Aziraphale wakes up one night and finds Crowley is running an awful fever. He takes care of him then and lets the demon sleep. He stays up with him, stroking his hair and whispers little miracles when he sees Crowley is getting restless from a fever dream. But once morning comes, he gently shakes Crowley awake and asks if he wants breakfast and tea. Crowley accepts the tea.

Crowley is always a little weaker in the winter which means less demonic work and fewer miracles. But Crowley is stubborn. When he finally overdoes it and nearly collapses during filming a video, Aziraphale tucks him in and gets him comfortable. Crowley whines that he’s light-headed and cold, and Aziraphale gently scolds him and tells him that it’s his fault. 

The worse week of Aziraphale’s existence is when Crowley’s barely coherent and his breaths come in wheezes. His cheeks are flushed, the rest of his face is pale, and there’s not a hint of white in his eyes. Aziraphale worries that he’ll discorporate. He spends every day bathing his face in cold cloths. One night he finally puts Crowley in a cool bath. Crowley puts up a fight for a few minutes before he exhausts himself and he sinks into the tub with body-wracking coughs. Aziraphale cries when he hears Crowley weakly call out for him. 

Baby colds:

Crowley sniffles on camera a lot one day and coughs a few times. Viewers leave comments hoping he feels better. He hates how humans feel the need to do that for someone they don’t know. It’s too nice. Aziraphale tells him the accept the kindness. 

Antila can tell when he’s not feeling well. Cue Crowley being wrapped up in blankets on the sofa, with Antila laying in his lap and Golden Girls on the TV. Aziraphale thinks it’s adorable. 

Sometimes colds are better to deal with when he’s a snake. One livestream, he’s draped around Aziraphale’s neck bc being a snake doesn’t mean he’s missing out on any quality Aziraphale comfort. The viewers gush about the snake. Aziraphale strokes Crowley’s head and says, “the poor thing isn’t feeling well today.”

I need more Warlock with the Ineffable Disasters

Ask and you shall receive 

Crowley texts him all the time. He knows when Warlock’s parents are fighting or when he’s just feeling lonely. There have been times when he lets Warlock skip school to visit, but Aziraphale set a strict house rule that he can’t come on school days. It’s far too long of a commute to South Downs to be making on a school night, and his classes are important. Warlock and Crowley pout, but they eventually agree when they realize they risk his parents finding out

Warlock is just as camera shy as Crowley, but Aziraphale has fewer reservations about pulling him into the frame and holding him there to force him to try new recipes

Warlock really doesn’t mind. When Aziraphale holds him in frame, it’s one of the best hugs he gets 

Crowley has not bedtime set for him, so they stay up late watching movies and eating snacks

Aziraphale, who believes children need their sleep, lost that fight

Crowley will help Warlock with his homework but he’s a grade A dumbass in some subjects so any information he gives is absolutely wrong 

it’s math. Crowley can’t do math to save his life

Aziraphale know his favorite meals and makes sure to cook them when he’s visiting

I’m thinking about the Ineffable Disasters with a kid again and I’m about to cry I need some sweet sweet scene ideas for drawing

I have things to offer (but this is all part of a human version of the vlogger au now): 

Crowley being v tired bc he’s been shouldering most of the baby responsibility while Aziraphale’s been busy doing other things. Aziraphale takes their daughter out for the day so Crowley can basically nap all afternoon. It’s much needed, but when Aziraphale and their daughter come home, he’s very excited to see them and hug them and kiss them. 

Antila warms up to their daughter quickly. She guards her when she sleeps. 

Crowley is basically the stay-at-home parent as Aziraphale takes care of the bookshop on occasion and films a lot (though, I guess this could also make Aziraphale stay-at-home). He takes her on small adventures and from a young age, he encourages her to get into trouble and be a little anarchist. He gets her a baby leather jacket. Aziraphale cries when he sees it because it’s so cute, but he will also never dress her in that himself. When he’s dressing her, it’s a cozy sweater and pants with little booties. 

Crowley also gets her lil sunglasses. Aziraphale worries that her eyes will become sensitive if she wears them too much. Crowley’s like “Oh. Sensitive eyes. Not like we don’t know how to deal with that.” Aziraphale sees his point but takes her sunglasses off indoors. 

The first night they bring her home, they don’t want to leave her. They hold her while she sleeps until they decide to lay her down. But even then, they stay in her room and watch her sleep. Crowley cries at least three times.

