Hello new follower here hope you’re having a great day/evening/night💜 could I request any inuyasha characters reaction to accidentally touching their s/o’s cold feet/hands while they’re sleeping at night ? You can ignore this if it makes you feel uncomfortable.
COLD NIGHT — inuyasha characters reaction ft. inuyasha, sesshomaru, koga [headcanon]
context: amidst the camp set up for the night, you spread your blanket on the ground while your partner opts to lie beside you. despite the warmth emanating from the large fire, your body retains a chill, though it doesn't trouble you greatly. however, someone else appears more affected, expressing their discomfort unlike you.
warnings: fluff. slight ooc? lowercase intended. gn! reader
notes: ty for the request anon! if you can't tell, i prefer sesshomaru more lol. also why doesn't Inuyasha and koga have good alias names ugh
INUYASHA ─ ❝ HALF—DOG ❞
➜ inuyasha would sit up against the rough bark of a nearby tree, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword, ready for any potential intruders. you settle down beside him, seeking warmth and solace in his presence. your hand reaches out to him, seeking comfort and reassurance that he's beside you.
➜ as your hand makes contact with his, his serene expression swiftly transforms into one of alarm, his eyes snapping open wide. he jerks his hand away from yours, swiftly moving it towards the fire to regain warmth.
➜ “the hell is wrong with your hands!? they’re colder than the damn snow right now!”
➜ you scoff at his words, turning away from him in response. inuyasha grumbled at your reaction before firmly gripping your shoulders and pulling you closer to him, snuggling you into his warm embrace.
➜ “since you wanna be stubborn and not get near the fire, i guess i’ll just stay next to you for the night.”
LORD SESSHOMARU ─ ❝ BEAST KING ❞
➜ unlike inuyasha’s outburst, sesshomaru is more the silent-but-glaring type of partner in this situation.
➜ when your hand accidentally brushes against his face while adjusting a few strands of his hair, his golden eyes widen briefly at the contact before narrowing into a silent, intense glare.
➜ you pull your hand back quickly, shooting him an apologetic smile as he continues to glare, the sensation of your cold hands disrupting his slumber. it was rare for sesshomaru to join you and the group, let alone to sleep as well, but now, you've ruined it with your never-ending coldness.
➜ you turn around on the blanket, keeping your hands to yourself as you quietly sigh, feeling regretful for ruining the moment.
➜ after a few seconds, you feel something heavy and warm drape across your freezing body. it takes a moment to realize it's sesshomaru's mokomoko, which he has placed on you, providing the extra warmth you need that the fire couldn’t.
➜ even though you knew sesshomaru wasn’t one to talk about his feelings, you appreciated how he expressed his love more through actions than words.
KOGA ─ ❝ WOLF CUB ❞
➜ as the leader of the wolf-demon tribe, koga had numerous responsibilities to ensure the survival of his pack, with one of his main priorities being the protection of you, a human. despite being vastly different from your wolf-demon boyfriend, koga fell in love with you at first sight and would do anything to ensure your safety.
➜ as night fell, you settled around the campfire with the tribe, aiming to get some rest. however, the cool breeze that kept blowing made it difficult, causing your hands to grow numb from the biting cold.
➜ you shivered from the intense cold, despite being wrapped in a blanket. koga could feel your shaking body against his own, which startled him awake. quickly, he turned to face you with a scowl as he realized what was going on.
➜ “why the hell didn’t ya say anything? you’re freezing! here, take my hands.”
➜ you hesitated at first before settling your numbed hands against his warmed, rough ones. his touch sent a comforting warmth through your chilled fingers, and you graced him with a grateful smile for his kindness.
➜ koga would then move your sleeping bag closer to the fire and wrap his arms around your body, pulling you so close to his chest that you could hardly breathe, enveloping you in his warmth. he cared deeply for your comfort and always made sure you were satisfied.

𝐍𝐢𝐢-𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧'𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞
2023 | 18+ | S. SERIES | KOGA YUDAI × READER | MASTERLIST
SUMMARY: a decade without a mother to tend to your maternal needs had instilled a broken trust inside of you, but atleast you got the warmth of your wonderful father who persisted by your side. thus came the day, where a woman with eyes of the stars came around—bestowing rays on his days and you were more than delighted to accept her into your arms, but to your surprise, you were not only letting one person inside your home but two.
GENRE/WARNING yandere content, high school au, stepcest lol. (not a English native so prob plenty of grammar errors btw)
WC 7k / short series with three episodes with smut in the finale.
《 𝐄𝐩𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐝𝐞 𝟏 : 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 》
Playing house.
You've always adore playing house; as a child, you would sprint all the way back home just to play house with your little sewed toys and dolls. You couldn't care any less about peers your age or what they do, or what the recent updates going on about gaming or whatnot.
For the very reason was because of a present you solely grew to adore with all your little heart could contain; which was your little playhouse your Papa had given you as present, leaving it on the table in your room on the very night of your birthday just before the midnight strikes.
Your eyes fluttered open and that alone, the sight alone was what melted your heart. And you'd never grew bored to repeat this no matter how much days, months, and years had passed.
The pure joy of placing your dolls in their respective seats, tiny teacups and porcelain plates in the purest white laid out neatly on the round small table, as you sat on the comfiness of the cushion on your knees while you talked about your day and everything little thing that occurs with the widest grin spread on your face. A tea party, or more specifically, 'an exclusive tea party'; where only the most trusted and important members could attend and dine in, they could even stay as long as they want even when the host had excused themselves which was very explanatory who it was.
You'd served them imaginary tea, or sometimes an exquisite wine when you feel like it. And depending on the time of the day, you'd serve them a plate of sandwich or bowl of soup. Sometimes the topic of the conversation with your little dolls would go as far as saying that you'd totally love to have your own little family someday, a perfect man like your father, be the perfect mother of your babies just like your mother.
Perfect, perfect; you lose count of how many times you repeated this word but how could you when you've been blessed with such perfect parents with flaws nowhere to be seen?
You happily enunciate each word to your little dolls, deeply sure that their animated yet still face are nodding along with your words.
Just like they always do.
They were much very trusted that you could talk about your imagination and your tiny aspirations of becoming a mother, just like your mother—where she could be seen from the kitchen, preparing tasty meals that left your mouth watering and heart palpating in doses of excitement. She was your inspiration, you wanted to be like her, to have your own babies and care after them with the utmost affection you could ever give; bath them, cook meals for them, give them a glass of milk, play with them, and then tuck them to bed as you read fairytale story books to them or sang a good night lullaby, ending the routine with a tender kiss on their cheek and forehead.
You would care for them, love them, embrace them, and tell them how much you love them every single day of their life. How wonderful would it be? How perfect it would be if it could come true?
Perfection. The frame of perfection binding the forms of your parents together with the little you in the center as you hold their hands with the widest smile and pride. Like the hard cover of the fairytale book you stumble upon a bookstore, displayed on the very front of the big glass window just enough for your little orbs to see.
Lavender ink spilled through the hard letter carvings, and onto the exquisite art of their main characters, their shadows just enough to display their very personalities. That's how you imagine your little perfect family, and that's how you would like it to be in the future as well.
Innocent, untouched and untainted, sheltered with affection and love, just and justice, and a happily ever after carved on the end of the page.
Yet unfortunately, your happily ever after was nowhere to be found on the last page. Heck, you didn't even got into the last page before the one character you envisioned to be the definition of perfection was the cause of chaos and the embodiment of a rotten apple.
It slam you the page of reality, ripping through the edges like silk turning into mold; contorting your face into expressions you've never knew existed, and stirred your hearts in emotions you've knew would be so ugly and terrible—leading you to believe that a perfect family of three would never existed at all. The rosy lenses obscuring your eyes finally ripping away to see the reality in front of you, that your dream isn't always going to come true.
That a family won't be as perfect as it is like it does in fairytales.
Until one day—
"You found someone?"
"Was she nice?"
"How does she look like?"
—was the question you bombarded your dad once you found his face smeared with a suspicious grin, one that you knew ain't anything related to his playful tendencies to you.
Strolling around the kitchen counter he did, as he dodged each and one of your question with;
"I'll tell you soon."
The sun peered through the glass pane, reflecting your childish pout you threw at your dad. Sighing relentlessly as you huffed through your room, throwing yourself on the bed. Pulling your phone out of your pockets, punching the password keys as you scrolled through your socials—ultimately stumbling on a picture of a family, a perfect picture of the widest smiles adorning their lips.
A wave of sadness washes over your soul, yet you breathe a sigh out—scrolling down to get that picture of your sight.
Refreshing and refreshing in a constant loop, with a lingering hope floating in your heart.
Days had gone like usually, yet not a day had gone by without you asking your dad though. Another pout emerged from your lips as your munch on your noodles, slurping in a spoonful of soup, relishing yourself in the delight of freshly cooked ramen.
The warm broth had you wondering when was the last time someone, or more specifically, a woman had cook for you and your dad? All this time, it was your dad that tried his best to serve good food for you, opting with simple menus from online and copying them as best as he could, just so he can replicate the warm meal your mom used to make.
Little did he know, his presence itself was the warmth enveloping you.
Going about your usual days with your usual errands, you grabbed a basket of laundries—throwing them inside the washing machine, punching each buttons with your fleeting thought. You've did this a thousand times enough to know, more than your peers might say or do. A life you've been working so well with ever since your mom left you and your dad. A tragic event that perhaps had instilled your beating heart a spiraling hatred towards her.
You barely even remembered her face, nor you would call her mom. And you couldn't care any less. But you remembered one thing, and it stuck in your head like a superglue—stubbornly refusing to peel away.
Or more like a bloodsucking leech that devours your thoughts whenever it resurfaces.
She said it herself with her pair of eyes that you used to cherish ever so lovingly, looking down at you with utter contempt as if you weren't her own flesh and blood, "This family has done nothing but bring me down," and her eyes fell on your little form. "And that child, do whatever you please. Get rid of her, place her into any adoption center, or just dump her any where you'd like. Just never call me again."
You despised her, you'd wish she had stayed and persisted to be with you and your dad. But reality seem to be wholly different than what your favourite fairytale literatures showcases. Yet as ugly it had became, your love for fairytales remained---the proof of it being your shelves filled with dozens of thick books of them.
Hoping that your dreams of simple, comforting, even if not perfect---but atleast complete and not with these hollow, hollow void.
That's why you didn't mind, and was more than elated to find that your dad has found someone. Someone that would make him happy, someone that would show him that it's okay for him to enjoy his life now. He did his everyday best for you, for ten years with no complaint. And you'd wish someone would do the same thing for him. You truly wish.
The one that would truly stay unlike that woman did.
Thus came the day, your dad finally broke the news with this lovely woman who was apparently a Japanese. He met her on a rainy day, after his work, under the pavilion in the park. It was short of nothing but two adult stranger having a brief talk, but that was all it takes for your dad to know that she was the one. Atleast that's how he feels, your dad clarified.
Yet they clicked instantly, your dad grins—looking down at his sweaty palms. He baffles at how he might sound like a teenage boy in love, but that's how it spills into his heart like butterflies shooting up in confettis.
She was lovely, sweet, and caring; a poet at her young age, and a well-loved and respected school teacher in kindergarten. From then on she built herself a solid foundation throughout her life, just like everyone but just like your dad, she was a widow but in a different circumstance.
Every description of the lady had your lips tugging up in a small, satisfied smile. Hoping that this was really it. The desire grew stronger and bigger the more your dad talks about her with his lips almost reaching his ears.
"And ah, by the way she had a son. One that is so like her, kind and gentle. He's a few years older than you."
The growing inches of the your lip's corner was interrupted with the mention of an older step-brother. Eyes widening in few centimetres, trying to take in the new information you barely expected.
"A son?" You repeated, and your dad nodded twice in response. That's what all it takes for you to utter a 'what the fuck' in the back of your mind.
You've lived your entire life as an only child, opting to play with a few neighbour kids down the street once in awhile yet it never came to you to desire for a sibling, you were far more contented in your own. But to have an older step brother at this age? You didn't know what to expect of it.
It had you thinking that you have to try and have a good relationship with him if this truly did work. What are you even supposed to do with him? Act like friends or straight up treat him like a brother? A boy you barely knew? A few years older even?
"How.." you tilted your head in mild hesitation, "Exactly old is he?"
"Twenty."
Great, a wonderful twenty year old step elder brother, truly wonderful!
You sighed exasperatedly, mind running in circles and wondering why are you even troubling yourself so much with it when it wasn't crystal clear yet that this blossoming relationship would even continue to bloom till winter.
A ting of curiousity surfaces over your mind, "What's his name then?"
"Kei, but that's his nickname. I'll leave it to you to ask him yourself when the day comes." Your dad gave you a playful wink at the end, obviously he's truly indeed waiting for that day where he could introduce you to the sweet lady that caught his heart, and of course for you to meet your supposedly new step brother.
So much for a guessing game.
"Don't stress yourself about it, he's a good boy."
"Hmm.." you hummed in return as you lie on the couch with your arms on your head, pondering of what to do. But judging by how your dad also swoons over the boy, then he doesn't seem to be that bad, isn't he?
Then what could go wrong?
"Whatever it is, i'm happy for you, dad. That's all."
The widest grin adorned your dad's lips, and this was a memory you will strive to keep in forever in your heart.
Quite a few months had passed since then, and you'd hear nothing from your dad but news about how the relationship grew more serious and inevitably sweeter; your dad would meet up with Ms. Koga—which he revealed as her surname a few days ago—twice or thrice a week due to their respective careers with tight schedule but that never deter them from having dates eventually.
He'd talk about how their little dates went on, or what kind of conversations they had and how she was the one and that they'd clicked instantly in almost anything and he said all that as he did a little dance across the kitchen with you as his audience, chin on your palms as you let out an amused chuckle.
Those little stories coming out from your dad had your belief in true love surfacing back again, just like those romances in fairytale books; first meeting and a doses of love floating in the air, which will soon follow with the promise of loyalty and true love, and at last—a ring that glistens under the spherical summer sun; one that represents eternal vows as it slips on the groom and bride's ring finger.
And so it finally did, the proof of it appearing on one fateful day with your dad sitting on the couch. A pretty red little box on his palms, opening the cover once in awhile to showcase the shiny diamond ring fitted nicely in the center. He gave you a brief peck on your forehead, asking you to wish him good luck before he went out for a dinner date with Ms. Koga. Coming back later he did as he entered the door with the widest grin stuck on his cheeks, to be greeted with that same wide grin every day would be your one and only wish.
