuna Gojou, Kotosaka, Iwafune Tenkei.
For a moment, he could see them sitting around a tea table in their six-tatami "secret base," talking, fighting and laughing together.
At this moment, he suddenly exhaled.
A shock ran through his heart.
"......!"
He has been dreaming about that for many years. Life outside the straitjacket. Breathe freely and fly around the world.
That was the heart. If you have the heart, you can do it. The dead can return to the living and fulfill the wishes of those who also died. Extraordinary abilities for all humans. The power to resist. Be king.
The heart that had heard his prayers was pierced by a sword.
Nagare learned that not through observation but through actual experience. A silver slash pierced Nagare's stone heart. The blood of the supernatural was spilled and the life that was supposed to have been recovered returned to nothing.
His knees buckled and he fell to the ground.
Hisui Nagare looked at the sky through his falling hair. An open well and the blue sky beyond.
The "Sword of Damocles" floating there disappeared.
Nagare murmured hoarsely.
"How unfortunate..."
Then, Nagare turned his gaze towards Shiro.
The tension and caution had not yet left them. That was annoying and Nagare smiled slightly. Nagare silently closed his eyes and said:
"But I'm satisfied..."
Those were the last words that the ''Green King'' Hisui Nagare said.
+++++++++++
It was certainly visible to others.
After the silver sword fell and a shock and tremor resounded, the “Swords of Damocles” floating in the sky vanished one after another.
The test of being king, the crystal of supernatural power. It was in the heaven that he could not reach, even if he stretched out his hand, and it was about to disappear without him reaching it.
The "Red Queen" stared at that.
The sword, a symbol of the destiny that took from her family, but that also brought her something so precious, disappeared. At the same time, something inside her slowly...
"That disappeared..."
The words that Kamamoto murmured were also Anna's voice.
Disappear. The things that had bound them until now. The things that have brought them together until now. That will disappear.
Anna suddenly felt like someone was calling her and looked around her.
But she couldn't find it anywhere. That warmth and that beautiful red are no longer anywhere.
Feeling alone, Anna looked down and closed her eyes.
The "Blue King" watched the situation unfold with his usual calm.
Therefore, even when his "Sword of Damocles", a cracked symbol of power that seemed about to crumble, disappeared, he had no particular feeling about it. However, he simply said...
"It seems my life has been spared."
That's all she said.
However, Awashima, who was behind him, looked different. She dropped the saber she was holding and ran towards Munakata's back.
"Captain!"
Awashima was crying. Relief and joy are on all their faces. Munakata saw that, smiled slightly, and said casually.
"Hehe. I was a little curious to see if you could kill me, Awashima-kun. Anyway, thanks for your hard work."
At those words, something disappeared from Awashima's expression.
Before Munakata's clear mind could formulate a response, Awashima opened her mouth to ask what that was.
"Captain. I'm sorry, but gratitude is not enough."
"Eh?"
"Excuse me!"
Awashima's fist slammed into Munakata's cheek, sending his glasses flying and sending them crashing to the ground.
+++++++++++
"Nagare! Nagare!"
Kotosaka descended and screamed in pain next to Nagare.
However, Nagare did not move. With a satisfied smile on his face, he lay on the cold ground, not moving in the slightest. The fierce energy that had overflowed a moment ago could no longer be felt anywhere.
Kuro asked, still not letting his guard down.
"Is he dead?"
Shiro looked down in pain and responded.
"He survived thanks to the power of the "Slate". That's why..."
Those words were drowned out by the sudden sound of an explosion.
All three were hit by tremors that made it difficult for them to even stand. A low, resounding explosion sound echoed and deafened their ears. Kuro and Neko shouted in unison as they helped Shiro, who has become unstable.
"What is happening?!"
"Meow! Earthquake!"
In response to the clan member's dismay, Shiro remained calm. He looked up at the shaking ceiling and muttered to himself.
"No, someone blew it up."
"Ah. I'm sorry, but I have to fix things."
"What?!"
Kuro held his "Kotowari" in the direction of the voice. It was a familiar voice, and its owner was the one to be careful of along with Nagare.
"Gray King", Tenkei Iwafune.
He slowly walked out from behind the pillar. Blood flowed under his feet. Iwafune muttered with a self-deprecating smile on his mortal face.
"I never expected that situation to change... it was a complete defeat."
"...Kuro."
Without Shiro telling him, Kuro lowered his sword. Iwafune already lost his fighting power. No, he may already be on the verge of losing his life.
However, Iwafune showed no signs of worrying about his situation and simply said:
"I have also ordered my clansmen to flee. You should leave too."
The sounds of the explosion were getting louder. Small pieces of concrete fell from the cracked ceiling. Kotosaka flew away while he avoided them and shouted alongside Iwafune.
