#1 The Ice Guy and His Cool Female Colleague SB: Mankyuu ED: Atsuko Tonomizu

First impressions: It was super adorable and wholesome. A cool stoic girl and a literal ice person come together to create one of the most wholesome relationships I've seen in a while. The character designs in this show are very close to the manga's art style and the less shading actually works greatly in favor of the show's composition. Each individual has very unique facial expressions and their designs while simple will stick in your head.

I also wanted to mention the heavy composition throughout the entire episode, especially in the opening. It almost gives the same aesthetic as if it was a photo taken to be uploaded on Instagram with added filters, and for a show like this, I genuinely think it works out very well. It's gorgeous in its way of utilizing depth of field and a vibrant tonal shade to everything. It never feels too heavy, but it just fits the comfy vibe of the show's setting. It's as if you're looking through someone's picture-perfect Instagram posts of a perfect relationship.

The opening is also an absolute banger!

Errmmmm this show is kinda cute, but how long can they keep the ice jokes going? I’ll watch for now but might ditch depending on whether they get our main couple together or not (not a fan of blue balling hehehe)

Snowstorm in my Heart

For @kazuyumi1412 who wanted Himuro and Fuyutsuki from The Ice Guy & His Cool Female Colleague. Having a flustered handheld scene.

I remember watching this anime and remember it being pretty cute so i was happy to work on this. And thought it be cute if Fuyutsuki was making a snow cat in his hand with all the snow ending up accumulating in his hand, Himuro silently gushing on how cute she is. Though not all the silent with all the blizzards he is making. Not that she seems to mind being used to it.