Bliss.
Your dad's eyes was brimming with bliss, constantly spinning in circles and asking you which tie would fit his dark blue suit the best. And you couldn't help but shake your head at him, helping with the barrage of folded ties inside his closet.
"This one." helping your dad with the troublesome tie, you imagined how this would be the last time you'd help him, and how sooner and later---someone would come and will no longer let him stay alone like he did for the past few years. You finished with straightening the tie down, telling your dad to fix his hair up a bit with your lips curving up in a soft smile before you went to the mirror, checking your last fit one more time; a plain white dress but with a small bow your back, adding a delicate touch.
At least you wanted to look presentable to the lady who's about to be your dad's wife, and of course, your future stepmother. First impression always sticks.
The place where you're going to meet by the way was in the famous coffee shop in the city, a place being the favourite of Ms. Koga and her son—your dad clarified.
However the moment you heard the word 'coffee' though—was enough to send blaring alarms in your head, as it meant apparent death, unfortunately.
The aroma of freshly brewed coffee beans wafted from the kitchen, spilling in an almost visible and hazy smoky trails that enveloped the entire inner cafe—might be soothing to some, but for you—as soon asit hits your nostrils, it had your nose immediately scrunching in return, almost gagging.
Coffee was nowhere your favourite, and you'd prefer not to stumble on any coffee shop as it only had your soul draining in utter nausea. Might even kill you that is, if you could've leave then you would've, but a little sacrifice here and then for your dad ain't that hard to do, right?
You took your seat beside the glass window, earning a pretty view of the street outside where a bunch of other stores and shops are lined in a row, crowds passing through like hordes of ants to their respective destinations, and the luminous blue sky bestowing it's rays on the greenery plants adorning the entrance of the coffee shop.
For awhile, you thought it would probably take long before they would come as you turn on your phone to check the time, but you were proven wrong.
At last, you met her; the very lady your dad compliments to the moon and back, with her eyes sparkling like stars, he often mentioned to be her most prominent feature.
"You're (Name)?"
"Hi, Ms. Koga." You bowed down slightly when your dad mentions her arrival, too disturbed by the spiraling smell of coffee in the cafe that you failed to notice her beside you at first.
"You're so lovely, beautiful even." She takes in your hands in hers, brushing her fingers tenderly on yours. "I'm jealous that you had such a gorgeous daughter."
The sweetened lullaby emitting from the lady had you curling inside in shyness. Yet it didn't deter you from observing the way her hair were let down in wavy curls, framing her face in such a loveable portrait which exudes in dripping motherly vibes. Her aura had you instinctively leaning in to give her a hug, a tighter embrace than you'd imagine. The lady was obviously surprised by your approach, yet as quick as she got surprised, it was also the same for it to dissipate like a breeze passing over your frame. Her motherly hands brushed across your shoulders and down your hips, her fingers returning the same warmth.
Your chin buried on her shoulder, leading you to sniffed in her comforting scent—which had you wondering just what type of perfume she was using as every other person you stumble on had a bold and thick scent it had you in nausea just like coffees do.
You pulled away, quite regretfully with a lingering desire to embrace her more.
"Your daughter is very sweet, I have to say."
Your dad agreed, patting you on the back. "Glad to see you two going along well."
The lady nodded in returned, a tender smile adorning her lovely features, one thing you particularly notice about her was the prominent feature of her pair of boba orbs. The sun rays reflected off her eyes like marbles, even. With her fluttering eyelashes adding to the animated portrait as she converse with your dad. She truly was gorgeous, in fact. You couldn't help but agree how your dad could fall for her, and just like that you can't help but imagine the events your dad had told you about their first meeting like a romantic retro footage in your head.
"So where is Kei?" Your dad asked.
"Oh, I'm sorry, he's running late. He had club activities to attend to, so.." She glanced down at the watch on her left wrist, "It might be around—oh, there he is."
So the son of the devil has arrived, isn't he?
You cleared your throat, preparing to introduce yourself to the boy who might be very well your elder brother from now on, might as well make the first impression as perfect as it can be so it won't be as that difficult to meet him every now and then on once you two started to live together. Heck, you'd certainly die if it were to become very awkward. But you weren't just sure how to address him depending on how this first meeting played out, calling a boy a few years older than you and one you barely knew "older brother" had your body engulfed in utter cringe. You'd go as far as to suggest to just call him by his name, if he agrees that is. But why were you so invested and concerned about this? You haven't even talked to him yet, seriously.
"Kei, come here."
And so that was the first time you lay your eyes upon on the boy, one that you were curious of along with his mom. Your jaw parted slightly in surprise as you took in his towering height—it's almost intimidating but his innocent features spreading all over his face like a fresh breeze in the summer rain were a stark contrast from his height, and his sense of fashion utterly being different from what you've initially imagine or him.
You've imagine him to be an embodiment of a delinquent or a bad boy, that is, despite your dad's description of him being kind and gentle. Not this neatly ironed white buttoned up shirt with a black tie adorning the collar and black pants. The black frames of his glasses perfectly fitted on top of his nose, and his hair neatly combed down his forehead making him perfectly presentable to any formal meeting, or just simply introducing him as a perfect candidate for marriage.
Like a doll that was very well taken care of, and treated with the utmost care and attention.
Huh, what was that last words for even?
Your eyes met his behind those glasses, and the first thought you had was—he surely is the son of his mother. They had the same pair of eyes resembling the breath of animated verdure, his nose—not really, but his full lips certainly resemble hers. They had the same hair colour, although his was more in a darker shade. You held your breath as you saw tiny stars shimmering on his boba like eyes, was that even an imagination? Or perhaps a trickery orchestrated by the sun rays drenching on the brown tiled floor and the sudden appearance of light rain pit pattering on the concrete road outside?
"Hi, I'm Kei. Pleasure to meet you, little sis." His faint pink lips pulled up in a small polite smile, as if he was so delighted to see you. His introduction was nothing but simple yet it was his addressment towards you that had you visibly taken aback, the heck him with adjusting so quick? Surely, his voice was dripping in honey tones and almost as melodic as the bird's chirps but it was almost as if he enunciate those words in mischievous tone. Were you just simply imagining it because of your over-the-top concerns?
"Uh, hi." You forced an awkward smile as you raised your palms waving a brief hi, which you hope weren't that too visible.
He greeted your dad shortly after, bowing down 360⁰ degress like the ideal model student which the vibe he obviously emitted since he stepped inside the cafe.
The chair emitted a slight creak across the tiled floor when he pulled it and seated himself in front of you, his bangs swaying back and forth like silk—you almost wanted to touch it. A hiccup escaped your throat, pulling you back to a logical state as to what the heck is wrong with you today? These mother and son, it was almost like they had casted an invisible magic spell on you and your dad. Or was it simply because you've never stop indulging yourself in thousand fairytale literatures to compensate for your so-called mother issues?
Four cup of coffee were later served and placed neatly on the table, their colours completely contrasted each other; yours and your dad were pure white, and Ms. Koga along with her son; being pitch black. The only main resemblance they had was the golden rim, adding an exquisite look on them.
Yet as pretty as it look, it didn't do nothing but to have your insides churning in disgust and nausea at the wafting smell of the coffee in front of you.
Your dad and Ms. Koga went on with the conversation, talking about you and Kei's childhood and per se. Some of it leaving you with your jaw dropping immensely as your dad exposed an embarrassing childhood photo of you, pulling it out from his wallet. Of course that didn't leave you being the only audience being heavily embarrassed here as the latter had been pulled into it as well.
Yet he remain unfazed much to your surprise, only pulling up a gentle chuckle as he nodded along. Like really? Does these childhood photos of him doesn't stir a bit of shame in his old folly days as a mini human trying to figure out life for the first time?
The way he acted is a tad bit similar to those princely characters in the books you read, as if he was fabricating a whole new character that are based on perfection. It gave you the ick, unable to ignore these growing weird sensation crawling on your skin but what if you were just too deep into your childhood traumas again?
Shortly after, your dad and Ms. Koga excused themself for a moment, saying that they're going for a short walk down the street which left you screaming inside cause you for sure don't want to be left alone behind with this boy. Well yeah of course, not really alone in almost packed cafe but still. You silently protested by raising your hand, hinting that you want to follow along but all of it was shut down in a matter of second when your dad added that you should try to get along with Kei.
And it didn't help that Ms. Koga told her son, with her lips curved up delicately, even. "Treat her well, and try not hit her up so much with nerdy stuffs."
A pout forms on Kei's lips, his glasses lifting up slightly. "I'll try, but can you really blame me?" He turned his eyes from his mom to you for a second, and then back at your dad and his mom again. "Have fun, mom. I'm sure we'll get along very well."
Your eyebrows knitted slightly in a frown, shrugging at the way he was so confident in his words. But oh well, maybe the feelings are mutual and he is just saying that to keep them in a good state of mind.
With the summer rain still pit pattering outside, your dad pulled out an umbrella in the round container, pushing it open and hanging it above their heads. You almost sighed with the sight of your dad and Ms. Koga exiting the cafe, their perfect picture as a couple walking past the huge glass window, not missing the tiny gestures of your dad interlacing his fingers with hers and the rosy hues dusting off Ms. Koga's cheeks despite her hair almost covering it.
The sight alone melted your heart and washes away the ten year submerged in nightmares into the ocean, making it still and serene. Like spring, frame of cherry pink petals blossoms and floats down their figure, and your heart prayed nothing but for their happy end to be not only at the last page but at every single page from now on.
A warning, a sense of dread engulfed every thumping vein beneath the depths of your skin, fingernails crawling across your bare skin even though you were fully clothed. As if..
Someone, someone, was undressing you with their pair of eyes.
You gaze at the window for a moment longer before turning away only to realize the boy; still seated, with his eyes fixated on you for god knows how long it had been. This uncomfortable sensation of his eyes on you had you burying yourself deeper into the seat despite it being totally impossible.
The dozens pair of feet scattering beneath your peripheral vision seems to slow down, beyond what a human could take. As if a footage playing in a slow motion, the audible sound of the pointed arrows on the clock as it moves down resonated through the entire space, and the space seems to grow larger but then it returns to its focal point; suffocating your figure in claustrophobic state, numerous pale arms with visible crimson veins emerged from the floor—clutching your legs in carnal desires to pull you down into the spiraling hole that resembles one of the prominent stories you've once read as a child.
Your neck remain stiff as you raised your head to met those pair of marbles looking down at you up and down. He had the smile of an angel, but the overwhelming dread consuming your body with his presence says otherwise.
"I don't look like I eat people, do I?" The pearly white of his teeth emerges as his lips slightly parted with a mild amusement.
As if a magic casted on you has been broken, his voice pulled you out from the frozen and hypnotic trance you've been falling in.
"Don't be scared, I don't think I'm even capable of that."
"I am not scared." You replied, trying your best to smile a bit.
"Sure," Kei tilted his head, eyes fixated on the rim of your cup when he notice how you deliberately avoided to look into his eyes, anywhere but him. A brief silence follows after that, a very awkward one apparently. But it didn't deter him from keeping the conversation going even for a bit, "I have to compliment you for going this far though, you're such a good daughter to your dad. Kind of rare to see that nowadays."
You raised your eyebrow in confusion, finally looking at him but rather with a wary expression etched all over your face and eyes. "What makes you think of that?"
"Your cup," He gestured at your white cup with his eyes, "You haven't taken a sip yet."
You look down at your cup of coffee, the content completely filled up to the rim, not once touched at the slightest. "Well that doesn't mean anything."
"Sure." He stirs the coffee in his black cup with a tiny spoon, slowly but with tender care. "But it sure takes an effort to only breathe through your mouth, I must say. If you'd like, we can go outside to take fresh air."
Taken aback by his observant eyes, you simply answered. "It doesn't matter, it's fine.."
"Then if you'd like, we could order something else."
"It's a coffee shop."
"Coffee isn't what it only offers."
A heavy silence forms between you two, thickening into an imaginary border which had you squirming uncomfortably on your seat, desiring to get this to end once and for all.
Getting caught once but not thrice, it sure does bring a hell lot of awkwardness for first time impressions. But are you even to be blame about not having any knowledge of it when you don't even have the slightest experience in being one for the last ten years in your life? Even so more so, you realize you didn't contribute anything to the conversation at all due to your huge distrust at strangers, especially the gut instinct crawling on your skin with this boy's presence being the main reason of it most of all.
Maybe this won't go well after all. Apparently it should have been, if not because of his initial addressment towards you. It doesn't sound right at all. Or maybe you were simply just not used to it?
"If coffee aren't anywhere in your list of favourites," Kei suddenly spoke much to your surprise once again, although rather slowly as if he was heavily choosing the right words to say but curiosity follows along despite it, and you waited in patience with a ting of uneasy, that is. "What do you love then?"
A harmless question.
"Books." You simply answered, yet added with an afterthought that you might be being too cold and wary around him. "Fairytales, and if it seems too childish for you, oh well—I couldn't care any less."
Or maybe not.
"Who says it's childish? That's like me saying that I love math, most people don't like it—much less find it entertaining enough to last with three minute video of it, but does it make any less worthless, or childish as you say or those people who said it?"
A mild pause in silence.
"It's short of nothing but a petty remarks made by less smart people, you see." A genuine smile you feel, made its way on his lips for the first time. "Take joy in what you love with less care of others."
Surprised by his unexpected words, "Well, I guess." Your shoulders drooped down after an extended time of being wary, your back leaning comfortably against the chair as you took a nice breathe in after awhile. "What do you do then? Math, you said."
"I majored for computer science, specifically programming. All those coding and stuffs."
"Looks like it." You replied nonchalantly, yet added with another afterthought. "That sounds cool, you really seem like it."
"You think so?" Kei slightly chuckled as he lapped his tongue at his lower lip, spinning his thumb around the golden rim of his cup. "I'm flattered, then. It took me quite awhile."
Your heart made a slight jump at the sight, which doesn't make sense. Surprised at your not-so-good reactions, you cleared your throat and tried to put in more effort into the conversation that it's now starting to ease up a bit.
"You'd make hell a good of mon—" You bit your tongue, maybe that's not quite a nice way to put it, you silently cursed at yourself. "How do you, I mean, what got you into numbers? Like, those complex stuff."
"Simply because they're complex."
"Seriously?"
"Yeah, I like it when things get complex." Kei looks into your eyes, stars shimmering on his chocolate brown eyes like it did awhile ago again, but this time the sun rays illuminated the edges of his hair—down to the edge of his cheeks perfectly; like an illustrated portrait breathing the soul of verdure into it. "It makes it fun and worth the prize. Easy is not my thing."
