she was always cheerful, and her happiness always rubbed off on you. seeing her smile always made you smile. you were sure that she was the only one in the museum who loved her job just as much as kei did.

you thanked her and walked toward kei’s office, a space you have grown quite used to. it was a small room with a cute little desk. there were a few pictures of dinosaurs on the walls as well as footprints matching the dinosaurs. on his desk there were a few small framed photos. one of the karasuno high school team, one of him standing with kogane and kyotani, and one of you and him.

you sat in his chair, admiring the picture of the two of you. sugawara had taken it at the team reunion that tsukishima invited you to. you sat in his lap, arm around his shoulders and clearly laughing at something someone had said. you assumed it was nishinoya because he always made you laugh.

tsukishima walked into his office, jumping nearly three feet in the air when he saw you.

“jesus christ, y/n!” he gasped, a hand over his heart. “you almost gave me a fucking heart attack!”

you just giggled, twirling in the swivel chair that you were sitting in.

“i told you i was coming!” you said. “but you were out being a good employee and giving a tour.”

Natsuyasumi - kogane no kabutomushi o sagashite aka Summer Vacation - Search for the Golden Beetle (Classic Mac, 1991)

You can download it at Natsuyasumi.sit here; you can find the game's Japanese manual (and an alternate download for the game if the Internet Archive is still down) here. Important instructions below. I believe in you!

Instructions:

Drag the .sit file onto the emulated Japanese Mac desktop here.

Open the Outside World, then Downloads, then open the file you find and wait for it to be decompressed; then close Downloads and open it again.

Open the folder you'll find. Drag the six files in there onto Macintosh HD (they'll be copied). Open Macintosh HD if you haven't already; scroll and/or resize it if necessary.

Open Infinite HD, then Utilities, then Disc Copy (set language to English the first time to make things easier), then drag each of the six files from Macintosh HD onto it (since just double-clicking them won't work). A disk will appear on the desktop for each one.

Make a new folder in Macintosh HD (using the first item under the first non-Apple-logo menu) and name it anything or just leave the name there.

Open each of the six disks that appeared on the desktop; each will contain a single file. Drag each resulting file into the new folder you made (again, they'll be copied), then open the folder (scrolling/resizing as necessary) and run 'Natu key'. Click the white words to begin; you can click the NORMAL turtle first to switch to EASY mode.

If you can't read Japanese, use Google Lens, or on a PC browser, use Google Images via the 'Search by image' icon, and paste a screenshot (though you'll probably need to crop it down to just the text in Paint or similar first), then click Translate.

It was a prank. Tsukishima would have noticed straight away that there was lipstick if it wasn't. You were quite excited that this prank might just work.

Right before he went to practice, you kiss him on his cheek with a grin on your face. He asks you why you were smiling, but you shrug it off. Unlike any other day, he doesn't really take it into mind and goes to practice.

Literally the second he enters the gymnasium, Kyotani looks him up and down and say "had fun?"

Kei is confused. He honestly doesn't understand why Kyotani asked him that. He raised an eyebrow and answered his question with another question, "what do you mean?"

Kogane, who was listening to the whole conversation, bursts out laughing.

"Didn't you look in the mirror?" He can hardly get the words out, too busy laughing to see that his usual unaffectionate teammate doesn't notice that he has red lipstick on his cheek.

When he pulls out his phone from his pocket and looks at himself in the camera, the man is beyond annoyed AND embarrassed. Two emotions that Tsukishima didn't want to feel right now. He's gonna have a talk with you after practice.

𝐓𝐎𝐁𝐈𝐎 𝐊𝐀𝐆𝐄𝐘𝐀𝐌𝐀

In his case, neither Tobio or you noticed. It was really just an accidental thing. He was already in a rush, so he didn't care to look at himself once.

When he goes to practice, most of his teammates kinda just stare at him for a few seconds until all of them make a plan to not question Kags on why his neck is pinkish and just see how long it will be until he realizes.

Ushijima really wasn't up for it, but the others convinced him (random, but he's ushi so why not)

It wasn't that long until Tobio started to feel eyes on him, though. Whenever he felt someone staring, he'd mouth the word 'what?' But his teammates always shook their head to show that it was nothing big.

At last, he came up to Hoshiumi and sternly asked him, "What's wrong? Is there anything on my face?"

Hoshiumi looked around the gym a bit and then finally let out a chuckle. "Go look at yourself, dude."

Kags made a weird face a him as if he were trying to say 'why tf would i do that' but, when he actually goes to the bathroom and looks into the mirror, he finally gets it. There's pinkish-red stuff all over his neck.

Lucky you, he sent you a pic before wiping it all off <3

This happened at a family reunion, so expect to feel second hand embarrasment

just moments before shoyo's mum opened the door, you gave him a kiss, knowing that you had lipstick on. You wanted to tell him and rub it off, but there was no time.

Shoyo's mum was already smiling when she welcomed you two in, but her smile grew when she saw Shoyo's cherry lips. She was hoping to see how long it would go until her son notices, but her daughter ruined it all.

Natsu ran up to her brother and hugged him tightly after months of not seeing him, but when she looked up, she started giggling. She didn't even ask him what it was. "Ewwww nii-chan, you were kissing (y/n) ?"

He was kinda put on the spot with that because didn't realize that he kissed you while you had lipstick on. So, he didn't really know what to do except turn his head to you and depend on you to answer.
