Note(s): So this was a request I had in drafts but accidentally posted before it was finished. Basically it was Josuke, Rohan, Okuyasu, and Koichi reacting to S/O (platonic for Koichi) with a sentient stand (like the stand had its own personality and bickered with S/O)

Josuke

I feel like how he reacts really depends when it comes to your stand. Sometimes he finds it amusing how you two bicker like siblings. Other times, he wants your stand to piss off so he can make out with his partner.

Probably makes it clear that he's dating you and not your stand. Doesn't care about your stand's sentience except when it comes to your safety and the relationship you and him have. So yeah, there's boundaries that will be set when it comes to your stand.

I mean, it's bad enough that his mom yells at him to keep the bedroom door open or interrupts when he's ready to kiss you. Having your stand making comments will make him lose it. (he loves you, but he cannot control himself if your stand mentions his hair)

Koichi

He's curious about your stand because it's similar to his in how it talks. Of course, he thinks he gets along better with Echos (even though the stand could be better at explaining things).

Has tried to have conversations with your stand before, only to be taken aback by how different it is to you. Not that that's a bad thing! It's just intriguing to him.

Is a bit worried for you and your stand. Sometimes the bickering sounds like it's going to escalate and he doesn't want you to be harmed by your own stand. Let him get Josuke real quick before you start actually fighting please.

Okuyasu

Immediately tries to get his own stand to talk. He's only seen Koichi's stand talk and it mostly cusses. Okuyasu finds it wild that you can have full conversations with your stand and he tries to get The Hand to do the same.

Probably pouts that he can't talk to his stand, but you're quick to reassure him because your stand has terrible opinions. To which your stand pipes you and it starts an argument that Okuyasu has no problem stepping in and giving his opinion.

Like Josuke, Okuyasu will find it a bit annoying when he wants to give you some loving and your stand pipes up to be annoying. He has forgotten all about kissing you because he started a conversation with your stand instead.

Rohan

It inspires Rohan to outline a new character in his manga or maybe even have some spinoff series for a side character in his manga.

Might ask a question just to get you to bicker with your stand. He wants to see exactly how sentient your stand is.

Rohan has probably asked to use his stand on you to see if he's able to also change how your stand acts. It wouldn't be a permanent change, but he really wants to see what is possible with your stand.

-So considering that by the end of part 4 he stole Joseph's wallet and not only that but he also has his own savings, most certainly this man would take you to somewhere both expensive and cheap

- And would most certainly spoil you letting you order everything you want (as long as his account doesn't end in ceros )

- I see him ordering his favorite food and letting you try it out, if you like it he would definitely buy you a plate for your own if you want to

-In general a silly boy who would spoil you with anything you request with the money that isn't his!

Okuyasu:

-I mean both Josuke and Okuyasu have a good part of money thanks to the lottery ticket so I think he would also take you out on a date in a fancy restaurant

-I have a headcanon that Okuyasu just spends money non stop without caring to save so just as Josuke, he would buy you anything you want

-To most certainly a point where he would almost run out of money or something like that

-Honestly I don't see him being the type to share his food for some reason, but he would offer to buy you a plate of his own favorite food if it drew your attention....and eat it if you didn't liked it

Koichi:

- Being the sweet boy he is he would definitely let you pick where you want to go, as long as you are happy he is too

- And if it wasn't the case and he decided to take you somewhere it would most likely be a suggestion he got from his older sister

- Would order his favorite food and allow you to try some if you want a taste

- Definitely he would make sure you are enjoying the time in the restaurant (or cafe ) buying anything you might want!

Rohan:

- Since he's a very busy mangaka I doubt he would care if the place is expensive or not as long as he can eat something after a long day drawing non stop

- Would order his favorite food for both of you , but if you don't want it or didn't like it he would make it up to you buying your favorite food

- The whole time he would be looking as around for things that could work as inspiration for his work, and for no one's surprise he would start drawing those things in his notebook

- Lastly if he's way too anxious to arrive home soon to start working properly he would order the food to go, but at least he would let you eat on his office while you watch him work! ( Just try not to spill any food )

Duwang Gang Goes to Halloween Horror Nights

A/N:

Josuke Higashitaka

Josuke was so down to go with you. He thought it would be a fun little date night for you two. Though he'd never been to an event like this before, he thought it would be like an extreme Trick or Treat. Except instead of candy, you just get scared? He wasn't too sure what to expect.