Fascinated by the trickeries of the damn sun rays again, you cleared your throat as you nodded—altering your position in the process.
"Isn't it that way in fairytales? Happy ending; efforts are needed before you can get to the last page with it's fruits laid out rightfully for you?"
"They are, happy endings are everyone's favourite anyways. Who wanted the latter? But I'm more a middle type of person." You corrected him, which made him raised his eyebrow in curiosity. "The journey."
"You mean?"
"Those little stuffs that happened in the characters' daily abouts of life. Like playing house, each person in the family plays their respective roles." With the topic of your interest, it naturally gravitates your attention to the window—catching the animated scene of tiny beads of droplets racing down the glass window, you added. "The little things, that's what make it worth it."
Kei lets out a breathless chuckle before raising his cup, looking at you through the lens of his glasses; taking a few seconds to observed the motion of your pupils following the trails of the droplets before a tiny smirk tugged at the corners of his lips, taking a sip in. "We're quite the same then, but in different ways."
"What makes you think of that? Doesn't sound like it though." Your focused attention breaks apart upon hearing those words, snorting disbelief as you turned your attention back to him.
"You mentioned no one wanted the latter, the bad ending." Placing the cup back on it's saucer, his fingers returned to brushed across the black frame of his glasses, pulling it off, folding it neatly as he placed it on the side of his table. "I like it though, I prefer when it tells the dark side of reality."
Your eyes lit up with his words, it piques your interest quite a bit for you to asked. "Oh really? Why?"
With his eyes no longer obscured by the lenses, you were able to get a much clearer view of his eyes. They are perfectly round, yet quite big in size which make them very much adorable. You swore you've never seen those eyes like his.
"They're way more fascinating, everyone desires for a perfect happy ending where everyone forgives each other, or perhaps for lovers to reunite together again, or perhaps.. because no one is truly ready to hear for the unnerving and sinful desires or actions of humans, or how far would they take something if it didn't go their own way."
"That's interesting." You breathe out a chuckle, realizing that you haven't taken a blink, you tried to blink a few times to get rid of the dryness consuming your eyes. His words truly pulled you into a deeper understanding of the topic, although like he mentioned, it's certainly unnerving. "Good for you I guess, but that doesn't make us anywhere the same, at all.
"Maybe," He tilted his head down on his right side playfully, the loose strands on his forehead following along like silk. He pushed his cup against your one; the pitch black and pure white contrasted one another, yet the golden rim perfectly blended as if it belong together. "—Or maybe you were reading the wrong book of fairytales all along this entire time."
"Please, of course I'm well aware of the real dark fairytales, those gory type of stories with endings like that. Sure, but not my kind of taste." You shrugged, remembering a recollection of your memories of those days when you tried to read those so called real and dark fairy tales you stumbled deep into the library. "They are not the very least comforting at all. Reality's already so dark like you said, so why intentionally put yourself into it more?""
"Of course, no?" Kei gave you a reassuring smile, "Why would it be anything wrong to only want for good stuffs?"
The soft rain had finally subsided, letting his voice turned clearer alike the grey lump of clouds breaking apart for the luminous sky to make its appearance.
"Just saying," Kei stares into your soul with a glimmer on his eyes yet obscured with faint obsidian hues. Like stirring an ink block on an inkstone, hypnotizing. "You already know that real fairytales aren't as pretty as we might think. But have you ever try to think that the correct term would be intriguing? The protagonist wouldn't let off the evil ones just like they do in those friendly latter, yes. Gory, of course."
He pauses, letting it sink into your mind.
"But that's what makes it exceptionally intriguing, don't you think?"
Amused but interested at his words, "Maybe? I'd never thought of it that way."
"C'mon, reality aren't so friendly, but that doesn't make it any less intriguing. I might say, it grew more tempting."
"Tempting? That's a new way to put it."
Kei leans in closer, resting his chin on his palms as his lips curved up in a delicate smile resembling his mother, pair of eyes that resemble objects you could describe. "Yes, temptation, aren't we all but a greedy, insatiable beings? Those characters, aren't they very much an almost perfect replica of us in real life?"
You briefly scrunched your nose playfully at him, gradually easing up to him despite the dark tones of the conversation since after all—fairy tales are the very thing that tugs your heartstrings and it's not once in awhile for you to find someone delving deep into the subject even if not exactly the same. "Bold of you to include me, I am not greedy at all."
"You sure?" Kei looks at you with mild disbelief, yet with a faint mischievous smirk etched on the corners of his lips. "Where there's a want or need, there exists the spectrum of greed."
"Like I said, I only want simple things, the little things."
"What do you want then?"
"A family." You answered the question with no hesitation at all, pride visible on your eyes and the smile on your face not only remains but grew wider, "Of my own."
A few beat of silence surfaces through the air, yet the ambient noise of the coffee shop replaces it instead. Soothing enough with the clink clanks of the plates, the lapping voices of the customers almost forming an orchestrated instrumental, adding the heavy scent of brewed coffee spiraling into the air in visible trails of smoke.
A slight chuckle soon squeezes its way out of the boy's lips, a small grin threatening to form on its corners. His palms made its way across his hair, ruffling the top of his head with his fingers---turning his once neatly combed hair to a disheveled one. "That's wonderful, I'm sure you'll be a great mother."
His now disheveled hair stirs quite a feeling in you that you couldn't fathom, but you smiled in return, thanking him. "Still, that doesn't prove your point that we're the same."
"Maybe?" Kei spoke in such a feathery tone that it brushes against your skin despite the obvious distance, you notice that he had his eyes on your cup before he spoke again. "How about you just give me yours, since you don't like it anyways?"
Your eyebrows raised in mild surprise, looking down at your white cup, the brown coffee still untouched "Oh, this? You can order another one though."
"Well, if you aren't going to drink it, it's all gonna be a waste."
He was right, what's the point in keeping it with you till it grew cold? You breathe out a sigh, "Alright, here."
You pushed your white cup to his side, his fingers subtly brushing against yours as he pulled it closer—having you pressed your lip in a tight line as you pulled away. You observed as he stirred its contents with the little spoon from his own cup—in a delicate motion. Raising it to his lower lip, he took a glimpse at you, "I like coffee anyways."
You watched as he drank the cup, finishing the coffee in one gulp down his throat. A scene that doesn't quite feel right, yet you brushed it off as another mere uneasiness of yours, "Can you suggest me some dark fairytales books you like then?"
"Of course. Why not? It would be my pleasure."

my phone pinged! and i debated ignoring it — for the nth time in the last hour. the music was blasting, the bass shaking the house in a dub-step rhythm. i took another swig from the metal can that had somehow made it into my hands as another text rang out and caught the attention of the girl attached to my arm. the smooth liquid was the best the bottom-shelf had to offer, and beggars can't be choosers when trying to get drunk fast.
her eyebrows knit, eyes locking on the piece of machinery closest to her sights, then raising to mine.
honestly, right now, i wanted to throw the overly-expensive communication piece at the wall and watch it shatter. i looked to her, the phone, and then the can, taking the rest of it back and crushing it like a frat-boy would.
she huffed out a laugh, "you didn't block him?" but, it wasn't so hard to believe and she knew it just as well as i did.
i still loved him, even after the couple of months we've been broken up; it's not because it was on good terms. actually, it was the complete opposite: we were shit to each other and it was best we went our separate ways. we should, in reality, hate each other. it would only be the natural thing for two people in our situation to do — however, i can't help fighting the urge to reply.
her disappointment was apparent, “y/n, are you kidding me. he’s not even here right now but you can’t stop thinking about him! pick any other guy, i beg.”
my senses were colliding like a car-wreck — leaving my better judgment in the leftover to never be found again. i could see the red and blue and hear the sirens howling out to the moon. still, even under my dying breath, his name would roll off it.
“i-i’m tryi —“
“don’t be ridiculous, i know you well.” she said, fishing the phone that wouldn’t stop buzzing out of my hand. she read out the top text, “y/n, come over. i need to apologize. I need y — he’s drunk. he only ever says shit like this when he’s drunk! you forget he was my friend before he ever dated you. and, god, do i regret introducing you to him.”
my heart sank, a nausea creeping up my throat. he was bleeding me dry, i knew it, but he could have it all; my skin, bones, blood and teeth.
“block his number before you do something we’ll both regret!” she handed it back, “you know i only want what’s best for you — you’re you for fuck sake! you could have anyone, and i mean anyone, yet the only person in your head only texts you at two fucking a.m. you deserve better than him, don’t kid yourself.”
tears pricked my eyes because i knew it was true, but the shooting pain only went away when his hands were on my skin. it was better to stay away, to not take the risk. he should’ve been — should be — the one to get away, and sometimes i also wished she’d never introduced me to the devil under a different name.
“okay,” i sniffled, her palm resting against my cheek comfortingly, “i’ll block him.”
“good.” she unlocked her arm from mine, pushing me forward, “now go find someone better! god knows the bar is low!”
i felt the brush of a body against mine as i found myself smack in the middle of the crowd. my head whipped to the sights of a boy, probably around the same age as me, half-lidded eyes and flushed features. he apologized but, honestly, it was my — her — fault, though he didn’t seem to register that it was anything but an accident, probably too drunk to.
it was an envious state, i thought.
i smiled lightly, her words echoing my mind, “its okay. i’m sorry. my name’s y/n.” his face was soft with godly-defined structure: sharp nose, eyes and plush lips that upturned with a smile resembling mine.
“fuma!” he said, trying to shout over the music. however, something about his tone told me he wasn’t loud, exactly the opposite in fact: gentle, and warm. something my boyfriend — ex — had lacked when we were still together once upon a time. “you’re very, uh, beautiful.”
i laughed at his awkwardness, though i had to read his lips to understand. “thank you,” i replied, pulling him down to my height to hear each other better. my lips brushed against the shell of his ear. “you’re very pretty too.”
he visibly shuddered as i pulled away, furthering my slight sense of pride, mostly because i never had an effect over the only person i wanted to.
he choked out, “d-do you want a drink?” and i nodded, grabbing at his empty hand. the friend i had come with gave me an approving smile and shrugged as if to say the cliché, 'he's cute and you only live once.' he froze, obviously a little shocked by our sudden intimacy, however he brushed it away and led us both to a quieter area; weaving through lip-locked and timely-jumping college students.
i found myself pushing up onto the counter top, watching as he grabbed two beers from an already opened case. they were warm, but again, beggars can’t be choosers when trying to get drunk. he cracked it open and handed it in my direction.
his eyes wouldn’t land on mine, but only stared at the lips that were taking the smooth liquid so easily, watching my throat bob with every gulp. he shifted, leaning against the painted-wood-plastic at my side.
after a moment of deafening silence he asked. “do you go to this school?”
“no.” i replied, letting the can rest against my crossed legs, “i’m here with a friend.”
“a boyfriend?”
the words stung, because no matter the truth, i still wanted to say yes. i still wanted to be able to call the person i loved so deeply my boyfriend — to have him pick me up from this stupid frat-party and not have anyone say anything about it. i still wanted him, and i knew exactly why, though i’d never admit it.
i bit my lip and fuma must’ve, even through his clouded state, read the room. “a sensitive subject, i’m sorry.”
“don’t be sorry, i, uh, don’t have a boyfriend.”
“anymore.” he corrected. maybe it was because he was drunk that his words, even slurred, were so truth-filled it stung. “but i can tell you still want him to be.”
“no,” you paused, both knowing it was a lie, “i want to forget about him. he’s not here.”
“he’s not?”
“i don’t give half-a-fuck where he is in actuality.” you swallowed a bit of your pride, as well as some beer, “if he wanted to, he would. right?”
“right.” he replied, taking another swig.
i looked at him, all of him in disbelief. he knew i was a liar, but at the end of the day he didn’t even know me the way my ex could claim. maybe, i thought, that it was the best possible situation for me to be in. actually, it was the best i could make of this fucked up reality.
my voice lowered ever-so-slightly, “do you want to?”
“be your boyfriend?”
“woah, slow down there cowboy. let’s not go that far right now — we both know i’m not over my ex.”
i couldn’t tell if his face flushed from embarrassment or just the copious amount of alcohol running through his blood. “then, do i want to what?” he breathily-laughed out.
“make me forget?”
my reply almost sounded desperate, and i wondered if that resulted in an inclination to say yes. i wondered if that’s why i was pressed against the countertop i once sat criss-crossed on, lips locked with a stranger.
i felt guilty — a little lost — the sense of feeling so good but so wrong leaking through the thought of him; the man whose hands desperately groped whatever he could find, pressing our bodies so close i was convinced we could merge into one.
a moment ago it was true i wanted him to make me forget about my ex, i wanted him just as bad as he did me. but right now, the flashes of someone else strobed behind my eyelids, projected so nicely that i even wanted to forgive him — for the nth time in the years we spent on and off. i wanted to feel the intimacy of love, even if it was fake, but i couldn't when the only person i felt stockholm syndrome for was across the city.
but, a bus ride at this hour would be easy. it would take barely half and hour before i was underneath the man i wanted so pathetically.
my body shivered, but it wasn’t from the way fuma gripped my skin so gently. i felt a coursing guilt rush over me like a bad high. in reality, i knew i shouldn’t have offered, especially when both him and i were under copious amounts of influence; him worse-off than me. i was taking advantage of a good situation, a seemingly good guy, just to get over a bad for 40 minutes.
maybe i was just crazy — not crazily in love — but just plain fucking crazy. crazy for a man who wasn't mine anymore. crazy because i knew i shouldn't want him. crazy because i knew i was just losing a part of me that should've been lost a long time ago. crazy at the thought of being crazy.
"y/n" god, now i could ever swear i was hearing voices — his voice. well, that was until a hand grabbed my bicep, pulling me away from the tall man. "y/n, what the fuck are you doing?"
i didn't even get a chance to swing around fully before i was being pulled from the kitchen and out of the house entirely. the air was frosty, but honestly i couldn't be bothered to even feel cold; too annoyed to think of anything but the man who was still latched to my arm. eventually, i got fed up, after feeling copious amounts of despair fill my chest, pulling my limb from him.
he turned around calmly, despite the red i could see seeping behind his pupils. he tried to grab my hand this time, but i back away before he had the chance.
"don't — don't touch me, k." i crossed my chilled arms over my chest, one foot back and prepared to step again, "what are you doing here?"
