The sight of a group of friends laughing and overall having fun with one another was something he couldn’t take his gaze off of as he stood at the bus stop; opposite street of them. One person seemed to be the jokester of the group, an extrovert who unabashedly hollered at bystanders that walked by in a playful manner. They didn’t seem to care how they looked or acted out in public and that made Hisao envious.

“Seize the day.” Uttering that phrase unconsciously as he wished he could follow that mantra like the male across the street with his group of friends was doing. Averting his gaze to someone standing next to him, a girl, he cleared his throat before looking away from her. “S- Sorry, I was talking to myself.” He softly explained before pursing his lips again.

ASK PROMPT : ASK ME ABOUT MY OC

1: Origins! How did you come up with the concept for your OC?

Well, it may not make sense, but when I was in a phase where I could gush about nothing but the Dragon Age games, the thought of having dragons actually be the central point of the plot struck me. At first, I intended it to be a mix of humanoid beasts or hybrids of different species, and I originally made Ahnel a basilisk lizard, though dragons just win. I also switched back and forth on whether or not to make Ahnel a boy or a girl, but then I realized that there are very few fictional agender characters, and I wanted to try that out, so I gave Ahnel such a gender. 

The strange part is that Ahnel is character that I have developed the most, even though they’re only the tritagonist at best, because it was so interesting how they simultaneously play and defy the usual tropes ( that’s just my opinion ). I won’t lie, Fenris from Dragon Age 2 played a vital role in inspiring Ahnel ( and if you know Fenris’ backstory, you’ll get what I mean ), but I can assure you that Ahnel is not a copycat of him, and I made sure that their character would deviate from him. 

5: Were you nervous about putting your OC out there? How long did it take before you decided to play your OC here on Tumblr.

Of course I was nervous ; it was the first time I would be roleplaying, so I didn’t want to try it out then end up failing big time because everyone hated my OC ( and you know how critical many can be ). It took me even a month to ponder before I decided to brace it. Though I’m quite glad I did. 

7: What does your OC look for in a friend? Do they value friendship a lot?

Mainly, there is the willingness to converse with them, honesty, being logical, and not minding it when they ask a lot of questions. Ahnel may have learned a lot with just their EYES AND EARS ( no voice unheard, no sight unseen ; overseeing walls and grounds ), but if one is willing to tell them all they want to know about the WORLD without any ulterior motive, it’ll make it a lot easier for them to consider someone as a friend. As well-spoken as they are ( elegance with each letter ; SILK AND STEEL ), Ahnel never had a friend and is used to being either looked at strange, hunted, or simply treated like they’re there, if one makes an effort to approach them and not the other way around, it will capture their INTEREST.

If Ahnel does make a FRIEND, they will value it, but the concept is quite a fleeting matter to them. They know that even friendship itself is a double-edged sword, either because it attracts DANGER, or because one of them bears sinister intentions. Ahnel will not think much of friendship ( SURVIVAL over sentimentality ; a must, the one absolute ), yet they will not cast such things aside if they established a RELATIONSHIP with someone else. 

16: What are concepts they value? Virtues? What do they look down upon?

They lack MORALITY ( forever they shall be neutral ; neutrality – more of a savior than good ever would be ), yet Ahnel appreciates the virtue of honesty above all other virtues ; kindness meant little to them, compassion was partly foreign to their being. While they do not despise lies, it comes as refreshing to them when one speaks their opinions, albeit carefully ( on thin ice, on thorned grounds ). Ahnel also greatly values LOGIC AND REASON, while understanding that emotions can be powerful and even overtake all thought ( intelligence, only but a secondary achievement ). With this, they are not particularly fond of PETTINESS. Vengeance and the like are something they do not mind, so as long as there is an explanation behind them, perhaps even just because. Yet the inability to cast aside something insignificant and nurturing it until it becomes one’s downfall is DISTASTEFUL to their eyes. 

17: Do they have any guilty pleasures? They embarrassed about them? Do they flaunt them?

Ahnel has absolutely NO OPINION about sex, only viewing it from a scientist’s point of view ( to sate the soul, to bring forth another life ), therefore they have none. Even in their canon, when they are in a relationship with Caene ( of heavens and STORMS, of ICE and fury ; he melts what encases their soul ), the both of them rarely ever do it, since unlike humans, it is not inherent in their biological make-up to feel intense sexual urges every now and then. If it comes to the non-sexual guilty pleasures, there is also none that they have. For all their knowledge, they are still DETACHED from humanity and society itself ( danger : imminent and present among or even far from the masses ). 

At best, what can come close to a guilty pleasure is their strange sadistic streak, as they only feel the exhilaration during the bloodshed they create, and then feeling pure emptiness ( heart not beating ; a fun game ended too quickly ). At times, they accept it as it is, and other times, they are left with CONFUSION ( all of a questionable nature, lacking an answer that they crave ).

