Kong Lime Sprite

You realize Asian countries have big cities, and skyscrapers. And modern technology, that all of that is not only a thing in the West???

My guy, the Aang statue is very obviously inspired by the statue of liberty and the creator of Ford lives there. Republic city is "New York, but in the 1920s", and so I'm gonna point out that this american bullshit where it does not belong. Looking at a New York City inspired thing and saying "That's an american thing" is not the same as saying "And every asian city is just a tiny little vilage where everyoen is dirt poor and has to walk for a whole hour to have any acess to water."

And even if Republic City had instead been inspired by Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Seul or literally any major asian city - that still doesn't explain the HUGE leap in technology in between those shows that are last than 100 years apart. We went from a mostly feudal world with ocasional bare-bones industrial stuff that only one nation really had any access to (and that the show was constantly highlight could often be BAD for them) all the way to the prohibition era and World War I stuff. One more season and they'd reach the point of Korra having to airbend to save people from the deadly smog that is fucking up their lungs.

And even the name REPUBLIC city is peak "Americans have to remind everyone that their form of government is the only valid one, and thus force it in a world that clearly only works with absolute monarchies, tribal chiefs, or a crazy dictator." It's really no wonder the first villain Korra ever went up against was a shady dude that you knew was shady because he said the word "equality" a lot and that the whole fandom keeps saying is communist even though he didn't say anything communist-like.

An agent comes to visit Bee asking about a deadly assassin. How will she react?

A firm knock grabbed my attention as I was getting up from the couch. I had at least two hours left before it was time to go pick up Megumi and Tsumiki from school. I moved over to the front door and looked through the peephole to see a man in a black suit. I opened the door already staring at the thinned mustached man with distrust.

“Yes?” I asked and the man held up a badge.

“Agent Kong. Are you Beatrice Love?” he asked. I nodded once. “I’m leading an investigation on some robberies and even a few muggings going on in your neighborhood, may I come in?”

I looked him over and nodded opening the door wider so he could enter. I led him over to my bar.

“Would you like something to drink, lemonade, tea?” I asked.

“No thank you. Have you noticed any suspicious characters roaming around the neighborhood?” he asked, and I shook my head as my bar was the only thing separating us.

“Nothing too out of the ordinary.” I replied. He nodded with a low hum and pulled out what looked like photos.

“What about this man?” he asked. Although my eyes were calm, my heart was pounding as I stared at Toji’s rough stare. I looked the picture over some noticing it wasn’t exactly a mug shot. I shook my head.

“Never seen him before.” I replied. Why was I lying? It was obvious Toji’s odd jobs were shady dealings. I remembered the time he came home with blood on his clothes. Agent Kong nodded eyeing me suspiciously. He knew I was lying, but he couldn’t prove it!

“Miss Love, take a closer look. This man is Toji Fushiguro, one of the underworld’s most lethal assassins. He has killed many. Men... women...” he said. I tensed some at his words as I eyed the picture.

“I see… I’m sure you know of my background Mr. Kong. I am an heiress why would I associate with lowly criminals?” I asked. He nodded.

“I know a lot about you and your family fortune Miss Love, which is why I reached out to you first. Sitting in this apartment all alone with no protection, no body guards. You’re a sitting duck for anyone who would want to make a quick buck off you.” he said. I waved my hand, waving off his words.

“I don’t bother to worry about such things. I thank you for your concern and checking up on me,” I said now moving to walk over to the door. Taking the hint Agent Kong moved back to the door. I could hear heavy footsteps approaching the door. Oh no. “But I do not know this man.”

And on cue, the door was unlocking and opening up and standing in the doorway was Toji in the black hoodie I bought him months ago. Agent Kong turned to him and Toji frowned with confusion as he had two white bags in his hand.

“The fuck you doing here?” he asked, but I didn’t hear him, because I was doing something that caught all three of us off guard. My body jumped atop of the back of the Agent and we both yelled out: Agent Kong from shock and me of confidence, almost like a war cry.

“HEY WHAT ARE YOU DOING!” Agent Kong yelled out, and I immediately covered the man’s eyes and started attempting to gouge at them.

“RUN TOJI I’LL HOLD HIM OFF!” I yelled trying to wrestle the guy to the ground.

“HEY GET OFF ME! TOJI GET HER OFF!” Agent Kong snapped trying to pull me off him. I couldn’t believe I was trying to fight an agent of the law. He knew I was aiding a wanted criminal! I could go to jail, well maybe not. I have a lot of money and good lawyers, so I wasn’t too worried about me. But if anything, I was worried for Toji. I didn’t want him to be taken away from his kids or really taken away from me.

