In Cleveland there was a press party which neither Jimi nor Mitch attended. Bored, I wandered into another of the hotel's 'function' rooms and found Leonard Nimoy having a press party for his new LP.

I hate to admit it, but I hardly recognised the star of my favourite television show without his Mr Spock ears. We snuck up to my room for a joint and commiserated over the utter boredom generated by press affairs.