"you weren't answering."
i scoffed, "i never answer, k. that's nothing new."
he didn't hesitate, and it was a little shocking, "your location is still on."
"that doesn't give you th-the right to just show up out of the blue!"
and despite being mad at him, he looked so damn cute with a pout on his face. i could tell he was somewhat drunk, a pink tinting his features i used to adore oh-so-much.
"but, you weren't answe —"
you yelled, "why would i answer you, k!" i couldn't understand his infatuation with the fact that i didn't answer his late-night texts, but maybe he was just as lovesick as i felt. "wh-why would i do that after all this time?"
was he just as damaged as i was? did he really still front like he cared, and was i still falling for it over and over again? it's said that to forgive takes strength, but right now i think that holding back is taking more out of me. he had my heart in his hands still, and despite dropping it countless times, he always knew when and where to pick it back up.
i wasn't sure if i loved him, but i'm just as unsure about not being in love with him. he's driving me to brink of insanity. he's gotten everything out of me, and it's taking everything in me to not muster up more.
if i had known that love would've had such a high price tag, would i still have felt the same way towards him? maybe the good could out-weigh this bad, but i was never one to wishful think before meeting his stupid-pretty eyes. i was never one to feel so unsure before having his stupid-hot skin on mine. i was never one to wear my heart on sleeve before he oh-so-gently pulled it out of me.
and maybe he was unsure too. maybe he didn't know why i wouldn't — couldn't — answer his messages. maybe he was one to think so highly of himself that s breaking up was just a suggestion.
did i love him enough to give him a fourth, fifth and sixth chance? yes. i loved him enough to forgive and forget after every little mistake, and that's what's eating at my brain. the hardest thing I've ever had to do was walk away while still loving him. so, why doesn't it feel like it's for the better? why doesn't his memory fade like its supposed to.
"admit that you only came to see if i was with someone else." i sighed, tears blurring over his frame, "admit that it was because you were blinded by jealousy. admit that you still want me, that you can't get over us as easily as i thought. admit that you still lo —"
"i love you, y/n."

➪ 𝐒𝐲𝐧𝐨𝐩𝐬𝐢𝐬: inspired by The Heat (2013), the whole club scene with some small twists and changes. And K. ;)

It was almost 10 pm. Me and my partner were sitting in her old AMC Rambler in the dark, parking after a black truck, close to a club named Ekko. We were watching every movement of the said building's entrance, especially the people who went in. We weren't too far, so we saw everything important without needing to sharpen our eyesight. It was for the better, perhaps we needed to keep watch all night, so we had to be extra careful.
Once again I looked at my phone and recalled the suspect's name and appearance; Yudai Koga, or — in the federal operation — just K, for short. The picture was not the best quality we had of him but his main features were still clearly present. He was tall and lean, but thanks to his fitted clothes he was perspicuously muscular as well, especially his legs. He seemed like a good runner. His face was chiseled, spotless, with a defined jawline and cheekbones, a firm but delicate face shape and features, small but sharp eyes, simple, nicely-curved lips, a perfect and smooth nose, and endless raven locks. His hairstyle was nothing too outrageous, but it sure looked soft and shiny... He was handsome, to say the least. A handsome bastard, drug dealer, and co-owner of the club in front of us, who we're about to catch.
He was always on the phone with some suppliers, and by the time we cracked his current number with the experts of the federation, he already had a new one. He changed it almost every week, so it seemed. That's why we had to seek a critical solution to this problem; do this impromptu operation and plant a bug into his phone to track him down successfully.
"Hey, see that? That's Koga, the guy we need." My partner said, sharp, as I looked up and in the dim street lights I noticed his lanky figure towering over one of the bodyguards and they exchanged a few words. He was still glued to his phone, obviously, but we successfully spotted him going inside, just in time.
"Let's get moving then." I announced confidently and we opened the car's doors at the same time, walking towards the ominous entrance in big steps.
The place was packed for sure, people swaying to the loud and noisy pop-music left and right, as soon as we stepped in, the crowd was present in every millimeter of the facility. It wasn't anything fancy, it even seemed a bit rundown from the inside, but perhaps it was just the sea of people. Or the aesthetic they were going for. Who knows.
We gravitated towards the center of the big dance floor and kept pushing away sweaty bodies — sometimes a bit aggressively, to teach them a lesson. Eventually, we saw a couple of V.I.P. booths towards the back and a sneak peek of our guy, Koga.
"Look! He's there!" I signaled to my partner. "We have to dance our way through." I whispered sharply and we exchanged a look.
We started to push through the crowd but we couldn't get much closer, we were slowing down and it seemed like we were tottering in the same place for minutes, while trying to keep a safe distance from some drunk residents.
"Okay, this can't go on like this." My partner turned to me, trying to shout over the music. "Let's go over there!" She pointed towards a more peaceful area, close to the counters, more to the sides. I let her lead the way and followed without question or disagreement.
When we swam through the crowd and finally had a chance to catch our breaths leaning against the wall beside us, I noticed a fire alarm there. It was a little red box and all I had to do was pull on it and it'll go off.
This will go fast.
"...So when I pull the alarm, everyone in shock will go towards the two exits." I signaled with my hands as I presented my spontaneous plan to my partner. "He will head towards the nearest one, which is northeast. I will bump into him, pull the cell, plant the bug in his phone, and say that he dropped it. It's something I like to call a 'cop drop'." I finished with wide gestures and waited for my partner's reaction. "Yeah, I got it." She shrugged and stood back a little bit. "Okay, here we go..." I confidently touched the small red box then pulled on it with ease... But the main part stayed in my hand with the pulley thing and the rest of the box fell apart. "What? There are no wires attached to this thing..." I examined the poorly-made mechanism with a surprised but confused expression. "And what is this? Gum? Or Silly Putty?" I carefully touched the weird, slimy thing in the middle of the box, where the alarm should have been. "Don't touch it! It's a condom." My partner whispered and quickly looked behind us, while I hastily dropped the thing "...He's on the move!"
Then she sighed sharply — as if she was already expecting this. "Let's just find a bathroom ." She nodded her head in the restroom's direction with a bored expression. "I don't have to pee." I said blankly, still holding the plasticky remains of the failed fire alarm in my hand. She didn't answer, just grabbed my hands and started dragging me closer to the restroom. "Oh, come on!" She dragged me all the way and struggled to open the strong door with one hand while keeping me close to her with the other. "But I told you I don't have to pee!" I added, frustrated, when she finally pushed me inside, the music and the crowd were almost inaudible here, which, at least was a relief.
"I didn't bring you here to ask about your bathroom habits!" She said and rolled her eyes. "You're killing us out there. We need to blend in and we need to shake our asses like the rest of the foxes." She answered in a serious manner. "Oh yeah, dancing to get close to him! Fantastic idea!" I tugged on my blazer and set to go back outside where the crowd was, but my partner stopped me harshly.
"Jesus, don't. Don't do anything you're doing!" She eyed me. "W-What? But he's over that way!" I stuttered for a second, now even more confused. "Take off that freaking jacket. You look like you're about to sit down and do their taxes." She said in a deadpan tone while I was completely serious. "This is a nice jacket..!" In my final defeat, I sighed and took off the off-white blazer, folded it, and put it on the counter of the sink beside us. "Okay, the jacket's off. How about this?" I looked into the mirror and patted down my azure-colored shirt that lay underneath my blazer. "I can't watch whatever process is about to happen." She muttered. "I'm a federal agent!" I retorted to her cynical words. "I know, and you look like one! You think you'll go up to him like this and he won't suspect a thing?" She shook her head. "Now button down." She reached in my way to kindly help me out but I snapped her hands away. "I got this." I whispered and unbuttoned the first two buttons, my bra's lacing was almost see-through through the thin, silky material.
"Fine. How's that? Is that good now?" I asked impatiently after I completed the task. "I think it's getting worse." My partner was watching me for a couple of seconds, thinking hard. "My fear is that I could put you in a bikini, but you'd still look like a bank teller." I stepped back. "Do you really have to say it like that?" She shrugged. "I'm trying to make a point. I'm saying that your face, and whatever's underneath this shitty outfit might not be bad. It's just when your big mouth opens, it ruins the whole picture. It's a total boner killer, and I'm going to help you." Then suddenly she pulled out a small pair of scissors from her pocket. "What are you trying to do?!" I panicked, stepping back, completely ignoring her previous insults. "Making you a proper outfit. Now, hold down your arms." She responded casually. I did what she asked me to, but I was nervous.
She got hold of my sleeves and cut into the fabric above my elbow, leaving it uneven and the edges started to frizz immediately. "No, no! This is one of my favorites! I only brought five of these to the city!" I struggled, as I saw the piece of clothing being cut to shreds. "Then I'll cut the other four as well." She continued on a bit more firmly, not paying attention to me, and eventually both sleeves of the shirt were cut off to a simple T-shirt length.
Does this really look better?
"I look like I've been attacked." I said, frustrated. "That's not my fault." She answered nonchalantly. "Oh, is it my fault then?" At this point, I was getting a bit angry by her behavior. "Let me even out the bottom then." My partner pointed to my dress pants and I freaked out once again.
Why is she so calm? How is she so calm?
What is she planning to make out of those, shorts?!
"Everyone likes shorts." She crouched down and pulling the length of my pants, she started cutting it mid-tigh. "No! This is such a nice and comfy material!" I protested but at this point, I knew it was no use. She was cutting silently, the edges of the fine textile were left a bit uneven as well.
"Don't touch that area..." I whisper-shouted when the scissors were traveling up my thighs a bit more. "Jesus, would you stop pulling my pants off—?" I shrieked but suddenly she stopped me. "Oh my god..." She said in disbelief, looking at my legs. "What are those?" She pointed at my spandex and pulled on it because they were visible outside of my newly-cut shorts. "Stop that! That's my spandex... It holds everything together." I confessed with slight embarrassment. "Why? What's going to pop out?" She looked at me with genuine curiosity. "Nothing! It just keeps everything where it needs to be." I slightly stuttered. "But like, medically?" She insisted. "No, not medically. It just keeps everything in the right place." I tried to clarify, using my hands. "You've got to vent that furnace, you know. It's a lot of compression and heat." She shook her head. "It gets plenty of ventilation, thank you." I answered hastily. "My hand's a foot off and it feels like it's on fire." She deadpanned. "Then why don't you cut them shorter, because no one can see my cervix yet?" I rolled my eyes and gestured with my hands as I couldn't believe her actions. "I will cut them shorter—" She began but I interrupted her. "No way! We're finished. Let's do you know." I nodded my head in her direction, standing before me. "I don't need a makeover." She put away her scissors casually. "So I get to look like this and you get to look like that? Like you were?" I asked, and now I was in disbelief. "Yeah, I know it's not fair." She shrugged and frowned but I didn't feel any sorriness in her voice.
"...Let's hit it!" I announced as soon as we were out of the bathroom.
Eventually, I had to take off my spandex so it doesn't interrupt anything visually and only the newly-cut shorts were left on my legs — and my boots of course, those that I had on already. At least she spared my shoes by not altering them... Furthermore, my T-shirt length silky azure shirt was cut into a discreet crop top and that's how my federal agent work outfit was changed in the end. And my hair too; she messed up my locks, because as she claimed it, it matches the clothes' vibes better.
Now I really look as if I'd been attacked. I refuse to comment on anything else.
"What are you looking at?" My partner asked a random guy that was eyeing me rather vividly while we stepped into the crowd. "I like how your friend's shorts make me feel in my shorts— I'm sorry, that was much cruder than I meant it to be." Said the guy with glasses and a cup of beer. "See? I was right about the shorts." My partner whispered to me. "I stand corrected on the shorts." She agreed with the guy out loud. "Let's proceed." I ended the small talk and put my hands on my hips.
We started mingling with the people once again, dancing around and slowly inching closer to the V.I.P. booths and Koga.
"...At one o'clock." My partner bumped my hips and pushed me a bit forward. Now our suspect was on the dance floor too, a big group of young girls were around him, presenting themselves in revealing outfits and trying really hard to dance with him at the closest proximity. You'd expect him to enjoy it and indulge in as much as he can I guess.... but most of the time he looked through the girls with a blank, expressionless face, his mouth corners rarely lifting. But it was surprising to see him without his phone being glued to his ears for once, although it meant that locating it in the building or on him will be much harder.
"Get in there." My partner signaled toward the magic circle around Koga. "How do I get in there?" I swayed my hips to seem like I'm dancing, and slowly closed the distance between us and the crowd while slightly panicking on the inside. "I have no idea..." She said and eventually, I just let her push me from the back to get close to him faster. "Get in there and get your hands in on the phone. And do the fucking cop drop!" She said while pushing me, growing frustrated by the second with the people around. "I can't do it from this position!" I answered back with the same attitude. "Okay, coming in one more time!" She kept me on my toes and pushed me in one final time, to Koga and his circle.
I'm not the upfront type who likes to get into conflicts and lift a hand... But I have a mission this time, so I'm about to get ugly with these girlies if they don't back down.
There was a girl who was completely holding onto Koga and trying to climb him like a mountain or something. I gave a look to my partner and she sprang into action to get her off. "I got her! But you're like a freaking nanny, speed up!" She said as she kept the girl in her strong hold. At this point I was really close to him, up in his personal space with the others. No doubt, he was dashing in real life too, but I was more intimidated by the younger girls around me, at the maximum of 19 years old by my calculations. I guess he is Mr. Club Owner Popular guy here. "Picture time!" He suddenly said, not making eye contact with me yet and finally pulled his phone out.
This is my chance!
With an enthusiastic turn I crashed into him and the said picture on purpose and tried to follow with my eyes where his phone could've landed and tried to get a hold of him as well. "Damn it, can somebody get my phone?" He asked and was about to crouch down but I held one of his arms and waist, cuddling into him in a weird way. "I got it!" The same guy with the glasses who complimented my shorts showed up and handed him back the device before my eyes. I could have just snatched it but I didn't...
"Thanks a lot, bro. But close a couple of buttons, ok? Club policy." Koga said from beside me sassily and nodded in the direction of the guy's shirt. It was kind of an asshole move, but as he took his phone and was about to put it back into his pocket he turned his head and noticed me on his side.