Now there was a low rumble that I had heard before and now Agent Kong and I paused as we looked at Toji who let out a booming laugh to the ceiling, tears swelling on his lash line. He sat the bags down and approached me with a smile putting his hands under my underarms to remove me.

“At ease Mama, Shiu’s a friend.” he exclaimed as he pealed me off the man’s back and set me down. I looked at Toji confused.

“What?” I asked before looking at the agent who was straightening up his suit jacket and cleared his throat.

“Yes, well I wanted to make sure you were legit. When Toji kept boasting that he was staying with a beautiful woman who he and his kids adored, I needed to make sure you were on the up and up in the loyalty department.” he said. I arched a brow and glanced at Toji.

“I’m guessing he is your source?” I asked speaking back on the first time Toji found out about my wealth and background. He shrugged.

“Maaaaybe.” he said and in response I pinched his nipple. He jumped up and hissed covering his nipple now. Shiu watched with an arched brow.

“Yeah, I see why he’s crazy for you.” he said and Toji shot him a glare.

“Next time you want to do a loyalty test, tell me so I can tell you not to do it. Bee’s down, I trust her.” he said placing his hand around my hip. Shiu just cleared his throat.

“Obviously. Anyways I got a job for you.” he said. Toji gave the thumbs up and pointed at the door.

“Let’s go to your car, I don’t talk business here.” he commanded, and the man nodded and looked at me with a smile.

“It was nice meeting you Miss Love.” he said. I smiled.

“Likewise, and please everyone calls me Bee.” I replied. He nodded and moved to the door and stepped outside. Toji smirked down at me and gave me a heartfelt kiss. I was stunned by the sudden movement.

“What was that for?” I asked when he pulled back licking his lips.

“You were willing to fight a man you thought was a cop to give me time to “escape”. I appreciate the sentiment, but know I’ll never put you in a position to have to do that.” he said seriously, and I looked up at him with a smile nodding in thanks.

"Well I just didn't want you to be taken away from your children... or me." I replied. He groaned.

"You're so sexy when you care about me." he purred.

“Thank you.” I replied and he smirked and kissed the tip of nose.

“I’ll be back and then we can chill before picking up the kids then we can go out to eat!”

“Sounds good darling.” I replied.

Wu "Kei Lun" (Qilin/Unicorn) aka Wu "No Name".

Only a few know his actual name, including his boss, Yuen Kong. Wu's a member of the Red Arrow triad and is the boss's personal bodyguard, a natural choice since he's known to be stealthy and extremely skilled in hand to hand combat. He went missing along his boss after the whole dispute with the Dragon's Tooth broke out, but unlike Kong, Wu's whereabouts remain a mystery. Some speculate he sold out and betrayed the triad, forcing himself to go into hiding, some others believe he's dead but there's no longer a body as the killers harvested it all fot his mechanical augs. Either way, something shady was going on as he was seen hanging out with a gweilo a couple of times. ---- Paul-centric character, meant for Paul to interact with during his Hong Kong days. Since I headcanon Paul as the best melee nano augmented fighter, I made Wu to be the one who taught him some exclusive-augmented-human combat fundamentals. Cuz having mechanical parts that enhance some habilities but also hinders some others in your body would definitely require a special combat system made for it. Wu taught Paul a "mechanical" combat system made for mechanical bodies, to which Paul, as a smart dude himself, adapted for the special needs a nano augmented body requires, as mechs and nano people are different.

Yes absolutely.

Pigsy initially thought that "Wu and Mihou" were a pair of crazy kids who's respective parents didn't approve of their relationship/future baby, and they fled to the mortal realm to be together.

But now with the knowledge that the two don't have family out there?

It makes Pigsy, Tang, and Sandy super nervous about what these two are hiding from.

And of course there's the arrival of "Nez" - Wu's "little cousin" whose dad just kicked him out, and the kid has clear signs of an abusive upbringing.

Pigsy gets a bit protective. He and the other two have discussed the possibilities of the two monkeys being political refugees - that they angered someone out there in the underworld and don't want their baby wrapped up in it.

Some of Wu's habits and resources also bring his origins into question... Pigsy grumbled about the rent one day and within hours an envelope of cash sent from the office of someone called "Fire Star" appeared in his doorway - the only other identifier being a note written in traditional Chinese saying the money was "an investment from a close party".

Pigsy is currently on the theory that "Wu" is actually the heir to some shady Underworld inheritance, and he's hiding out in Megapolis to shelter his mate and future kid from being used as bargaining chips.

As long as the monkeys don't bring harm to his friends, or to their kids (Since Nez is clearly here to stay), Pigsy won't delve deeper into the matter.

