Just a couple of kookie birds hanging out 🤪🦚

There were 6 peacocks on my work property when I started. We fed them along with The Horde every morning, but didn’t interact with them much beyond that (we do our best not to harass wildlife and encourage others not to do it!). After a few months, I noticed one particular peacock getting closer and following me more and more. So one day after several months, I offered a scooper full of food to this particular peacock, Hiram. He immediately approached me and began to eat out of it! And thus, our quirky little friendship was born 😁 Now every day Hiram follows me around whenever I go outside, keeping me company and waiting for his snacks 😂

I don’t know much about avian behavior, my knowledge lies more with the feline species 😅 (So if anyone does have knowledge in this area, please reach out and let me know!) In cats, soft eyes and slow blinking is often a sign of trust and affection. Steve’s body language gives me relaxed vibes, so I feel safe assuming this means something similar! 🥰 

P.S. My friendship with Hiram began when I noticed him doing this to me one day 😁

So here is surprise Nr.1😂 Please don’t judge me too hard it’s only my 2nd digital drawing 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’d like to use this to clarify the importance of the KookieBird sex scene since literally nobody seems to get the actual message of the chapter. 1.JK is not cheating on Jimin. They broke up. He’s single. 2.It’s NOT a spontaneous reaction to the nightmare/Bird’s story. JK’s love for Bird is an allegory for his self love and his progress of healing. Bird is a mirror image of Min Yoongi but with Bird, JK doesn’t make the same mistakes twice! He is not going to lie this time (asks Bird for bite marks as a proof before they even start). What he does with Bird is the exact same thing Jimin did to Yoongi with JK. He claims the same right of having “a 2nd blossom”. Bird is a version of Yoongi that overcame his traumatic experiences by finally opening up to people. Talking to each other saved both JK and Bird! Please open your eyes: Save Me 3 is an exact repetition of Spring Day in Morbidity only that this time everything happens “right”❗️There’s even the exact same (!) dialogue before they part. And this time JK speaks his mind and confesses his love. He’s learned from his mistakes. The KookieBird sex is the Haeundae beach sex only sane and consensual: not rushed, no blood, they’re facing each other, both take care of each other’s climax (JK left Yoongi hanging). Just like Jimin realized for himself: it’s not only about him. This is about JK, Bird and their re-discovery of their self love through each other. I’d really appreciate if you could try to look beyond the question of KookieBird vs. JiKook and focus on what the story is actually about: healing. In terms of healing, this chapter is more than hopeful and empowering. JK did great! Bird did great! Jimin is doing great! Everybody has surpassed themselves, left their old insecure selves behind and is learning to follow their heart. JK’s love for Bird is the epitome of winning himself back. Bird teaches him self love and to wear his scars as medals 🏅 their physical reunion is not only Bird’s but also JK’s ultimate reunion with his own body! I listened to 'Outro: Tear' while reading the new chapter and let me tell you - I cried. Especially the end, the song was ending too and then Jungkook told Jayden that he loves him and the whole Sally and Jack thing. Girl, stop playing with my feelings. I am not ready for it to end. I need more, you're really breaking my heart here. Love you for writing this, it's really the greatest story I ever read. Gonna listen to 'The Truth Untold'during the next chapter - balling my eyes out the right way

Awww, thank you this made me really happy. I’m glad you appreciated the KookieBird love confession. So interesting that people start calling Bird Jayden now :3 I haven’t gotten around to really listen to the album yet :(( . I’m so busy atm and can’t seem to find the time to sit down and relax enough to really focus on it… Some readers told me that some parts of the lyrics actually really do remind them of my stories and I’m so curious to find out… I hope to listen to it when I’m on a train later tonight… 

It’s not the end of BiA yet! There’s still 1 full-length chapter and the epilogue (which is also not gonna be short) to come! But I’m low key also not ready for it to end. I’ve spent more than half a year on it now, having almost reached the end feel super surreal :O

WhAT Do U mEAn TaE. Honestly I can't even anymore. This, you and your story are just incredible. But I have to say - the way things are right now might be for the best. Jimin needs Jihoon, he takes care of him in a way that seems very needed(like yoongi minus the sex but maybe that is for the better too) and kookie needs Bird. By know I really want them(K&B)to be endgame just because I think Jimin and he aren't good for eachother(even w them being honest). They together-things will never change

I encourage you to reconsider the Jimin/Jihoon scene. It’s a lot more problematic than it may occur at first glance. In this very situation, Jihoon is acting extremely selfish, taking advantage of Jimin’s vulnerability and it turns out that he obviously tricked Jimin into believing that he could let his hair down in front of him even though he wanted to be more than just friends with him. My portrayal of Jihoon as asexual and therefore entirely selfless and altruistic was actually something that I hoped would be questioned by the readers way earlier… I’m aiming to bring up the issues that can arise in an asexual/sexual relationship like theirs in a realistic way. I think everybody is underestimating Jimin’s growth at that point and it makes me a little sad. As indicated with the use of the B-Jyun song, the story is basically all about the slow but constant progress that JiKook have made and the change they have already undertaken.So when you say that - as long as they are together - their situation will never change, it really makes me question everything I wrote and tried to convey so far. 

As said in Save Me 1, this story is more about staying alive than finding love… Who ends up with whom should not be the main focus… but rather how much the characters managed to develop and find their way back to themselves. I agree with you that KookieBird compliment each other perfectly but I’m kind of aiming for a bigger picture… I think if they find the courage to love themselves, loving each other will come naturally. There is one last very important step that JM and JK still have to take in their process of healing.

Loved "Twice As Blue"....but it honestly made me kinda greedy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ the little stare down between Jungkook and Bird and then what happened after...d'you think there is a possibility of Bird showing him just how in control he likes to be? Maybe something like u did in "TMOCB"? Love both works, amazing style of writing ~ ♡
