Once the boat was beached on the rocks, Niki scrambled out and pulled it closer so that it wouldn’t get washed away. Kohaku should have been keeping an eye on him and would be down to help in a moment, but Niki was still baffled by the uh, tail, and now that he wasn’t distracted by the rocking of the boat, the fact that there were gills and fins on the merman in front of him. 

“Hey! Wake up!” He tried shouting and shaking the merman. It had grabbed onto the boat out in the water and looked like it was breathing as much as Niki could tell. How something that may or may not have both gills and air breathing lungs would be able to show he was breathing, Niki wasn’t entirely sure, nor was he sure he wanted to know that answer. 

“Niki-han, did you find anythi--oh what is…” Kohaku came to a stop next to Niki, looking at the merman. “Please tell me I’m seein’ things.” 

“I don’t think so, Kohaku-chan. He won’t wake up but I don’t want to leave him in the storm either.” Niki shook the merman’s shoulder again, gently slapping its face to no avail. He pressed a finger to its neck to search for a pulse but he didn’t even know if that would yield any results. There was a faint throbbing though, something like a heartbeat. Could they stay out of water? If only the damn thing were awake and could answer their questions. 

Another lightning strike jolted them back to reality. “Kohaku-chan, start running the bath and get the stove heated. I’ll try and get him in the house.” Kohaku nodded and ran back inside, while Niki contemplated the best way to get the merman back. There was a wheelbarrow somewhere that would probably work well enough to get him up to the door but trying to wheel it up the steps even when it was empty was a challenge. His stomach growled and Niki decided to just grab it and maybe he would just dump it through the door and he and Kohaku could carry it to the bathroom. Yeah, that would work well enough.

Firstly. IF you ever manage to get into a relationship with the man known as Senku Ishigami you probably deserve some kind of award for having to deal with this man’s crazed scientist bullshit every day. He literally doesn’t change one bit, he's still the same Senku that’s blunt, mean, hates physical affection and mushy words. The reward for the least romantic boyfriend goes to *drumroll effect* SENKU!

Senku probably prefers someone that’s he known for a really long time I’m talking since he was at least in junior high but the further back the better and if you were in the science club with him back in high school fantastic. Meeting new people is one thing but actually having romantic feelings for them is a whole other ball game. It’s easier and less work when liking someone who already knows him inside out and vice versa instead of having to do the whole cliché ‘get to know each other’ façade over and over again.

Also, I feel like Senku has only had like maybe 2 crushes in his entire lifetime: one was some famous scientist he saw on tv talking at a press conference at the head of the table in a room full of men and the other one was in his first year of junior high when he was bested at a mathlete competition (in his defense he pulled the most brutal all-nighter the night before while working on some insane project and messed up the placement of a decimal point) by a girl who wore the chunkiest pair of glasses known to man. He quickly got over both as he had learned that realistic the possibility of this famous scientist (who was also married) falling in love with a prepubescent boy was damn near impossible (and illegal) and the girl he liked in school ended up coming out as a lesbian when she and another girl were caught kissing each other's cheek during break time.

Senku probably likes individuals that are independent and self-sufficient like Kohaku (girl boss!!) People that are clingy and to needy are not his forte’ and makes his face sneer or deadpan brutally. He doesn’t like physical affection or words of affirmation on most days he’s more of a quality time (slaving over more experiments with you doing physical labor) and gift giving (making you little trinkets from his science experiments). I mean it’s pretty obvious remember that one episode where Senku’s own dad was about to give a long emotional speech on the record but stopped because he knew Senku would ew at it. So if you’re somebody that thrives off of praise and attention then *opens the door* please see yourself out respectfully because this man is not going to give it to you. You'll be like a little dried up cactus begging for attention.

Senku likes cleanliness and organization. Senku himself is very clean and hygienic. People that are not are usually big turn off and and an even bigger *thumbs down* for him. He’s also organized despite how his experiments and projects seem to be all over the place they’re not. He knows exactly where everything is, the exact millimeter of, every beaker, of every pipette, of every pencil. It's called organized chaos. If one thing is moved without his consent or worse, his knowledge the entire room is thrown off and he has a hard time finding anything for the next 12 hours.

Personal opinion here but I feel like Senku has as dislike for bugs. Like sure. Bugs are cool to explore and on a scientific level sure but anything other than that he’s not really cheering for joy about it. I also feel like he despises getting sick, like literally any type of sickness whether it’s the common influenzas virus or even a slight stomach bug. He’s miserable and irritated and it takes a really long time to get better because although the scientist in him tells him he needs to rest the stubborn workaholic in him tells him he’ll be fine to do a few minutes of work (which ends up turning into hours-please make this man rest🙏🙏). So if you’re the type where you’re unhygienic to the point of constantly being sick or attracting like actual bugs then either you’re going to have pick up the slack on your hygiene or leave realll quick.

Senku also likes people that smart either intellectually or when they’re witty and have a sharp mouth. If they can understand and even better add in their own input when he’s going on and on about different types of minerals sharing his excitement when they make a scientific breakthrough in the stone world he thinks if he didn't believe marriage was a social construction he'd get down on one knee with some sparkly rock he *borrowed* from Chrome's rock collection. Now even if his partner isn’t all into the science *blah blah* cells *blah blah* quantum mechanics and Schrodinger's equation a partner who is sharp on his mouth will suffice jussst as well. It's makes him snicker the tiniest bit turning his head away so no one can see the grin covered on his mouth covered by his hands. People who are blunt and not softspoken are a *big thumbs* in Senku’s book why would someone who has something to say not say it? A waste of time in his head.

Senku likes a willingness to learn even if it's just about they like every now and again. He knows that science is a high broad topic that covers from up into the vacuum known as space or as to the deep as the aquatic volcanoes known in the deep blue ocean. And he knows about it all in that gorgeous brain of his. In Senku's mind everything thing revolves around science, walking-the physiology of cells to tissues, tissues to muscles and neurological brain activity to make voluntary commands, art- the primary colors created by the art starting from things like mud, bugs and fruits, oh chemicals- easy it all starts with the period table of elements starting from hydrogen all the way down to Ogganseon. Anything you like any hobby you enjoy has to involve some kind of science and if you ask some him some questions about how it works or at least how it originates he knows that somewhere in you have the curiosity of a scientist.

Likes athleticism....maybe? Honestly, I'm kind of unsure about this one because on one hand I can see him liking people that are athletic and physically fit not because he thinks that being skinny is better or anything like that but because he can definitely use you like a horse (do yall know like those short mini scenes between the episodes where Senku like dresses up as different jobs imagine him as a farmer with a straw hat on his head in overalls a piece of straw in his mouth and a riding crop in one hand whew😩😩😩) for a lot of physical labor don't worry he'll return your hard work with a treat of your choice but be prepared he will complain about your laziness and wanting to help 'humanity' but on the other hand I could see him liking people that get winded and red faced after walking up stairs or carrying a bucket of water just like he does (extra points if it's a guy like him) because if you're both low stamina and low endurance you can't tease him about his athletic abilities. So a tie maybe.

Lastly, LOVES a strong will and determination he knows that starting the stone world back to modern humanity from scratch is no easy feat hell even he has made a few mistakes while trying to figure himself out. But what he does know is that science is filled with trail and error (mostly error) and it takes a loooot of time before you actually get what you're looking for so if you're the type to give up easily after failing once or twice and turn your back to his goal of turning the world back into the modern society he once had then....I'm sorry to say it probably won't work out for you there's only so many motivational speeches this man can give before he gets annoyed and just lets you give up without any reassurance (don't worry he doesn't take it personal), besides he still has people like Chrome, Sukia, and Kohaku to help.

Returned From The Moon

Senku ishigami x Gender neutral!Reader

Description: Returning home from a trip abroad, someone also returns fromt their trip to the moon and stars.

Warnings: Smut, angst, Senku's moon training paying off lol. Slight indirect spoilers for the manga. No mention of readers gender or body anatomy of the readers.

Returning home to your shared but empty flat with Senkuu felt refreshing until you looked beyond the surface of returning to the home you built for the two of you. Only one of you came back here to live while the other was stuck in space, with the stars and the planets as his company. You look at the walls of the hallway entrance. Suika stays with you for now as she also misses her guardian, Kohaku, so you offered to let her stay to quell your loneliness and hers. You are happy to see that the house still looks okay while you were abroad for a month; you hadn't kept track of how things were at home, not wanting to think about Senkuu indirectly by calling home. Placing your suitcase and bags on the ground, you take off your shoes, hold your face for a little while before getting up, only drag your bag, and leave your suitcase for later. You hear some noise in the kitchen; you don't remember seeing Suika's shoes. You walk into the living room smelling food and see some light coming from the kitchen, and the sunset outside lights the house.

