My recent Ranma rewatch has me itching to write a little something for the ol’ OTP! So…what if Kuno had a curse of his own to contend with? I have six chapters planned out, and one of them is up now! Progress may be slow, but it’s a labor of love. Excerpt below!♥️

They walked in silence for a while, Kuno fighting valiantly to keep his wits about him. For a lesser man, it would have been impossible—especially after this morning’s close call, when he had very cleverly used the art of misdirection to keep Nabiki from discovering his terrible, terrible secret—

“So, Kuno-baby, how was your trip to China?” she asked him.

Fortunately, Kuno was a master of deflecting questions meant to disarm him.

“Ch…China? China?! Haha, hah, what, who—who said anything about China?” he said. His knees rattled as he walked, slowing him to an eventual wobbly halt. Luckily, Nabiki stopped when he did.

“Fall in any interesting bodies of water lately?” she followed up, blinking at him coyly.

Kuno realized later, as he watched her finish her second helping of peach sponge cake, that he had sorely underestimated Nabiki Tendo.

Eskişehir’de geliştirilen bu oyun Apple’ın büyük ödülünü kazandı [Video]

Apple’ın geliştiriciler için büyük önem taşıyan Design Awards ödülünü Eskişehir’de geliştirilen mobil oyun kazandı. Böylelikle ilk kez bir Türk şirketi bu ödülü almaya hak kazandı.

Bu sene 21. kez düzenlenen Apple’ın teknoloji, tasarım ve inovasyon ödülü sahiplerini buldu. Bilkent Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Bölümü’nden Özgür Taşkın ve Ferhat Aydoğan tarafından geliştirilen "Oddmar" isimli mobil oyun, rakiplerini geride bırakarak büyük ödüle layık görüldü.

Eskişehir Anadolu Üniversitesi’ndeki Teknopark’ta 2014 yılında kurdukları Mobge isimli şirketin ilk oyunu olan Oddmar, oyun tutkunlarını Vikinglerin büyülü dünyasına götürüyor. Grafik kalitesi, kolay oynama imkanı ve seslendirmeleriyle dikkatleri çeken Oddmar’ın kadrosunda ses sanatçısı Julian Casey ve oyun hikayesini yazan Frank Gibson yer alıyor.

There were so many great albums released by independent record labels in 2019. Here are my favorite contemporary releases:

Elkhorn (guitarists Jesse Sheppard and Drew Gardner, with help from guitarist Willie Lane and percussionist Ryan Jewell) • Sun Cycle is loosely interwoven, psychedelic guitar music; its twin album, Elk Jam - is (slightly) more freeform and equally great.

Floating Points – Crush • the best elements of Sam Shepherd’s first two full-length albums coalesce into his most consistent record yet.

Markus Stockhausen/Alireza Mortazavi – Hamdelaneh: Intimate Dialogues • melancholy trumpet and santoor – a hammered dulcimer that originated in Iran. Definitely the most unique album listed here.

Leo Svirsky – River Without Banks • swirling, hypnotic piano with subtle electronic effects.

Loscil (Scott Morgan) • Equivalents is electronic classical music, structured and precise, but still dreamlike. Lifelike, the soundtrack he composed for the game created by Kunabi Brother is propulsive and moody.

Norm Chambers – Air Example • his most sonically diverse album yet – brilliant in every way.

Steve Hauschildt – Nonlin • modern day prog/space music. RIYL Klaus Schulze, Michael Hoenig, or Phaedra-era Tangerine Dream.

Steve Roach – Bloom Ascension • one of at least three albums released this year by this prolific artist. This is one of his best ever.

TOP 3: KUNO X NABIKI 🧡👌

Aaaand so: here we have another ship which many people probably dont like at all. I don't think I have ever mentioned it before but, Ranma 1/2 is one of my favorite anime of all times, actually: it is the series I have made more fanfics of. I just find its characters really funny and entertaining, and out of all of them, I think I like these two the most. What can I say? I just LOVE the love/hate trope!! 😆 Apart from that, I have a soft spot for ships that don't have many fans or content so I feel compelled to explore their dynamic and contribute to it, even if it is just a little bit. All that's left to say is...I really like drawing and writing fics for them, aaaand probably I will post them here soon 😏😏😏

I don’t know exactly how this happened but my fun and wacky Ryoga/Ukyo Stable Relationship sequel turned into an entirely different Thing and now it’s a fun and wacky and slightly heartwrenching future fic where Pantyhose Taro and Ranma have a stupid Cobra Kai dojo rivalry thing going on and Ryoga is a struggling widowed dad learning to love again jsjskcdk I PROMISE IT’S STILL FUNNY

“Toast.”