The scare actors get him, but Josuke takes it in stride. He doesn't linger for too long after a scare. He just laughs it off with you. He seems to be having a lot of fun, despite his occasional yells and shrieks. If you get scared, he'll grab you and pull you in, telling you that he'll protect you from all the ghouls running around. He's taking the brunt of all the scares for you.

That being said, Josuke and you will alternate who goes first into the houses. He's not too picky about it. He'll have fun no matter what. The whole time, Josuke is cracking jokes about the scare actors and the scenery. Telling the creepy doll actress that he couldn't see her down there, or seeing a guy get his neck 'snapped' and saying that it's gonna be sore in the morning. By the time you leave the house, you're tearing up because he's made you laugh so hard. You're not even scared.

The food and the shows are also fun for Josuke. He's down to try whatever you want to try. He likes to sit down and eat or drink something during a show. It gives you time to relax and recharge before you get back to getting scared. You like to make a little 'game plan' of how you'll tackle the rest of the houses you want to go to after the show. If you just want to chill out, he's fine with that too.

You both are pretty tired when you get home. Most likely, you'll flop into bed and fall asleep pretty quickly, leaving your discussion about the night until the morning. Though you're exhausted, you've had a lot of fun, and Josuke is seriously considering asking you to go again next year.

Okuyasu Nijimura

Okuyasu. The ultimate yes-man. Okuyasu was excited to go with you, because he'd never been to such an event. They didn't have crazy Halloween events like this in Morioh. He thought it would be something new to check out. And what better way to check out something interesting than making it a date night?

The scare actors do get Okuyasu, more than he'd like to admit. One jumps out at him, and he shrieks. But then he turns around and sees you laughing. Why are you laughing? He almost died! That's no laughing matter! Until he comes to realize he's actually in no danger, and the scare actors aren't going to kill him. Then, he's laughing with you.

He's willing to go first into a couple houses. Okuyasu, though easily frightened, is really interested in the houses himself. He likes how realistic they are. He's amazed how it looks like you've just walked right onto the set of a horror movie. Of course, because he's not paying attention, he gets scared by someone jumping out at you, and he shrieks. After composing himself, he continues on, finding he's having more fun than he thought he would.

Okuyasu is captivated by the shows. All the effects and actors are dazzling and amazing to him. The stunts and dancing are impressive. He's wondering how they do it, but not so intently that he's missing the action. If its a comedy, he's laughing the whole time to the point where he's crying. He's having a great time, whatever you're doing.

The food is one of the highlights of your night. Okuyasu wants to try it all. It's not as amazing as Tonios, but he's enjoying it nonetheless. You might have to police him on his eating. He might eat too much and give himself a stomach ache, and that won't be pleasant to deal with.

When you go home, Okuyasu isn't tired. He rambles to you as you put your pajamas on about how amazing the night was, and if you can do it again next year. Better yet, he wants to make it a thing you do every year. You agree for the time being. Right now, you're a bit too exhausted to think about planning another trip. You end up falling asleep to his excited ramblings about the night.

Koichi Hirose

Koichi didn't really want to go with you. He didn't think he'd like getting scared and chased around in the dark, or going into cramped houses where you can barely see an inch in front of your face. But, he didn't have the heart to tell you no.

So you walk through the gates, and Koichi is immediately accosted by an aggressive zombie. It lunges at him and growls, and poor Koichi is terrified out of his mind. He grabs hold of you and refuses to let go of you for the rest of the night. You repeatedly tell him that he's not actually in any danger. The chainsaws aren't real, nothing at this event is, but Koichi's nerves don't subside.

You'll most likely be the one going first into the houses. Koichi would go first, but he has a habit of freezing and grabbing onto the nearest person (almost always you) when he gets scared. So, he might hold up the line, should he go first. Koichi is thankful that you're the brave one, heading straight into the chaos and taking every scare like a champ. If he could get his head out from being buried in your back, you might see hearts in his eyes.

Koichi would rather watch the shows and try the snacks at the event. He thinks the shows are cool and fun to watch, and the food is great, in his opinion. He enjoys the little moments where you get to sit down and chill out from a moment. It's a well-needed break from all the scares, and from standing around in a line for hours.

Once you arrive home, Koichi is still a bit of a wreck. He'll try to get ready for bed, but he keeps feeling like the horror isn't over. What if one of those scare actors followed him home, and they're waiting to get him when he's asleep? He'll knock on your door and ask to sleep with you, just so someone can make sure he's alive in the morning.