"Suika, are you making dinner?" As you approach the kitchen, you hear some plates clicking together and footsteps. The person who meets you at the kitchen doorway makes you drop your bag and freeze. Your mouth drops open at the sight of him standing there; you must tilt your head slightly to look at his face. He got taller; he looks older. Senkuu gives you a smug grin as he watches you take him in. He reaches for your arm, and you snap back in surprise, making his smile drop at the reaction. He goes to tease you but stops at seeing the tears fall from your eyes.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Senkuu feels his throat tighten when you start wailing. He grabs you, pulls you into his arms, and lets you cry into his chest. It feels so nice to hold you in his arms again. How could you have taken your touch for granted all those years ago? He tilted your chin to his face, wiping away your tears and hushing your little sniffles. He leans closer, getting a kiss from you; closing your eyes, you wrap your arms tightly around his neck. He breaks away a few times, taking in some air and then giving little pecks in between, making you laugh. He shoves his face into your hair and inhales deeply, then lets go and quickly walks to the kitchen.

"I made dinner," Senkuu nonchalantly shares; you smile when you hear him talk to you like nothing has changed. You latch yourself onto his back while he finishes plating the ramen he made for you, with him sharing no witty comments like he used to do when you were both younger. You only let go of him when he plates the food and sits close to him without pushing his buttons. He instead makes you sit on his lap, resting his head on your shoulder as you eat in silence. He could probably hear how fast your heart was beating; he wasn't this touchy. How much he changed with all the years he was gone is jarring. When you finish the meal he made, he doesn't move to get up; instead, he wraps his arms around your middle and sits entirely still while doing so. His red eyes stare deeply into your own; you both watch and listen to the other's quiet breaths until he suddenly jostles you and lifts you with ease, carrying you as if you were his bride.

"That moon training was no joke." You joke while holding on for dear life in case he drops you; he gives you a devious grin while carrying you both to your untouched, shared bedroom. He gently places you onto the bed and kneels on the floor before you. How long he had thought of how he would touch, hold, and kiss your skin when he returned from the moon. It makes him as excited as he would be when in the lab. He stands up, looming over you slightly before pulling you into a relaxed kiss; you tug on his tie as he continues to ravish your lips. He backs away and starts to unbutton his shirt while continuing to watch you, listening to your shallow breaths. Your heart rate probably went up from its usual sixty-five. You lie back, and he crawls over you, sitting between your legs, running his hands along your body and figuring out all the changes he missed while he was gone. He can't help but continue to smell you occasionally.

"I missed your smell," Senkuu whispers above your ear, and you whimper. He lets out a low noise in response.

"I missed your voice, " he tells you while kissing your chest, taking off your shirt, and kissing the new planes of skin. He rubs his face all over your exposed skin before removing more clothes and rubbing his rough palms over the new area. He wanted to savor you like a discovery in science. He grinds his hardness against you, making you even more excited and dizzy at the feel of him. He takes off his pants and underwear, settling back against you when done. He drags it out for a while before grasping you closely against his body, holding you protectively. Senkuu thrusts slowly and keeps an even pace, taking his time and enjoying your quiet sounds and little whimpers and dragging his hands along your back and neck all the while. You grip him tightly when his thrusts become rougher.

"Close?" He presses your head with the question, and you vigorously nod and whine. He guides you along and makes you finish with satisfying convulsions at his continued thrusts until he stops overstimulating you both. Senkuu moves you both to lie on your side, curling around you and holding you close to him again. You brush your fingers through his white and green hair. It has gotten longer but still feels the same as before he left. You smile into his arm, closing your eyes and resting peacefully for the first time in years.

Extravagant, bold. Two definitive terms that quite describe the heir of the Nanami conglomerate. He wasn't Ryusui without that, was he?

He does not shy away from stating what he wants, nor does he wither from encouraging anyone from doing the same. A person who knows himself. Direct, precise.

Yet, he somehow starts to doubt those very same facts the moment when it comes to you.

With how much Ryusui talked about desire more than the average person, it was easy to get used to how he worded his wants and his passionate pursuit of it. In fact, you nearly choked when he yelled out what you thought was a confession.

"I desire you!" was what he said, leaving you to awkwardly stand with your hand out to shake his. Luckily, this misunderstanding was quickly cleared, and your hesitance faded out the more time you've grown used to his presence.

And so, it seemed that same desensitization was like a curse for him.

As you were part of the power team, he always made sure to meet with you at the end of the day. Walking with you from the field back to where the others were.

"[name]! Great work today! Any plans for tonight?"

"Mhm! I have to go help out Kaseki. He asked me and Kohaku to help him out in carrying some woodworks after dinner."

Then, the time where you were both on the ship. As you both stood out on the deck, overlooking the sea.

"You know, [name], this view is even more beautiful, now that the person I desire most, is right here with me."

"Haha! I just saw a turtle!"

It was frustrating, but also gave a thrill, to which he didn't mind playing along with. The pursuit of passion, how far would he go, for this? Finally, one a little bolder, when the perfect opportunity comes as you're both one of the last ones by the dining.

Here, you both sit across from each other. The sound of the sea outside are faint, and gives the perfect ambience to the silence.

Swirling the wine in his glass, he takes a small sip. "When it comes to desire, I believe that there is nothing that should be worth stopping you from obtaining it."

You nod along, just as tipsy. The wine in your glass sways along. "So true, king."

He rests his elbow on the table, leaning on his fist. His other hand holding the wine glass, points at you. "Your ignorance may know no bounds, but so does my desire. And I'll let you know, that I've never denied myself of anything I've truly longed for."

Groggily, you nod. "You said a lot of fancy words, but whatever you say, king."

Ryusui watches you blink in a daze. Yeah. He's no quitter. Downing the rest of his glass, he decides to just go for it.

"[name], I desire your heart. I desire you." he goes quiet after this, staring intently. His expression is unreadable, and you would tell if you weren't still a little tipsy.

"I'm afraid I still need it, sorry." Your eyes get droopy, and you put your glass on the table. "Not... not a registered donor." you mumble.

Ryusui sighs, putting down his own glass. Nevermind. "I think it's best you go to bed now." Grabbing your arm, he throws it over your shoulder, hauling you up. Drowsily, you only nod. "Yessir.."

Luckily, you weren't that far gone, and could walk properly. So, it was no problem getting you to your room. But before he could leave you by the doorway, you suddenly reach out, surprising him.

"Hey, Ryu." you mutter, leaning on the door. He looks at you curiously, listening. "Yes?"

"I like you." you sway your head, a little sleepy. "It's fun every time I'm with you."

Ryusui stills for a moment. You yawn, letting go of him. "Well, g'night, Ryu." is the last thing you say before entering, closing the door behind you.

A beat, and one more, before, a tint of pink dusts his cheeks.

It wasn't much, but it was progress. He went straight to bed after that, eyes curving with a little more mirth that night.

Dr. Stone Headcanons: As Parents Edition!

Senku: He would most likely adopt, mostly because he doesn't see himself having relations with anyone he would procreate with. He wouldn't be able to handle more than two kids, and he better hope they're into science because he would annoy and bore his kids to death if they aren't. He'd try his best to parent just like his dad; supportive and loving. Senku would take them everywhere, he'd possibly even understand why his dad wouldn't stop talking about him because he wouldn't stop talking about his kids. He'd even talk to his kids about how amazing his dad was. He'd have a smile on his face and teary eyes just mentioning him, but he'd spend hours telling stories to his kids.

Gen: He'd be a very nervous parent at first. Biologically his or adopted, he'd never feel ready when he first held his baby in his hands. He wouldn't feel ready until he learned everything there is to being a father. Gen would be a little overbearing but it's all with love. He'd constantly be afraid that he is coddling his kid too much but he'd try his best. His kid would be so impressed by his little magic tricks and impressions, they'd probably want to grow up to be an entertainer. He'd be hesitant because he knows how stressful the industry can be, but he'd support them. Oh, and you know he is going to tell a lot of cringy dad jokes.

Chrome: Man, he'd be such a dorky dad. The second he would get a hint that his kid(s) would need something, he'd "invent" something only to be told that it was already a thing by the pre-petrification people. He'd also be a little clumsy too. Chrome would even be the kind of dad that would sneak sweets to the kid(s) when the other parent told them they couldn't have any. He'd spoil his kid(s) so much that he wouldn't ever have anything nice to himself because all of his worldly possessions would practically go to them. He'd also want to take them hiking or exploring to learn the lay of the land or find minerals and learn about them.

Tsukasa: Just like how he was for his sister, he would be a provider. He'd make sure that his kids have everything they need. He wouldn't be home a lot, but when he would be, he'd spend every second of their waking hours with them. He'd deeply care for his children. He'd also want to teach them how to care for themselves early on just in case he's not always around. Though he wouldn't be the best at emotionally connecting with his children.

Ukyo: He'd never want to be a parent in the first place, but he'd accept being a dad if it came to it. At first he would be anxious, but his great hearing actually helps him parent better, at least in the infant stages. It'd be like his sixth sense to immediately know what his kid needs and he'd smoothly handle any situation flawlessly. He'd be an excellent problem solver, making sure his kid has everything they need.