“Tapioca.”

“You already said applesauce!”

Four hours after Pantyhose Taro’s kidnapping plan had stopped making any sort of progress, he was beginning to lose it—which was why Nabiki had roped him into playing the world’s longest game of shiritori. It was kind of like torture, but she knew from experience that it was the lesser of two evils—Pantyhose was really annoying once he went off on a tangent.

“Well, gee, if someone hadn’t tossed my phone off the side of the building, we could have played Snake instead, but no. And this is why we can’t have nice things,” Nabiki said.

Pantyhose Taro bared his teeth at her menacingly. “What did you say?!”

There was a dreadful pause.

“…Asparagus,” Nabiki said flatly.

Mercifully, the door to the school rooftop flew open, hitting the wall with an ear-splitting crack, accompanied by a bolt of lightning. A scowling thirty-two year old man wearing traditional Japanese clothes stood at the top of the stairwell with his shoulders heaving from the exertion of running up four flights of stairs.

“Fiend!” cried Tatewaki Kuno. He pointed his sword at Pantyhose. “Nobody plays shiritori with my wife but me!”

Kuno’s strange new sidekick, a youth riding a giant pig, wrinkled his nose in disgust. “Ew, dude,” he said. “Are you like, some kind of pervert? Keep whatever freaky stuff you do with your wife to yourself. “

“Oh, Kuno-baby—we have got to work on your phrasing,” Nabiki said, her tone fondly and ever-so-gently exasperated. She’d certainly be lying to herself if she said she wasn’t just a little happy to see him.

Thunder shook the rooftop again, and at last the clouds above Furinkan High School opened. A downpour began.

“…and your timing,” Nabiki added, watching her captor transform into a yeti-eel-ox-crane thing with octopus arms and whatever else this month’s model of Pantyhose Taro had stuck to it. The fact that her new suit was getting thoroughly soaked didn’t do much to improve her mood.

Kuno was none too pleased, either, it seemed. He got ready to charge.

“Prepare to meet your maker, demon beast!” he said.

Nabiki flinched. “Kuno, wait, watch out for the—”

It was too late. Before she could stop him, her tall, dark, handsome, rich, stupid husband ran out into the inclement weather and turned into a tall, dark, handsome, rich, stupid horse.

“…rain,” she said, punctuating her sentence with a sigh.

Pantyhose Taro punted Kuno into the sky.

[Week 10] Research - Euclidean lands

Euclidean Lands is an AR strategy game developed by Miro Straka and released by the kunabi brothers in 2017 on iOS. The scene of the game is similar to a Rubik's cube. The player can change the position of the character by turning the face of the square, and then change the position of the character they controlled. The theme of the game is to defeat evil enemies in each level, and to attack them requires the player to plan to move the character to the right position before launching an attack.

The game has a very beautiful artistic style, simple and very calm, very suitable for the theme and game type. The beautiful vibrant background colours match the overall artistic style of the 3D objects and characters, looking very unified and harmonious.

This is a very challenging game that allows players to think hard before taking a step forward. As the game progresses, the stronger they become in the face of the enemy, the heavier the kill. How to move and rotate Rubik's cube requires players to have a certain space imagination, in the face of the attack range and skills are not the same enemy, in addition to space imagination, they also need to have certain strategic thinking. It gets players' brains working, so when they cross a level, they get a sense of accomplishment that no other game can give them. But I think not all players like this challenge, and a large number of players will give up playing because of the difficulty. It's also a reminder to me about the future of game making. A properly graded level of difficulty allows players to stay in a game.

Because of the small size, the game is more comfortable to play on the iPhone than on the iPad. Because at the same time, the player needs to use the other hand to operate the device. They need to use the swipe gesture precisely, so holding the iPad with one hand and swiping it with the other isn't so comfortable, after all, it's heavy to hold in one hand. And the player may stand up while playing the game, so it may be uncomfortable to use, especially if the player is a child with small hands.

I have done some research on AR projects before. How to allow players to operate the game while holding the device is a problem that must be considered in AR projects. I didn't think about this very well when I made my project, so I will pay more attention to it in the future.