Rohan Kishibe

It was going to be a no. Note the use of the word, 'was'. Rohan was not interested in going to a large and crowded event where he would be harassed all night by grown adults in costumes. But, Rohan thought about it for a moment and had that thought he always has:

Rohan is not phased by the actors jumping out at him. Those chainsaw-wielding maniacs can't even get him to flinch. He's scoffing at you the whole night, about how something so juvenile could scare you. When he's not scoffing at you, he's laughing at you. Yes, at you. Rohan will laugh at you when you inevitably get scared.

Though the houses are a little too cramped for Rohan's liking, he's not passing up the chance to get more inspiration. Like Okuyasu, he's impressed by the scenery. Everything looks so impeccably decorated and lit to resemble reality, he's almost a bit jealous. He's not paying attention to the scare actors jumping out at you. He's too busy noting every detail in his brain for future use. When he does notice the scare actors, he's taking so many notes about how realistic their wounds appear.

Rohan will sit through the shows and continue noting more inspiration that he deems appropriate. He's appreciative of the entertainment, but he's also impressed with the quality of the show and it's effects.

He'll try the food. He deems the items a bit too sugary or greasy for his taste. He'll have a bite of whatever you get, but that would be it. You try to encourage him to eat a little bit more, as you are walking around all night, but he declines. He feels eating too much of that crap might make him sluggish. And you wouldn't want your beloved Rohan to be too tired to accompany you for the rest of the night, would you?

By the end of the night, Rohan is a little tired, but he won't openly admit it. He'll get himself ready for bed and fall asleep rather quickly. If you want to talk about the night, best save it for the morning. It's not that he didn't have his fun, but, he's a little drained from the event. Once he wakes up in the morning, he'll indulge some conversation about the night.

as the crawler, he was always helping people, no matter if it was saving them from a villain, helping them if they got lost or simply mediate during an argument

no good deed was too small for koichi, so when he found out about a clingy ex of yours, he knew he had to help you!

but since you insisted that you didn't want the crawler to help you, but koichi haimawari, he suggested he'd play your boyfriend, to show your ex he had missed his chance with you!

besides, it wasn't like the two of you weren't close already! you had a spare key to his apartment (though you weren't the only one) and the two of you occasionally got mistaken as a couple by pop or makoto!

the only thing that changed between the two of you, as you began to fake a relationship, was the physical displays of affection

despite feeling a bit awkward at first, koichi always hold your hand in public and kissed you goodbye on the cheek, when dropping you off at school

soon, rumors began to spread about you and your new boyfriend and even your ex began to hear about them

one day after school, while you were waiting for koichi to pick you up, he approached you. at first, you were worried he'd start an argument, but that couldn't be further from the truth

your plan had worked! your ex actually apologized to you, noting that he saw you and your new boyfriend the other day and how sorry he was to cause you two trouble

after all, you two were so clearly in love with each other. you never looked at him the way you looked at koichi. he knew it was serious between you two, so he promised to leave you alone from now on

while you should be happy it was finally over, his words stuck in your head. you never looked at him the way you looked at koichi... was this really true?

though you didn't have much time to think about it, as koichi showed up, to pick you up. and when he asked about the reason you were talking to your ex, you found yourself telling a little lie

instead of confessing that it was over now and that you had no reason to keep pretending, you instead told koichi that you'd have to keep this fake relationship up for a little longer

and while you weren't a great liar, koichi decided not to point it out. after all, he didn't mind being your boyfriend…

“Well, I mean… if you were a worm, you’d still be you, right?” He scratches the back of his head, thinking.

“I’d probably find a way to use Crazy Diamond to, I dunno, turn you back into yourself or something. But yeah, I guess I’d still love you.” He smirks playfully “I’d just have to make sure you don’t get stepped on.”

I feel like he’s the type who would try to turn a weird question into a chance to make his partner laugh, all while showing his genuine care.

Koichi Hirose

“A w-worm?” His eyes widen in surprise, and his cheeks turn a little red.

“Well… I mean… if you were a worm, I’d have to figure out how that happened first! But even if you were, I’d—” He pauses, getting serious.

“I’d still care about you. You’re more than just what you look like… So, yeah, I would.” He gives a small, reassuring smile.

“And I’d probably study how to keep you safe in your new worm body too, just to be sure.”

Koichi would think it through and take it seriously, as he’s always concerned about his partner’s well-being.