Tang: "What if they're actually Sun Wukong and an old ally of his? The names are kinda suspicious on their own." Pigsy: "Seriously Tang?? "Wu" and "Kong" names are like the most common monkey demon names out there. Nearly half the phonebook for Xiānhuaguo is Sun-something. It's like me asking if you're the Tang Monk 'cus of your name." Tang, still unsure: "Hmm. I suppose you are right." Pigsy: "Of course I am."

but ok so!! my newest oc (not rly newest bc i had her in the godzilla/kong monster verse before but now she’s in jurassic world) is named inez (last name pending. perhaps gonzalez?) who is a remember of the tun-si tribe (part of the indigenous bribri people of costa rica). the tun-si (known as “water men”) inhabited isla nublar when InGen came and forcibly displaced them from the island to make room for their new dinosaur park. inez’s immediate family and some others were able to hide out in the park and stay longer, especially after the park closed — they learned to coexist with the dinosaurs and developed a deep, seemingly mutual respect for the animals.

inez was born in 1999, three years before masrani global repurchased the land for their new park, jurassic world. inez’s family was found soon after and her parents killed — she was adopted by a white shareholder couple visiting the island to see how construction was going. as an adult (after the events of camp cretaceous), she becomes a paleontologist and works with companies that have shady dinosaur dealings to try and bring them down from the inside. she’s particularly bonded with one young baryonyx she’s affectionately dubbed “honey” — this is because she raised honey from a child when she went back to nublar for research (at the vehement disapproval of everyone else). she left her family as soon as she turned 18 and hasn’t looked back, hating them for what they took from her and the damage they did to her homeland and the dinosaurs her and her family were so fond of. she feels as if the dinosaurs are all she has left.

under the cut r some piccrews i made for her + her actual face claim :3 the first piccrew takes place s1 of camp cretaceous, inez is 15 and her look symbolic of her parents control over her — gelled down curls in two braids, clothes she’d never wear, and anything to make her assimilate more and look more “controlled” (white); the second is inez during s3-5 of camp cretaceous, when she’s been out on the island and the wild for nearly a year. her hair is wild, and she has a scar from a utahraptor attack that happened when she tried to run from camp after a fight with her friend rio; in the third, inez is around ~21, and this is 6 years after the events of camp cretaceous, where she works as a paleontologist. she technically lives w her friend rio, but she’s often on one of the three islands (nublar, mantah corp, or sorna) illegally for her work. she actually met honey on nublar and I fear I have an entire story for that I could talk your ear about. her friends don’t know the entirety of her work & for their safety, they never will (this gets completely destroyed during the events of chaos theory).

she’s also primarily shipped with kenji kon (& occasionally ben pincus) bc I think it’s interesting given his proximity to power/family history of harming dinosaurs and exploiting her island). :3

So, anyone who believes our FL is the unknowing reincarnation of Cang Hai, the ruler of Moluo and the lover memory of whom Chu Kong lost, raise your hands. That's everyone, right?

OK, so we first hear of our ML as some sort of big wig God of War who's been in seclusion to recuperate after his big battle with ruler of Moluo, Cang Hai.

Apparently that battle was so fierce, he not only lost half his primordial spirit, but his memories about the battle and surrounding events were wiped out. FISHY FISHY FISHY n1.

We then soon learn that Cang Hai was apparently a wise and popular ruler and leader of the six realms but ooops, an oracle said she's go evil and have to be offed. How convenient. Goodbye Moluo realm, welcome supremacy of current heavenly realm.

And then Cang Hai somehow (via means unspecified and for reasons unspecified except "prophecy") went evil and how nice, God of War (and brother of current heaven ruler, hmmmm) Chu Kong appeared to defeat her. Fishy n2 swims to join fishy n1.

I remember LBFAD where the fairies kept telling the glorious story of their victory over the evil Dongfang Qingcang who led people who had the temerity to object to fairies conquering them. Hmmm, anyone is getting the same feeling?

It's pretty clear something way different went down there because not only is it clear Chu Kong has forgotten the battle, his shady royal brother remembers stuff he does not. He is VERY curious why his brother is willing to do love tribulations due to the fact that apparently CK is averse to any sort of romance for 30K years (which is telling in and of itself since that's the length of time Cang Hai has been dead.) Also, brother's reaction when Chu Kong confidently proclaims he can take evil evil Cang Hai down the battle with whom he does not remember but is sure had it coming is shadier than a giant maple forest. Fishy n3 swims to join the group.

Then there is the last surviving royal of whatever who's been haunted by his whatever to CH and keeps thinking she will be resurrected and goes spare when he sees our marriage fairy and flashes back to CH who looks exactly the same.

