This project is a go between while I work out which client to build for next. I haven’t built anything shoji related since my apprenticeship, so it is kind of nostalgic. Western Red Cedar smells so good, but it’s so friggin’ soft!! This screen will be complete with kumiko pattern. More of a showpiece though. It will stand above my shelf full of joinery :)