Ryusui: Because he'd want to keep the Nanami Corp. legacy going, he'd have multiple children, maybe four. He'd want to have them close in age and make sure they bond. While he wouldn't be so attentive to their basic needs (He has Francois for that), he'd be there for their financial and emotional needs. He'd make sure all of them know how to manage money, upkeep a business, and stay rich. Oh, and of course he would take his kids sailing all the time, as well as indulging in every single of their whims. If they want something, he just has to get it for them because how could he deny any of their desires? His greed would almost definitely extend to his children.

Kohaku: She'd be a little overbearing but only because she had to go through years of trying to heal her sister. She'd also be a provider, but also a pretty scary mama bear. She'd be a strong protector and no one would want to mess with her kids. They'd be strong just like her, with incredible sight too. She'd train them just how she was taught how to fight and make sure that they learn science from the best, Senku. She'd think about the future of her kids and how much the Kingdom of Science has changed her life. She would want everyone in her life to also be a little involved in her kids' lives.

Francois: They could have a kid canonically and we don't know it. We don't even know how old they are. Ryusui barely knows anything about this person. They are a lovely mystery and I'd like to think that they do have a kid or did pre-petrification and somehow the Nanami family just didn't know about it. Francois would somehow find the time and energy out of their exhausting day for their child. Otherwise, I think it'd be near impossible for them to have a kid with their busy schedule.

Ruri: She'd love every second of being a mom. She'd tell them stories every night (tell the 100 tales as tradition eventually), dress them up in matching outfits, and plan to travel the world with them. She would want to make sure that her kids see a lot of their aunt and learn a thing or two from her about how to be tough like her. She'd also want to take raise them around the Five Wise Commanders so that they could learn from them as well.

Yuzuriha: She'd be determined that her children are some sort of artists. She'd make every article of clothing they wear, every blanket they've every slept under, and every pillow they'd lay their heads on. Some her kids first stick figure drawing or finger painting, she'd proudly hang any piece of art up for display. A proud mother she would be if her kids turn out to be artists. She'd want to teach them everything she knows, which is mainly crafty stuff, but crucial to rebuilding society.

Taiju: He would be one of the most proudest fathers in the world. He'd be way too excited to be a dad, hyping up every moment he has with his kids. Their firsts would be like his firsts, no matter how many kids he would have. He'd be very fun to use as a jungle gym by his kids because he would practically be able to carry them anywhere and be climbed on easily. He would never wan to deny giving his kids a piggy back ride if they needed one because he wouldn't want their little legs to ache on a long walk.

Xeno & Stanley: Strict and Laid Back. Not saying which one though, that would be up for interpretation by literally anybody that interacts with these two and their children. (Yes I ship these two, I'll be tagging that)

Sai: He'd want to pass on his hobbies and passions to his children, but he'd never want to make it seem like they had to be a successor of anything. He'd want them to share what he loves, but also feel free enough to follow their own dreams and use their gifts for something that they're comfortable with. He'd feel bad for not hanging out with his brother when they were younger, so he'd make sure his kids have good quality bonding time with each other to maintain a close relationship that he sort of wishes he had always had with Ryusui.

I'm doing this in addition because it will be short and funny to make :)

I'm kind of overworked? I don't have that much time to write but I'm still here.

I'm not sure if "Drabbles" is what I should name this but I'm not familiar with "headcanons". English is still complicated...

Before reading, I'd like to warn you that it is more about you than the relationship with Xeno. It's the first one so I'll make the others with more love between you and this man :)

Anyway, let's go !

- First of all, you two known each other since highschool. Which means you also know Stanley as well. You weren't the best of friends at this time but you would always do some outings with them sometimes. Then years after you would stumble with one of them in a supermarket and just like that the three of you decided to do outings again. This time though, you and Xeno get much more closer. Leading to both of you marrying and living life together.

- You actually won an award in boxing after marrying the scientist. I think it makes sense that when Stanley has vacations, you two fight for training. You would go on morning runs together and spend the afternoon sparring. You both take time to compliment the other afterwards. Like besties you know?

- Imagine if you smoke too. Xeno would actually murder you both.

- Then the petrification beam happens. If Xeno is the brain and Stanley his strength on terms of combat, you are his strength in informations. Both Stanley and you are really strong. One a soldier and the other a Olympic Champion. Xeno uses his best friend as his attacking token while you, his beautiful wife, is his spy.

- I imagine you covered with a cloak going on expedition for him. Being his spy doesn't mean always stalking someone. Most of the time he'll send you collecting data on a certain area. This way he knows what resources are where. It's actually you that told him about the arrival of Senku's team. You are always patrolling and reporting everything that seems odd to him.

- Before petrification you were really based on the rules of boxing but after waking up in the Stone World, there where no rules anymore. You kind of created your own style ? Box is mostly about hands you would think, but you actually prefer using your legs and feet. Everytime you encounter an enemy, human or not, you would always use your legs first and if it's a strong opponent you will use your hands in addition. You can jump high, you are more in trees than on the ground. Actually you might be an American Kohaku !

- So your job is to collect data, not fighting every little thing that makes a move. Xeno is strict on this. Even if he has absolute confidence on your capabilities, he don't want you to be in danger. This is why you didn't jump on Senku to fight him and his group. Actually it is better if nobody of the kingdom of science knows about you. After all the key to win a war is information !

Now that I have presented you, here's some short altercations that I imagined could happen between you and the kingdom of science.

First encounter happened with Gen, our Mentalist.

You heard the crash of the plane and ran to it. You found Stanley and couldn't help a snicker to escape. He wasn't laughing though.

While he left foot steps to prepare his trap, you decided you would stay with him and return to the base together. You had finish your patrol and really wanted to come back in the arms of your husband.

Eventually, Gen came to you and you had to guide him. Stanley was way before you, he cannot walk slowly with those tall legs of his. And Gen wasn't really the type to rush, let's say. So you where between, you really wanted to walk with Stan but couldn't let the guest behind. You tried to make him walk faster but the Mentalist was always answering with another question.

And then the drama happened. You were focusing on Gen, you ended up taking another way and happened, totally not for the plot, to stumble on a dangerous road. For you it was a piece of cake but not for the Mentalist. You walked as if there wasn't a risk that the ground under your feet collapses, it wasn't the case for our boy. Gen possibly trip.

But as the kind person you where, also because if you didn't you would never be home at this point, you removed your cloak and turned your back to him, kneeling. A little embarassed, Gen got on your back and this time you actually walked faster, almost running.

Gen will remember that you are a kind person. And that you can hold someone and run like nothing. Even more terrifying if you are in heals.

And you got your hug also.

The second happened with Tsukasa.

They were joining Chrome and Kohaku when they saw what looked like a camera of the stone world. It was at the bottom of a tree. They decided to take it with them, it could be usefull? But that wasn't to your liking.

The camera was actually filed by you. Xeno had given you one to test and you were searching for the best place to put it. It wasn't actually capable of filming so it was rather a recorder for Xeno to know directly what happens in the forest. But those kids just took it from you. I mean, yes you left it there but they weren't supposed to pass by ??

So you where tracking them. It was actually not that easy since Tsukasa as a fucking third eye. And you got tired of hiding. You couldn't just follow them and hope that one of them decides to abandon the prototype.

You couldn't just stop in front of them and ask for it back (actually it might've worked?), so you attacked by the top, taking them by surprise.

Tsukasa was the one that had the camera, so you were focused on him. You could tell he was strong, they were all strong actually. Instead of just fighting with him, you used your awareness of the place to trick him.

Landing hard on the ground next to him, you kicked the ground further to make the earth spurt out. Tsukasa immediately knew you were not someone he could underestimate, He launched the camera to someone else but it was your plan. Xeno had told you to avoid fighting so you did so. Before someone could catch it, you hit it with a stone, making the trajectory change, giving you time to catch it instead.

All of this happened really fast and the small group was left shocked.

You stood on a branch and just winked at Tsukasa.

He was genuinely curious. You had no will to hurt any of them, he couldn't detect you.

You then placed the camera and came back to Xeno.

The third and last one is with the group that kidnapped Xeno.

For the last part of the plan, you came with Stanley and the others to take control of the opponent's base. It was successful but you couldn't stop your heart to beat at high speed. Something was wrong.

Then, your eyes turned by instinct to the end of the boat.

You saw it, the small black dote growing bigger by seconds.

Senku and his group arrived with a new boat and used medusa as bait.

But you didn't care if this thing could turn you back to stone, they had Xeno. Your husband. The man of your life. Your legs ran by themself and with everyone surprise, you jump on a boat at high speed. This is really a scene from a movie. Not without harm, you landed in front of Ukyo who was mortified. What the heck? Where you crazy? Who jump on a boat at that speed?

You knew you wouldn't be of use to Xeno this way but you couldn't let him go alone with them. It was impossible for you.

And for the rest of their travel, you wouldn't leave Xeno's side. You remembered Gen and Tsukasa, and because they talked for you, you weren't tied up.

Xeno got a little angry at you for that movie move you did but he couldn't lie to himself, he was way to happy to have you.

And now that both of you were in the hands of Senku, the boy could feel death stare even more... deathly? on his back.

