"you have!" she snips back with a slight laugh, knowing what she was going to say already. kouvr hopes she still knows kalani as well as she used to. she messes with the ring adorning her slender finger as lips purse to the side, eyes averting when hers does. "i mean, would you have even have answered me? it was so hard for the both of us at the time. . maybe we needed a bit of space."

"i  haven't!"  she  exclaims,  arms  crossing  over  her  chest  in  defensive  mode,  eyes  rolling  as  she  lets  out  a  sigh.  if  they  weren't  able  to  work  through  this  then  maybe  they  weren't  meant  to  be  together  after  all.  kalani's  heart  thumps  as  the  blonde  began  her  words,  clinging  into  each  syllable  as  it  spills  from  lips.  eyes  searches  hers,  yet  her  head  dips.  "so..  you  think  about  me  a  lot..  why  not  try  and  reach  out  then?"

"i  haven't!"  she  exclaims,  arms  crossing  over  her  chest  in  defensive  mode,  eyes  rolling  as  she  lets  out  a  sigh.  if  they  weren't  able  to  work  through  this  then  maybe  they  weren't  meant  to  be  together  after  all.  kalani's  heart  thumps  as  the  blonde  began  her  words,  clinging  into  each  syllable  as  it  spills  from  lips.  eyes  searches  hers,  yet  her  head  dips.  "so..  you  think  about  me  a  lot..  why  not  try  and  reach  out  then?"

"like you haven't been picking at absolutely anything you can." she points out, a light scoff slipping into the air. eyes are glued onto the other, chewing on her bottom lip before the eye contact eventually breaks. "i mean. ." kouvr clears her throat slightly, trying her best to search for the words she desperately needs to say, something that's never been easy for her. "that's not exactly true," she starts, head dropping as she shifts her weight on her feet slightly. "i think about you a lot actually."

"like you haven't been picking at absolutely anything you can." she points out, a light scoff slipping into the air. eyes are glued onto the other, chewing on her bottom lip before the eye contact eventually breaks. "so,  now  you're  just  picking  at  that  since  we're  not  together  anymore."  brows  shot  up  at  the  blonde.  it  was  like  the  two  of  them  just  stood  there  staring  at  one  another  for  a  split  second  --  almost  as  if  they're  waiting  for  each  other  to  do  something.  .  .  as  if  she's  stuck  waiting...  "yeah,  but  it's  whatever,  right?  mean  after  all  seems  like  you  can't  even  stand  the  thought  of  being  around  me."

"so,  now  you're  just  picking  at  that  since  we're  not  together  anymore."  brows  shot  up  at  the  blonde.  it  was  like  the  two  of  them  just  stood  there  staring  at  one  another  for  a  split  second  --  almost  as  if  they're  waiting  for  each  other  to  do  something.  .  .  as  if  she's  stuck  waiting...  "yeah,  but  it's  whatever,  right?  mean  after  all  seems  like  you  can't  even  stand  the  thought  of  being  around  me."

"it's not a surprise," kouvr speaks frankly, her lips shifting into a thin line, especially after spotting her eye roll. almost wants to just go ahead and turn back inside but instead, her eyebrows are now jolting upwards. truly doesn't expect for things to shift in this way, almost stuck in place for a second. it's always like that when it comes to how she feels. "glad you're finally coming around to the idea that it wasn't all my fault. . ." she mutters, arms coming come to cross loosely, partially hugging herself.

"it's not a surprise," kouvr speaks frankly, her lips shifting into a thin line, especially after spotting her eye roll. almost wants to just go ahead and turn back inside but instead, her eyebrows are now jolting upwards. truly doesn't expect for things to shift in this way, almost stuck in place for a second. it's always like that when it comes to how she feels. "glad you're finally coming around to the idea that it wasn't all my fault. . ." she mutters, arms coming come to cross loosely, partially hugging herself.

"you  knew  that  the  moment  you  met  me,  don't  act  like  it's  such  a  surprise  now  that  you  find  it  annoying,"  femme  states,  eyes  flickering  over  towards  the  other  --  that  dry  laugh  causes  her  to  roll  her  eyes.  at  her  words,  she  pauses  --  this  might  be  the  last  time  the  two  do  see  one  another.  "i'm  just  saying  that  maybe  if  we  spent  a  little  less  time  at  each  other's  throats  and  actually  listening  to  one  another  then  maybe  we  would've  worked  out  in  the  end."

