New Album Out

I put together an album of some of my oldest music tracks for a game idea I had all the way back in like 2017/18 for fun! I don't know if I'll ever come back to the game idea so I thought it could be cool to shine a light on some of my very early music work to show how far I've come! Feel free to check it out! after all this time i was finally able to commission the wonderful @ziorre and got the most breathtaking art of dagan and my oc helia 💕. they’ve been on my mind a lot lately and ziorre really brought helia to life with this, i just can’t thank her enough!!

Since I'm gonna use her in an event, I figured I'd share Helia! She's a budding photographer who's as sunny as her name ^^ But she also goes by the philosophy of "Do no harm, but take no shit"- If someone tries to mess with her, her words can be scathing. If that doesn't happen, she's sweet as can be!

Helia holds her camera close as she looks around the entry hallway, her eyes thankfully casting at least a dim glow in the direction she looked.

"Prolly our best option... Maybe I'll get some cool pictures to show off when we're outta here!"

Thank you to everyone who signed up to participate in the seasonal event! Without further ado, let's begin....

Separated in the darkness of the forest, everybody finds themselves lost and confused. Fylass ( @george228732 ), Sono ( @eliastheownerof0axolotls ), Biovor ( @wyverewings ), and Helia ( @waddledoodledee ) stumble into an old spooky mansion, and the door slams shut and locks behind them. With only a candle to guide them, and no way of knowing who else - or what else - is in there with them, they must find the key and a way to escape!

Haywire ( @littengamer909 ), Chocomonio ( @ceoofmetagala ), Vampire Waddle Dee ( @olivestones ), and Dotty ( @cauli-flawa ) get stuck inside a seemingly endless cave system, filled with bats and spiderwebs and who knows what else, when the ground collapses out from underneath them all.

Gladis ( @kachikirby ), Mysillor ( @moonsharkss ), Marianna ( @mariannaoceanna ), Celuttes ( @sonyodreams ), and Celesta Knight ( @lucent-nargacuga ) end up turned around and in the very center of the forest, where they find a creepy cemetery shrouded in darkness. The pathways of the forest twist and spin, and no matter which way they go, all paths seem to lead back to its spiked gates...

* as an extra note, due to the aura of the forest, the effects of most magics are dampened.

@thoughtfullyrainynightmare mentioned that if we were to combine all of Nozel’s wives from across the different universes that he would have a football team…so I made a family tree to show just how large his family (along with the other Silva siblings) would be! I made this a while ago, so sadly there isn’t any Vanessa x Nozel or Dorothy x Nozel 😅.

I guess I'm done with mermay for this year huh.

Anyway, I recently watched some playthroughs of Hades 2 (and 1) and I really loved the character illustrations they had, so I wanted to try and sort of take inspiration from the style, and see what I can learn from it.

I decided to draw Helias for this experiment, as he needed a design upgrade anyway. I have few other characters on the drawing list too that I'd like to utilize for this.

(I'm imagining Helias is speaking to the kids of my story's main fam, Hitomi and Ichirou, in that bottom fake screenshot. Shaell is their 'Deity/King' as their family are Soul Eaters, although only Helias refers to him by his first name, he's mainly known as Amaros)

I left the BG for the last one simple as I currently had no proper ideas for it.

(ALSO. I can't believe it took me almost 10 years to realize that Helias' name came from a greek myth. I LEGIT forgot about Helios being a thing, I did not give my boy a similar name on purpose I swear)
