As much as I loved the last ep,

There's some iSSUES.

1. Adam being like, kind of redeemed in a way? Like, no. No no. After everything he did, aND WAS DOING DURING THE RACE ITSELF, NO. NO NO NO NO NO NO NO.

2. Kiriko literally got pushed away by the end like she had no point and that sucks cause boi oh boi did I want some sexy kirkiko moments like wtf

3. Rekis childhood friend got brought up , and then never again, bUT my hope is if we get a season two they're saving him for that, cuz new plot and all

But regardless of all of that, I really loved the episode and I cried a lot, and the end scene where Langa monologues and Reki is referred to as his happiness was so beautiful.

My brain is still processing that episode bUT

I'm 99.99% certain knowing Reki he's already apologised to Miya and taken him to a cat cafe. Like, there's no way Reki wouldn't immediately try to make it up to his little brother as soon as possible when he finally got a better mental state.

So I'm just gonna think that Reki took Miya to a cat cafe and bought him a shit ton of cat plushies and apologized for his actions and Miya said "...fine I forgive you big bro."

Reki: what-

Miya: I SAID I FORGIVE YOU-

Reki: NONO THE SECOND PART

Miya: THERE WAS NO SECOND PART YOU SLIME SHUT UP

I see that a lot of people are saying it'll be queerbaiting if Reki and Langa don't kiss but there's other ways people can be canon without a direct smooch on the lips.

If two of your friends come up to you and say, "we're dating!" you wouldn't exactly tell them to kiss so they can prove it.

It's kind of the same for this situation, just because they may not kiss doesn't mean they're queerbaiting, but they could be able to show that Renga is canon in other ways.

A kiss between them would be adorable tho! But not the only way to make it canon, either way, I'm super excited for the episode 11 now! And I really hope Reki and Miya talk and Reki apologizes. I love them both and I just want them to have a healthy friendship. Communication is hard but it must be done.

Reki, with his inferiority complex: That's not exactly an achievement buddy.

I wanna just like discuss this please don't eat me Sk8 community I love Renga just as much as yall BUT,

I am kind of hoping they're setting us up for a second season and will improve Reki's sense of self worth and inferiority first.

Because right now, him dating Langa seems like, sO unhealthy because if you see your partner as higher than you that can be really dangerous and unhealthy, and that is exactly how Reki sees Langa right now, he feels inferior to him, he feels basically worthless compared to him. And as much as I love Reki, I don't think he'll be able to be rid of his inferiority complex within four episodes, because that's just unlikely, he's clearly very emotional and has dealt with this for most of his life. I don't think season 1 is a good season for them to get together canonly, so I am kind of in some hopes for a second season because they'd have more wiggle room there.

But that's just my thoughts on it! So again plz don't beat me up I love renga so much I do I swear 😭

Episode 9 Rambles because welcome back to Dabi loses her mind:

Reki getting so offended when people were dissing Langa please that's a boyfriend right there

THE MANS YELLED, HE WAS ANGY AND HE YELLED

Langa giving up but reki shouting his name made him go brr again and that's true love

JOE WHAT ARE YOU GOD DAMN THOSE MOVES

Langa I'm glad u weren't stupid in this episode by trying to recreate Joe's moves I love u

When the board ur bf made breaks so ur sad because "no it has to be this one my boyfriend made it sobs"

POOR REKI CRYING THAT HURT BUT IM GLAD HE FINALLY CRIED BECAUSE EMOTIONS NEED TO BE LET OUT SOMETIMES.

I'm so glad Sk8 gave us good food by making Reki realise he'd never be happy as just a support like thank you for not wasting his potential.

Langa looking like a lost puppy trying to find Reki anywhere made me SOB

Reki giving up his pin actually hurt to watch, because I don't think he actually wanted to, but he did it out of impulse, because he's so overwhelmed with emotions that he genuinely is having a hard time thinking things through. He gave his pin because he is tired and can't understand himself at the moment, his emotions are too overbearing which is leading him to do things he normally wouldn't do. But he's tired. He's been through so much, and he is exhausted to the point of being unable to process things. I don't think he's given up, I think he needs time.

Neither Reki or Langa are at fault for anything, both of them are genuinely tired and have gone through so much. I was angry with Langa in episode 5, but that was my impulse because that was their first actual conflict. After episode 5 though and processing both of them really aren't trying to hurt each other, they're both teenagers and tired and confused. As any teen in their situation would be. Langa isn't used to the attention he's getting, and Reki isn't used to being so overwhelmed like this, both of them are experiencing new emotions and new situations.
