New Song: Supernova Swordsman
Another short song I made over the course of a handful of hours! This time it's a character theme for Killian (sort of)! I took inspiration from the vibes of Axiom Verge and Spiritfarer in terms of instrument choice and whatnot

New Track: Eternal Autumn!
made a weird mostly improv piano track over some beats. Very different for me but I like it a lot! Hope y'all do too!

Gonna start making short songs for fun and drawing art to go with them. Not gonna spend more than a couple hours on these so they aren't gonna be super polished, but I hope y'all like them nonetheless!

ok due to the request of like maybe a few people, I set up a bandcamp and my one (1) song is on there for free! so now you can add it to playlists, download it, loop it etc without having to find the tumblr post lol. I guess I'll actually use this for all of my future songs that arent affiliated with any specific project?

Realizing I never posted this song. I made it over three years ago for a game project that I don't yet have the skills to make. Ironically it was for the area in my world that I am currently revisiting in my small bird game idea!
This song probably won't be used in any of the current game's areas due to the different time period and vibes though, but it is a little peek into what my brain had planned for it years ago!
I'm still really happy with the song except for the ending bit. I think it's a little too busy.

What's the creation myth of the world?
hmm there really isnt one (not one that's very important at least). The Legend of the Equinox is a tale of the marker for a new era where most known current history stems from, but there was very clearly still a world and time before that era.
I don't know if I want to share the specifics of what that legend says, but here's an ancient music track I made meant to be used in a cutscene showing that tale storybook style:
It's old so it's rather flat and the mix is rough but it's still one of my favorite songs I've made. Would love to get to revisit it someday.

Is there a special event or holiday uniquely in your world that you could share with us? I wonder how your characters would react when confronted with a vastly different culture than theirs...
I keep wanting to draw the big Equinox Festival in Isaac's hometown but I never have the time or energy to figure it all out. The whole town gets covered in decorations and bright colorful star shaped lights are placed everywhere. There's ceremonial dances and offerings given symbolically to a statue of their guardian deity. There's also fun carnival type games and attractions!
I actually made a song almost 4 years ago for the exact scenario you described, when Isaac takes Branlin to his hometown during the festival and it's rather hectic and overwhelming for her (warning, it's old so it's kinda rough all over):

I hope the songs I make manage to convey the intense cosmic sense of longing I feel on a daily basis. Because that’s typically what fuels the mood and tone of my music. And why I typically have very clear visuals to go alongside my songs!

It's Bandcamp Friday! (I think)
today's the day where if you buy any of my 2 whole songs on band camp i get 100% of the money (or something) so if you feel like tossing a couple coins my way for a couple of okay tunes I'd really appreciate it!

How many years did it take for you to learn and make music? I’ve listened to your music on patreon, youtube and tumblr and they are great!
First of all, thanks! Glad you like my music! So I only seriously started learning how to make music and use DAWs to compose multi layered songs in late 2018, but I started messing around on piano as early as 2016. Because shortly after I played Undertale I was inspired to try to learn some of the songs and we had an old busted up yamaha keyboard my grandfather had left at my parents' house so I plugged it into one of my brothers' guitar amps and just poked around a bunch. This is one of, if not the oldest recording of me playing piano ever. Just me doodling around with zero music knowledge:

Fun fact: The scene this comic takes place in has been in my mind for years. Here's a wip song from almost 4 years ago that I made for an early version of it
This short part was going to be the like big swell a bit into the song. Also yeah it's old so the piano is way too harsh lol.

New Album Out
I put together an album of some of my oldest music tracks for a game idea I had all the way back in like 2017/18 for fun! I don't know if I'll ever come back to the game idea so I thought it could be cool to shine a light on some of my very early music work to show how far I've come! Feel free to check it out! It's totally free! (the post title is a link)

Audio
Since you can share audio on here, here’s a rough version of the intro area theme for my game! I wont share stuff like this often, but I figured something small like this can’t hurt!

Oh! Speaking of this church, I was listening to the really old music I made for the old game idea in this setting and found a track dedicated to a small church location related to this group! The mix is very rough and it does not fit the vibes of the guys above but I just figured it'd be neat to share! This song is 4 years old!