Okuyasu Nijimura

This man is so confused 😭 would 100% overthink it, but not the bad kind of overthinking, just genuinely takes his time to think the question through even tho he rarely ever think but for you he will

“Wait, wait, a worm?” He stares at you, trying to process it, scratching his chin.

“Like, how small of a worm? One of those tiny ones or like a big one?” He furrows his brow in deep concentration, taking the question more seriously than intended.

“But, uh… yeah! Of course, I’d still love you. I mean, worms need love too, right?” He laughs, a bit awkward but genuine.

“I’d carry you around in a little jar or something so you don’t get squished.” He grins, proud of his solution.

“Maybe I could use The Hand to just, y’know, erase whatever turned you into a worm in the first place.”

Okuyasu would be a little slow to catch on but would totally commit to loving you, even as a worm, without a second thought.

Rohan Kishibe

You better stop annoying this man with stupid questions and let him get back to his mangas lol, he would respong with a mix of annoyance, but still caring in his own way; you’re his partner after all

“A worm? How dull.” He gives you an irritated look, folding his arms.

“Why would I ever waste my time loving a worm? They have no capacity for creativity, no ambition, no art—” He stops, seeing the look on your face, and sighs dramatically.

“But, I suppose if it’s you… I could make an exception.” He leans back, tapping his chin thoughtfully.

“Though, if you were a worm, I might have to document it for my manga. It could be quite the story: ‘The Worm I Loved.’” A smug grin spreads across his face.

“But remember, I’d expect you to still be interesting, even as a worm.”

Rohan would initially reject the idea, but ultimately, his affection for you would show, even if he frames it through his work.

The immediate feeling that washes over Josuke after realizing he’s become jealous is guilt.

If he has the luxury of being alone, he’ll pace around his bedroom while entertaining a lengthy argument with himself. It takes everything in him not to raise a hand up to his mouth and press a nail or two between clenched teeth. There’s a game of tug of war occurring inside his head and he’s nothing if not a slave to fully investing himself in the conflict.

If he isn’t alone, and especially if he’s with you, there is seemingly no dent made in his chill persona. Not a single person around him would be able to tell the internal conflict running through his mind. Not even you.

His usually relaxed thoughts are disrupted with an ocean of insecurity. “What if” questions plaguing him and internally souring his mood.

It’s a foreign feeling for him to experience. Especially considering you tend to bring out a very proud side of his personality. Ever since he started going out with you, everyday life has only gotten brighter.

And although he’d never be caught mentioning it out loud, there’s a part of him that’s mindful of the fact that usually he’s the one others grow jealous of.

He’s running in mental circles, a back and forth. Agonizing over just the idea of being jealous between taking the brunt of his emotions all at once.

All while he says absolutely nothing on the matter.

He may end up distancing himself for a day or two depending on just how lost in his own head he gets. He doesn’t seek out your company, and that’ll be the only telltale sign of how he’s truly feeling.

Even then, whenever you do see him, nothing appears to be wrong. He’ll smile at you all the same. His tone is cheerful as ever, and there’s no falter present in his laugh.

Being involved in a relationship himself, Josuke figures he would best understand his point of view. He does his best to hear him out (he did go to him, after all), but Koichi telling him that it’s unhealthy to internalize how he’s feeling isn’t going to get Josuke to budge.

Josuke knows you’re loyal. He does trust you... so how could he possibly compromise that trust by mentioning something as silly as jealousy? Being open and honest is usually his go to. He tells you everything. But this...? There’s a little voice in his head telling him not to. And not even sound advice from a close friend can get him to stop listening.

If you’re observant enough to catch onto him avoiding you while simultaneously greeting you as if nothing’s wrong, bringing it up bluntly will finally force him to open his damn mouth.

He’s nervous; more nervous than he’s ever been around you in the past. It doesn’t take long before the word vomit starts pooling from his mouth, littered between a plethora of apologies. His eyes never meet yours until he’s done talking, hands continuously picking and pulling at one another.

Believe it or not, talking it through with you actually helps! Who knew? Certainly not Josuke.

After that first incident, dealing with his jealousy becomes a lot more manageable. Although it doesn’t happen often, it still does happen.

And he’s still not inclined to make a scene if he can help it.

Josuke’s opinion of guys who freak out on their partner or anyone who they feel threated by- even by the loosest stretch of the imagination -is very low. He will certainly talk to you about it, but in private and merely to express his emotions rather than to criticize you in any way.

The only real exception to this, is if someone’s actively hitting on you and repeatedly not taking the hint. How he approaches the situation largely depends on you.