I like strong women.

so its been what, a month? since i started working at the bakery cafe 😜 and that calls for more headcanons of senku as the annoying regular

first of all, he was already a regular when you started working there.

"who are you?" he asks when you bring his order instead of kohaku or jasper. you tell him your name with a smile, trying not to smack him with the tray at his rude question. of course after you get to know each other, the passive-agressiveness increases between you two. he tells you that he is studying at the university close by and you tell him you are too.

as time goes by, you exchange contact information, just so he can spam your phone before he comes in so you have his order ready (double texting fears bro). whenever he sees you posting stories having fun or literally anything, he will reply saying something like "so this is why my coffee wasn't that good today, disappointing. get more days at work."

he doesn't even realize what he said until you point it out and mock him for it. "aww, are you saying i make the best coffee?"

"no, i am saying that factually it is the least worst one. kohaku burns it somehow, jasper's coffee makes me think of retirement. yours is only barely tasteable for my refined taste so therefore the least worst."

"whatever u say brah💀" what makes it for him though, is the next text: "then make your own coffee."

"i make the best coffee on this planet, probably."

and so, you find yourself on a thursday afternoon, sitting in his living room as he makes coffee.

"senku i fucking hate coffee, i have no way of determining if this is good or not" (me probably and the rest of the coffee haters). he makes you tea, the good thing about tea is that there is not much to it as long as you're not brewing it with leaves and are simply using the little tea bags, so he can't fucking brag about it either.

for theatrics and inclusions, if you do like coffee, he serves it to you and it is surprisingly good. he says 'i told you so' like the genius he is 💀, he invites you once in a while to his house to drink coffee while he talks your ears off about science.

nowwwww, we forgot to mention the pastries 😈

senku likes sweets. think of it like a L from death note situation... joking, but he does like sweets. my evidence? he got petrified drinking an energy drink.

he likes chocolate, but not excessively, it is actually pretty easy for him to find the food cloying after a few bites. red velvet is a meh, carrot cake is good but unmemorable, cheesecake has a nice texture but too sweet after a while... so his favorite is napoleon cake, sweet but not so much, if he is feeling fancy he will get a berry napoleon.

will ask for a recommendation on pastries and try it and then complain that he didn't like it. my personal favorite pastry is plain tres leches, which he would like because its sweet but not too much and its just like watery and mhhhmhghhghm delicious (is this blantant bias and favoritism in our year of the lord 2025?)

Could we get dr stone characters reacting to reader mentioning they have a crush on xeno

Alright, so, I decided to do little blurbs for this ask since a lot of these guys would have pretty similar reactions and it’d get repetitive. So, I chose some of the more fun people to explore for this situation and expanded on them a little. I hope these are properly varied and not too samey. Also, sorry if anyone seems a little off here, I decided to practice some sparcely written about babs, so I don’t have the most experience with some of these guys lol.

SENKU ISHIGAMI

“You fucking would like him, wouldn’t you?” Senku snorted after a heavy pause had followed your confession. The amusement and teasing enough to earn a fresh wave of hellish heat in your cheeks. “Huh?! What does that mean?” You huffed, but the leek-haired man waved your question away without his crimson eyes ever leaving his experiment. “It just means you clearly have a type, it’s not an insult.” “Then why did you say it like that?!” “Because it’s still funny,” Senku said with another snort, and while you couldn’t see his face with his back to you, you could hear the smirk he wore in his words. “You just have the vibe of someone who would crush on an amoral man like Xeno or Hyoga. Though…” He finally lifted his head to think for a moment before he continued. “I guess this means I owe Gen 20 Dragos. Man, why couldn’t you have had the hots for Hyoga instead? Or Tsukasa? Tsukasa’s morals are flexible, y’know.” He complained, his attention returned to his experiment with no mind to the gobsmacked expression you wore behind him. “YOU FUCKING BET ON WHO I LIKED?!”

LUNA WRIGHT

The pink-haired girl gave you an almost grossed-out look. Her hand paused with the nail polish wand over your fingernail. “Are you being serious?” She asked, and when you nodded her frown deepened. And when she spoke, it was with an edge of disgust to her supportive words. “I guess I won’t judge you for your taste in men, but he definitely wouldn’t be my first choice. The money is good, but he’s got that weird thing with Stanley going on and I like attention far too much.”

With that, she returned to painting your nails and left the conversation there. Outside of, of course, some rather prying questions about why you found the mad scientist so attractive, why you didn’t crush on Stan instead, and whether or not you would seriously try to pursue Xeno of all people. She even shared some of her more embarrassing crushes from the past, which made for a fun chat as she painted your nails and did your makeup as best she could with the supplies she had.

HYOGA AKATSUKI

You weren’t sure why you told the white-haired, masked man of your soft feelings for Dr. Xeno Wingfield, but he didn’t seem to react to the admission. He simply kept his focus on the sticks he sharpened for the hunting trap you worked at. When he did finally speak, it was to bluntly ask, “Would you betray us for him?” His words almost laced with that same tone a parent got when they asked how serious your high school relationship was. A mix of curiosity and humoring that made your glare darken even further when paired with the partial accusation. “Then it’s not worth focusing on. Just keep digging the tiger pit.” And that was where he left the topic.

Which, was an odd relief. You were able to get the truth off of your chest without any judgement and leave it on the forest floor with the dirt and rocks that you carved out of the ground. Hyoga had been a dick about it, but you could forgive that.

KOHAKU

“Heh? Xeno?” Your closest friend, supposed confidant, asked as the two of you sat on a tree branch to watch Suika play under the noon sun with Chalk. “Why Xeno of all people? He’s pompous, arrogant, and a jerk. If you like men like that, just date Senku.” “Ew, I don’t want to date Senku, he’s a jerk.” You said with a pink-faced scowl, which made Kohaku give a bark of laughter. “And Xeno isn’t?! His people tried to kill us multiple times over. He’s a snob, he’s condescending, and every word I’ve heard him say to you is some sort of insult. At least Senku doesn’t talk to us like we’re infants.” She snorted, Xeno’s flaws counted off on her fingers as you huffed and kicked your feet lazily. “Xeno is not that bad, Kohaku. He’s friends with Stan, so he’s obviously capable of kindness. And you forgave Tsukasa despite his whole attempt at a war, so why are you bringing that up now?” You argued, and the blonde shrugged, “Tsukasa’s clearly repented. He fought with Senku against Hyoga, and he already died to make up for that war. Xeno’s remorseless.” And that made you roll your eyes and groan. A hand over your eyes as you just waved her looks off, “Just drop it. I’m sorry I brought it up.” “No, explain yourself. What do you see in Xeno that Senku doesn’t have? Have you had a crush on Senku too?” She asked, amusement able to slip into her words as she watched you curl up like a dying spider on the branch. “Oh my god, Kohaku, stop!”

CHROME

You regretted mentioning Xeno while you helped sort rocks the moment the words left your mouth… “Why don’t you like Senku instead? Senku’s great, and he’s a lot nicer.” Chrome pointed out, his own basket of stones and crystals forgotten with the rest of the gossip and jokes you’d been swapping with him. “I dunno, Chrome, I-I just don’t. I don’t even really like Xeno, he just has his moments.” You sighed, your cheeks on fire as you tried to keep your eyes on the geode in your hands. Though that did little to dissuade the brunette. “Senku has his moments too.” He offered, “I mean, just about every girl in the village likes him, Kohaku probably likes him too, plus he’s a good dude. Probably smarter than Xeno, too.” before he went on to list the many, many pros that Senku offered that Xeno didn’t.

On one hand, you were thankful that the brunette didn’t berate you and question your morality for your attraction to the mad scientist. But, on the other hand, the sales pitch he launched into was humiliating in its own right, even if you tried to tune him out like you might a stubborn fly.

STANLEY SNYDER

“How did you even find out about that?!” You squawked, face hot with embarrassment as you tried to will the tall marine who stood in front of you to death. Which only made Stanley Snyder laugh, “Did you seriously expect to tell Luna something like that and for her to not gossip? You’re not the brightest bulb, are you darlin’?” And that just worsened the shame in your gut. Though it was nothing compared to the next blow to you that he gave. “Plus, you’re not the most subtle of people. I’m pretty sure the only person unaware of your lil crush is Xee.” “Please kill me…” You muttered, your face now in your hands so you wouldn’t have to see the smirk on Stanley’s darkly lipstick’d lips as he chuckled, “Nah, this is too funny to do that.” “I hate you...”

This was harder than it had any right to be

Warning: Manga Spoilers Ahead

It had been an accident, you hadn’t meant to fall in love with him. But spending 100 days being dragged around with him as he chased your brother and his team to South America did something to you. It forced you to understand him, to learn who he was and who he had the potential to be in the future. You looked past all his sharp edges and rough words and found something worth holding onto. 

You spent night after night talking to him, somehow going from sitting far away, to being right at his side with his arm snaked around your waist and your head on his shoulder. 

You told him about your and Senku’s parents deaths, about living with Byakuya, and what it was like being constantly compared to your little brother by others. And in turn, Stanley would talk about growing up with Xeno, making his devotion to the other man grow clearer and clearer. 