The prince dude plain text tells him that the woman he's pining for 30K years is someone Chu Kong met and lost memory of.

And the way he asks this, it's very clear that the official story is way way way off in a way he'd probably find huge to know:

Oh, and then Chu Kong sees FL on the bridge and gets an epic headache and begins remember vague flashes which are CLEARLY CLEARLY on above evidence with Cang Hai and it is one 100% clear that they were in love and whatever way that battle went, it did not go the way the official narrative says since we see him running after her in wedding clothes and holding her hand trying to prevent her from falling off a cliff Wei Wuxian style.

And now with 5 fishies we have a fish school and can dismiss the class.

punch out pokemon au ‼️

so i realized that punch out wii has 13 opponents (not counting donkey kong) that are divided up in such a way that they could all be opponents in a pokemon game! the minor and major circuits are the 8 gym leaders, the world circuit is the elite four, and mr sandman is the champion! it's too perfect! i've at least decided everyone's type specialties, sooo....

gym leaders (minor & major circuits):

- glass joe: flying types

i imagine joe is not as miserable in this au, since the first gym leader's job is literally to lose a lot to young trainers. he's not too skilled at battling, and became a gym leader by accident. his team is made up of two measly kalosian flying types, fletchling and vivillon.

- von kaiser: rock types

i know herr kaiser is typically associated with steel, but steel types are way too cool to be the type of the second gym. sorry. i imagine his students are his gym trainers. his ace is rockruff, and maybe he uses something classic like geodude as well.

- disco kid: electric types

these moves are ELECTRIC! i think this one is self-explanatory. disco kid is pretty good at battling, at least good enough to secure a spot as the 3rd gym leader, but he also doesn't take things too seriously. his team is made up of pokemon that he befriended first and trained for battle later, with his ace being raichu.

- king hippo: ground types

did i give him the ground type just so i could give him hippowdon? ...maybe. there's not much else for me to say about king hippo... he's just chilling. good for him. i was originally gonna give him the poison type, but i'll be giving that type to someone else. ;)

- piston hondo: ghost types

what can i say? he seems like a ghost type guy. obviously he gets a revaroom, because honda and all that. he absolutely feeds his pokemon only the best of snacks.

- bear hugger: normal types

what comes to mind when you hear "bear hugger" and "pokemon"? obviously it's bewear. that is his ace, without a doubt. he also has a greedent and a snorlax, it's way too perfect! and of course, they all like raw fish.

- great tiger: psychic types

yeah i don't think i need to explain this one. the man has a medicham (his ace) and an espeon. this also fits the theme of psychic gym leaders tending to have psychic powers themselves. do you think it's legal to use your own psychic powers to trip up your opponents in a battle? let's not worry about it...

- don flamenco: grass types

it goes without saying that this man has a roserade for his ace, as well as an equally powerful arboliva. maybe carmen is one of his gym trainers, or perhaps she's only there to cheer him on? and do you think he would acquire a shiny roserade for his title defense fight to match his all-black look?

elite four (world circuit):

- aran ryan: bug types

what an absolute bug of a man. starting off the elite four strong with a not-so-strong type, aran ryan chose the generation 7 bug type vikavolt to be his ace. he also has a shedinja, which sports the electric tera type and the air balloom item in his title defense fight. really? (for non-pokemon nerds, this setup makes it nearly unkillable. it's practically cheating!) aran has a questionable background, and seems to have been affiliated with some shady people in the past...

- soda popinski: water types

mister popinski has a love for both water and ice types, and he's in luck because a good few pokemon are both! his ace is one of those, that being walrein. he also has a lapras. he's quite fond of giving his team the soda pop item as opposed to normal healing items during battle.

- bald bull: fire types

red is the color of anger, and also the color of the fire type, so naturally this angry man would gravitate towards fire types, especially the fire type bull that is paldean taurous. he also uses a magmortar. of course bald bull isn't angry ALL the time, and spends his free time relaxing with his pokemon. warm pokemon give warm hugs :]

- super macho man: dragon types

of course everyone's "favorite" show-off uses what's generally regarded as one of the most powerful types. his ace is a kommo-o, a very cool one at that. (i like smm and i like kommo-o. but it works!) he also has an appletun, which was a gift to him from a certain someone... oh my god, this au lets macho man literally release the beast. amazing.

the champion (mr. sandman)

sandman does not use just one type, as is the case with most champions. he has a gengar and a musharna, for obvious reasons. he also has a crabominable and and a hydrapple. he was mysteriously missing after mac defeated the elite four, but i'm sure he'll come back soon. right?

i'm sure nothing bad will happen ;)