"god, the back and forth never stops with you." statement is laced with a groan, head tossing back as she spoke. a quick, dry laugh can't help but escape. kouvr narrows her eyelids slightly as she watches raven haired girl shake her head. "just say what you want to say, lani. . . this is probably the last time we're gonna see each other, right?"

"well,  you're  the  one  who  won't  return  my  things  --  could  very  much  drop  it  off,  but  you're  always  busy."  kalani  points  out,  though  her  items  weren't  really  things  that  she  needed.  maybe,  it  was  an  excuse  to  see  the  other.  eyes  shifts  over  towards  the  other,  brows  furrow  as  she  shakes  her  head.  "what?  nothing,  forget  it.  obviously  we  didn't  work  out  for  a  reason."

"i've always been able to handle you, kalani." blonde tells her as eyebrows lift upwards, shrugging as arms stay crossed against her chest. kouvr isn't too sure what to do at this point, staring at kalani for a second before letting out a quick laugh. it's almost hard for her to believe this is really happening. "right. do i need to walk you out or something?"

"now you can't handle it?" kalani rises a brow, thought that the other would get a kick at it -- least she was speaking to her now. better than before when kalani decided it was best to avoid kouvr anyway possible. despite words, it still didn't feel like the end -- but didn't want to utter out a word, too stubborn to. "well, guess i'll be seeing you around then. good luck in life."

"you're the one who showed up here, you could've stayed away and never seen me again." kouvr points out with the lift of her eyebrows. "you pick it. . ." blonde stops, eyebrows now furrowed and eyelids narrowed, slight confusion on her face. "wait." it takes a moment, kalani's words finally registering. "what do you mean we'd still be together?"

"of  you?  yeah,  constantly."  kalani  responses  back  nodding  her  head,  eyes  falling  over  towards  her  features.  "mm,  no  --  actually  i  don't  know  everything  because  if  i  did  we  still  would  be  together."  words  falls  from  lips,  eyes  darting  to  looking  over  features.  the  female  still  made  no  effort  to  pick  it  up,  in  hopes  that  the  blonde  would  do  it  for  her.  "oh,  c'mon!  the  sooner  you  do  it  the  sooner  i  leave."

kouvr can't help but let out a deep sigh due to mumbled words. "really shows what you think of me now. ." lips shift to the side, looking around. "whatever. come in."

"a part of me feels like you're being dead serious," she mutters shaking her head, running a hand through her hair. "no -- actually, i'm here for my things... and i'm here to return yours."

"of  you?  yeah,  constantly."  kalani  responses  back  nodding  her  head,  eyes  falling  over  towards  her  features.  "mm,  no  --  actually  i  don't  know  everything  because  if  i  did  we  still  would  be  together."  words  falls  from  lips,  eyes  darting  to  looking  over  features.  the  female  still  made  no  effort  to  pick  it  up,  in  hopes  that  the  blonde  would  do  it  for  her.  "oh,  c'mon!  the  sooner  you  do  it  the  sooner  i  leave."

"you sound like a broken record. do you ever get tired?" kouvr's eyebrows furrow together stiffly, head tilting to the side as she looks at her. she lets out a quick, dry laugh. "you always think you know everything." blonde's arms cross, shrugging for what seems like the millionth time. "i was, but all your little digs are getting really annoying."

"you sound like a broken record. do you ever get tired?" kouvr's eyebrows furrow together stiffly, head tilting to the side as she looks at her. she lets out a quick, dry laugh. "you always think you know everything." blonde's arms cross, shrugging for what seems like the millionth time. "i was, but all your little digs are getting really annoying."

“mm, yeah… guess so, but we both know you’re the one who ruined things.” and it wasn’t like kalani wanted to let her go, it was just something she couldn’t hold onto anymore. “a new one? don’t think they have an replacements for that thing anymore considering how old it is.” a scoff falls from her lips as she drops the items besides her car. “rude, you’re supposed to take it into my car.”

"bold of you to assume that when you know i'd just steal it to burn it."

"meanwhile i can recall all the times it was the other way around, funny how that works." lips shift into a thin line after she speaks, wondering how much longer this could possibly go on. she scoffs as she shoots a look, annoyance clear on her face. kouvr takes kalani's things and follows after her. "you'd only steal it so you'd have another reason to talk to me after this. am i ever gonna get rid of you?"