If you’re not afraid of confrontation, he’s going to be at your side with a smug expression on his face the entire time. Your ability to stand up for yourself can make him melt on the spot. He lets you go at it, watching you with a smile brimming with puppy love. He just cannot help but fawn over how cool you are.

Once you’ve made your point, he’ll happily back you up lightheartedly. Even to the point of mocking the person who dared to ignore every “no” you threw their way. People like that deserve to get knocked down a peg, and Josuke’s eager to help.

If you’re more meek in approaching these situations, and tend to shoot Josuke glances pleading for his aid, he’s happy to help. It feeds into his ego a bit, honestly.

He’ll make a point to wrap an arm around you, throwing his best intimidating side-eye to the person daring to make you feel uncomfortable. Hell, he’ll even puff out his chest a little too.

Once again, he’s not above insulting them. His words are vicious and more than a little rude. He is a delinquent, after all.

Josuke isn’t a really fan of getting violent in these situations, though. The only reason he would get to that point is if the other person grows violent first and he needs to defend himself.

If they take it that far, they’re asking for it in his book. He doesn’t feel any need to use Crazy Diamond against something so trivial, more than a little confident in his own strength.

That said, if the flirtatious bastard is enough to make you really upset, he will use his stand to rearrange their appearance in an attempt to make you laugh. Yeah, it’s a bit twisted, but his youthful mischievousness is likely to earn him a smile from you.

Unlike his best friend, Okuyasu wears his heart on his sleeve at all times.

Expressing emotions, even negative or embarassing ones, is not something he shies away from. No, not even in public.

When he first confessed his feelings to you, he was certainly more than a little shy. But when you gladly reciprocated, you’re positive the entirety of Morioh shook with his joyous response.

It’s because of this that Okuyasu experiencing jealousy is quite the roller-coaster of emotion. If he’s jealous, everyone and their mother will likely know.

His immediate response is confusion.

Not over how he’s feeling per se, but instead over what to do about it. Painfully aware of his own intellegence, he’ll agonize over how he should respond. Jealousy is rather complicated in his opinion, and his biggest concern is accidentally pushing you away via his reaction.

He is decisive, though, so it’s not something he’s going to mull it over for very long.

And if you’re right beside him, the likelihood of you diffusing his jealousy right in that very moment is quite high. So, although it’s not uncommon for him to be jealous, he’s quick to let it go.

In most cases, that’s where the story ends.

Sometimes, though, if the feeling is strong enough or if you’re not able to talk with him, it’ll go a bit further.

In those instances, the emotion that follows his confusion is anger. More accurately, it’s defensiveness masked with a display of frustration.

It’s written all over his face, eyebrows furrowing and eyes turning sharp. The delivery of his words are rather harsh and unfiltered (well, more than usual).

This anger won’t ever be directed at you, though. Okuyasu cares about you far too much.

If he can’t direct it at a specific individual that’s (according to him) the source of his jealousy, he’ll instead grow angry with himself. Mainly because his jealousy stems from an insecure belief that he’s not good enough for you.

If he gets this upset, it’s best to leave him to let out his frustrations before going to speak with him on the matter. Hell, Josuke is a better support for Okuyasu when he’s dealing with the bulk of his emotions.

Not much time is needed; no more than a day. And because he respects you greatly, if you give him that tiny- yet definitely needed -space, he’ll gladly hear you out with a fresher mindset.

Okuyasu is almost always going to be soothed by your affirmations.

Sweet words about how you’re with him because you want to be, and that nothing so small could form a wedge between the two of you, is very reassuring for him.

Jealousy is going to be more of a prevalent hurtle for the both of you to work on at the beginning of the relationship. He was still getting used to the idea that you really do like him as more than just a friend. It’s sweet, sure, but the insecurity is something the two of you work on together.

As time passes, and he digests the fact that you’re not going to leave him for the first person that flirtatiously glances your way, he cools off a lot. In fact, he starts having a hard time taking the people who hit on you seriously.

Namely, he’s going to laugh at any poor bastard trying to make a move on you. Because “Ha! Get a move on, loser! Can’t you see their taken?”

His mocking may not be as well-thought out as Josuke’s, but they can cut just as deep. And his delivery is almost always sure to bring a smile to your face. Okuyasu is always proud when he’s the cause of your glee.

That said, getting defensive is still a knee-jerk reaction at times. It only applies if someone doesn’t want to take “no” as an answer.