He tried to settle down the sheer anticipation bubbling inside him, to tone it down, to calm the reeling mind with a collected composure, fixed gaze, steady walking pace just slightly behind the head technician and whatnot. While in fact his mind was spurred the moment he received an order to face Dr. Chigyou - he has something for you, was what Amon was told - doesn’t explain much, does it? It’s not like he ordered a brand-new quinque recently, so he went on to ponder the reason he was brought forth into the laboratorium, attempts to subtly pry more about this ‘assignment’ being of no avail, with how Amon’s polite inquiries were killed midway courtesy to Chigyou’s hurried ‘you’ll see’s as they strode down flights and flights of stairs. The technician was most likely very excited.

     Amon saw childlike wonder reflected in Chigyou’s eyes, who, in turn, saw a less-intensive wonder and, more apparently, puzzlement reflected in Amon’s eyes when they arrived to their destination. The investigator went shut. Unanswered questions lead to more questions that threaten to spill out of his mouth. In the meantime, though, steel-blue irises took in everything the gigantic glass tube in front of them presented: A petite female; strands of gold flowing till her shoulders; toned muscles; lithe frame.

Just a girl, really.

    “Who is she?” Amon finally asked. Tearing his eyes off the glass and searching for answers on Chigyou’s face, the latter grinned instead. It wasn’t even mocking - more like a ‘my-efforts-finally-paid-off-look-at-my-MASTERPIECE’ heartfelt grin. 

Chigyou answered, “First-Class Amon, meet your new weapon and partner, Hannah.”

Though the situation did not involve her, she felt as if it did. It was only part of her nature to instantly go to the girl, some part of her felt guilty about not being able to stop it. Surely if she pushed her out the way, though she might get damaged it would involved the pain that organic lifeforms had to withstand when subjected to harm.

“That is an excellent decision, I shall bring you to a place of rest. During your time of rest, I shall look after you, is that fine by you?” Wishing for permission to assist even more, though she knew nothing of this girl it was only instinct for the household unit to have a need tend to anyone in pain.

Shit—that might not have been a pretty sight for them to see—him snapping a woman’s neck in a secluded part of the park. It was his job though and he could assure that the lifeless woman he was still holding wasn’t a good person when she was alive. “She’s dead now.” He said to them while they were still holding eye contact with Fang. No point in crying over spilled milk, although he hoped the girl wouldn’t make a big fuss about it because he didn’t want to have to put her to sleep.

What I Think About The Mun: The mun is really friendly and easy to get along for someone awkward and boring like me. Though at first when I checked Hannah’s bio my reaction was literally ‘O.O’, because Hannah is… like, 40 pounds heavier than me and I can almost imagine that. (sorry if this is rude but it makes me smile every time I think back about it) Yet it’s interesting at the same time so I decided to follow them and I didn’t regret it :). And Zelda thanks for talking to me at first because if you never messaged me I think we would never have talked or rped because I am shy as fuck and I dare not approach people whom I think are not friendly enough to make me feel comfortable. Other than that I heard you’ve been having some rough times, so I hope you’re better now. (how dare you ignore my ask you lil prick BI) but I know you’re a sweet girl so be nicer to yourself, okay? :) (note that above is only my personal opinions, and cannot be taken as a fact)

      Hannah has had a lot of things happen to her, but falling into a blonde boy after having tripped over her own feet was… not one of them. Well, now it was. And with a small yelp she lifted her head and stared at him in panic, cheeks completely red.

      “S-Sorry!!!” she screeched, seemingly frozen in her position on top of him. She was too mortified to even move! “A-Are you okay?!?!”

THIS really caught him off guard, but honestly, it would catch anyone off guard if something like this happened to them. He wasn’t expecting a blonde to suddenly fall on top of him, like literally, fall on top of him and not just fall on him without them both being dragged down to the ground.

The male let out a screech out of surprise as he couldn’t do anything about him falling down together with the other.

That was pretty painful though, since he was the victim of being the one under the other when falling and hitting the hard ground. At least the other person was okay-?

“ Nghh.. Itete-- ”

The blonde rubbed his head. Thank god his head didn’t get any serious injuries to the head when he fell.

He gazed over to the other blonde, who was apparently panicking right now.

“ U-Uh... Yeah, I am, don’t worry. How about you, miss? “

Shinji walked towards the ramen shop, sighing. Today had been a bad day piloting, to say the least, and now he just wanted to eat out to avoid returning to Misato’s apartment. Why do I have to do this? he thought. Why was I chosen to pilot...?

Shinji’s thoughts quieted down when he saw a blonde girl walking nearby. She looked very familiar, and despite his former feelings of sadness, he managed to smile. After all, he was going to the place where he had, ironically enough, met Hannah, and he hadn’t seen her in a while. “Hannah?” he called. “Is that you?” He jogged over. “Um... I haven’t seen you around lately... How are you?”
