Sorry for the lack of blog today. I got 5 minutes to get this out and I am back to work. Lol.
Hope you are well. I am knitting like mad to get the P to 9 inches now. I have like 3 left, but that three inches will take all day. Lol.
Hope you have an awesome day!
Much Love!
Huge Hugs!
Happy Knitting!
Ana

Jen Parroccini is a fantastic advocate for this, whether you want to learn how to do the math yourself or join up in the call for designers to do the work. She’s jp_knits_things on IG and her website is jpknitsthings.com.
Listen I am not going to name anyone specifically, but pattern makers need to talk to one (1) fat person before they can post their patterns online.
I am so sick of finding a cute pattern, getting all the supplies, checking my gage, and starting to knit, only to find that my sleeves are a foot longer than a normal human because the pattern maker just multiplied all their numbers by 10 when they sized it up. I can't believe I have to say this but, just because my ass is fat does not mean my arms go down to my knees???

12October2024--Bonus.
How are y'all doing today? I am soaking up the quiet while the hooligans are still asleep to get some shop stuff finished/started. Other than that, I am good. I hope your weekend has been great, too.
As I said, I am trying to get some shop stuff going, but I think I am going to spend today working out mug rug patterns and getting them into the Master. Mug Rugs come 6 to a box in a small crate to keep them all contained. After that, I will work on the M for a while after the kids wake up. I did get the next 2 skeins for the M ordered and I also grabbed the first two for the next three projects for the shop, so I can get all of them going as well.
Speaking of the M, it's currently in that long slog between taking off for the sleeves and the hem. I still have a ways to go on it before I do the ribbing and the bind off. This will be the first time I am adding in pleats and a kick, so wish me luck there.
The P is just past the increases. Yay! I'm still not to the sleeves yet, but I'll get there. Next is the C, then the P+ and the R. Yes, these are all code names.
In other shop news, I have decided that the new Petrie pattern is okay, but I need to work on the Chomper a bit and fix it, because it's just not right. I mean, it's right, but it washes up to be short and wide, much like the problem with the Petrie. I am hoping the Cera and the Spike don't give me near as much headache, but they likely will.
Sometimes, I miss the days of working on hats and dish cloths. But the kids still need their afghans this Christmas, so please bear with me. However, Sister has already told me more than once, they know they will get them, it's just a matter of when.
As the shop is a learning experience, I am figuring out that I may need to take a year hiatus to build up the season and to fully stock the shop up again. Lol. I'm flying by the seat of my pants, so please forgive my missteps.
Anyway, Hope your weekend is AWESOME!
Much Love!
Huge Hugs!
Happy Knitting!
Ana

Sweater update 4 :)
So I finished one sleeve so it’s just kind of sitting there on the string of some old earplugs from work lol.
I’m gonna go back and forth between the new sleeve and the body. The thing is I’m mildly shitting my pants bc the pattern on how to join the sleeves doesn’t make sense to me. Oh well I’ll figure it out or ruin it trying :P
Also there’s the name of the yarn shop in Lunenburg where I got the yarn in the second pic.
I just remembered I’ve never told you guys the yarn I’ve been using so here’s that
I bought it back in 2022 so idk if they’d still have it. I’d love to go back some day bc the (lovely) older lady seemed mildly offended that I was more into crochet at the time lmao I’d love to show her my knitted lopi when I’m done haha.
They’re all 2 ply. From left to right the colours are
Natural White
Sage yellow heather
Fox heather
All the colours are being used as
A, B and C like in the pattern
And once again, here’s the pattern I’m using :)