"Koga! Hi, hello." I tried to speak in a normal voice but I was already sweaty and a bit exhausted from the previous events so my tone came out much more desperate than I wanted it to... Meanwhile, I saw my partner dragging the random guy away aggressively and pushing him way back. "Hi." Koga said and for the first time we made eye contact; for a second he genuinely seemed curious as I looked up at him, since even in boots he towered over me. "Your moves were weird as hell, but I loved it." He said with a small smirk as he looked down at me, his dark, inviting orbs gliding over my outfit. He was not afraid to take his time exploring my being, while the music was still loudly going off in the back. He pulled me into a slight daze but when I snapped out of it, with a spontaneous idea my hands immediately met with his soft, silky raven locks — they were truly as fine as they looked in the photo.
Oh yeah, that's the shampoo move from now on.
"Your hair is so soft." I said, putting emphasis on the word 'soft'. I wanted to sound seductive but I have no idea if I succeeded. The music around us suddenly changed, the beat dropped and in a moment everyone started dancing like crazy, swaying, jumping and just colliding with everyone else in general. This time I got pushed into Koga against my own will, but I didn't mind as he held onto me because the crowd was taking away both of us, fast. He grabbed my waist as I was still fiddling with his hair, messing it up lazily but eventually, I was bound to hug around his neck firmly to keep my balance. We made eye contact again, both of us being enticed and it was even kind of magical as everyone else was moving around us and we just stood in silence, tangled together. But not for long. A strong push jerked me forward and I completely crashed into him, my face getting incredibly close to his chiseled one. Our eye contact was never-ending, our noses almost touching just like our lips... Those nicely-curved but narrow, cherry-colored lips opened slightly as if awaiting something. Something even closer and sensual, than now....
"Want to get a drink?" He asked in a low voice, the words rolling off his tongue smoothly, just a smidge above the art of whisper but I could still hear him clearly when he decided leaned in a bit, speaking directly into my ears. "Yeah, sure." I said as quickly as I could, breaking our 'hugging' position and turning on my heel, walking back to the V.I.P. booths while catching ahold of his hand and lightly dragging him with me. I didn't want him to see my face change to crimson so I acted as fast as I could. As we walked through the crowd our positions changed soon enough, and now he was the one leading the way. As we arrived and sat down on a small leather sofa the realization hit me that my mission is to get his phone. His phone was in his back pocket at the moment—
"—Who's this?" He picked up the said device with a strict gaze. The alarms in my head went off and I was full-on agent mode, a bunch of ideas popping into my head as I watched him quickly end a phone call. When he finished he put his mobile onto the armrest beside him lazily and I knew I had to spring into action. I had no idea where my partner was, but I knew I could count on her abilities to carry out our initial plan. But I was the main attraction — literally — so it's time to do something, it's time to be upfront.
"Can I sit on your lap?" I looked at him from under my lashes and ran a hand through my messy hair, trying to loosen both the mood and my nervousness inside. I may have thought I look intimidating in his eyes, but in my eyes his look still gave me a chill, a good feeling spreading through my spine. "Obviously." He answered boldly and didn't even wait for me to move, he just casually placed his hands onto my waist and lifted me up, and sat me onto his lap with a swift movement.
I'm not going to lie, that felt nice. Very nice. His hands could stay there longer...
"I like where this is going." I continued as I got comfortable in my new seat. Our heads were in the same height now and I could see his spotless features even clearer than before. He shifted around a bit too, opening his legs a bit wider and relaxing his arms, his shoulders, and leaning back his torso. He was wearing a simple outfit, but it still proved to be difficult to tear my eyes away from his form. His jeans fitted him perfectly, not too loose but not too tight, just the right amount to hug around the few curves and muscles of his long legs. His long-sleeved maroon-colored shirt was tucked into his pants and its sleeves were rolled up, exposing slender but firm forearms, a big palm, and long fingers. He wore a couple of thin bracelets, but no rings. And a delicate chain necklace around his neck. As I was mapping out his build and persona, it seemed weird how two-toned his being felt. He was a simple man, handsome, tall, and muscular by body, but at the same time, his face was the perfect mixture of innocence, pure beauty, and a dash of sweetness with full-grown masculinity. I got lost in his presence again, no doubt, he was definitely a sight to look at — if not for anything, but as a side-part of my mission to memorize his face and character for the future.
"I, too like where this is going." He gave me a mysterious smirk as he hug around my waist once again, but not long after one of his hands slid down to my knee, then my thigh, and I felt light caresses on my exposed skin in a circling motion.
Damn, he's good at this.
I let loose too and leaned a bit into him, part of my back hitting his chest while my hands traveled to his neck and necklace. "What is this supposed to mean?" I asked pointing to the 'Y' letter charm on the small chain hanging around his neck — faking that I know nothing about him —, but I wasn't shy to touch his whole neck first. "It's for my name." He responded and his palm caught mine, moving away from my leg and he intertwined our fingers. "Your name?" I asked back and a smile was growing in the corner of my mouth. "What's your name..?" I asked, slowly breaking into a mischievous grin. "You should tell me your name first. I'm here almost every single night and this is the first time I've seen you. You're the first woman over twenty to sit on my lap like this and touch me, talk to me. So you tell me first." He spoke softly, sweetly even, but there was a strict, demanding undertone to his sentence as well. And his words didn't fail to tickle the shell of my ear and heat up my skin when his hand from my waist slid under my crop top, his palm touching my warm skin in that area. He kept his hand there, as a guard, as a comfort, his body heat colliding with mine and I was enjoying more and more being in his hold by the minute. His actions caught me off-guard again and I forgot both my mission and the question he just asked, but obviously one was a bigger problem than the other. "About that drink—" I tried changing the subject but his hand grabbing my hip suddenly cut me off. "We're having a big foam party later. Maybe I could get you a drink there, exclusively. And we could continue this... even further." Then he gave me a discreet wink, smile growing wider and he showed his white teeth while he watched my reaction, intrigued. "I would love to then!" I said enthusiastically, for a moment feeling genuinely excited, then I remembered my mission again.
Yes, right, let's do something about that freaking phone.
But before any of us could prepare for the upcoming events, suddenly someone really drunk and wasted crashed into the open booth and landed on the small glass table not far from us, almost overturning it. But as I examined the person's outfit — as much as I could see from it — I quickly realized it was my partner so I was at ease. "So sorry!" She said, but her voice came out muffled like a drunkard's. As the table moved, luckily there were no drinks on that could've spilled out but it almost hit us. Koga tried to stand up in a hurry so he can stop the table and my partner's dramatic falling, but this ended in me falling off his lap towards the armrest his phone had been placed on. I quickly snatched the thing and made it seem like I'd completely fallen off the couch while keeping the small device to myself. I opened it at the back with a quick move, removed the previous storage battery card, and placed in the new one which was connected to the federal system by a microchip, resulting in the knowledge about his location and position all the time, instead of cracking his current phone number and eavesdropping his calls. It was a few seconds really, but it was more than enough to catch our suspect off-guard, while he was loudly calling for some guards to have my partner removed. "Guards! Get her the hell out of here!" He stood tall. "I swear some people hold their liquor like a five-year-old..." He sighed in frustration.
My partner kept tottering, trying to get up from the table, and from the corner of her eye, I tried to signal that I was done. I didn't want her to get taken away by real guards so when I saw two of them coming closer I figured it was my chance once and for all, to get out of here as well. Although I kind of wanted to stay, this moment ended our night so suddenly but there was no real point, so I might as well get out in the safest, fastest way possible.
"Alright, sweetheart, you're out." I walked up to my partner, touching her shoulder and trying to make her get up to leave as the bodyguards were getting closer and closer. "I'm a pony!" She said and she jumped up as I tried to pull on her hand and I knew she was just making a fuss since at this point we completed our job. "Get her out already!" I heard Koga again from behind me and the bodyguards finally reached the three of us. "No! I've got to drive the school bus tomorrow! It's my shift!" She protested and the tall and armed men helped her to stand up while I stayed by her side as well. "Here we go..." I said casually in a light, upbeat tone to sound silly as she was being taken away and I followed them shortly.
"Hey, I didn't get your name!" Koga pulled me back by my hand for a second which I was genuinely surprised by. "I'll find you, I'll find you myself!" I spoke in a rush, loud and unclear because of the music and all I wanted to do was to get out. I ignored his stare and his hands holding down mine, I rather came off as cold and in a hurry. I even waved him off at the end as I quickly searched for the guards stepping out at the entrance, typically kicking out a club's resident to the streets. Not suspiciously, a minute after I made my escape too, and by the time I got out my partner looked like her old self, waiting for me. "Pretty nice, right?" She asked and held up one of her hands for a high-five. "Yes, I have to say that was pretty awesome." I accepted her gesture and we quickly started to walk back to her car.
This time I got to sit behind the wheel and when I comfortably started to drive at an appropriate pace I noticed something off in the rearview mirror.
"We've got company." I said in a low voice as the exact black truck started following us the second we took a turn to get away from the club. "Do you want me to take the wheel?" My partner asked, but she got her gun ready at the same time. "I've got this, I'll lose them." I replied confidently and took a speedy, sharp left turn right after.
Looks like our night isn't ending immediately.
...Some real action is happening at last.
➪ 𝐀/𝐍.: I just rewatched The Heat with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy and I came up with this idea because this scene in the movie is gold! (P.S. I don't own any of the original scenes, dialogues, or characters, I was just inspired by the film!)

The Thrill of the Chase
pairings: yandere!K x reader
warnings: violence (choking, slapping, biting, hair pulling), restraints, threatening, groping, mentions of kidnapping, drugging, kissing, mentions of sex (no actual smut), please let me know if I've missed anything
a/n: I wrote this at literally 5am...
Your feet ached terribly from all the wounds you recieved in your current escape attempt. Sticks and stones digging into your soft flesh while you tried to run as fast and as far away from that nightmare of a house you were trapped in. You honestly can't even remember how long it's been since he brought you there. All you know is you never wanted to go back.
That's why this pain was bareable.
You ran aimlessly through the forest. Not a town or a single trace of other humans in sight. It was freezing out, and you were exhausted. You stopped to rest and it became eerily silent.
But that was a good thing, right?
If he was around you'd hear something. But you don't so it's safe to rest for a bit. You sat under a tree, resting your back against it and panting heavily.
Once you'd caught your breath, and the fear of beeing caught began to cloud your thoughts again, you got up and started moving again. You only walked for a bit when you finally saw a small cabin not too far ahead.
You ran to it, seeing light and what looked like 2 people inside. The cabin didn't look the most inviting but in your desperate need to feel warm, anything was acceptable. You knocked softly on the door. After a short moment, a tall boy with black hair opened the door.
"Hello Miss, may I help you?" You noticed behind him was an even taller boy with lighter brown hair. "Um, I was wondering.. if it would be okay for me to stay here tonight..?"
Neither of them answered, they only looked at you with matching looks of curiousity. "I'll leave in the morning, I just have no where to go right now.." You bit your lip looking down in embarrasment at how insane you must sound to them.
"Hmm.." You looked up through your lashes to see the taller one seemingly studying you. "Yeah you can stay, come on in!" You couldn't help the surprised gasp that escaped you, "really?!" They both nodded and ushered you inside.
They sat you down on the couch and offered you some warm tea. You thanked them and sipped on it, already feeling yourself warm up. "What's your name by the way?" The shorter one asked.
"I'm Y/n"
Once you shared your name, they exchanged a glance with each other. "Wonderful, nice to meet you. I'm Euijoo and that's Nicholas." the taller one flashed a close eyed smile to you as he introduced the two of them.
"Would you like a change of clothes, you look awfully cold in that" Nicholas offered. "Actually that would be really nice, thank you." He left to go grab those for you when Eujioo looked down at your feet. "What happened..?" he asked pointing to them.
"Ah.. I forgot shoes and theres a lot of sharp sticks on the floors around here" you laughed nervously and finished the last sip of your tea. "I'll get you something for that!" He left before you could respond, and Nicholas was back with some clothes.
He directed you to a room you could change in, so you changed and went back to the couch where Euijoo was waiting for you. "This might sting a little but it'll help to clean your feet so those cuts don't get infected." He handed you some disinfectant, "Thank you so much, you both are so kind." You cleaned all the wounds on your feet, they did sting but not terribly.
You yawned suddenly feeling your exhaustion catch up to you. "You can rest over in that room you changed in." Nicholas smiled warmly at you. You thanked them both again and he helped walk you to the room. Once you layed on the bed you drifted off to sleep immediately.
The next morning when you woke up, you were met with Euijoo placing a fresh set of clothes on the nightstand by the bed you were in. "Ah, you're awake! These are new clothes for you. I made breakfast for the two of us." You thanked him, changed into the clothes, and joined him for breakfast.
"Nicholas isn't here?" He shook his head, pouring a glass of juice for you. "He left early in the morning to do something." You nodded your head and thanked him for the breakfast, eating all the delicious food he made.
After a little while of staying with Euijoo you decided it would probably be best to leave before it got dark. "Euijoo I'm sorry I think I should be on my way now, thank you so much for everthing! Please thank Nicholas for me as well." He shook his head, directing you to the window. "You can't go, there's going to be a storm." However, the sky had not a single cloud in sight. "Are you sure? The skies look clear to me." He nodded and insisted it was very unsafe and ultimately convinced you to stay another night.
You and Euijoo had spent the day together watching TV and talking. Once it became later you noticed there hadn't been any storm, the weather was clear as you suspected. It felt too late to roam around now though, so you'd stay just one more night.
"Nicholas is back." Euijoo smiled brightly and went to open the door for him. "Oh, You brought company?" You couldn't help your curiousity, peeking over to see who entered with Nicholas. The man was tall like them and he walked in with a hoodie on and his face covered. Weird.
Nicholas greeted you and whispered something to Euijoo who's eyes widened and he nodded. They both walked outside together saying they'd be right back. You were left alone with the strange man who had been staring at you since the moment he arrived.
You awkwardly shifted on the couch when you saw him walking towards you. For some reason your anxiety began to rise the closer he got to you. He simply sat next to you on the couch, a little too close in your opinion, but it wasn't that big of a deal.
You could still feel his eyes burning into the side of your face, but you refused to look up at him. Instead you looked down at your hands in your lap, fiddling with your fingers awkwardly. It was dead silent when he let out a soft chuckle, causing you to jump slightly.
You finally looked up at him, into his eyes, noticing the familiarity of them. You gasped and shifted away slightly. He pulled down the coverings from his face and you trembled in fear. "N-no... No! W-why are you here?!" You felt tears well up in your eyes and your breathing became heavy.
He flashed a smile so innocent at you that anyone who saw it would never expect him to be such a violent and cruel man. However, you knew him differently. "My precious darling, Y/n... I hope you had fun on your little adventure here. It's time to come home."