Saw an Over The Garden Wall post on my dash today and realized it’s almost October, so in the spirit of the just-barely season, some Fall/Halloween things for the vlogger au: Aziraphale making fall-themed foods for the vlog, EVERYTHING is somehow pumpkin spiced (or at least spiced—you know what I mean the fall spice,) they go out shopping one day to find Crowley some fashionable scarves for the coming cold fronts, they also stock up on cocoa and hot spiced apple cider (1)

Once Halloween time rolls around, viewers ask Aziraphale if they’re doing anything to celebrate the holiday and soon they go costume shopping, I’m thinking either Crowley does something really ridiculous like a vampire (he just buys a cape that’s it) and Az is a bastard so he gets fake angel wings and a halo, OR they do the switch (Azi as a demon, Crowley as an angel) anyways I’m feeling the fall spirit already and Halloween-themed vlogger au things are making me hype (2)

Crowley takes off his glasses on camera on Halloween. People are amazed by how realistic his contacts are. He takes every compliment. He says that he’s dressed as their pet snake. Viewers wonder why Aziraphale closes his eyes and sighs. 

Aziraphale, meanwhile, has a very low-effort angel costume on. 

When they’re talking about trick-or-treater’s, they mention that they have candy ready for them though they’re not expecting many where they live. Crowley says that he intends on giving kids apples. Aziraphale tells him to leave.

Okay I still really am in love with the idea that they met for the first time as teenagers at a supermarket (and then of course never see each other again for years) so what if when they meet again at the support group Anthony tries to (badly) flirt with Az again and then they’re like “hey we’ve met before haven’t we” and so on (wow this is a ramble but I just woke up sorry)

Azirphale is like “Do we know each other?” 

And Anthony remembers trying to shove a baguette in his trousers at 17 as Aziraphale watched and sweats. “No I don’t think we have you’ve probably just seen someone like me before. I have to go I have a cat to feed.”

Okay I’m drawing the reverse au for fun but I hit a predictable snag—what do they both look like?

Alright here’s some stuff I’m thinking up on the fly

Crowley/Aledael:

short

like no taller than 5′4. Possibly 5′2. Depends on his shoes. 

red hair that goes just past his shoulders (imagine Crowley during the Nanny Ashtoreth years but hair just a lil bit longer). 

wears the light colors that all angels do 

very fond of his cream-colored button downs

wears a light blue blazer/jacket like demon Crowley does

rocks some nice boots with a lil lift on them

hazel eyes

probably doesn’t wear sunglasses but it’d probably be cute if he wore some type of glasses

Aziraphale/AziraFell (god i hate that name)

same height

i wanna say dark hair, but i think he would still have white hair ngl

idk what his eyes would look like bc i’d want to him to be part animal like other demons 

i’ve seen other people draw him as a moth and an owl and like asfhgabrg i don’t want to steal their ideas but that’s where i’m headed with this 

maybe he’s like a tree fog and has red eyes??? idk i literally cannot think of animals right now WAIT NOT MAYBE HE’S A GOAT OH MY GOD MAKE HIM A GOAT GIVE HIM GOAT EYES I’D SCREAM

he wears sunglasses like demon Crowley does but they’re probably not the same style they’re probably like..... aviators or something idk

i like to think he’s still stuck in the past with the rest of hell and like him as an angel (altho i feel like it defeats the purpose of why gaiman did that in the first place in the show)

but i’m feeling he would probably just have a darker version of his tv suit

Please.... it’s fucking cold and my joints are actually aching for some fucking reason and I don’t want to leave my couch... Some more chronic pain Crowley, please? Cold achey Crowley getting love from his angel that’s all I ask 🙏

Aziraphale cuddles Crowley all day when Crowley doesn’t feel up to moving. 

Crowley can get irritable when he’s achy, but Aziraphale knows he doesn’t mean anything when he snaps at Aziraphale. Aziraphale will just leave him alone for a little bit and come back with hot tea. 

There are days where Crowley is just so drained that he sleeps all day. Aziraphale makes sure he’s comfy and wakes him up every so often to stretch because he knows laying down all day won’t help.

Crowley, despite the pain, is pretty flexible because Snek. He starts doing yoga, and it helps a lot

Some nights, he can’t sleep. He feels restless, and it’s like his body hurts more if he’s just laying there. Aziraphale will help him up and help him stretch and help him take a short walk around the house. Moving just that little bit helps everything crack satisfyingly and tires him out

I think we just figured that if David Tennant is the responsible Dad™ then Michael Sheen would be this chaotic uncle type of guy

Michael Sheen is the type of guy who, when you go out with friends for drinks,  by the end of the night, he’s made friends with everyone in the bar and on the walk home he shows you that he stole a bunch of coasters and a salt shaker

Okay but ”Aziraphale thought he was the most special person to ever exist” literally did just make me start crying so thanks for that I love this already

I added that last minute!!! I was literally about to post it and then I was like “Wait! Crowley can’t think he’s special! He’s just a normal guy, and I need to make that clear.” So I made sure I put in the line where he says he realized that he was nothing special after all. 

But then I thought: “Crowley doesn’t think he’s special, but Aziraphale knows Crowley is special.”

I’m glad it made you cry!!
