!!! QUICK QUESTION -- you don't have to answer if you aren't comfortable ofc! but in the jean falls first art you did (and a few others!) you have this insane texture on the fabric that just looks sooo good. is it a specific brush in a specific program? ty! :- )

ahhh kohi nw! 🥺💞💞 i use clip studio textures from assets and warp them around clothes and folds to make it look more natural rather than straight lines and at the end give them that nice lil crispy kiss with noise/dot brush in erase mode hahaha

kohi uses clip studio paint & i use procreate! we both jump between the programs to help each other on certain things & photoshop for final finessing & formatting! i wish i could provide you a strict set of brushes (this is what we were struggling with) but we honestly change them all the time & are always looking for new assets, esp for clip paint!

I may have initially been skeptical of “kopi” as a stand in for “coffee” but I acclimated and now I use it interchangeably with such frequency that my family members have accidentally used “kopi” out in the wild with other English speakers. I draw the line at “kohi” though. That is not what that is!

Some self indulgent Canon x OC art with my dragonball oc character. Picture comes with a short story under the cut. It's not too long.

"Its getting late, Tienshinhan. Care to join me?" Kohi's voice was inviting, her eyes warm with a silent understanding that seemed to bridge the gap between them.

Tien hesitated, a lingering echo of his old conditioning holding him back. His past training had instilled in him a sense of detachment, a suppression of emotions that included such desires like these. It had been Kohi's idea, of course, to visit the nearby hot springs after their grueling training sessions. At first, Tien resisted, his instinctive caution and discipline holding him back. He had been trained to channel his energy solely into his martial prowess, to suppress the human desires that might weaken his focus.

He wasn’t even sure how this ritual started, but it had become a regular thing before he realized it was something he looked forward to. It had been a month now.  Intense training, sweat , tears, blood, and a lot of yelling. Followed by a healing dip in the hot spring near his training ground.

At first Kohi went alone, then she invited him, beckoned him. Saying it would be part of the process of mending their past. He hesitated, refused even, a handshake was enough, yet here he stood, about to be naked in front of this woman. Again.

The hot spring’s gentle steam embraced Tien and Kohi, wrapping around them like a cocoon. In silence, Tien's fingers fumbled slightly as he undid the sash of his training gi, his gaze flickering towards Kohi, who met his eyes with a serene smile that sent his heart racing.

Kohi's movements were graceful, her actions more deliberate as she shed her clothing. "Have you changed your mind? Isn’t this a good way to unwind after a spar?”

Tien's lips curved into a conservative smile. "I prefer meditation, but I can’t complain."

They eased into the water, its warmth melting away the fatigue from their rigorous training. The silence between them held a tension, deepened with memories and possibilities. Tien's eyes lingered on Kohi, and the unspoken understanding between them seemed to shimmer in the cool night air.

As the soothing warmth enveloped them, their bodies inched closer, almost touching. Tien remembered how they didn’t even share the same area of the bath at first. Separated by a wall.  Then somehow she ended up sharing a bath with him, and he couldn’t chase her out.  But they stayed on opposite sides. Not anymore.

Kohi reclined against the edge of the pool, her gaze tracing constellations above. Tien followed her line of sight, stars reflected in his dark eyes. Unconsciously his hand found hers beneath the water, their fingers intertwining as if ready to share secrets.

"I can't help but look forward to more training sessions like this," Kohi mused, her voice a mere whisper in his ear. 

Tien couldn’t help but smirk as he looked down at her. “Is it the training you want? Or more of the hotsprings?”

The pull was magnetic. He inched closer, his arm finding its way around Kohi's waist, drawing her against him. The melding of their body heat and the warm water accentuated the moment and it felt completing, as Kohi nestled her head against his shoulder.

“Well the training of course,” She cooed. “I know you have O' so many more things to teach me.”

Tien's grip tightened just slightly as he glided his hand against the lithe musculature of her back.