You shook your head rapidly and stood up, backing away and putting distance between you two. "I- I'm not going anywhere with you, Kei." You backed away to the front door, not taking your eyes off him so you could watch his movements. "You don't have a choice, baby." The sinister smirk he wore sent chills down your spine, but you weren't letting him win without a fight. You fiddled with the doorknob behind your back and once it opened you ran back into the woods, with no sense of where to go.
Anywhere away from him was okay.
You could hear him chasing not far behind you. "Fuck- ouch!" You stepped on a particularly sharp rock, but you couldn't stop, he's faster and has more stamina than you.
The further you ran, the more you felt it getting harder to breathe. You'd been running for a while, and when you turned back you didn't see Kei there. You looked around while trying to catch your breath. You walked and walked and he was no where.
You spotted Nicholas and Euijoo ahead, so you ran to them. "Guys! Please help me!" They looked at you this time with expressionless eyes, "Where'd you run off to, Y/n" Nicholas asked as Euijoo and him moved to both sides of you, each grabbing an arm. "I was.. what are you guys doing..?" You tried to shake them off but they only held onto you tighter. "We're helping you, of course." They walked you back in the direction you came from.
That's when you saw him. You finally realized this whole setup was a trap. "No- Stop, I don't want to go back!" Tears spilled from your eyes again and you used all your strength trying to get Nicholas and Euijoo off of you but they looked unphased and if anything, slightly annoyed.
Kei walked up to you, caressing your cheek softly, before landing a harsh slap across it. More tears fell from your eyes at the stinging pain in your now red cheek. "You should've never run away from me. I trust you know what's going to happen when we get home."
You couldn't even form a reply, the situation causing you to feel drowned in sorrow. He tangled his fingers in your hair, tugging roughly, forcing you to look up at him. You winced at that and his other hand came up to wipe your tears away. "When will you learn..." he sighed and you closed your eyes sniffling softly. You then felt a sharp poke in your neck, your eyes shot open. He injected you with it and within seconds you were out. Nicholas and Euijoo handed you over to him and he carried you back to your "home".
When you woke up, your hands were tied above your head and your mouth was gagged. He had you lying in bed, wearing his favorite little dress. You struggled uncomfortably, huffing at how tight the restraints were.
He walked in to see you squirming in the bed. "Aw, you're awake my love. That's good, I think we need to talk." He climbed on top of you, his hands on either side of your head. He slotted one knee between your legs and kept the other one to your side. Your breathing became rapid in fear and frustration.
He leaned down burrying his nose in your hair, inhaling your scent and sighing in satisfaction. It disgusted you how infatuated he was with you. "You know.." he trailed one of his hands softly along your neck, "you made me really angry with that stunt you pulled." He wrapped his hand around your neck, squeezing and constricting your airflow. Your protests and whines were muffled by the gag and he watched in amusement at the way your hands tried so desperately to get free and stop him.
He tightened his grip causing tears to spill from your eyes yet again, "What's wrong baby? You can't breathe?" He chuckled, removing the gag from your mouth to hear your cries clearly. He let go after another moment, you coughed and gasped catching your breath.
He gripped your jaw harshly, fingers digging into your cheeks. "You're such a pretty little thing tied up like that, baby." He pressed his lips against yours, sucking on your lower lip. You didn't reciprocate the kiss, feeling nauseous from the thought. He bit down on your lip, causing you to flinch and squirm. He pulled a knife from the drawer by the bed, "If you don't kiss me, I'll slit your fucking throat, darling." You gulped and nodded, so when his lips were on yours again, you leaned into it and moved yours against his.
He set the knife down, sliding his hands across your body. He squeezed your boobs through the fabric of your dress, you whined and shut your eyes tight. You writhed beneath him wanting his hands off you. He pressed his knee that was between your legs up against your cunt, "The more you fight, the more I just want to fuck you." You shook your head, pleading with him not to, of course he only laughed in response. "Your body belongs to me, I'll do what I want with it. Besides, I'm in the mood now to have a little fun with you."
"Don't think I've forgotten about your punishment though, it'll just stay postponed until later."

My Chosen Mate (Koga x Kagome’sSister!Reader)
Fandom: InuYasha
Fanfiction By: @rmorningstar21
Pairing: Koga x Kagome’sSister!Reader Cross posted on ao3 under @canonconspiracy
Warnings: Koga fawning over Kagome. Honestly, no real archive warnings. This one is incredibly old, and I’ve been keeping it around in case I have time to make an actual InuYasha Oneshot Collection, but- I have not had time. As all of my one-shots that canon under 18, this is college aged AU!
WC: 1814
Peaceful. Today, for once, in the feudal era, it was actually a peaceful day. The way the wind lightly nipped your skin felt nothing but pleasant, traveling with your typical travel companions. Kirara decided to take solace upon your shoulder as the group traveled, and your sister walked up closer to Inuyasha. Sango had been beside you, engaging in the occasional idle chatter. Miroku had not even made a single perverted comment in the last hour, making the day even more perfect than it had been with the weather.
Any day had been a perfect day without bloodshed, anyhow. With any serenity in the feudal era, searching for the shards of the shikon jewel, it was often mucked up rather quick. Unlike Kagome, who often took every opportunity she could to go home, you had made yourself a permanent fixture in the feudal era. Everything just...fit better for you. It was impossible for you to explain, but you felt you fit in far more around demons and monsters, the constant onslaught of danger, than in the modern era.
"I can sense a shikon jewel shard," you could hear your younger sister call out, a hint of panic in her tone. "And it's coming in fast!"
Snapping you out of your wandering thoughts, you could feel Shippo grab your leg for support as your hands moved to your face. Quickly, you shielded your face from the massive onslaught of winds, a hint of panic rushing into your mind. As soon as you possibly could, you found yourself checking on your younger sister, worry flashing in your squinted y/e/c eyes.
As quickly as the wind came, it dissipated, followed almost immediately by the clenching of your heart. Midnight locks paired with a friendly smile quickly came into your vision, waving as he greeted the group. Before his greeting passed his lips, you could already feel your breath hitch in your throat.
"Yo," he called out in a friendly tone.
"It's Koga!" Kagome called out fondly, a hint of confusion in her tone.
"I picked up on your scent, Kagome," he started, striding towards your younger sister. "So I came to see you. You've been well, I hope?"
Your lips curled to an unnoticed grimace as your gaze hit the rocks below you. Heart dropping from your chest to your stomach, you could feel yourself holding a breath you couldn't quite release in his presence. Though you hated the idea of being jealous of your eighteen year old sister, you couldn't help yourself when it came to the handsome wolf demon.
Inuyasha stood in front of Kagome, his glare fixated upon the demon who casually walked up to the group. "What do you want, you mangy wolf?" Inuyasha spat venomously, clearly protecting your sister as he spoke.
Growls sounded from the two, while you took the opportunity to shift your gaze back to the handsome wolf demon. Everything about him was just so alluring to you, all the way down to his blue eyes. You almost couldn't see why Kagome had been so resistant to the man, but you couldn't complain. Seeing the two together would have shattered that simply drowning heart of yours.
"Come on," Kagome interjected. "Don't go picking a fight already!"
"Stay out of it," Inuyasha spat quickly. "I may have to kill him, or worse."
Scoffing, Koga replied with, "You haven't changed one bit, mutt. You'd think you could lose the arrogance once in a while. Kagome, don't you get tired of being with this guy?"
"And you'd think the two of you would have a little mutual respect for your own skills," you chimed in, finally fed up with the conversation as your arms crossed over your chest. "Instead of being at one another's throats."
Koga's blue eyes flickered over to you, a raised brow as he immediately spat, "It's the mutt's fault!"
"Surely the two of you strifing over my adorable sister doesn't have a part to play in the insults," you replied in a bored tone, walking over and wrapping your arm around Kagome's shoulder. "I'd just prefer the two of you don't kill each other."
"Why are you defending the mongrel?" Inuyasha chimed in defensively, trying to play off your words. He knew far better than to just strike you over the head, unlike if Shippo were to point out his attraction to Kagome. "Aren't you tired of him trying to go after Kagome, too?"
"Thoroughly, but I enjoy his company," you replied dismissively, trying to ignore the way that your heart tightened in your chest.
"Didn't you say before that you li-," Kagome started, before you quickly placed a hand over her mouth.
Scrambling, you sent a glare her way to get her quiet before you allowed her the personal space back. Moving to cross your arms over your chest, you glanced away from the group. "I guess forget I interfered," you said, a little dejected as you moved to slip further away.
"I'm sorry, Y/N, I didn't mean-," Kagome breathed out, flustered by the way your face practically dropped. "I…"
"What does she always get weird with the mongrel around?" Inuyasha questioned, all three now looking at you.
"I'm still here, you mangy mutt!" Koga chided.
"If you two are going to keep fighting, I'm just going on ahead," you spoke finally, the tension getting to you. You didn't want to be around your sister, nor any of your friends as you realized the way your heart rained inside your chest.
The last thing you could hear was even more fighting, indistinct as you continued to walk further on ahead. Sango, Miroku, and Kagome all trusted that you were able to take care of yourself, with the intelligence of being able to call out for help if any actual issues arose. Walking alone was something you relished in, the way you could allow your tears to streak down your face without the bother of the others.
You were not even sure how long you were walking, though the others still had not come in sight by the point you decided to take a seat upon the rocks. No one in sight, you allowed yourself to sigh, coming out as more of a choked sob. She's prettier, you thought morosely. Prettier, and able to see the shikon jewel.
Head resting in your hands, you had not even noticed the patter of feet beside you as you allowed yourself to cry. It had only been the point that someone's warm hand was on your shoulder that you jolted up, grasping for your blade. Panicked y/e/c eyes met blue eyes, and immediately your blade dropped. Quickly you turned your head as your other hand moved to hastily wipe away the sight of your tears.
"Hey, hey," he murmured softly, "It's just me." Pausing, he moved to sit beside you on the rocks. "Does us fighting really get to you that much?"
Calming your breaths, you had not shifted your gaze back to the man as you grimaced. "No," you admitted softly, "It's not the fighting. If anything, that just gets on my nerves that the two of you can't be present in the same area for more than five minutes."
"Then, what's got you down?" He questioned curiously, the heat practically radiating off of him as he sat beside you.
Biting your lip, you replied with a simple, "I'm more afraid than anything to admit that."
"I won't tell anyone," he pressed with a reassuring smile on his face, moving to try to catch your gaze.
The way his heat radiated off you made your cheeks heat with crimson, while the way he pressed the question made your heart sink. Swallowing hard, you had your gaze fixated upon the ground below, refusing to meet his gaze. "Your seemingly devout love to my sister," you replied finally. "It, well, it hurts to watch."
"Y/N," he spoke in a serious tone. "Do you love me?"
"I-," you started, baffled by the man's words. Biting your lip to the point it nearly bled, you thought over whether or not you wished to admit it to Koga, to admit that you were hopelessly infatuated with a man you had met merely a few times. For that matter, that you were a human, interested intently in a demon. Your voice had barely been above a whisper as you answered him. "I do."
"I want to hear you say it," he pressed, his breath practically against the shell of your ear as his voice was a dull growl. "And look me in the eyes."
Sucking in a deep breath, you forced your bloodshot y/e/c eyes to meet his blue gaze. "I love you, Koga," you murmured, your voice shy as your cheeks darkened at your own words. "But I understand that you don-"
Caught off guard with surprisingly fierce lips against your own, you found yourself instantly melting into them. Inviting his lips to ravage your own, you moved in sync, the slight taste of salty tears mixed in with a taste you could have only imagined. Upon your lips, you could feel the wolf demon smiling into the kiss.
Slender, strong arms found their way around you as he pulled you right into his warmth. Kissing you until the two of you needed to breathe, he rested his forehead against your own, the fluffy headband he wore pressed against your forehead. Blue eyes met your own as his words were quiet, meant for only you.
"You understand that wolves mate for life, right?" He questioned, his lips still curled upwards as he gazed into your eyes.
Your cheeks could not be any darker in blush as you listened to his words, still dizzied from the ferocity of his kiss. Even so, you found your own lips curling upwards, a skip of beat to your heart. "I do recall you saying that, but didn't you-," you started, before his words cut you off.
"If you actually want to be my woman," he spoke, his tone serious, "you will be my mate, for life. You're a fierce warrior, especially for a human, Y/N. Not to mention beautiful."
"May I at least ask why the sudden change of heart?" You questioned finally, wanting to clear up any sort of confusion. Merely twenty, maybe thirty minutes prior, the wolf demon had been chasing after your sister, after all. "Or if I'm a constellation since my sister keeps refusing."
"I claimed Kagome because of the shikon jewel," he explained softly. "You, Y/N, I have genuine affection towards. If you feel the same, I would like you to be my mate."
"Of course I will," you replied with a clear hint of excitement in your tone, your cheeks still as dark with red as they possibly could be. "Nothing would make me happier."

Inuyasha; Koga x F!reader
You were a friend of Kagome's, who for some reason, could pass through the well.
Today was your third day on the other side of the well, and currently you were with Kagome and the others adventuring. You had on a (f/c) kimono that was similar to Sango's, your (h/c) hair in it's usual style, and wearing wooden sandals to match the time. You had a sash around your waist, a complimenting color of your kimono, and inside was a small dagger for protection in case you got separated or things got bad.
Suddenly stopping in your tracks, you almost ran into Kagome's back, who ran into Inuyasha's back, and rubbed her face
"What's wrong, Inuyasha?" She asks, and Inuyasha sniffed the air, then frowned
"It stinks like wolf over here." He mutters, and Miroku and Sango shared a sigh at the same time.
You on the other hand, looked confused
"Wolf? Should I be worried?" You ask, feeling tension in the air, then a gust of wind over took the area.
You raised your kimono sleeve to cover your face so dirt wouldn't fling into your eyes and nose, then lowered it as it stopped. Looking up, she noticed a wolf boy in front of Kagome, who seemed mildly annoyed with his presence. Inuyasha though wanted to kill him.
"hands off Koga!" Shouted Inuyasha, shoving him away, causing Koga to be shoved your way, causing him to run into you. He growled and went to whip around, but as his gaze went up and met your gaze, he felt heat crawl up his neck to his face. His face was dangerously close to yours, and he was frozen in place. And so were you.
