"You should've killed me when you had the chance." I breathe out, my knife a mere centimetre away from his neck.

"Why? So, i could lose my chance to admire art from this close." He says, his breath hot and heavy against my ear. Goosebumps trailing across my body as I supress a shiver.

"Where did you pick up that line from? Google?"

I ask, a smirk maring my face as I hide behind my perfectly crafted mask that tends to somehow crack under his intense gaze. Trying and failing to ignore the fast rhythm of his heart under the palm of my hand.

I am heavily conflicted with whether to rip his eyes out of their sockets or to stare into them until I gasp and beg for air before the blue in them drowns me.

If I were to die, i would hate love to die that way. To drown myself in that perfectly cold yet welcoming blue hue that seemed to hold a fire hotter than the sun.

If only we weren't on the opposite sides of fate. Maybe i could feel alive while breathing too, instead of thinking longing to about drown drowning.

What if the gods had never sent Hermes to Priam to accompany him to the Achaean camp? What if he never went there in the end?

What if it was Andromache, who, alone, sneaked out of Troy and into the Myrdmidon camp to find a way to bring her husband's body home?

This is a class assignment that I chose to do on the Iliad because I am still obsessed. The speech bubbles might look a bit weird because I originally did this whole comic in French and then translated it. Hope you guys like it because I cried a lot internally writing this.

Some instinct made her lift her hand and cup his cheek with her fingers. The room was too dark for her to see him, but she could feel the stickiness of the blood, and a wetness that was not blood. “Little bird,” he said once more, his voice raw and harsh as steel on stone. Then he rose from the bed. Sansa heard cloth ripping, followed by the softer sound of retreating footsteps.

When she crawled out of bed, long moments later, she was alone. She found his cloak on the floor, twisted up tight, the white wool stained by blood and fire. The sky outside was darker by then, with only a few pale green ghosts dancing against the stars. A chill wind was blowing, banging the shutters. Sansa was cold. She shook out the torn cloak and huddled beneath it on the floor, shivering.

I saw Swept Away today, catching it on the matinee of its final day. Wow. It was so beautiful and intense, and it made me all the more sad that the production got cut so short.

The whole cast was phenomenal. The dancing! The climbing of the ship rigging! The HARMONIES! The heart-wrenching performances! And you could tell by the end just how heavy this day was for them. The final moments hit extra hard today.

The stage production and choreography blew my mind! I'll be thinking about the shipwreck scene especially for a while.

And of course the (spoiler alert) cannibal sacrifice/self-sacrifice scene between Big Brother and Little Brother - I was clutching myself, the railing in front of me, anything I could the whole time. It was awful and beautiful.

Happy trails to the whole cast and crew! You delivered something spectacular, and I hope it finds new life after Broadway somewhere. But even if it doesn't - it was a magical moment, however brief, and I'm grateful we got to experience it.
