He'd rather sit back and let KC be the one to cause it and then he could slam the trailer door and go to the party and it not be his fault. He scoffed as he was told he could go and pointed at her. "If I go, I'll have to come back and see that face but ten times worse." Axel huffed, smoking his cigarette with more frustration. His eyes rolled and head flopped back again as there were more comments he couldn't avoid, they'd been constant and he wasn't sure he could keep a lid on his anger for much longer. "Jesus Christ, do you want a medal or something? My mom did it, six of us and didn't bitch this much. I'm here now, and all you do is fucking make me wanna leave but you're pissed if I'm not around? How does that make sense?"

as for the magic, SIGHIR, anyone who’s been on mars for even a brief period of time would know what levi just said. only people born on the planet can have the ability and technically, levi was never born. she was brought into this world inorganically, by programmers and engineers who worked to create her purpose. but sometimes, when she thinks about it, she does wish that the circumstances of her existence were different.

There's a trance in the snow ball from season two in volume 2. Eleven was in it in the trailer but it seems like it's going to be Max's trance. I was wondering if you had any thoughts about that

I think that the characters are going to purposefully going to go into trances so Eleven can infiltrate their minds and attack Vecna from within. A lot of characters and Byler have been tagged and that's going to become relevant in a minute; this post is gonna be a long one! Let me explain...

I'm a fan of the Nightmare on Elm Street series and spoke about how I believed that season 4 would be heavily nightmare inspired before I watched the series. But I was looking back at the film inspiration list, and it doesn't have the first Nightmare movie; it has the third, Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. I didn't really think too much about why that is the case until this ask.

There are a few things of note about this movie. Firstly, the kids put themselves into trances to find powers and fight back against Freddie Krueger. But most importantly, the female lead (Kristen) has the ability to pull people into trances. As well as this, the kids have a shared trance in the movie and this is where my theory comes in.

I think you're right; Eleven is in Max's trance. And I think this is how they're going to take down Vecna. Before I continue, I'll quickly give some proof about what the anon said.

As you can see, Eleven is in the Snow Ball but we know that Max's trance takes place there. This made me start thinking about the character's risky plan. Eleven, like Kristen in Nightmare 3, has similar powers to the villain. This is because Vecna was 001. I believe that the characters will purposefully go into trances so Eleven can infiltrate their minds and try to take down Vecna with her powers from within. The loud bang described in this clip could be Vecna trying to scare her (Vecna is Pennywise inspired and the popping balloon could be an homage to that) but it could also be Eleven trying to confuse Vecna. They clearly fight in some capacity here as shown by Eleven flying backwards although if Eleven fights back by that point is yet to be seen.

This could be linked to Will as well. Noah Schnapp posted him in a harness despite the fact we've not seen any stunts that he'd need it for yet. Millie Bobby Brown posted a video of her and Noah skating together, however Will was wearing a different outfit to what he was originally wearing at the roller rink and instead was wearing the one with the harness. Perhaps their trances bleed together and Will starts experiencing some of Eleven's trance too? I'm not too sure on that but I thought it was worth putting out there. This could be something interesting to think about for the people who talk about Will Byers having powers. If he somehow managed to infiltrate Eleven's mind it could mean he had similar powers to them.

I was theorising earlier with @hawkinsschoolcounselor about Lucas going into a trance. This is because Caleb had censored eyes with contacts in for spoilers and the people who are Vecna'd wear contacts. Whilst this might not be the case, I'm now inclined to believe that a lot of the Hawkins Gang will be going into trances like in Nightmare 3. I doubt they'll develop dream superpowers (who knows though) but I do think they'll have shared trances.

If this is the case, I can only imagine how scary that is for the characters as it exposes all their secrets, trauma and guilt. I hope this isn't used for an outing of Will or Robin. I suppose it could maybe be handled alright but I much prefer more heartfelt coming out stories like Robin to Steve. Although if Robin did go in a trance, this would probably be what it's about considering that seems to be her major secret.

This could maybe even be the route they go down for Byler, with Eleven or Mike looking into Will's brain and seeing his queer thoughts. This could also happen to Mike. As I said, I hope they don't use this approach and I don't think they will because of the painting which in my opinion is almost certainly going to be used for a confession.

I also wonder if Steve, Robin and Nancy are using this distraction to try hunt down and physically kill Vecna. We see them with all of their kit walking somewhere in the Upside Down and shots of Robin attached to a wall with vines. I think the reason Eddie isn't with them is because he's using guitar to lure away the demobats.

Anyways, whilst Eleven and the kids use their minds to weaken and attack Vecna, it would make total sense for these characters to try and sneak attack Vecna with physical weapons. This makes me worried for the older group trying to hurt him as I feel like this would definitely go wrong. Eddie is also at risk because of the fact that he's all alone with his only defense being killer guitar skills and the show has a pattern of killing off loveable new characters as well. We shall have to wait and see.

