So i have a lot to say about this story but the main thing to take away is that this story broke my heart and healed it at the same time.

The morbidity of cherry blossoms and also butterflies in autumn are stories that i’ll never ever be able to forget and i think i cried more times while reading them than in all the times i’ve cried in my life combined.

The emotional attachment that i had to these characters, especially jungkook, was so unbelievably intense and following their growth as people really hit me in my heart.

Furthermore, these stories were written so beautifully and delicately, just the wording had me tearing up and reflecting on their meanings.

Overall i have just learned so so much through this series and am really grateful to have read such a story that ended up meaning so much to me. Thank you @iamspringday for writing this masterpiece. I think about it everyday.

I would like to end this with a small paragraph from the butterflies in autumn that really touched my heart:

Against the common belief, you don’t only have one soulmate. The heart is a garden. It grows all kinds of different flowers for the people that matter to us. Some flowers, in fact, do wilt, some are cut and then regrow, some are of the same kind and yet their blossoms look nothing alike. If we lose a person, it’s up to us to dry their flower and keep it behind glass to never catch dust. Look at it, its prevailing beauty and pick it up from time to time with the grateful smile only fond memories create on faces. There is nothing wrong with cutting out old roots and making room for new seeds. Some of them will bloom year after year for a very long time. Some of them will only last one season. We don’t always know which one is which. So take your time to admire every blossom.

I‘m lacking the words to express how touched I am by @youaremysunshinebunny decision to get the lighter and even the title of my story #themorbidityofcherryblossoms permanently inked on her body. It feels utterly surreal to see the tattoo designs I made up in my own head one someone else’s skin... It’s an honor I don’t really deem myself worthy of but on the other hand I am so incredibly grateful that @youaremysunshinebunny allowed the message of my story to speak to her on such a personal level. She combined the lighter, the cherry blossoms, butterflies to represent the soul and the title of my work with her favorite line in Spring Day to make up a design that holds dee meaning to her personally. I designed the lighter, the butterflies and even the cherry blossoms to represent different ways of self love and acceptance, a form of spring that is not a season but a personal decision. Yesterday @kitsupon_cosplay finally got her #hyyh tattoo. 🌸🌕The design of putting it in a full moon and decorating it with cherry blossoms was inspired by #themorbidityofcherryblossoms as a reminder that the power to shine lies within herself. Believe it or not, the project @henry_fanarts and I are working on together is still a thing! xD It’s connected to the planned print version of #herbstschmetterlinge and thus it can’t be revealed just yet. Last night @travelliciousblog surprised me with probably one of the most thoughtful birthday presents I received in my entire life. Basically it’s a framed photo of the photosession we had earlier this year. The location was an old factory during cherry blossom season :3 So last night, I learned that @travelliciousblog contacted @henry_fanarts (behind my back xD) and asked her to provide me with some company for that photo. So here I am, posing with JM, Bird and JK^^ @travelliciousblog photoshopped Henry’s drawing next to me and what you can’t see due to the censoring shooting star, I am looking at them and holding a pink lighter.