Though, when you jokingly called their relationship romantic, Stanley’s nose curled in a way that told you it really wasn’t like that. 

But as your relationship grew, so too did your fear of what happened when Stanley finally caught up with Senku. He’d started this trek across the world determined to kill him for taking Xeno hostage, and yet the two of you had become close. You would have to pick a side, and though you knew that there was no way you’d abandon your little brother, leaving Stan behind was going to hurt. 

You loved him, and you think maybe he loved you too. At least a little bit, anyway. 

He almost kisses you the night before the world is petrified for a second time, and it’s the only thing you can think about while trapped in stone for the next several years. 

You remember how his fingers had felt, warm and rough with callouses from years in the military. How he’d caressed your face in a moment of pure quiet between the two of you, before tilting your chin up so that you were forced to look him in the eye. The heat in his gaze had made your heart jump into your throat. His other arm had curled around your middle, pulling you into his chest and holding you there for what felt like an eternity, but as you both leaned in, you’d been interrupted and forced apart with a promise of next time. 

Except next time didn’t come. Not for a long while. 

Stanley doesn’t get freed from the stone like the rest of you do. He instead just gets thrown onto a ship and stored away where only a few knew where he was, you being one of them. 

You find time to visit his statue every day after working on the rocket, talking to yourself about what was going on as if he were listening, and keeping him tidy. He owed you a kiss, and Senku an apology at the very least after all.

“I’m sorry, we’re freeing who?” 

The whole group is shocked at the announcement. Not only was Ryusui giving up on going to the moon, but he’d offered his spot to Stanley of all people. 

“It makes logical sense,” Xeno says, Senku nodding along with him. “Stanley is the world's greatest marksman, and he’s an experienced combat professional. He will no doubt be a great asset on the moon.” 

“But he tried to kill all of us!” Chrome says, and even you have to agree. Stanley may have shoved you out of the way that day, saving you but he’d been hellbent on gunning everyone else down. Just because you loved him, that didn’t mean he wasn’t still dangerous. 

“We are no longer on different sides. Stanley is a soldier who will follow all orders given to him to perfection,” Xeno says. 

“I suppose we could call this atonement,” Kohaku muses. “For everything he’s done so far.” 

Your heart is hammering hard in your chest. They were going to wake him up, and not only that, they were sending him on the most dangerous mission ever concocted. You couldn’t figure out whether you were excited to see him, or devastated that you may never lay eyes on him again in your lifetime.

Your startled from your thoughts at the sound of your name. 

“Are you coming, my dear?” Xeno asks, head tilting slightly. 

“Yeah, sure,” You say, hoping you sound nonchalant. You had a feeling he’d caught on to your affection for his right hand man a long time ago, and the way he smiles slightly at your response buries that idea even further into your head. 

You follow slightly behind everyone else while you get your thoughts on the matter in total order. Xeno seemed to know, or at least suspect, that you and Stanley had formed something, but was he the only one? Or had you been way more obvious than you thought you were? It wasn’t a big surprise that Senku hadn’t questioned it, assuming he also figured it out. He’d always stayed out of your relationships, claiming that they never mattered to him in the slightest. 

It feels a little strange to have so many people in the cave with you, but you figure the numbers aren’t a bad thing. If Stanley wakes up and chooses violence before hearing anyone out, the more people there to stop him, the better. 

He’s changed out of the vines that had been hurriedly thrown on him so long ago now and into a new outfit made for him by Yuzuriha, and you watch with bated breath as Xeno pours the revival fluid over him. 

The waiting is the worst part. Sure, the revival fluid so far had a 100% guarantee to work, but what if this time it didn’t? What if the stone stayed solid, instead of cracking and crumbling away? What if Stanley never breathed again, and you’ve forever lost the chance to build something with someone you cared so deeply about?

But, as expected, the stone does crack and crumble, and Stanley does suck in a breath, letting it out slowly when Xeno offers him a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. Few words are said between him and Xeno, even fewer between him and everyone else. It’s only after Senku confirms Stanley’s absolute skill that his eyes drift past the two scientists and land on you. His gaze flits across your form, a tiny smirk growing at the corner of his mouth. 

“Hello beautiful,” Stanley finally speaks to you after what feels like an eternity, his words sending heat to your cheeks.

“Hi,” You say back softly. Senku lets out a soft ugh, and makes quick tracks for the cave entrance. 

“You two do whatever this is in here, we’re going back,” He says. Chrome and Tsukasa hesitate before following Senku, and Xeno is the last to leave. He pats your shoulder as he walks by, offering you a small nod before he, too, vanishes from the cave. 

The two of you stand in silence, the only noise being the waterfall and the distant sounds of birds beyond the watery doorway. You watch Stanley take a couple more drags of his cigarette before dropping and snuffing it under his boot. 

“You gonna come over here, or are you gonna make me come to you?” He asks, and it’s like a switch finally flips in your brain. 

You jolt forward, running the handful of steps it takes to reach him and slam into his chest. He doesn’t stumble back, doesn’t even seem to budge at all when you do, his form firm and steady. You wrap your arms around him, inhaling a long breath, letting the stench of his freshly put out cigarette fill your nose. You feel his chuckle more than you hear it, the sound vibrating in his chest as he holds you in return.

“I missed you,” You whisper. Stanley lets out a low hum in response. 

Your heart falls into your stomach when he pulls away from you, but he doesn’t allow you to sink into despair. Both his hands rise to cup your face, his clawed gloves cool against your heated skin. His eyes have the same heat as the night he nearly kissed you.

“Missed you too,” He says softly. 

You start to respond, but he doesn’t give you the chance. He dips his head and presses his lips against yours. He kisses you like he’s been starving for it, like it was all he’d been able to think about for all that time he spent petrified a second time, and it leaves you totally breathless and feeling a bit drunk. 

“Th-this doesn’t make up for shooting my little brother,” You blurt out without thinking. It makes him laugh. Not chuckle, not hum, laugh. 

“That’s fair,” He says. 

“Can you do it again?” 

“Gladly.”

Day 19

Niki wrapped the bandages around Rinne’s arm, just tight enough to be slightly uncomfortable, but not too tight to restrict blood flow. They were well familiar with this song and dance, the pot of herb infused blood cooling on the counter as Niki scolded Rinne for not taking enough care of himself.

“Rinne-kun, you have to--” 

“I know, Niki.” The silence was deafening. Sometimes, Niki wished Rinne had never told him about the world of magic, about being a scribe, but if he had hidden it, his life would be boring and he’d never have gotten to know Rinne as deeply as he did. The two of them had traveled the world together, allowing Niki to try out cuisine from countries he hadn’t ever dreamed of visiting before, so it wasn’t all bad, all things considered. 

But still, Rinne had insisted on continuing to write spells, spells that helped Niki improve his cooking, helped his condition, spells that could do wonderful things and help people in bad situations. They were frequent visitors at youth shelters wherever they lived with a spell to multiply their food to feed everyone working under the table. They could use the spells over and over as long as Rinne was alive, but Rinne insisted on having extra ink for emergencies. 

Niki’s hands brushed over the bandage, wanting to scold Rinne for his stupidity, draining more blood than usual for this batch. He’d be bedridden for at least a week. 

“What are you writing?” Niki asked, trying to change the subject. 

“A protection spell.” Rinne’s eyes shifted to the ground, avoiding Niki’s glare. 

“Rinne-kun, you know those don’t work on you and I’ve already told you I’m not leaving you.” 

“‘S not for you.” 

“Then who’s it for?” 

“Kohaku-chan, back home. He’s been getting into dangerous situations again and the last book wore out.” Kohaku must be using the spells more frequently than they realized if they were already falling apart. 

“Fine, but promise me you’ll wait to write it until you’re feeling better.” Niki was already planning out their meals for the next week to raise Rinne’s iron levels and help him recover. Rinne leaned forward, arms wrapping around Niki’s torso and pulling him in. Rinne buried his face in Niki’s shoulder. 

“I promise.” 

“Now let’s get you to bed. You’ve got a long week ahead of you.”

• Chrome is someone who always wants to make himself useful. If he can do things to make your life easier or to make you smile — he will. This translates into how he shows affection to a partner.

• Considering the effort he puts into science just to try and heal Ruri, actions speak louder than words for him. By no means is he someone who can properly express himself through words to you, anyway. He’d be far too flustered.

• Instead, he takes to using a combination of acts of service and gift giving to show that he loves and cares about you. If you’ve complained of a problem — no matter how small — he’ll put forth as much effort as possible to solve it with science.

• If you ever feel sore after a long days of work, he can figure out how to make something to help soothe it! Surely, after making the sulfa drug, it won’t be as hard! Having trouble hauling things up and downhill? He’ll find a process to make it easier for you! If not, he’ll just help you himself, of course! Whatever it is that he can do — he will. If it means making your life easier or taking a little off your workload, he’d do anything in his power.

• For the most part, he’ll try his best to figure it out on his own, but he isn’t afraid to ask Senku for help if it’s for your sake. Once he’s finished, he’ll happily showcase whatever it is he’s made to you — explaining the process behind it as he does so.