Doesn’t matter how capable you are in defending yourself, if someone pushes it, he’s quickly going to follow it up with threats. Partially out of affectionate protectiveness, and also in part because he likes to think of himself as your knight in shining armor.

He tries to be as suave as he can while threatening a stranger with a fist to the face. One second he’s throwing insults, the next he’s giving you a smile along with a cheeky wink.

As far as he’s concerned, someone messing with his boyfriend/girlfriend better be prepared for a pair of knuckles meeting harshly with their jaw.

Okuyasu’s like an angry dog barking loudly at anyone getting too close. Least you know no one will ever dare to mess with you for very long.

Koichi Hirose

-> The Logical

Out of everyone in the Duwang gang, Koichi is the least susceptible to jealousy. Actually, scratch that. He’s the least susceptible to jealousy in all of Morioh.

Especially after developing Echoes act 3, his thought process just doesn’t leave a lot of room for doubts in both you and himself.

If someone’s attempting to flirt with you, he’s more likely to grow annoyed rather than jealous.

He’ll throw them an unamused glance, eyebrow raised as if daring them to continue further. He’ll turn back to you, mentioning loudly enough for them to hear how obnoxious he finds their behavior to be. Returning the favor with a smile almost always does the trick, often prompting them to give up.

If they don’t, and press further, Koichi is prone to suggesting that the two of you go somewhere else. He never returns any animosity thrown towards him, not letting it get to him much. Yeah, they may be hurling low-hanging insults towards him, but he’s the one with you on his arm.

His casualness in those situations is so consistent to the point where Josuke and Okuyasu each comment on how they don’t understand it.

When a situation arises where they know they’d be jealous, the two just cannot wrap their head around how calm he is. Koichi merely laughs them off, almost finding their confusion to be amusing.

Koichi’s grown a lot, and he just can’t find it within himself to give into insecurities he considers unnecessary. All that, in his mind, should really be left in the past.

Adding to his confidence, is you yourself.

Koichi adores you, and would honestly trust you with his life. So why would he ever grow jealous of an old friend? What on earth could some random person at a party provide you in a short, two minute conversation that would warrant any defensiveness? Why would he feel threatened by a coworker? It’s not like he can tell you to avoid them.

In fact, he’s very aware of the fact that he can't tell you what to do in general. Or rather, he simply won’t. It’s not in his nature to be controlling or hover over you like that.

Not because you’ve brought it up or it's ever been an issue in the past. It’s simply because... that’s not a real relationship in his eyes. He’s not bossy or pushy- you started dating him because that was your decision at the end of the day. And that alone is enough proof to him that being jealous really isn’t worth it.

Now, if by some miracle he does grow jealous, it’s not going to last very long. Again, Koichi is just too levelheaded.

He is going to grow downcast, saddened by his own perspective of the situation. This is because he’ll only get to the point of jealousy if he believes you’ve returned someone’s advances- whether it was by word of mouth or something he saw with his own two eyes.

And because you care for him as earnestly as he does for you, his jealousy likely occurs due to an honest misunderstanding.

Koichi will approach you on the matter himself, and will do so calmly. Even if he saw something, he doesn’t want to become more upset before he hears what you have to say. After all, you’ve never disappointed him before.

Because of his strong trust in you, after he details his perspective on the matter, he asks that you explain your side of the situation to him.

Koichi’s demeanor is very controlled and polite, hiding a certain degree of genuine worry. He listens with baited breath, internally praying that he simply misread what happened.

And to his relief, that’s all it ever ends up being.

Just like that, the both of you are quickly back to normal. Worries evaporate from within his mind, and he’s back to his usual sweet self.

Genuinely the best boyfriend here, no contest.

Rohan Kishibe

-> The Denier

Oh, boy.

First thing’s first, it should be noted that The Great Rohan Kishibe does not grow jealous. It’s not even a question, and honestly, expecting him to explain such a thing is an insult. Men and women alike fawn over him; anyone would be lucky to have him. You’re lucky to have him.

And to his credit, Rohan really doesn’t grow jealous very often.

His confidence in himself may cross the line into narcissism, but it doesn’t lead him to give into jealousy very often.

Like Koichi, he knows that if you’re with him, it’s because you truly care. Even more so, considering Rohan knows (if only slightly) that he’s not the easiest person to be around.

Nope! He certainly doesn’t become jealous very often… not never, like he’s worked so hard to have you believe.

For Rohan to become jealous requires specific circumstances. Some random person approaching you at a party or bar isn’t going to pose much of a threat to his ego.