According to interviews, there's going to be a 1 hour sequence in the final episode that just doesn't stop. Could this sequence be a one hour long trance with Eleven and possibly Will and the gang fighting back against Vecna in their minds?

          Such a bold statement could mean one of several things, the first being the least likely, Cersei didn’t think Mellario would catch on to anything more hidden than this, another option was that the Queen was so desperate for romantic attention she would be so blunt about it, this option Mellario didn’t care for, Cersei did not strike her as a desperate woman. no, Mellario thought it to be confidence. she was so certain, felt so secure in her position that she didn’t feel the need to be cautious, and in a way the Norvoshi admired that.

Character I most identify with: Lucretia, for better or for worse. I do not think I am a well-intentioned extremist irl but I think in a D&D story I could absolutely fall into that.

Percy/Vex

When I started shipping them: hard to say in that I went into C1 knowing how the general ships shook out. I do remember loving their interaction when Percy first tells VM about the Briarwoods and Vex immediately is like "oh this is 100% our problem now too",

What makes me happy about them: everything. My ideal for fictional romances is truly "we are flawed in the same way, but through each other we can see how we are worthy of love despite that" so like, this is my fucking jam.

What makes me sad about them: not much, honestly! lifespan angst was made up by mediocre fanfic writers to sell more mediocre fanfic.

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: nothing specific to them; in general I am a very "he would not fucking say that" person when it comes to fanfic so getting the voices right is crucial, but that's always true for any ship.

Things I look for in fanfic: see above; get the voices right.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I mean, they are perfect for each other and no other ships for either of them compare, but I would not be mad at Percy/Tary or Vex/Zahra.

My happily ever after for them: they've got it! Percy just wants to do weird science in a workshop while a competent partner does all the political work; Vex wants the security that power grants her after a childhood and young adulthood of profound instability and emotional abuse, and both want someone who loves even their more vengeful and complicated side, and that's what they're doing!

How I feel about this character: She is great. Love how Emily leaned into Angry Teen in a way that felt real and understandable.

Any/all the people I ship romantically with this character: Ayda

My favorite non-romantic relationship for this character: I mean, all the bad kids, but Riz and Kristen are some of my favorites. Also her relationship with Gilear is wonderful.

My unpopular opinion about this character: None really?

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: Nothing specific other than "please give us a third season one day, please d20 cast, please"

Favorite friendship for this character: Probably Riz; Emily and Murph as players are hilarious in that they NEVER explore romantic chemistry despite being irl married, but their characters almost always end up really good friends.

The State-of-the-Art $28 Million Mojave Desert Mansion

Las Vegas is home to all things extravagant, risky and riotously excessive. Which is why an idiosyncratic, super-luxury custom home on the edge of the Mojave Desert fits right in. The new spec house from Blue Heron, the cutting-edge Nevada design company, is intended to exude both the theatrical spectacle of the Las Vegas Strip and the natural spirit of the desert from which it sprung, according to Blue Heron’s CEO and founder, Tyler Jones.

The five-bedroom experimental home, which was completed last month and is seen here for the first time, is the most expensive current listing in Las Vegas at $28 million. Known as Vegas Modern 001, it was designed as a showcase for Blue Heron’s technological and architectural innovation and incorporates various performative feats of engineering and design. It sits in Dragon’s Reserve, a master-planned community in MacDonald Highlands, on a 1.26-acre lot overlooking the bright lights of the city from a cocoon of comfort and security (there’s a panic room, naturally).

Material indulgences proliferate throughout its 15,000 square feet, including a bedroom accessed over a glass bridge with a 180-degree view of the Las Vegas Valley below through a 40-foot glass wall. There’s a reception room with water features on three walls and a “digital den” with a 13.5-foot LED screen, which is so enormous it can be seen from several of the open-plan living spaces. One of the eight bathrooms has a 30-foot ceiling. In the master bathroom, a concealed mirror in the ceiling descends on motorized wires.

Outside, across 5,000 square feet of deck space, are three interconnected pools, two outdoor kitchens, three outdoor showers, a lounge with a full working bar, nine fire features and a deck with views of the Las Vegas Strip. The 11-car garage has a show-car display system, Tesla-charging stations and built-in televisions.

“It’s extremely unique in every possible way,” says Jones. “It’s meant to demonstrate ingenuity, creativity and [our] seamless design and execution abilities.”

Experimental features of the home, which is listed with Kristen Routh-Silberman of Sotheby’s International Realty, include a sophisticated off-grid power system, fueled by the region’s largest residential solar array, paired with advanced battery and microgrid technology. A smart biophilic system allows residents to sync home technology with their circadian rhythm, shifting the lighting and temperature inside with that of the outdoors.