• In all honesty, doing things for you, making things for you — it comes naturally to him. Chrome is creative yet practical. In his eyes, of course he’ll make something if you mentioned having a problem with it. Of course, he’ll make you a gift reflective of something from the modern age because you mentioned it. Science is all about making things easier for others and making people smile, so is it so strange that he’ll do that for you — a person he loves so dearly?

• The process coming naturally to him doesn’t mean he puts no thought into it — quite the opposite, actually. Showing his affection through action and gifts comes naturally because he’s always considering you in all he does. He thinks about the smile you’ll have on your face, or the fact that if you could, you’d also do so much for him purely because you love him.

• You support him in a way no one else has before, so he repays you in the way that makes the most sense to him — science and all of the gifts it can offer to you.

• At the end of the day, any all-nighters, struggles, and pain is worth seeing you smile. In Chrome’s eyes, seeing you smile is far more fulfilling than his experimenting creating a fruitful product.

• Chrome thinks that if he can keep making you happy with something he loves doing — something you’ve always effortlessly supported him in, then it just makes his chosen path even more worthwhile.

• Considering the amount of effort he puts in for others, Chrome really values when people recognize it. He loves hearing praise and affirmation for his achievements — true recognition for the amount of painful labor that goes into every scientific project he works on with Senku and Kaseki.

• If you praise him for figuring something out on his own, regardless of whether or not it’s something that people from the modern era have already seen, he’ll try to act casually. Chrome will insist that it’s only natural he managed — he is a scientist, after all!

• However, you don’t miss the way he genuinely smiles, face flushed a light shade of red — elated that someone recognizes the hard work and passion he puts into every single process he does.

• After a while of inventing crazy things, smaller things might go unnoticed despite the effort they take, so Chrome really appreciates that you still praise and happily share awe over these things. He likes knowing that he doesn’t have to create something absolutely crazy to be worthy of your praise — you see the effort, not the end product.

• Beyond just praise for his achievements, Chrome needs someone who’ll be there at his low points. It can get frustrating when he relentlessly experiments to no avail, or when he feels like he’s made a huge oversight that’ll result in him having to start from scratch.

• While he’ll never openly express it to others, he has his moments where he feels worlds behind Senku or even Kaseki’s level of intelligence. Some days, he still feels like the boy that called himself a sorcerer with no clue as to the processes behind what he was doing. Sometimes, he loses track of the progress he’s made.

• That’s why it’s so important that you remind him that he is a scientist — he brings his own expertise to the table that even Senku or Kaseki don’t. You remind Chrome that he’s earned his place as a scientist through backbreaking effort and a desire for knowledge.

• When he struggles with an experiment, you channel excitement back into the conversation, insisting that you can’t wait to see what he’ll try next. When he makes an oversight, you tell Chrome that he’s finally got it figured out, so he’s one step closer to the satisfaction of the end product. In Chrome’s moments of doubt, you remind him of how much he’s accomplished and encourage him to keep going.

• Because at the end of the day, he’s bound to have his ups and downs. Having you there to remind him that someone is supporting him — that someone loves him despite any failures or drawbacks is so important to him. It makes things easier and all the more worthwhile.

• Gen is skilled when it comes to the way he uses his words. It’d be no different when it comes to his partner. He knows exactly what to say no matter the mood you're in — happy to provide words of comfort, reassurance, and support.

• However, don’t mistake his actions as manipulative or deceitful. He will never say anything to you that he doesn’t mean — each carefully selected word is truthful, always reflecting what he believes. Being good with words mixed with being a mentalist does not mean he’ll lie to you.

• Actually, being a mentalist is what helps Gen understand the weight and power that words can have over a person. The last thing he’d ever want to do is use that to hurt you — so he’ll be truthful with all that he says to you.

• Honestly, it’s not difficult for him to be honest when it comes to you. When he praises you, it’s because he’s genuinely proud of the effort you’ve put in. When he helps reassure you, it’s because he knows that, with time, things will improve. After all, he’ll be there by your side to ensure that it gets better. When Gen provides comfort, promising to remain by your side no matter the situation, it’s because he wants to — he hopes to keep that promise regardless of any hardships you may face in the Stone World.

• Gen is far too used to having to use his words to deceive others, so it’s relieving to be able to use them in the way he wants when it comes to you. He doesn’t have to worry about you being skeptical of what he’s saying. You trust him — you know that he’ll never do anything to try and trick you. Every word he says to you is true, and even if he did feel the need to conceal the truth from you, you’d know it’s because he has a good reason to.

• Above all else, Gen wants to protect you and be a constant source of support for you. Whenever you struggle, he wants you to know that you can come to him and he’ll talk you through all of your troubles.

• With Gen by your side, you’ll never stay nervous for too long. As soon as he notices that you’re worrying about something, Gen will be there to soothe you — happy to remind you that he loves you dearly, and no matter what may happen, he’ll be there to support you.

• When it comes to what Gen prefers to receive, acts of service rank the highest for him.

• Gen is used to doing things and having things done for him because of deals he makes. If someone does something for him unprompted, he automatically assumes that it’s because the other person wants something from him.

• Having someone do things for him to make his life easier or to make him happy, purely because they love him, is something that Gen isn’t used to.

• In the modern world, people did things for him because he was famous and they wanted something, be it money or fame. In the New World, people do things for him in order to convince him to use his abilities as a mentalist for some insane plan with a slim chance of working.

• Most things done for him are purely transactional, so when you do things for him, he’s shocked to learn that you expect nothing in return. He tries to scan you for any sign that you may be lying but finds nothing. When he asks why and you respond that it’s because you love him, it’s difficult for him not to fall for you even harder than before.

• Despite being so unfamiliar with this type of affection, Gen adores it. You’re always looking out for him and considering him without him having to say anything. You’ll lend a helping hand without Gen asking, and you’ll make things for him when you recognize that he’s getting worn out.

• Overall, you’re always thinking of him and it shows in the way you act. And every time he asks how he can repay you — if you want anything in return — you’re quick to shut him down. You’ve never needed him to do anything in return — it was never, and will never be, transactional to you.

• To you, he’s enough. Loving him is enough of a repayment, and Gen has never felt happier to have you by his side.

• Kohaku doesn’t see the value in materialistic things, and often finds herself too busy with various tasks to truly offer up as much time as she’d like to you. However, she can show her love through actions.

• Similar to how she hauled hot spring water back and forth for Ruri when she was ill, Kohaku expresses her love in the things she does for you. Her each and every action is imbued with her heartfelt wish to see you happy. There is no limit to the lengths she’ll go to to see you smile.

• If you’re sick, Kohaku will fret over you — stemming from a mix of concern for your well-being and a fear that you’ll become as unwell as her sister did. She hasn’t lost anyone since science was introduced in her life, and she certainly isn’t planning on doing so now.

• Even when you’re not sick, Kohaku is always looking out for you. Nothing escapes her keen eye. When you find yourself even a little tired, Kohaku is there to offer you a shoulder to lay on while you recover and rest. If you’re injured, she’s the first one to help you sit down and try her best to patch you up.

• Despite how direct Kohaku can be, she’s always shown affection better through actions than words. She doesn’t consider herself intelligent like Senku or good with words like Gen. However, she’s nothing if not honest, so her love reflects in the way she acts.

• Kohaku has a good enough memory to recall the things you’ve mentioned wanting or needing. As much as she wishes that she could do something about it herself, she’s happy to pass the task on to the Science Team. If it’ll make you smile, she doesn’t feel the need to be the direct reason for it.

• Though, even if she tries to insist she didn’t lift a finger, the scientists will always credit her for any ideas she brings up on your behalf. As much as she tries to brush it off, she can’t deny the way her heart flutters when she receives your genuine gratitude.

• Kohaku is happy to do anything and everything for you. She wants to protect you because you make her happy — and you’re someone precious to her. If it takes a little effort on her part to keep you healthy and protected, she’s happy to contribute. After all, to her, you’re worth it.

give | receive ~ physical affection

• Kohaku enjoys being shown that she’s loved and cared for. For her, the best way to do that is through physical affection. Kohaku often treats others roughly, having always been someone with a tough love type of mindset.

• However, when it comes to herself, she appreciates it when someone treats her kindly. More often than not, the only touch she experiences is through sparring and fighting — never anything gentle or loving.

• Growing up, she became far too afraid to show affection to Ruri due to her sickly state, not wanting to accidentally injure her sister. Even now, she’s often told that she hugs too tight or squeezes too hard. It makes her afraid to initiate affection.

• It becomes incredibly important to her when you start initiating physical contact on your own. She can be a bit of a brute sometimes — aren’t you afraid?

• She’s equally relieved and elated that you aren’t. You’re happy to shower her in gentle affection and touch — bringing her a lot of comfort. When things get tough, she needs that physical touch as a reminder that you’re still there — that you’re alive.

• The Kingdom of Science has many close brushes with death. Naturally, this’ll include you and Kohaku. When it’s all said and done, she loves being able to relax in your embrace and listen to your heartbeat.