"Iwa-san! Iwa-san! Nagare is...! Iwa-san!"
With a weak smile on his blood-stained lips, Iwafune looked at Kotosaka with a gentle gaze.
"Haha. You too, Kotosaka. Now. Go!"
Kuro had no way of knowing what Kotosaka was thinking.
He hesitated for a moment and then flew away with a sad cry. From the hole in the ceiling to the clear blue sky. As if he was chasing him, Kuro also stretched out his colorless hand and jumped, holding Neko and Shiro in his arms.
Just before reaching the top, Kuro looked back for a moment.
Iwafune held Nagare in his arms and looked at him. His lips, with a wide smile, uttered some words.
He couldn't hear him. Kuro and his friends went up. Iwafune looked at Nagare with his eyes closed as if he were sleeping.
The explosive smoke enveloped the figures of the two "Kings", and since then nothing could be seen.
That was the scene at the end of the battle between the Kings.
+++++++++++
Amidst the roar of explosions and tremors, Kusanagi stood alone, staring at his feet.
"We won?"
Through Anna's supernatural network, he had already given an evacuation order. Most of the clan members in "Homura" should have been able to escape safely. Still, his role as Senior Official of the Reds was to wait until the last minute.
He still couldn't be sure what happened to the Silver Clan or the "Green King". They must be escaping alone, he thought, when he heard a voice behind him.
"Kusanagi-san! Let's run!"
It was Yata. Sliding his skateboard from the end of the hallway, he came straight toward him.
Kusanagi nodded silently and ran off with Yata. As Kusanagi headed towards the stairs leading to the upper floor, he couldn't help but ask Yata.
"What happened to Fushimi? Is everything okay?"
"Heh," Yata laughed. He looked back for a moment and then looked forward without hesitation.
"It's okay. It's okay now."
Kusanagi also laughed at his confident words. Yata-chan, who was good at running and going wild, had grown quite a bit. They ran together toward the light, feeling out of place.
Munakata's instructions were quick as tremors resonated from underground.
"All personnel, evacuate."
"Yes!"
Awashima accepted that and gave orders one after another through the intercom. It was supposed to be a normal scene from "Scepter 4", but the only difference was that Munakata's cheeks were very swollen and his glasses had gone somewhere.
The members running back and forth are surprised every time they see Munakata's face. However, Munakata's attitude was calm. After forcing themselves to accept that it was probably his fault, the members returned to their jobs.
At that moment he felt a presence behind him.
When he turned around, a man and a woman were about to appear, trying to get out from under the solid ground.
Douhan Hirasaka's "Wall Breaking Technique". Feeling satisfied that he was able to witness the ninja's skills, Munakata looked at Fushimi, who was being helped by her.
Fushimi had the same dull expression on his face as always. As expected, he felt tired, but he was not proud of having brought that operation to success. He simply said, as if nothing had happened.
"Mission accomplished."
"Thank you for your hard work."
Munakata responded as if nothing had happened and looked forward again.
+++++++++++
By the time they reached the ground, the noise of the impact had already subsided.
Kuro was the first to emerge from the sewer and, while helping Neko and Shiro, he quickly looked around.
It was an alley in the middle of nowhere. There were no members of the "Jungle" clan. Many people have already decided. Most likely they escaped or were captured.
Kuro breathed a sigh of relief. Just as he was about to say that they were safe, he stumbled and fell to his knees on the ground.
"Shiro?!"
"Are you okay?!"
He clutched his chest in pain and sat with his back against the wall. He looked at the worried Kuro and Neko and smiled weakly.
"It seems that I am also running out of strength..."
"What does that mean?!"
"The body I'm in is not my original body... Before the incident at Gakuenjima, the "Colorless King" changed our bodies... In other words, he was taking over the body of a strange boy."
Kuro and Neko gasped at the same time.
They knew it. Isana Yashiro is a temporary name and the current Shiro is not the original body of Adolf K. Weismann. Due to the plot of "Fox Mask", the mastermind behind the incident a year ago, he was trapped in his current body.
Shiro spoke breathlessly.
"I have been able to continue existing thanks to the immutable power of the "Silver King", but... that power has disappeared. Along with the "Slate"..."
"What? Hey!"
"What? Hey, Shiro!"
Kuro and Neko felt a horrible sense of loss at the same time.
If he was able to stay in this world thanks to the silver supernatural ability, what will happen to him now that the "Slate" is gone?
"I've been borrowing it for a long time, but I have to return it to the original owner..."
"That is...!"
"Shiro...!"
With tears streaming down her face, Neko took Shiro's hand. Shiro smiled slightly and squeezed Neko and Kuro's hands tightly.