On the contrary, it feeds into his ego.

You’re a beautiful individual; it’s no question as to why others would try and approach you. But, of course, you always turn them away seeing as you’re already his.

In those instances, he’s as dismissive as Koichi, coupled with a tongue as sharp as Josuke’s. Rolling his eyes, wrapping an arm around you, straight up ignoring the person trying to talk to you, kissing you out of the blue- he’s got every weapon in his arsenal equipped to ensure you’re left alone.

If it gets to the point where you’re growing visibly nervous or uncomfortable, Rohan’s words are the nastiest you’ve ever seen. But the display isn’t necessarily out of jealousy, as it is out of shock and frustration that they’d persist. He’s not going to let anyone speak to you in such a way.

But when it pertains to an old friend, the one you were talking about meeting up with for a week straight... now that’s what makes his chest tighten.

Rohan’s going to be in a bad mood because of it, but it’s not too distinct from his usual behavior. No, he’s just a little more quiet than normal. And by the time you cheerfully tell him about seeing this friend of yours, he thinks he may go nuts.

Rohan’s immediate response is to completely shut himself out from everyone, while simultaneously denying any thought he has over being jealous in the first place.

The time he spends locked inside his office is insanely alarming.

At first, you question whether or not you should even say anything about it. Yes, you’re obviously concerned for his health, but Rohan falls into his exaggerated version of workaholic-mode from time to time. And you know him well enough to understand he requires a very careful approach to be pulled out of it.

No, what really warns you that something’s wrong, is that even Koichi asks you if Rohan is doing okay.

His concern takes you aback, and only makes your heart sink further when Josuke (of all people) speaks up about it as well. He’s a lot more reserved about showing any worry, but it’s enough to let you know that something is fundamentally off.

Prodding Rohan for an explanation is going to take a good while.

He’s so unused to feeling jealousy in any capacity that he outright refuses to even admit it to himself.

No, he just needs to work and not interact with anyone. Why? Because he has to; don’t question him. There’s so much he needs to do. You’re far too busy with your old friend in town to pay him any mind anyway.

And that’s exactly the sentiment you finally manage to pull from him.

He spits it out it with crossed arms, not once meeting your gaze. But it’s a mistake (in his mind), because it gets the cogs turning in your mind.

You end up realizing Rohan’s jealous before he does.

Affirmations that you love him is a must, and don’t even bring up the fact that he grew jealous- it would only continue to stir the pot. You know Rohan well, confident in how you choose your words when talking to him about it.

He refuses to give you any indication that he's listening, of course, but one brief glance your way cracks his hardened outer shell.

The look on your face... it initiates this weird sinking feeling deep inside his gut. Just thinking of could halt his movements.

Yes, realistically, he could just use his stand to check whether or not his concern is warranted.

But, for one thing, he’s already promised you he wouldn't do that to you. Setting boundaries is extremely important to Rohan, so he respects the ones you set in return. So much so that the thought of using Heaven’s Door on you doesn’t cross his mind once.

And that look on your face, soft and melancholy upon the realization that he’s been doubting you... he honestly doesn’t need to use his stand to know he's severely misread your relationship with your old friend.

His own ability to recognize how poorly he misunderstood the situation is something he figures he’ll have to unpack at a later time. In that moment, he was just relieved. He told you, rather stubbornly, that he supposes he was wrong. In own his weird, twisted way, that was how he apologized.

In short, being with you is a humbling experience for a person like Rohan and this instance of becoming jealous is certainly a part of that.

Weirdly enough, to his internal surprise, it’s ultimately a pleasurable development. Not like he’d ever tell you, though.

With the passage of time, he even lets you tease him over it. The two of you playfully go back and forth, bringing up times where you both got so jealous. It’s all in good fun, his confidence in your feelings for him stronger than ever.

In reality, him having a bit of humor about it is a clear sign that he’s growing into the relationship more and more. And him being able to be more transparent around you makes it easier for him to talk to you in the future if he gets that jealous again.

There’s still room for growth, but such things are almost always a gradual process for someone like Rohan.

That said, only you’re allowed to make any sort of teasing remarks about the whole ordeal. Anyone else isn’t worthy of doing so.

Josuke

History and Geography aren't really his strong suits in school (he's not awful, it's just boring). So he likes hearing you talk about your home if you want. Josuke likes to compare stories.

Since he's not on the best of terms with Rohan, he tries to slowly learn Russian to talk to you in it. And he's also happy to help you with any Japanese that you might be struggling with too.