• When she’s having a hard time, she doesn’t always want to talk, so it’s nice to have someone there who won’t force her into speaking about her troubles. Kohaku enjoys that you’ll just be there to hold her tight and soothe her when things start to get heavy.

• As protective as she is of you, she enjoys having someone who wants to protect her, as well. She enjoys knowing that you’ll always be there for her — that you’ll never shy away from giving her affection even if she can be a little brash or rough at times.

• Kohaku may be a warrior, but she’s still human. She craves that physical touch from you, consciously or otherwise. Whether it be holding your hand while walking around, or her just gravitating to your side when she isn’t busy — she always seeks out your warmth.

• Of course, if someone calls her out on it, she’s quick to deny it. However, as long as you don’t mind it, she’s happy to receive your love and touch because it shows her how much you truly do love her.

• Ryusui has a lot of money at his disposal in the modern era and in the new age now, as well. While he can be indulgent, he’s also smart with his money. He uses it intentionally and can remember just about everything he’s spent his money on. He uses his money to uplift and motivate others, so it’s only natural that he does the same with you.

• Even in the New World, he could buy just about anything he wanted. However, when it comes to selecting gifts for you, he’s intentional about it. He sees no point in giving someone a gift if you aren’t going to carefully consider the other person’s preferences. It’d be a waste of money, and it wouldn’t do much to motivate you or make you happy, so he knows he has to be careful.

• Despite his carefulness with money, Ryusui would be more willing to spend more to indulge you. He loves you, and he wants to make sure you know it. Of course, if you tell him not to go overboard with it, he’ll listen to you.

• He’ll find whatever excuse he can to get you a gift. If a mission is successful, he’ll buy you something to commemorate. If he’s been away for a long while, he’ll buy you something to make up for it. Even if you just mention wanting something, he’ll buy it or will pay the science team to make it.

• By no means is he trying to buy your love. He isn’t the type. If he desires you, he knows he can’t just buy you out. Actually, the gifts serve the purpose to make you happy and to remind you of him when he’s busy. As the Kingdom of Science trusts him more, he finds that he’s busier and busier. To make up for it, he wants to make sure you’ll have things that remind you of him or will keep you occupied to ease the loneliness at least a little.

• For similar reasons, he’ll buy you clothing or accessories so, in a way, he can always be with you even when he’s away. Hell, if you wanted it, he’d give you his own things if it’ll help make you happy and ease your heart when he can’t be there with you himself.

• Ryusui knows that he can’t buy your happiness or love, but if the gifts he gets you can make you at least a little happier, then it’s worth it in his eyes. He desires anything and everything, but one of his strongest desires is to see you happy.

• The way you smile when you receive a heartfelt present from him is worth every penny he spends because, in return, he gets to show you how much he loves you and see you at your happiest. That alone is absolutely priceless.

give | receive ~ quality time (slight manga spoilers ahead)

• Since he was young, Ryusui has always seen the value in spending time with those you love. Memories are priceless, so he appreciates when you make time for him. He loves spending quality time with you working on something together, relaxing side-by-side, or even just sitting together and doing absolutely nothing.

• Considering how things went with his brother, Sai, he places an even bigger emphasis on spending time together. While he’ll usually go after what he desires, Ryusui is self-aware, so he knows that he may come off as forward and forceful. The last thing he wants us for you to feel pressured to spend your time with him. That’s why he enjoys it so much when you go out of your way to plan something with him or make time for him.

• Time is invaluable in his eyes. The fact that you’re so willing to give so much of it to him makes him feel loved — it lets him know that you care and you see him as someone worth spending time with. To him, it showcases the fact that you don’t need anything from him to want to spend time with him — you're happy just being by his side.

• Although Ryusui can be a bit flashy and extravagant in his chosen activities and hobbies, he’s happy to do anything with you. If you’d prefer a quiet night in, he’s elated to sit by your side and chat with you away from prying eyes. If you’d prefer something more adventurous — he’ll be there by your side should you ever grow fearful!

• He tries his best to make sure you two capture as many memories as possible in photos. He wants to remember every moment he spends with you.

• In his rare moments of frustration or melancholy, truthfully, he desires nothing more than your company. If he has to spend his day upset or frustrated over an issue or obstacle, he’d much rather do so with you by his side. He finds comfort in your presence, even appreciating if you’re simply in the room with him while he works.

• Being able to simply turn around and have you there means a lot to him. You could be anywhere doing whatever you please, but you’re choosing to instead spend that time in his presence. It makes his heart beat a little faster each and every time.

• Each time he remembers how wonderful it is that he has the person he desires most in the world by his side, he’ll walk over to you, hug you tightly, and thank you for remaining by his side.

• And it always makes Ryusui feel loved when you tell him that there’s nowhere else you’d rather be.

• Ukyo, with his precise hearing, is typically able to catch on when you’re having a tough time or are struggling with something. However, he isn’t exactly great with words, nor does he want to make you feel like you have to talk to him.

• He knows it can be a little uncomfortable because it’s hard to keep a secret from him. However, he never wants you to think he doesn’t care, so he uses physical affection to silently show you that he’s here for you, loves you, and is always willing to hear you out should you want someone to listen to.

• Whether it be a gentle hug, holding your hand, or lending you his shoulder, he’ll do all he can to express how much he adores you without making you feel pressured into telling him every little thing.

• Beyond just times of need, he’s happy to show you affection casually, as well. It comes naturally to him. When he’s sitting and working on something, he’s used to having you next to him and will let you lean against him or hold his hand. It’s not strange for him to have his hand intertwined with yours even when you’re just walking around the Kingdom of Science.

• Ukyo is a fan of soft, little shows of PDA here and there but will never do anything that’ll make you uncomfortable. If anything, he’ll abstain from it completely if it makes you uncomfortable. Either way, in private, he’s affectionate toward you, showering you in hugs, kisses, or whatever your preferred form of physical touch may be.

• Let it be known that he isn’t above teasing you from time to time either. If he hears your heartbeat quicken, he’ll poke fun at you for it, happy to see that he has just as much of an effect on you as you have on him. He finds any and all of your reactions endearing, but will never tease you in public. After all, he’d hate to make you even a little uncomfortable.

• He loves showing you just how loved you are, and when he hears your heart skip a beat, he knows that his message is getting across — you know that you’re adored, supported, and cared for. That’s what truly matters to him above all else.

• If it takes him holding you close and squeezing you a little tighter for you to feel confident in his feelings for you, then it’s easily worth the effort.

• Having hearing like Ukyo’s is both a blessing and a curse. While it can give him a one-up on enemies and proves useful for the Kingdom of Science, it isn’t exactly something he can just turn off. Even when he doesn’t want to be, he’s constantly drowning in sound — overlapping conversations, animals from afar, and the sound of hard labor mix into a cacophony that often makes him overwhelmed.

• Typically, he’s good at concealing how much it bothers him to be able to hear so much. Things that may sound quiet to others might echo loudly in his ears, but he’ll never say a word so as to not inconvenience others.

• Having you there to recognize when he gets overwhelmed, and having you there to spend time with him when he needs a moment away from it all is so important to him. Before meeting you, Ukyo has never realized how nice it is to have someone who understands that he’s prone to getting overwhelmed.

• You always seem to notice when he’s getting fatigued or when his head starts to hurt from listening to countless things all day. It never matters when it happens, you always make time for him to pull him away from the chaos of it. You’ll take Ukyo somewhere private and quieter, gently showering him in quiet affection while he rests in your arms.

• Ukyo appreciates that you don’t mind spending time with him in silence. Of course, he loves having fun with you on normal dates, but it’s these silent moments spent in each other’s embrace that mean the most to him.

• It reminds him that you’ll never make him uncomfortable or push him when he’s at his limit. You’re happy just being with him — you don’t always need fancy dates or to even fill the silence with chatter. It makes him feel loved knowing that you’re content to keep him in your arms.

• You’ll sometimes cover his ears for him if even the distant sounds seem to be bothering him. Then, you’ll spend as much time with him as he needs. Ukyo always feels bad for wasting your time in such a way, but he’s quickly reminded of how much you care when you reassure him.

• Time spent with him is never time wasted in your eyes. You’re happy to do so to make him more comfortable and to make sure he’s taken care of when he gets a little too overwhelmed.

• The last thing you’d want is for him to struggle on his own — you love him, and you want him to be able to spend time with someone who cares to prove to him that he doesn’t have to stay quiet when he’s in pain.

• It works — because Ukyo knows that come hell and high water, you’ll always have time to spend with him should he need it, and he loves you dearly for it.

What they do for White Day (pt.2)

🤍 ADONIS OTOGARI

Adonis knew what to gift you for White Day the day you gifted him your homemade Valentine's Day chocolates. He knew you very well as the two of you had been together for a while, so he had an easy time arranging the things he wanted to do with you on that special day.

He had cooked you up a meal in his dorm room in which you found the food to be very tasty. The two of you gleefully ate together like a married couple, laughing and telling each other stories. Adonis would try to feed you himself and you'd let him.