His palm was warm.
"...It's okay. I will definitely come back. Because I am your king..."
After that, he closed his eyes as if he were sleeping.
A silver light came out of Shiro's body. He disappeared as if he melted into space, leaving nothing behind.
"Shiro!"
"Shiro, wake up! Answer me!"
As they clung to Shiro and called desperately to him, his shoulders suddenly moved.
"Ah..."
He stirred and slowly opened his eyes. Kuro opened his eyebrows and looked at Shiro's face with relief. He thought that he had regained consciousness and that he had not gone anywhere.
But it was different.
Shiro's gaze looking at Kuro was filled with fear and confusion. That is not the expression of Isana Yashiro that they know. Like a child who had never seen them before, he looked at Kuro and Neko's faces, and timidly opened his mouth.
"Who are you?"

A Premature Burial
Episode 2
Season: Winter
Characters: Kuro, Nazuna, Mika, Shu
Nazuna: Hm~? Speaking of which, Kagehira, I heard Itsuki called you over to his boarding house for something?
Has he done something horrible to you again? That guy~ If it’s really bad I’ll be filing a complaint, alright?
Mika: Nnah, Nazuna-nii—

Mika: Nnah~ Nnaaah~… But, I, I—
Nazuna: Don’t wail like a cat… There there~ What’s really the matter? You’re graduating soon aren’t you, you’re a big boy now~?
Mika: Achoo! But, Nazuna-nii~? This is real serious, it’s Oshisan’s grandad—
Kuro: Hmm? What happened to his pops? I heard that he’s been in bad shape and can’t get out of bed since last winter?
Mika: Ryu-kun-san ain’t heard anythin’? Ah, yer real distant now ain’t ya?
Um. I ain’t checked the facts yet but… Oshisan’s grandad has passed away.
Kuro: Aah?
Mika: It ain’t really my business, but he took care of me when I lived there too!
That’s why I hurried back fer the— f-funeral? To prepare fer it…!
Kuro: Ah~… Again?
Mika: Nnah? Whaddya mean a-again?
Kurou: No, I think it’s serious this time… But I can’t say anything that’s too careless.
All I know is that Itsuki’s pops has died— This is the 17th time.
Mika: Nnah…?
Nazuna: Ah~ It happened once when “Valkyrie” was just Itsuki and I as well.
I wasn’t well acquainted with Itsuki’s Grandad but from what I’d heard, he was a really mischievous guy. Apparently he pretended to die over and over again.
Mika: P-Pretended to die…? Eh…? Yer kiddin, why’d he do somethin’ like that?
Nazuna: Well… At least when I knew them, Itsuki’s family had already gotten used to it.
It seems like they were pretty tired of his antics. But Itsuki loved his grandad so much that he was the only one that would panic.
Kuro: That’s right~… I felt so sorry for him at first, being a kid I was considerate and consoled him with cheap sweets and stuff.
By the 5th time it started being a pain… When I heard it I would say stuff like “Really? How sad”.
Mika: Ehhh…?
Kuro: But if it’s serious this time, I won’t make any jokes, it’s better not to overthink it—Kagehira.
Itsuki too. The person he loves the most in the world is his pops, but he’s also the type of person to get tired in serious relationships.
Mika: …
Shu: (Yes. Well then, I’ll be on my way.)
(Yes. I understand that but—- just in case— Should something happen. It’s true that my grandfather is very old, and he has been in poor health since last winter.)
(That attention seeking old man flailing around and pretending to be confused as he would… I’d prefer it were a jest as such.)
(I’m going to return home temporarily to find out the truth myself. Yes, it’s still very cold, so be cautious of your own health too, landlord.)
(Well then, I should be going.)
(… Yes? Hm? What do you think?)
(Perhaps Kagehira mailed it— Ah, it might have been mixed in with my business partner’s luggage.)
(Yes. I mailed the works I made while I was at it… It could have been confused with the works that were originally in my atelier at the time.)
(Yes. I’ll have a look. Ah, no, it doesn’t belong to me.)
(Hmph. Originally my grandfather’s? In that case, instead of returning it here, if my grandfather really has passed away, perhaps it would be better to place it in front of his grave?)
(Hm, I should avoid that? It could start an argument? What could you possibly mean…?)
(I don’t quite understand, but I’ll comply. Yes. In that case, I really should be going.)
(…Good grief. My grandfather is known for his false alarms.)
(Such as the boy who cried wolf. However the last time I visited my grandfather, he was worn out, as though he were a completely different person—)
(This time, it’s possible…)
(How unpleasant. No matter how much time passes, I can’t get used to the thought of death.)
(If only everyone could become dolls.)
(Then I could display them forever in my undecaying kingdom.)
(………)
