It seems that WIGHT don't like their original debut cover anymore? They changed it on the re-releases and by the way, not even Discogs shows the correct cover, which is this one. Fun fact: I was the layouter behind this early Kozmik Artifactz/Bilocation release ;)
Wight were always among my favorite german groups in the scene but there have always been many good bands in Germany. We used to have a long link list of stoner groups on the Generated X website, maybe I should at least name them all in a future post here?

Buried Feather "Buried Feather" 2013 + "Mind Of The Swarm"2017 + "Cloudberry Dreamshake" 2019 Melbourne Australia Psych Rock,Kraut Rock

With a sound built on fuzzy drone and swirling keyboards, Buried Feather’s live shows have built a loyal following, drawing regular comparisons to Dead Meadow and Spacemen 3. Their 2013 debut album was a woozy, atmospheric affair that was well loved on community radio right around Australia. The band toured regularly behind the record, including shows with NYC’s Endless Boogie and San Diego psych-metal titans Earthless. Buried Feather's second full-length "Mind of the Swarm" (February 2017) was released through Melbourne indie label Cobra Snake Necktie Records as well as the German stoner-rock imprint Kozmik Artifactz. Recorded by Paul Maybury (King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard) and mixed by Nick Franklin (The Grates, Deep Sea Arcade), the sophomore record is a more dynamic realisation of the band’s hypnotic sound. First single “Dust” finds them solidly in kosmische territory, with a head-rush of phased guitars swirling around a locked groove. The record throws up some interesting .....~ Members Steve McLennan Jim Grimwade Callum Routledge
Buried Feather "Buried Feather" 2013
Burned Feather, hailing from Australia, wish to come off as a kaleidoscopic psychedelic progressive rock band suitable for laidback couch-bound emancipation, creating lysergic bliss, but they don’t. From all of their releases I’ve managed to save but two songs, both from this outing, featuring cover art that is entirely reminiscent of the Supertramp album Crime of the Century, “Sink to the Bottom” and “Maybe” … with both of these numbers actually being colourful ethereal hypnotic psychedelic daydreams worthy of your consideration. On the whole this album, along with their others, reveals music that comes off as being entirely sophomoric, with many fans claiming that they’re flashing back images of vintage stoner-rock from the 70’s, though methinks that no one making such a statement was there then, and is only making an offhanded connection as a descriptor. Yes, the band does have some good rhythms, some fuzzy guitars, and on the whole the drowsy vocals are enchanting, attempting to instill an aura of mellowness, with the fault being that Burned Feather haven’t learned to connect all of those dots, allowing what they do best to merge and morph into something splendid; as they did on the two afore mentioned tracks. I would suggest that all of the band’s praise is based entirely on live performances, where I imagine they feel slightly more free to allow their music to wander in a bit more of an atmospheric nature, calling to mind groups such as Spacemen 3 or Dead Meadow, yet that attitude is not revealed on record, where their druggy rave-ups, locked in swirling and at times explosive guitars, spurred on by synth driven backgrounds, leaves the whole effort and effect to come off as if one thing is piled on top of another for affect only and without the purpose of a conceptual wholeness, one that’s neither mesmerizing nor filled with bliss.....~ Tracklist Plates 6:01 Sink To The Bottom 4:03 Magnetized 6:43 Weekends 4:35 In The Sun 2:55 Time It Takes 4:15 Drowning Man 5:14 Maybe 4:04
Buried Feather "Mind Of The Swarm"2017
More psychedelic than the first psychedelic era.. even though the tracks are quite different the album floats like a hypnotic voyage through the center of your brainwashed mind, a cleansing trip you never want to end.. quite early to choose the album of the year but this could be the one.. released on february 10th by cobra snake necktie records & kozmik artifactz.....~ Credits Jim Grimwade - Bass Guitar Steve McLennan - Vocals, Guitar, Synthesizers Josh Moult - Keyboards & Synthesizers Callam Routledge - Drums, Percussion & Xylophone Nick Franklin & Joe Driver - Additional Percussion Tracklist Would I Miss You 3:44 Dust 3:17 The Stranger 5:13 Mind Of The Swarm 4:51 Sunshine 4:21 Endless C 4:15 Regular Creep 5:11 Screen Dreamer 5:32 Well Wishes 5:36
Buried Feather "Cloudberry Dreamshake" 2019
The Melbourne band Buried Feather makes vintage psychedelic rock. And for some strange reason I seem to have missed their latest released called “Cloudberry Dreamshake” wich was released in September this year. The whole album is one hazy trip of fuzzed out fun. Buried Feather is on “The Australian List ” with lots of other gems. The band has even its own personal beer wich makes me ridiculously jealous.....~ Tracklist Melt Together 4:45 London Feels 4:45 Cult Of Boogs 2:33 Nuclear Suzi 3:30 Morphine Bride 4:24 Lightning Hands 3:19 Dreamshake 4:35 Nothing's Real 5:03 Cloudberry Jam 6:07

The Chilean masters of the fuzz stoner Demonauta are back with a brand new album "Temaukel, the Spirit Before Time", which successfully delivers a great blend of Psychedelic vibes with heavy riffs, completed with lyrics in Spanish and English. Kozmik Artifactz will release the record on vinyl in the near future.

This power trio from Memphis just may have released their best album so far.  It feels a little different from past albums, maybe a little more adventurous?  Not sure, but I really like it.

Sonic Transmission: Turtle Skull - Why Do You Ask
Want to cool off against the summer heat? There's a new Turtle Skull record out soon but the second single Why Do You Ask? is an ample appetizer for things to come. #turtleskull #monoliths #whydoyouask #psych #rock #flower #doom
Summer is here. If those recent views of Bournemouth are anything to go by then odds are this is one summer you may in fact dread what with all this Covid malarkey still in the air. But you know what else flows through the air right now? Flowers and a generous wafting of acid. And love, why not! Chasing the run-up to their immeasurably lysergic debut longplayer, Australia’s finest purveyors of…

Bison Machine announce Seas Of Titan, stream first single "The Tower"
Official press release:
Michigan fuzz rockers Bison Machine will release their Seas Of Titan full-length via Small Stone this fall.
Since 2010, Bison Machine has been plying their trade in the dank, vinyl-smelling basements of Detroit, Michigan, the birthplace of a rock tradition for brashness and all-in physicality to music that the group lovingly upholds. Seas Of Titan is the band’s first…
