Now Danny would openly admit, if only to himself, that he had a type when it came to relationships. If they were strong, if they were a threat to him, then chances were he would develop some sort of crush. It was how he had dated Sam and Valerie (And Johnny & Kitty) when he was a bit younger, and hell, Sam had technically succeeded in killing him, even if partly. 

Attraction towards smart people who could kill him was honestly par for the course for a Fenton or Nightingale anyway. 

And he’d also admit he enjoyed a bit of time travel, learning about times and culture long before his time, to the point that he could blend in in ancient times just as easily as the time he had been born in. That it was natural to mutter in a language lost to time. 

So color him surprise when another man perks up in the bar he had paused to get a drink in, vibrant green eyes gleaming in interest and responds in turn. And not just in the language, but able to keep up when he talks about things that once existed but haven’t been rediscovered yet. 

And one thing led to the other, and there might have been some assassins and some shenanigans that end with them both laughing together in an inn and then more and- Okay he has a type alright, and he’s ticking each box! How is that fair?

so for anyone who's struggling with the swarm enemies, i seriously recommend that you build imaginary characters, such as yukong or welt (if you actually managed to get him lol), or in my case, luocha. but since it would be incredibly difficult to just pull welt, we'll go with yukong since she's literally given for free (─‿─)

same with any quantum characters such as lynx or qingque, with the former being a healer so that will be a load off your shoulders. for fire, i use caelus but other characters you can use would be asta, guinaifen and hook. for physical, i use natasha since she also doubles as a healer, but there's also the option of the trailblazer, hanya, luka and sushang. and finally for ice, herta, march and pela can help tremendously. i use yanqing bc he's my son and also he's a stronk boye (๑˘︶˘๑)

but i'm really sorry that these specific enemies nonnie were such a hassle; they can be difficult since they just threw those bugs at us and i'm sure that not a lot of people have any imaginary characters on their team (Ｔ▽Ｔ)

Once again struggling to work on this chapter because of THOUGHTS. Though, at least THIS time, it's actually thoughts about a thing I might write happening in the near future.

The thought is Bloodmoon showing up and confronting Eclipse, not knowing about everything that's happened. So, to hopefully save himself, Eclipse puts on the act of Ruin. Still, it's Bloodmoon, so they're remaining hostile through the entire thing.

Then, at some point during the encounter, Solar shows up and, in the immediate moment, just sees Bloodmoon being an active threat to Eclipse. Adrenaline, his recently-discovered feelings for Eclipse, and a bit of lingering guard-dog instincts send him throwing himself between the two with zero hesitation. Eclipse tries to get his attention to tell him he has the situation under control. But, right after, Bloodmoon makes some taunting remark. So, Solar then knocks Bloodmoon to the ground, pinning their arms down under his legs.

The whole time, Eclipse is screaming for Solar to stop. Nothing works. It isn't until Solar lifts a hand into a claw that Eclipse goes to a last resort.

"Darling, stop!", in the most authoritative tone he can manage in that moment.

Solar freezes instantly, and the shock of suddenly hearing that pet-name again pulls him back to his senses. Eclipse calls him over and, despite how much he's trembling, Solar does go to him. Eclipse whispers, so Bloodmoon wouldn't be able to hear,

"I'm sorry. You weren't listening, and I didn't know what else to do. Now, go, before my act frightens you further."

ETA: BRO I will scream if Orgalorg isn’t in fucking Fiona & Cake, prime fucking opportunity. Also Tom Kenny’s “BEHOLD, I AM ORGALORG” was so badass even in his Tom Kenny styled voice holy shit.
