Honestly, the Columbo renaissance makes me think Tumblr would LOVE Komissar Rex. The format is very similar, from what I see of Columbo, plus it's set in Vienna so there's lot of Dark Academia AestheticTM, and there's an adorable German Shepherd dog that helps save the day every episode??? I do understand it's not as well known in the US because it was an Austrian production made in German, but...

I've never heard of this series! It sounds great; I always love looking into new mystery series. And Tumblr defiently does love all those things

And to answer this question: not really. I do love the German show Babylon Berlin. That's pretty much it. There used to be a lawyer show called Edel & Starck which I also loved. Sometimes there are mini TV shows that I really enjoy. In general, I find German cinema in particular very lacking.

29. does your region/city have a beef with another place in your country?

Most of Germany agrees that we don't like Bavaria 😂and I think (at least political) Bavaria doesn't care much for Berlin cause we're expensive and live in mayhem.

30. do you have people of different nationalities in your family?

I do. My sister-in-law isn't German and there are aunts and uncles that aren't either. I also have family in the US we know nothing about. I wonder if they know anything about us.

Ok, apart from the fact that I really need to start write again and finish all those WIPs, it seems like I just love to put the reader in the middle of the story (in medias res, that's what it's called right?).

Hi, ich hoffe ich störe nicht! Schönen Samstag dir! Weißt du, wie der Schauspieler und die Schauspielerin heißen, die in dem Gifset mit Mikkelsen auch in close-up-Aufnahmen gezeigt werden? Oder wie deren Charaktere heißen, dann geh ich selber suchen? Die kommen mir irgendwie sehr bekannt vor, aber ich hab nie Hannibal gesehen. (Du hattest das virbsehr kurzer Zeit erst gerebloggt und mit "#hannibal experiences a microaggresion" getaggt)

Natürlich störst du nicht! Die Frau in blond ist Gillian Anderson als Dr Bedelia Du Maurier - sie hast du bestimmt schon mal gesehen, sie war Scully in den X-Files. (Außerdem sieht man sie auch ganz oft hier auf Tumblr aus ihrer Rolle in Sex Education.) Bei Hannibal hat sie eine der Hauptrollen und ist in allen Staffeln dabei.

Bei ihm war es tatsächlich etwas schwerer herauszufinden!

Der Schauspieler ist Rinaldo Rocco als Professor Sogliato. Ich habe auch bei ihm mal geguckt, wo er sonst noch drin ist, aber er ist hauptsächlich im italienischen Film und Fernsehen (d.h. wenn du da viel guckst, dann kennst du ihn vielleicht aus ein paar Rollen?) - und er war bei Komissar Rex dabei, was ich sehr lustig finde. Bei Hannibal ist er eigentlich auch nur kurz dabei in den ersten Folgen der dritten Staffel.