His piercing blue eyes staring into your (E/c) eyes, your breath caught in your throat. It seemed like time was standing still, and all you thought was the song lyrics of Kagome's favorite song playing through your head
" I just can't take my eyes can't take my eyes off you"
Finally, Inuyasha grabbed Koga by his hair and yanked him back
"Get away from (y/n) !" He shouts, and Koga kicked Inuyasha in the face, launching him a few feet away
"(Y/n)..." He repeats, breathlessly, looking back to you, his cheeks pink.
Kagome smiled nervously, noticing the chemistry between you two
"Yes, that's (y/n). She's my friend from home" she says, smiling and explaining. Koga smirked and looked to you, then grabbed you by putting an arm around your waist
"You're going to be my woman, (y/n)." He says, then throws you onto his shoulder and takes off running, a cloud of dust behind him. You let out a panicked noise and yelled for Kagome, who yelled at Koga, and inuyasha swore, and he group took off after you. Koga laughed and continued running, easily out running the group.
Soon, he stopped at a cave as it was getting dark out, looking like it was going to rain. He set you on the ground, and the second you did, you slapped him with all the force you could muster
"You can't just steal someone! Take me back!" You said, trying to show your brave face in front of a demon you didn't know, who said he wanted you to be his woman.
The slap echoed through the cave, and he looked stunned, then licked his lips, turning to you. You flinched a bit, but he smirked
"I won't hurt you, I already said I want you to my woman (y/n). I only took you so I could get to know you one on one, without that idiot Inuyasha getting in the way." He says and crosses his arms. You felt your face burning
"I'm not gonna be your woman!" You huffed, and he smiled softly
"We just met, you don't have to decide yet." He says, then moved and sat down at the edge of the cave, as suddenly it started down pouring. Well, there goes your chance to leave.
Joining him, you sat near the edge of the cave, but on the opposite side, afraid to be too close to him. You weren't sure you could trust him yet. He was the most attractive man you'd ever met, but that didn't mean shit about his personality.
He noticed this, and looked to you, smirking softly
"I don't bite..unless you want me to." He says with all too much confidence in his voice, and you felt your breath catch in your throat and your face heat up. Huffing, you turned away, and spent the next hour listening to the rain, until he finally spoke up, letting you get used to his presence. He began asking you questions about your self, genuine questions, like he was curious about you as a person. You hesitantly answered them all, and he did as well, even going as far as to tell you about the wolves and the pack he lead, and about his family.
Before you knew it, it was night, and you were tired, so you untied your sash from your body and curled up on the ground in the middle of the cave, and began to fall asleep, but you were so cold. The cave was so cold. You couldn't help the shivering that took over your body, and a small chuckle left Koga. You opened your eyes and looked to him
"What's so funny?"
"If you're so cold, just ask me to cuddle with you." He says, teasingly, grinning, showing off his sharp canine teeth, hiding the blush that wanted to take over his own face. You blushed deeply and huffed, shivering harder, then turned your head away. You didn't say anything, but he took that as an okay, and moved over to you, slowly, laying beside you and putting an arm around your waist, pressing his body against yours to keep you warm. You curled up and curled into his body, trying to take in all the heat you could; that's all this was, you told your self. Eventually, you fell into a peaceful sleep, cuddling a way too cocky wolf demon.

black hair ▶ koga yudai.
oneshot practice.
author's note: yes just call me a kei writer at this point ┐( ˘_˘)┌
"hm?"
kei's eyes fluttered opened with the sensation of your palms caressing the top of his head, your fingers playfully tapping each hair strands—counting each and one of them.
it was soft to touch, like if you close your eyes, you actually would've mistaken yourself to be touching a bunch of fluffy cloud. however, the reality are nowhere the same as it is was just your giant boyfriend called yudai—currently laying on your lap as you two were out on a picnic at the park.
there are less people than usual, but you didn't mind it. the lush green field and the gentle breeze coming from the direction of the quiet lake added much to the serenity, something you very much needed today.
just a quiet, peaceful day with someone you dearly loved.
"do you like my hair that much?" kei gave you a smug grin, a stark contrast from his soft bead eyes that exudes innocence. you scoffed, paired with a following slight giggle.
"what do you think then?"
"i'll take that as a yes then." he replied, obviously satisfied. opting to pick the strands of his hair with his index finger and thumb, "i'm thinking to dye it soon, y'know, for our next comeback."
"that's cool, any colour would suit you." you hummed. continuing to pat his hair down. kei shuts his eyes, relishing himself in your tender touch.
kei shrugs. "i don't think blonde would suit me, i would definitely look like a tourist in my own country. plus i don't want to stand out too much."
"you don't look anywhere near a foreigner, silly. only your height, that is." you leaned in closer, scrunching your nose at him. "especially your height."
his eyes shot wide open, eyebrows knitting together. "not my fault that i'm a giant. plus, your loss cause' you can't reach up until my shoulder. ugh—!"
kei's lips form into a pout, stroking the aching spot on his forehead.
"nah, your fault for being a damn giant. who told you to grow this much, are you trying to reach the heavens for god's sake?" you scoffed, pointing your fingers at him and at the luminous blue sky.
"well, if i wasn't this tall. we would've never met, so i guess.. thank my height then?"
"hah, screw your height! go back to sleep!" you let out a tsk, covering his eyes with your palms. the boy protesting in return, with a series of tiny pouts. yet he eventually gave up less than 20 seconds later, emitting a long sigh.
"so.. what colour do you think would suit me?" kei asked with his eyes tightly closed.
"like i said, any colour would suit you." you replied, but an afterthought makes it way through your mind as you observed the way the breeze blows his loose strands. as if his hair was breathing in unison with the lush field in the background. "but black fits you the best, though."
"no dyeing my hair then." kei bursted into a small giggle, still shutting his eyes tight—fixing his posture slightly, making himself comfy on your lap.
"as if the company would let you." you snorted, watching as your boyfriend's wide grin refuses to dissipate. "sleep."
kei hummed in return, his left hand sneakily grabbing your hand from your side and placing it on top of his head. "pat my hair, then?"

Someone in the Crowd (Koga x Reader)
𝗔/𝗡: 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲’𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝘅𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗳𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶’𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁.
𝙒𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚? ⇒ 𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩
𝙟𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙢𝙮 𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙧?
He’s panting.
His chest is heaving- he can feel it expand against the tightness of his costume. Sweat makes the fitted suit stick to his skin. He wants to pull it off and finally have a chance to truly breathe. It’s a familiar feeling, but it never grew more manageable with time. Not like they said it would feel, anyway. But somehow, that’s not the most pressing thing on his mind.
It’s not the bright lights that seem to glare at him with hardened frowns from overhead. It’s not the uncomfortable grip he has on the microphone either. Nor is it the small earpiece that digs into his skin. It’s the crowd.
Rather, someone in the crowd, instead.
“Hiiii bunny,” He drawls, breathlessly and the crowd goes wild. He’s so tired from the last song but the numbing buzz of a performance is what’s keeping him on his feet. The smallest of laughs escape his lips as he gazes dumbly into the sea of adoring fans before him. The cameras flashing and the wild screaming is overwhelming, but the tunnel visual is coming on strong. He can feel the other members' gaze on him, but he’s finding it hard to care. He knows the repercussions, and he’s more than willing to take the fall for this. It’s worth it. It’s always been worth it.
To the outside world, it’s just an act. It’s just an ad-lib to grab at the hearts of fangirls everywhere. It’s the chance to imagine that you’re the only one he’s talking to: to be the girl of the infamous Koga Oogami’s dreams. Why else would call out the name, bunny, if not to stick with his image as the devilishly handsome, wolfish heartbreaker? But when the affection was playfully handed out, it was taken in by the greedy ears of adoring girls everywhere.
A dazed smirk adorns his face, exposing his sharp canines, and the crowd grows just a little louder at the unconscious action. Chants of his name are echoing across the venue and bouncing around in his head. Idols can’t have girlfriends. Idols can’t have wives. The mere thought of the rule makes him want to scoff but he keeps it in. He knows when to play his part- when to push buttons and when to step back in line. But that didn’t mean he couldn’t toe the line every now and then, right?
His eyes trail the venue lazily as if he’s searching for someone. It’s a harsh reality, but he knows he won’t find her while on stage. It's just a private box set up far enough away where she's safe and out of sight, but close enough where she can enjoy herself too. Even still, he clings to the hope of making eye contact in one of his songs. Just for a moment- just long enough to get her excited.
Excited for what’s to come after the show.
“..I love it when you say my name like that, bunny…” He all but moans into the microphone as his tongue sensually trails across his lips. “...Oh baby girl...you don’t know what you do to me, do you?”
The crowd explodes before he could even finish his sentence. He huffs another laugh and turns his head slightly away in mock bashfulness, taking the opportunity to move to the far left side of the stage as a distraction for what he’s about to do. He keeps his gaze turned towards the crowd with a dark and seductive look in his eyes. In a practiced motion, he brings his hand smoothly to his ear, hiding the fact that he’s trying to communicate with staff by fixing his messy hair.
“Is she enjoying herself?” He speaks with a tight smile, microphone off, and held down by his torso. He has to be careful not to reveal the true nature of his actions. He’s not completely stupid, he’s just... a little on the adventurous side.
“...She is…she says she misses you as well…” His head perks up at the static-filled message that comes across after a few seconds of silence. Her bodyguard, he recognizes instantly, as he perks up once more, both in relief and satisfaction. One would have thought the noise of the crowd would have drowned out any other sound. But it’s Koga. And nothing keeps Koga away from his bunny. No one.
“Is that so?” He lets out a bark of a laugh as he finally addresses the girl directly. He’s crossing into dangerous territory but he doesn’t care. His blood is pumping, his heart is racing, and somewhere out in the sea of strangers- there’s someone who knows him better than he knows himself. Someone who HE knows better than she knows herself. He’ll be damned if he stopped now. Not when the game is just starting. Not when he already feels like he’s on fire.
It’s the low, dangerous growl that escapes his lips that really sets everything in motion.
“That’s my girl…”

Koga x Reader (Inuyasha)
Stop Acting Like a Child
Now Koga was being a real pain in the ass. You sighed as you walked through the woods, your hands clenched into fists as you searched for the wolf demon. You were one of the few recruited wolf demons that weren't born into the tribe and who tolerated even being in the same area as Koga and his minions. You were able to tolerate it until this morning when you had been assigned a particularly difficult task. This task required you to watch out for Koga, keep him out of trouble, keep him happy, make sure he doesn't go on rampages and so forth. You had to make sure he took on his rightful place on top of the clan and did his job. The only downside to the task was that you had to do it... as his betrothed. That's right. You had been forcefully engaged to the irresponsible Koga. Now it wasn't the fact that he was irresponsible, it was also the fact that he completely opposed the idea of marrying anybody that wasn't his Kagome. He completely ignored the fact that he had to and tried to make you look bad by doing so. He had stormed off in a direction you could only hope was towards Kagome. With those jewel fragments in his legs, he had taken off at top speed, and it was your job to bring him back. It wasn't too hard for you to pick up the scent of the dog demon and wolf demon, which was soon followed by loud arguing. You sighed in agony as you approached a clearing where Inuyasha was screaming at Koga who was down on one knee, holding Kagome's hand.
"Ah, sweet Kagome. It seems the time has come for me to give you my full love. I had intended to do this another way, but it seems I am short on time," Koga said as Kagome's cheeks turned pink and she looked at him confused, "Kagome, will you-"
Koga was cut short when you brought your fist down upon his head, "Koga. What kind of nonsense have you been spitting out?"
"Oh. (Y/n)." Kagome said. It wasn't the first time you all have met, but you didn't make a habit of chasing after Koga like this.
"Hello, everyone. Sorry about him. We'll be leaving." you said, pulling him by his ear.
Koga smacked your hand away, "Like hell, I will. I will not be going anywhere with you. I love Kagome!"
Inuyasha growled, "What the hell does that have to do with anything?!"
Koga crossed his arms, glaring daggers at you, "Glare at me all you want to. You just have to deal with the fact that we're engaged. Now get over yourself. Why would Kagome want a spoiled brat like you anyways?" you said, and his glare faltered.
"Oh yeah?" Koga challenged, "Well I'd rather fight for Kagome than deal with someone as annoying as you!"
"Annoying?" you asked shocked, "You think I asked for this? Ever since we were kids, I've had to put up with your childish ways. Always being forced to get to know you and understand you. Years later and look where that got me?!" You were getting extremely worked up, and the others took a step away as you stepped towards Koga, "Now you listen to me, Koga. I don't give a damn what the hell you want. And neither does the clan. So suck it up, stop acting like a child, and come back."
Koga's glare became a frown, and he looked down for a moment. His gaze hardened as he looked back at you, "No. I'd rather be exiled than be forced to marry someone I'll never love."
"Koga!" Kagome said, knowing that what he said was taking it too far.
You paused, your gaze holding his and unwavering. Sure you said you were forced to put up with him, but over time you hadn't minded. You had even fallen for him at some point. You may not have been ready to marry him but to hear him say he'd never love you, it was almost heartbreaking. Almost. Your hands clenched into fists, and in one swift movement, you punched him hard in the jaw.
"Fine! Do what you want to then. See if I care! Not like I ever loved you anyway!" you yelled at him, your voice cracking a bit as you turned and ran off.
Koga crossed his arms with a 'humph' and turned his face away, "Good riddance." he mumbled, but then placed his hand to his jaw, flinching a bit at the pain.
"Koga," Kagome said in an alarmingly angry tone of voice. She gripped his ear roughly, "How dare you go and break (Y/n)'s heart like that!? That was so rude and mean!"
Koga's face held fear, "W-what're you talking about? She clearly said she never loved me and she didn't care."
Kagome let go, "Geez. You guys really know nothing about romance. (Y/n) was obviously lying. They just knew that whatever they said wouldn't change anything."
Kagome turned to walk away, sticking her nose in the air, "Let's go everybody. We have jewel shards to find."
Koga grabbed her hand gently, "Kagome wait. Will you marry me?"
Before Inuyasha could react, Kagome snatched her hand away, "How rude of you to ask me that when you're already engaged to (Y/n). (Y/n) was right. You are just a child." With that, the group walked away, of course with a smirking Inuyasha.
Koga stood in the clearing, his mind full of thoughts as he let out a frustrated scream. He was angry, but he didn't know who to be angry with, so he chose someone. (Y/n). With fire in his eyes, he raced in the direction of your scent. You had chosen to go back to the cave where everyone was. When you returned without Koga you were bombarded with questions, none of which you answered. You went into your small space, gathering all of your things into a bag, silent tears streaming down your face. Moments later a crowd of people burst through the entrance, complaining about where Koga was and what he was doing.