“And you have many things to teach me.”  The words came out before he could think about the way it sounded, and an unexpected warmth crept up his cheeks, a blush he couldn't quite control. Kohi's playful observation only deepened his embarrassment. "Are you blushing?"

Tien stammered, his third-eye seemed to blink in modesty. "Uh, well, you know, the heat of the bath and all…"

Kohi's laughter was like a melody, and she lifted her gaze to meet his. Kohi didn’t hesitate to wrap her arms around Tien’s broad shoulders, opening herself up to him further. "Oh, come on, Tienshinhan. I've known you for years,That's not just the bath's doing."

Tien's shy stammering turned into laughter. It mixed with hers and it was like music. "Thank you, Kohi. For helping me... unlearn."

She leaned in, and their lips met softly, her hands gliding easily and freely over him. "Mm, of course, darling, we have a lot of unlearning to do."

Her lips brushed his neck and an avalanche of anticipation shuttered through him like a mountain exploding over his body. His arms pressed her tight against him, deepening every sensation. Yes, he was ready to do much unlearning.

47. what story are you most proud of?

well... it's hard to say because i tend to be proud of my writing because i wrote it, not because i still think it's good (or even "good enough" most of the time lol). i feel proud when i look back at all the hard work i've put into my writing. i think i'm the proudest of the overflowing time and love i put into "love letter" — it was a melding of my enjoyment of comedic plot twists, my desire for university to start, and my fascination with the concept of bangchan as a coffee barista (a second time). i think my pride here was especially helped by the plentiful sweet feedback i received for it... some people actually found it funny! wow!

a runner-up for this is "a couple more" with akaashi as one of my last haikyuu fics. i LOVED writing that. i love dramatic things like those where writing the conclusion is like finally letting go of the breath i was holding the whole time.

69. how do you write emotional scenes? do you ever feel what the characters feel?

i don't write things i can't somehow relate to. sometimes i have to draw from deep within myself and feel things i've never felt, but as an author, i think i have to be capable of understanding my characters if i'm going to write about them. even when i wouldn't make the same choices as them, i am with them through those choices. it's sort of like watching a friend hear your advice and then ignore it. often i know where a story is going and yet i still have to put the characters through it, if that makes sense. so i feel what they feel and forgive them, and then i, as the author, deal to them their consequences.

(gosh, imagine being a writer and thinking you don't have a god complex of some kind)

Have you heard of the story of the Flower Prince?

“It’s the story about a prince from a far away kingdom, who was well loved by all of his people. He was kind and caring, and treated all of his people with respect. However, the prince had a secret. The prince was cursed. When the prince was a born, his father wronged a powerful sorcerer; the sorcerer cursed the baby.  The curse would cause the prince to grow flowers from his body until the foliage completely consumed him. The only way for the prince could be cured, was for him to fall in love by the age of 18. The king tried everything to help the prince fall in love He held Balls, set up blind dates, and everything but no suitor clicked with the prince. The king soon gave up in his pursuit to save his son and began accepting his fate. Has the prince drew closer to 18 the flowers began to grow. He was in great pain with every new flower that would grow. So the prince did everything in his power to find a suitor and break the curse. However, the flowers growing from the prince scared everyone away. He felt betrayed by his kingdom. How could my people do this to me? I thought they like me. I thought— the the prince mind was reeling. He hid in his castle and accepted his fate. No one could love a monster, he thought. Until one day, a young lady from another kingdom came to the castle. She was there to see if the legend of the Flower Prince was true. She entered the castle and found the prince. At first he was cold and short with her; commanding her to leave at once. The young lady refused and approached the prince. “Are you not frightened?” he asked, “Are not disturbed by the sight of a monster”?

“I don’t fear you” she answered. 

The prince was shocked and immediately fell in love with girl. At the moment, one of the flowers fell. He realized that he not only loved her but he needed her...” 

Guess what time it is? It’s Love Sick Boy hours and today we got Kohi in his Halloween costume. To be honest, I just wanted to draw him looking creepy. Also hope you like the little made up fairy tale that goes with his costume. I may continue it, I may not; we’ll see. Enjoy
