IMPORTANT NOTE

This is just an important note to everyone participating in KSV2017. 

Anyone who does not have their anonymous ask option turned on will have 48 hours from the point that we message them to turn the ask option on. Failure to do so will result in removal from the event.

Having your ask and anonymous ask option turned on is needed in order to participate in events like Kpop Secret Santa and Kpop Secret Valentine, as it ensures your match’s identity is kept a secret until the day of the reveal. This is written in our original event post here, and it is also a required question for you to check your ask’s settings when submitting your application. In order to have submitted an application form for this event, you must have either said that your anonymous ask was on, or that you were turning it on immediately afterwards. 

We have answered many asks regarding participants not having their anonymous option on and it takes a chunk of our time (away from matching and sending) to solve the problem and it also takes time from you getting messages/sending messages.

There have been posts about this in the past, however, this will be the last time we will repeat this. We understand that there are participants who do not follow this blog, but it was clearly stated in the original post and in the application form to have your anonymous ask on. 

Friendly reminder: if there is a chance that you do not see an anon option for the person you are messaging on the tumblr app, please try going on that blog on a browser (on mobile and/or comp) before coming to inform/ask us about it. The app is wonky and does not always show the anon option.

We hope you can take the time to read and respect the event rules when applying for our events as it ensures a smooth process for both us and all your participants. We greatly appreciate all of you :D

I’m just a cashier at the mall food court, nothing special 😂 for hobbies, I’ve been wanting to try yoga, ceramics, painting, guitar, and ukulele! I’ve also been meaning to relearn how to play the piano. Maybe you can help me? 😊

as for languages, I have so many that I want to learn but I don’t know where to start haha. I was thinking either Spanish or Korean; Spanish bc it’s not particularly difficult for most English speakers, it’s a common language, and I wouldn’t have to learn a new writing system haha. On the other hand, Korean would be more useful here in Hawaii bc of tourism, plus I already know how to read Korean hangul, but I believe it’s the sentence structure and verb conjugations that make it a particularly difficult language to learn so we’ll see 😬

It’s pretty much always warm lol. We have what we locals consider to be ‘winter,’ but it only gets like 5 degrees cooler and rains more frequently, yet everyone uses it as an excuse to whip out their sweaters and boots 😂 but yes, please come! Hawaii is a lot closer to Korea than Europe, hopefully Hakyeon won’t notice that you’re gone ^^

okok, I’ll teach you how to bodyboard and cook some simple things, and you can help me learn Korean and how to play the piano. Deal?? 😉 also, have those weird poses ready!! once you land in Hawaii, we’re going hiking and photobombing 😜

Hello Kat! What a lovely name for a lovely girl. You live in Hawaii. I can only imagine you have a beautifully tanned skin now. I can't wait to lay on the beach with you, or catch some waves. I’ve actually never surfed, but I do enjoy bodyboarding every now and then! And yes, the beach is the perfect place for pictures. One of my favorite things to do is photobomb couples trying to take their wedding pictures there, and it would be great to have a partner in crime 😈

I love spicy food too, but unfortunately most of my friends can’t the heat either 😂  I don’t think I can choose a favorite, every song is wonderful in its own way >_

Right now I’m mainly working, but I plan on making time to be more physically active and try new hobbies and study languages! I post some of my pictures on my ig, although you probably wouldn’t want to follow me bc it’d be too obvious, considering you’re not following anyone at the moment 😅

as for me, my name is Kat/Kathy and I live in Hawaii! I was studying Communications and Asian Culture in college, but I’m currently taking a semester off.