"I don't care! Now get out!!!" you screamed at them, which caused everyone to jump and back out silently.
You went back to packing up your things. Your tears blurred your vision a bit as your (e/c) eyes scanned the now empty room one last time. You heard the fabric sway as another person entered your room.
"I don't want to speak to anyone. Get out," you said sternly, furiously wiping your eyes.
"Not even me?" came Koga's voice, only a few feet behind you.
You turned around, your gaze angry, "Especially you." you said in a bitter tone.
Koga sighed, "I deserve that."
"You deserve much more than that. But I'm not worth your time, and you're no longer worth mine," you stated plainly.
You closed up your bag and turned to walk past him, but before you could reach the doorway, Koga grabbed your hand and pulled you back. Your back crashed into his chest, though you didn't move as his arms enveloped you in an embrace. You didn't move or say anything, but your cheeks heated up to a rosy shade of pink. You remained stiff against his warm body, feeling his sculpted chest against your back.
"Koga," you spoke, but Koga spoke over you.
"(Y/n) listen. What I said earlier, it was taking it too far. To say that I would never love you. In truth, there was a time when I did love you and would've been ok with marrying you." Koga admitted, his cheeks red as his gaze saddened, though you couldn't see, "But... then there was Kagome. And-"
"Stop. I don't want to hear anything more," you said, your voice soft as tears slowly fell from your eyes, dripping onto Koga's arm.
"Just let me finish." Koga pleaded, and he took your silence as an ok, "When I first realized I loved you, I didn't think you'd felt the same. I was out by the river, thinking, when you approached me, saying how you were getting lectured because I had disappeared. Usually, you wear your hair in a shaggy kind of way like you just woke up, but on this day, your (h/c) hair was down and groomed, like you'd taken time to look extra good. And instead of stolen clothes, you were wearing the clothes of the tribe. It was rare, and I never saw you like that again. In that moment, even though you were scolding me, I knew I was in love. I said to you, (Y/n), "
"Your hair. And your clothes. I think I'm in love." you finished for him, "And at the time I thought you were merely joking, even though my heart skipped a beat when you said it."
Koga let out a soft chuckle, "Now here we are. Finally where we imagined years ago, and yet it's not where either of us wants to be."
You shook your head, "It's not where you want to be. I was glad but you... you had chosen Kagome over me. Even though she's chosen Inuyasha over you."
Koga let his arms fall to his side as you turned to face him, "I know. I just thought you had moved on from me."
"Moved on? Koga, I love you. Always have and always will. But I won't force you to feel the same. Which is why I'm leaving." you explained.
"You're leaving?" Koga asked with shock on his face.
"Yes." you said with a nod, "I will find somewhere to go so that I will no longer interfere with you and Kagome. And I'll call off the engage-"
You were cut off by Koga crushing you into a bear hug. The tears sprung to your eyes again as you had no time to react. Koga pulled away, and his lips met yours in a mix of passion, lust and a bit of anger too. This, you could react to. You met his passion with your own as your tears stopped flowing. You two leaned away from each other, both grinning.
"Now about this wedding to plan." Koga started.
"We're not inviting Kagome." you said definitely, "But can we invite Inuyasha?" you asked teasingly.
Koga's face turned red with anger, "Hell no!"
You kissed his cheek, "I'm just teasing. Now, what do you say we get on with getting to know each other better?"
Koga smirked, "I like the sound of that." Koga said, and your lips met once more, introducing a long night together and the rest of your lives.

UNDEAD x GN!reader - Morning scenario
Characters: Rei Sakuma, Kaoru Hakaze, Koga Oogami, Adonis Otogari
Genres: Fluff
Smaller “tags”: Polyamory relationship, domestic, tickles, pillow fight, kisses, nicknames, somehow became Adonis-centric toward the end, sleepy reader, GN!reader, many nicknames for reader bc I’m trying to keep it gender neutral, do you know how much I love domestic fluff
TW: Cursing (from Koga and reader)
Word Count: 1967 words
A/N: This has been sitting in my drafts for what, two months? Started from a brainrot between me and a friend and evolved into a fic by my extremely slow hands… UNDEAD supremacy orz This is more like a full-length oneshot than a drabble at this point- I REGRET NOTHING! UNDEAD was the first unit I produced and they will forever have a special place in my heart <3
ALSO REI’S NEW CARD /foaming at the mouth/ P-pretty…
UNDEAD 。・:*:・゚★,。・:*:・゚☆
“Mmrgh…”
You groaned as a ray of light slipped past the thick curtains and promptly smacked you right in the face, making you turn over, away from the offending sunlight and into a cool, dark… Shirt? A steady pulse was muffled behind the fabric, your forehead landing on cool skin and some extremely well-defined collarbones, a ghost of a breath against your head. Hmm.
Pale eyelids cracked open to meet your gaze when you looked up, bright red eyes staring back at you for a moment before their owner gave a lazy smile, cheekbones hiding that beautiful red ever so slightly.
“Good morning, my sweet,” The self-proclaimed vampire says, burying his face into your hair. All you could manage out in reply was a soft hum, still not awake enough to give a proper response. It’s only when he tightens his hug that you notice his arms around you, keeping you close to him. “Shall we stay here for the morning? You don’t seem like you want to get up, and neither does this old man.”
You smile into his chest, similarly wrapping your arms around him. He takes that as a sign of agreement, pressing a kiss to your head before resting his chin on top of you as his breathing evens out again.
The atmosphere was quiet, dark, calm, and absolutely smothered with love.
Unfortunately, someone ends it all too soon.
A whole onslaught of sunshine bursts into the room as someone throws the curtains open, eliciting noises of protest from the two of you on the bed.
“Kaoru.”
Rei’s voice is stern, a little whiny, with no actual malice behind it as he readies himself to lecture the other male. You only sigh and curl up further into him, avoiding as much light as possible as you listen to the black-haired male scold the blonde.
“What? It’s nearly noon at this point!” The male with sun-kissed hair replies, sitting down on the bed right next to you - you could feel the mattress tilt down slightly under his weight - and sweeps the hair out of your face, kissing your cheek to rouse you. “He-ey~ Sweetheart, it’s time to wake up. Don’t stay in bed all day like Rei-kun. He’s a bad role model.”
“How could you accuse me of being a bad role model?” The man in your arms retorts, a leg moving to sling over yours to keep you with him. “If our darling so desires to follow my ways rather than yours, could you say a wrong choice has been made?”
You close your eyes amid the bickering of two of your lovers, slipping back into dreamland. The weight of Kaoru shifts from somewhere behind you to where you and Rei’s feet lie, for some odd rea-
“ACK-” You nearly scream when one hand firmly grabs your right ankle and fingers start tickling your feet, a devious smile evident on the perpetrator’s face. “Stop that-!” Words don’t quite come out properly with the way you were wheezing and choking on your laughs, kicking at the blonde who was thoroughly unaffected and laughing at you. “KAORU!”
“Now you’re wide awake! See, Re- Oof!’ He cuts off his gloating when a pale foot lands on his stomach in a well-aimed kick, sending him stumbling backwards and earning a shriek of alarm from a certain silver-haired male who had just walked in with his pet dog.
“Watch it, you!” Koga hurriedly bends down and pulls Leon away from Kaoru, gnashing his teeth in the blonde’s direction as you heave a sigh of relief and Rei - the cause of this situation - chuckles at the sight. “You nearly stepped on Leon, fucker!”
“It’s because that old man kicked me!” Kaoru points an accusing finger to the male in bed next to you, a frown forming on his face as he looks at the younger. “You should be blaming him, not me!”
The dog lover narrows his eyes at the ‘vampire’, who turns away and buries his face in your shoulder, a smile against your skin as he trembles from laughter. Your arms snake around his head, patting his hair as you blink groggily, wondering if you could somehow fall asleep amidst this chaos.
“I blame both of ya’ fuckers, how ‘bout that!” Koga procures a pillow from god knows where, throwing it in Kaoru’s face.
Too bad, the blonde’s reaction time was fast, so the pillow flies past him as he dodges and hits you straight in the face instead. You cry out in surprise, shocked awake. The brunette tsked and removed the pillow, holding it up and away from you, practically strangling the poor pillow. “How terrible of you, wanko. Our sleeping beauty didn’t do anything to deserve such a rude gesture.”
“Ah.”
The so-called “wolf” almost instantaneously turned puppy-like, and you could just see how his metaphorical doggy ears were flopping down sadly, apologetic gaze flitting from you to the floor as he struggled out an apology. “I- Um… I’m-”
Koga doesn’t get to finish his words though, with two pillows knocking into him simultaneously as he yelps amongst the chuckles of the other two men. His usual demeanour returns, baring his teeth at Kaoru and Rei and snarling. “You two will pay for that!!”
You duck under the safety of the blanket as Koga returns fire, “oof”s and “ack!”s and the occasional triumph laughter before it was muffled by a pillow in the face sounding throughout the room - a terrible background sound to fall asleep to, as much as you loved them.
“What are you three doing?”
A new voice, full of bass, joins the noise, and you flip the sheets back a little to peek at the beautifully toned man who’d just walked in. At least three pillows were instantaneously hurled at him - all of which he caught and returned with inhuman strength, knocking over all three of the fighting males while still blinking dumbfoundedly.
“Adoniiiis,” You whine, rolling out of the bed now that it was more peaceful, stumbling over to fall into the strong male’s arms. “I want to sleep but they noisy.” Proper grammar was the least of your worries right now.
Adonis holds you up as you complain, allowing you to bury your face into the crook of his neck and breathe in his scent of breakfast - the smoky smell of bacon, the salty scent of butter - it was enough to make your stomach growl, the sound catching his attention.
“I’ll bring you out then. Eat with me before you return to your slumber - you need more meat to grow strong.” Giggles escape you when you hear his usual catchphrase about eating, and a happy laugh when he smoothly sweeps you off your feet into his arms, being strong enough to carry you and possibly the three other males at one go. Guess his talk about eating meat to become strong wasn’t all talk - this man ate a ton of meat and was undeniably ripped.
He tilts his head down a little to bump noses with you, a small but rare show of affection initiated by the usually aloof Adonis. You put your hand on his shoulder, pulling yourself up a little so your lips could land by the side of his, tasting a hint of fried bacon. The male’s face turns red at your action, giving an embarrassed hum as he turns to bring you out of the bedroom.
Thump!
A pillow hits his back where your hand rested, and you catch it before it falls and hits Leon, who was obliviously wagging his tail in excitement. Luckily, Adonis was sturdy enough that he didn’t fall over from the impact, or you’d fall to the hard floor too.
“Can you guys chill out for one fucking minute?!” You lifted your head above Adonis’ shoulder and near-screamed in exasperation (with the added foul language you’d picked up from Koga), flinging the pillow at them - it pitifully lands at their feet, barely touching either of them - then groaning and ducking to hide behind the purple-haired man’s large figure. “‘Niiiis, let’s leave those three idiots. I just wanna be with you.”
“But I love them,” He blinks at you, torn between two decisions he never had to and will never have to make. Adorable. “I love you too, but I am quite unwilling to leave them.”
“How sweet of you, Adonis.”
The smooth voice of the oldest among you five spoke up, and you watched the red-eyed male walk up and press a kiss to the side of Adonis’ head, along his sideburn. Kaoru followed suit, wrapping his arms around Adonis’ waist while resting his chin on the other side of his head. Koga, being late to the little party, grumbled.
“Stop hogging Adonis! The hell am I supposed to do with you three all over him?”
“Kiss him,” You piped up, tilting your head back to see the puppy-like man standing behind Rei and Kaoru. “His mouth is free.”
“I- What-”
“That is indeed a fact, pupper,” Rei backs up your suggestion, a smirk spreading across his face. “Go on now. I’m sure you wouldn’t mind the audience?”
“Aww, is the little doggy shy~?” Kaoru teases in a sing-song voice when Koga still doesn’t move (someone would have to remind him how flustered and panicked he was before, during, and after his first kiss with a guy), one hand leaving its place around Adonis to drag the silver-haired male over. Gold and silver. Pretty. Then again, they were all stunning.
“Who’s shy?! I- I’ll kiss him right now, so all of you shut up!” Koga retorts harshly, yet the blush never leaves his face as he shakes off Kaoru’s hand, walking round to face Adonis. “Don’t laugh!” He gives you a pointed look when you rest your head against the chest next to you, smiling as you watch.
Koga, with no gentleness whatsoever, launches himself onto the other’s lips, a hand gripping Adonis’ bicep as he presses into the kiss before pulling away quickly. “There! Now let’s get out of here!” He stomps off with a face as red as a rose, mumbling to himself while the corgi bounces out in its owner’s footsteps. Rei and Kaoru exchange smiles, walking around Adonis - who was blinking with a slightly flushed face - to get out the door too.
“Come on, my prince. Let’s enjoy the meal you cooked, shall we~?” The vampire beckons, sailing out the door with his messy locks flowing behind him, making him look simply ethereal. The head of gold followed suit, turning to wink and blow a kiss at you and Adonis before he disappeared around the doorway.
“Hrm. I- Yes.” The tanned man coughs awkwardly, shifting your weight in his arms. You grin at his reaction, poking his cheek.
“Is it so embarrassing to be kissed by puppy Koga?”
“No,” He denies it almost immediately, starting to walk, firm and steady steps plodding down the wooden hallway despite carrying another human in his arms. “It was… Nice.”
“Aww, ‘Donis!” Pulling yourself up a little, you press light kisses along his jawline, grinning. He could be so sweet sometimes - no, more like all the time. A delightful balance to the rowdy, whiny, and cheeky three who were already at breakfast, the sounds of their usual banter echoing down the hallway as you and Adonis approached.
They all complemented one another perfectly, from Rei’s neverending pampering to Kaoru’s flirtatious nature, Koga’s tough love and Adonis’ unwavering affection. And somehow you fit right into this circle of love, completing it in your own way.
A miracle, perhaps. A reward for performing some great deed in your past life. All your luck gathered in the form of four lovers.
Whatever it was, you were glad to have them all in this life.
“Ooo, tomatoes. How nice of you to prepare a favourite of mine~”
“Huh? I thought you liked tomato juice, not the fruit - or some teenie tiny version of the fruit? What even is this?”
“Those are called cherry tomatoes, Hakaze-senpai. Not ‘teenie tiny versions of tomatoes’.”
“Who cares about tomatoes? Pass me the meat!”