Josuke does wonder how you're doing adjusting to Japan. Sure, he knows Russia isn't a winter wonderland like stereotypes say, but Japan can get humid as all hell in the summer and really hopes you aren't dying of the temperature. He'll do his best to come up with ways to keep you cool.

Koichi

This sweet boy is asking if you're alright, Japan is a long way from home. If you're homesick then perhaps he can find some restaurant that has food similar to what Russia has. Maybe Tonio could whip up something since he's a talented chef!

Koichi is also fascinated to hear about your home too. He knows of some historical things when it comes to Russia due to his history class. And he definitely tried to learn more when he started dating you.

Being "friends" with Rohan has it's perks as Koichi is going to try to learn Russian so he can talk to you in that language. He wouldn't mind if you'd prefer to help teach him, but he likes the idea of being able to communicate with you in your native language fluently.

Okuyasu

Firstly, he asks where Russia is. He's not exactly the smartest tool in the shed. Of course he knows what Russia is (albeit more of the stereotypes with it), but he has no idea where it'd be on a map besides being some frozen wasteland (again, stereotypes).

He likes hearing about your home though. Listening to you talk about it and the things you did growing up is very interesting. Comparing childhood songs or games is something that he does often (he likes reminiscing about happier times with his family).

If you tell Okuyasu about the employed cats that Russia has then he's amazed. He's heard mythologies surrounding cats and he does own Stray Cat now and wonders if he'd be able to employ her somehow…

Rohan

Well, first thing he's doing when he learns you're Russian is asking what you know about the Baba Yaga. It just seems like some folklore that would be fantastic to reference and put into some manga series.

Rohan is pretty well traveled so he's been to Russia a couple times. He enjoys talking to you about your homeland and how it differs from Japan.

He most likely does use the stories you have of Russia for help with his manga. He'd use his stand, but he actually likes you so he's fine with listening to you talk about your childhood and things that you grew up with in Russia while he takes notes.

Jotaro

I love how Jotaro is still himself but just… feels slightly baby girled. I also love how the first thing we properly see of him in part 4 is him 1- pitying a turtle 2-sucker punching Josuke moments later. With that being said, he’d totally be smitten for you. I may joke on how others are simps, this is my number one simp choice.

You probably didn’t obsess over him like the girls when he was younger but actually talk to him like a person, not just a set of hot muscles. He does like it when you talk about his hot muscles though ok… play your cards right and he might let you touch, but don’t tease him or he’ll back away. But, once you’re official, I feel like he’d quite like witty banter and teasing from his partner, as long as it’s clear you’re joking. No joke, probably fell for you after you mentioned a random fish/ocean creature fact.

“Huh? Oh you’re reading about starfish? I like starfish, even though they’re not actually a fish.”

“Marry me-“ “huh, what did you-“ “good grief, I said nothing…” 10/10 on my way to marry him as we speak.

Josuke

Josuke, I wasn’t sure if I’d like him at first but he is my baby no.2. He’s such a sweetheart, so dependable. Just his reaction any time his friends are in danger is just perfect. Plus I love his mom. The way he’d defend your honour like he defends his hair. Anyone say anything out of pocket about you and they’re dealing with your very powerful boy. Totally brags to you about how he’s Jotaro’s uncle and that Jotaro asks for his help on missions soooo often. But then later asks Jotaro for date ideas and advice because he’s older. My man is a romantic at heart you can’t lie to me. 10/10 would make dinner for him and baby him.

Koichi

Although Koichi isn’t my type personally, he’s such a cutie patootie. He’s so sweet and genuine that I imagine he’d just be a darling to eat lunch with and talk about your favourite shows or manga. 10/10, would walk with you too and from school.

Okuyasu

Okuyasu… he is my baby. He’s stupid, strong and has a heart of gold despite looking like a delinquent… you guys can’t lie to me that is definition of a Himbo. You can’t tell me he wouldn’t drag you out on every little adventure he could with him and the others. He’d have you wearing his jacket when it’s cold and if you already have one he’d insist his is warmer and then wear yours so you can have his. Dinner dates at Tonio’s. Yeah 10/10 he might be a menace sometimes but he’d fight for you. Use your scary dog privilege wisely.

- The way you'd leave proper meals for him in his office or car so he wasn't always eating instant ramen…

- You were always there whenever his stake outs blundered or Lupin inevitably got away.

- You respected him as the Inspector, but you cared about him as a person as well, and understood him better than most…