Biophilic is often used to refer to the technical aspects of air filtration and lighting, but Jones has a more emotional take on the concept. “When we say ‘biophilic’ we refer to the way that natural elements are integrated into the design,” he said. “There’s water on three sides of the great room, and you can hear it and feel the humidity. Plant life is literally coming into your living space.” Fire features and views are incorporated to “recreate the best parts of nature in a manmade home.”

The unique aspects of the house include an unusual sale condition: Buyers have to agree to rent the residence to Blue Heron for use as an “experience center” (a.k.a. show home) for 36 months, only after which can the buyer take full possession. This is the third such leaseback arrangement brokered by the developer, which specializes in luxury custom homes that are designed, constructed and furnished from land purchase to final sale by an in-house team of specialist architects, builders and interior designers. This enables Blue Heron to oversee every detail, an approach that Jones says is “critical to the quality of execution.”

Jones, who says “multiple billionaires” have already viewed the home, expects a buyer who is looking for “something ultra-special for entertaining, a trophy that’s going to impress.”

Willam Belli has entered the diary room...

“Dear diary,” Willam started as soon as he crashed down on the large chair. “I want a goddamn explanation!”

“Why on earth would you switch from a resort to this place?” This all recent news to the male, “if I had known this show use to be set in a fucking resort I would have agreed to do it sooner! That’s a bad move on your part, no wonder everyone here seems boring and miserable they miss the old place.” Willam just stopped before this turned into a proper rant, he knew it wasn’t worth it and of course he didn’t mean it. “No fucking idea what I’m suppose to say, this seems stupid but here I go anyway. It’s alright here, I mean the decor is nice must have been done by a gay man. Some people seem fun and some not so much.” Since he hadn’t been here long at all, Willam decided to just give his opinions on some of his fellow housemates and his first impressions. 

“Kristen is cool which shocked the hell out of me, she isn’t as boring and emotionless as she comes across on TV. I have a love/hate relationship with Phoebe I’ve decided, she seems like my kind of girl to hang out with but at the same time she’s so fucking beautiful I hate her for it. Norman is hot in a weird way, he seems like he’s trying to play the bad boy in the house but I’d still suck his dick. Everyone else is either boring or just not interesting at all, I guess that’s the same thing. Honestly big brother I’ve hardly spoken to anyone so this entry is gonna be short and sweet and I’ve got better things to be doing and slowly slipping into madness by being here.” Willam just went quiet for a moment before shrugging, sitting up straight, “can I go now? Until next time bitches,” getting up he went for the door but soon came back, his fact close to the camera. “Oh one more thing, can I have my hover board? I promise I won’t let people use it and I won’t break anything.” He waited for a few second before deciding he wasn’t gonna get an answer so he left the room.

Favourite character: Reiner ♥ Least Favourite character: Floch. Fuck off. The less I see of you the better. 5 Favourite ships (canon or non-canon): Eren/Reiner, Levi/Erwin, Levi/Hange, Levi/Eren, Levi/Erwin/Mike looking directly at Kristen for that last one. Special mention for Ymir/Historia, too. Character I find most attractive: It’s a tie between Reiner and Levi Character I would marry: I’d say Reiner but he’s gay so. Levi Character I would be best friends with: Being friends with Hange or Pieck would be cool A random thought: The post-timeskip arcs take up a third of the total length of the manga and yet they’re gonna take up like...maybe a quarter of the length of the anime. Why.   An unpopular opinion: Levi hasn’t been acting OOC in the final few arcs, you’re all just blinded by your shipping goggles to acknowledge that he cares about more than one person, whether alive or dead. Also, neither Reiner nor Levi should die so they can ‘rest’; they need to get out of this shit and live the rest of their lives with people who truly care about them. Being mentally ill or physically disabled does not mean they would be better off dead. My Canon OTP:  Eren/Reiner. No, you cannot change my mind. My Non-canon OTP: Levi/Erwin Most Badass Character: Levi Most Epic Villain: Eren, seeing as it’s him now Pairing I am not a fan of: Galli///Rei and Ere///Mika. Don’t like the vibes from either. Also, Rei///Bert has like hardly any real chemistry let’s be honest; that one’s a hang-on from season 1 when we hardly knew anything about either of them. Character I feel the writers screwed up: I’m not a huge fan of how Historia ended up going along with the idea of pumping out babies to continue the cycle of the Reiss family consuming each other when she promised Ymir that she’d start living for herself. I can definitely see Ymir yelling at her the entire time from the Paths dimension. Favourite Friendship: Jean, Sasha, Connie Character I most identify with: Reiner, if only because writing a character plants a piece of them in my brain forever sdxfcgvh. Also, we’re both in our early twenties and are extremely Tired™. Character I wish I could be: Pieck, she’s so fucking cool
