heres a shadow oc that took me five minutes

fiend

a veteran of shadow, a sniper that transferred to moose's squad/platoon.

moose, rattlesnake and whatever shadows are near know nothing about him except he snipes and has been there longer than the others.

until moose starts noticing civilian woman going by his room everyday. usually one, but often enough two or three. he sometimes asks moose if he can bring them in to see countess EA and co.

moose one day musters up the courage.

"where do you pick up all these women fiend?"

"theres an anime bar a couple blocks from here."

"wait, your into anime?"

"no not really."

"then..."

"old westerns and kurisawa films."

"i...."

"if you want to come they already know about you. your getting more popular than i am."

just boom boom boom. more info about his coworker/superior in a thirty second conversation than like the entire two month period fiends been there. moose cant keep up.

fiend did buy a old west saloon decoration for his fish though

Moose definitely wouldn’t like strangers (let alone civilians) in his space, and he knows Graves wouldn’t be happy either with them on base… though he would have to stop inviting Nik over to be able to have a say about that part.

Moose would come with Fiend out of pure curiosity. He’s not an anime fan but god, he has to know what’s going on in a anime bar. He didn’t take Fiend seriously about him being ‘popular’ but the moment they walked in and a few Shadows saw them, it was over.

Moose doesn’t like to drink, but thankfully the bar had actually decent food. That had to be the only thing that kept him there as long as he stayed. Drunk, handsy people? A loud, crowded space? If he didn’t want to know what it was like inside the bar he never would’ve ended up there on his own.

Superior Results: New Green Tea-Based Nanocarriers Kill Liver Cancer Cells

The Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN) of A*STAR has reported superior results using new green tea-based nanocarriers to kill liver cancer cells, compared to existing drug delivery systems. IBN Team Leader and Principal Research Scientist, Dr Motoichi Kurisawa, and his group recently published their findings in the scientific journal Advanced Materials.

Researchers working on drug carrier technologies to improve cancer treatment face two key challenges. First, existing carriers used to transport drugs to tumor cells in the body can typically carry only about 10% of their weight in drugs. This means that more carriers are needed to deliver a specific amount of drugs, and patients would require more frequent injections or a larger dosage per treatment to kill cancer cells effectively.