But that wasn't the gift he wanted to give you. He handed you a small box which contained a stunning set of white earrings. He had asked his sisters what would look best on you, and they really did come in clutch!

It was a simple celebration, but he took into consideration that sometimes all you wanted to do was relax and stay inside.

"(Y/N), Happy White Day. My love grows for you every day."

🤍 KEITO HASUMI

Your relationship with Keito was a simple one, but the two of you were perfectly happy together. He was attentive and cared for your well-being, but he wasn't as romantic as the boys in the manga you read together.

But you didn't mind. His other characteristics make up for that. He was smart so he helped you with writing reports; he was disciplined so he helped you with your time management. Little things like that were lovable.

The time you gifted him Valentine's Day chocolates, the two of you had mirrored each other's shocked expressions. Keito was surprisingly bashful, but he thanked you profusely, accepting the chocolates with shaky hands.

"T-Thank you, (Y/N). I appreciate it."

He wanted to return the gesture. After all, he did love you even though he didn't show it in the ways you'd expect. On White Day, he gifted you a piece of white jewellery and a short manga he drew and wrote of the two of you. The manga consisted of a short story of how he fell in love with you and in which you could see the way he drew you so carefully and precisely.

"Happy White Day, (Y/N)," he stated shyly. "I'm all yours today, so what else would you like to do?"

🤍 NAGISA RAN

When you presented Nagisa with a box of your homemade chocolates on Valentine's Day, he was delighted, but he didn't think anything of it.

"Thank you very much, (Y/N). I love chocolate."

Therefore, you had to explain the reasoning behind why you gave him those chocolates in the first place.

It was barely noticeable, but a pink hue appeared across his cheeks when you told him you loved him. Smiling softly at you as he acknowledged your feelings, he admitted that he felt the same way about you too.

He remembered what Ibara said about White Day which was a month after Valentine's Day, so he started preparing something special for you in the weeks between that. He wanted to reciprocate your efforts, so he ended up booking a fancy restaurant for the two of you to enjoy, and then gifted you a white charm bracelet that he helped you put on.

"Happy White Day, (Y/N). I love you. I truly feel at ease whenever I'm with you."

🤍 NIKI SHIINA

Oblivious as he is, Niki thought the chocolates you gave him were a gift for working hard, but when he asked the other members of Crazy:B where their chocolates were, they looked at him in disbelief.

"Niki-han, you know (Y/N) gave those chocolates to you for Valentine's Day, right?" Kohaku had to clarify.

"S-Seriously?!"

Frankly, he didn't expect you to gift him anything for Valentine's Day, but then he realised that you liked him in that way which made things worse because he had just thanked you for the chocolates and walked away.

He decided to apologise the next day, but you brushed him off, telling him it was okay. He tried to accept your feelings as he felt the same way, but he never really had the chance to. With both of your busy schedules, he never got to fix things until White Day.

He had to beg you to meet him that day. Already prepared, Niki had made you lunch AND dessert, so when he finally got to meet you, he professed his love.

"I'm sorry, (Y/N)! I really really like you too!" he confessed. "I cooked all this for you, please accept them! Happy White Day!"

And of course, you were going to accept his gifts and feelings!

🤍 MIKA KAGEHIRA

Mika was extremely surprised to see you in front of him with a box of chocolates in your hands. He even tried dismissing you away because he truly believed you got the wrong person. When you stated that you were giving the chocolates to him, that they were addressed to him, he blushed a deep shade of red. He would've never thought you would ever like him back!

He accepted your chocolates and your feelings, and the two of you grew closer than before, establishing your relationship. There were sounds of laughter coming from nearby. You were currently near the lab where Senku and Gen are, taking turns giving each of the village children a throw in the air before putting them down and picking up the next. Gen was watching you from afar while he stood near Senku, who was currently doing a small experiment.

"If you're gonna make goo-goo eyes at her, get out." Gen whipped his head around to glare at Senku before going over and pulling his face.

"I'm not making goo-goo eyes." Gen let go, and Senku groaned while rubbing his face, calling the split-haired male a 'Simp.' Gen sat down while sighing, returning to watching play with the children. It made his heart race, watching your strength, how easily you control it, and how graceful you are.

"Gennn, " he returns to reality, and you are right next to his face. He squeaks out a greeting, and you give him a soft laugh before kissing him. You run your fingers through his hair while he messes with your other hand.

"Wanna go get lunch with me?" You suggest.

"Yes, please get lunch and get out of my lab." Senku interrupts. You choke out a laugh while Gen sighs. Gripping your hand, you both head off to find Francois to get a meal from the butler. You both arrive at the restaurant they had set up for everyone and find a few other members of the village currently engaging in a spat of some sort. Nikki and Kohaku seemed to argue with Magma about how a woman should be.

"Ha! Who would want an overtly powerful woman." He asks the girls with a nasty grin, you hand Gen his meal first before trying to butt in on their argument, but your magical lover beats you to it.

"I would." He states. All four of you turn to look at him while he eats his meal, paying you all no mind. You shrug your shoulders at the two girls before Magma stops and puts his finger in Gen's face, deciding to argue with him further.

"That's only because you are too weak to protect yourself. That's the only reason you're dating her." He accuses you while pointing in your direction; your face drops at his comment about you and Gen's relationship. Gen's lips set into a thin line; he glances over at you before smirking in your direction; Nikki sucks air through her teeth, realizing what's going to happen. She motions for Kohaku to take a step back with her and follows along with the fellow blonde. Gen then takes a few steps back and bows with his hands as you put your meal down. You march right behind the meathead and wrap your arms around his waist; you squeeze tightly before moving to bend back; you slam his head first to the ground, effectively suplexing the man, knocking him out clean. The ladies give you a few cheers, and you give them a little arm flex before moving and handing your bowl to Gen, then grabbing him and putting him on your shoulder, walking to a more secluded area for the two of you to eat in peace with no judgments from others. You set him down at a lovely shaded tree and sit beside him, thanking him for holding your food. The two of you eat in peace before Gen starts conversing with you.

"You know I'm not only dating you for your strength, right?" He asks quietly while glancing over at you. You look at him, not saying anything; he furrows his brow before trying to continue.

"And that I-" You flick him in the forehead, and he whines out an 'ow,' you grab him and crush him into a hug.

"I don't care what others think; I just know I'm happy we're together." He sighs into your shoulder and squeezes you in return, happy along with you.

You were de-petrified, thanks to the Minami - she remember you made the headlines for a perfect score on a mock test to a renowned university.

Senku needed some help with the math and to guide everyone to build stuff, so, it was reassuring for him to have you around.

And thus, you came around to the science team!

Senku tested your knowledge right away. Of course, you knew what he was talking about when he mentioned the theory behind the GPS but...

Would it really work? Calculating and building are two very different things.

You knew it wasn't going to be a modern GPS but still....

You were a little scared of your teammates reaction - you knew all the theory, physics, chemistry, all of it, but you never actually built something.

To your surprise, no one really cared about your lack of experience. Senku said " And? that's why we have the building team and the gorilla team. If it goes wrong, we just have to adjust."

This kind of reassured you. Knowing that Kaseki was a very good craftsman with a decent knowledge of " this will not work" in the practical side of the story, it put your anxious heart at ease.

Senku also mentions that he, himself, did a lot of trials and error. So no need to worry about it!

As time went on you gained confidence on your theoretical knowledge and helped Senku in tons of projects.

You helped him calculate, consider variants, external implications and test out theories.

He also taught you a lot, about what works according to theory and what doesn't - which pretty much nothing works according to theory, that, you came to learn.

He absolutely loved having you around, you made his life so much easier.

He also enjoyed talking to you about the modern world. You knew about things that were impossible to build right now in the stone world and actually understood their purpose.

He loved it. He could lament about these equipments with you.

The thing he loved the most, was that you always had something to consider when you guys built something new. A possibility he overlooked, a procedure he forgot about, a math mistake. Anything!

Senku also enjoyed to see you grow. Getting out of your shell and doing experiments, here and there.

Kaseki also taught a few things about craftsmanship. Year of experience are golden knowledge!

He trusted you, so when it was needed to divide the science team or needed someone with modern knowledge, you bet he placed you there.

He often said it makes things easier and quicker.

And when you met again, he expected some kind of report from you? Did things go well? He also gave you insights on his end.

Gen lowkey preferred to be tagged with you because you were kinder with the manual labor. Sometimes they had to redo things because of your lack of experience, but, He rather you anyway.

Kohaku didn't mind at all if you made mistakes while experimenting. She actually encouraged you tons!

Chrome was always learning with you, since you had to do all those experiment from scratch he took a sit next to you to learn.

Senku kinda supervised your work.

All in all, being friends with Senku while having great knowledge in science is fun.

You guys chat a lot about the modern world technology and what you wish you had.

You also had long and confusing discussion ( in the eyes of some) about theories.

Sometimes you went on a tangent, making the project a bit late, going deep into the night.

That's when Gen shined, telling you both to go to sleep.
