I‘m lacking the words to express how touched I am by @youaremysunshinebunny decision to get the lighter and even the title of my story #themorbidityofcherryblossoms permanently inked on her body. It feels utterly surreal to see the tattoo designs I made up in my own head one someone else’s skin... It’s an honor I don’t really deem myself worthy of but on the other hand I am so incredibly grateful that @youaremysunshinebunny allowed the message of my story to speak to her on such a personal level. She combined the lighter, the cherry blossoms, butterflies to represent the soul and the title of my work with her favorite line in Spring Day to make up a design that holds dee meaning to her personally. I designed the lighter, the butterflies and even the cherry blossoms to represent different ways of self love and acceptance, a form of spring that is not a season but a personal decision. Yesterday @kitsupon_cosplay finally got her #hyyh tattoo. 🌸🌕The design of putting it in a full moon and decorating it with cherry blossoms was inspired by #themorbidityofcherryblossoms as a reminder that the power to shine lies within herself. “Somebody I hold very high once told me to wear my scars as medals.” 🏅🌕 I got this tattoo to remind myself of the message I developed in #themorbidityofcherryblossoms and #butterfliesinautumn. The idea to understand your scars - visible on the skin or hidden on the inside - as medals and let them become a constellation of stars to light your way home that is also conveyed in LuHan’s song “勋章 Medals”. The colors blue and yellow became the epitome of destiny for me, serendipitous encounters and lucky chances that simply can’t be mere coincidences. One of those instances being the very fact that I unexpectedly encountered my soulmate @iamspringflower through the stories I wrote just to cope with my very own trauma. I am super happy to hear that those of you who already read “Wings”, the epilogue of #butterfliesinautumn, apparently really enjoyed it :3 I keep getting so many touching messages that it will take me some days to reply to you all! Please be patient :3 I’ll work my way through all the replies I still owe you and then take a little break from writing in order to edit the German print version of BiA and finish the cover artwork. My next writing project will be a BTS x Studio Ghibli crossover AU! So far I’m expecting it to be a multi-chapter short story. It’s gonna be a partner project with my girl @iamspringflower (we’re gonna write 2 independent stories based on the same prompts) and the movie we chose is Spirited Away!🔮🐉 My take on the project will be dark, smutty and angsty as usual, definitely P18/rated M^^ 👅👻 I can’t determine when it will be released just yet... please keep watching out for teasers here on my IG! Tbh, I waited to make the joke about “Blue Bird and the Busan Bitches” ever since chapter 6 and it was pure satisfaction to finally drop it in the epilogue 🤣🤣🤣👌🏻 What better way to end this story with a freaking lame alliteration pun 🤓 Ok, but the real reason I’m writing this caption: my heart blooms at this wonderful piece, @gurasuchan_millionpages ♥️♥️♥️ Oh my God it feels so good to look at this... it’s like you had given me a receipt saying “You did it, Honey”... The semicolon is a popular tattoo design to indicate that you survived a suicide attempted and/or decided to find the strength to keep on living after contemplating suicide.
