The most important thing in flooring projects is to start it right. I have to match floor in this room with existing one in the hall. I took my time, did the math, measured 27 times all the angles and distances and finally had my starting line. I used @besseytools_northamerica spacers to keep the first line of boards firmly in place then I nailed it to the subfloor and added some glue just in case. This is my workshop for today. Last touch to the flooring project is to add a bullnose piece above the stairs. Brought my favorite tools, including this big Makita gun from @shopmaxtool. When you are kneeling 4th day in a row you don't take chances 😂 @awp_gear Seriously, love and hate this project. I'm getting lots of satisfaction from solving problems with that floor puzzle but I'm achy all over. We weren't made for this position! Lol. Laying down the floor in closets, figuring out those nooks, seamless transitions between the rooms it's all really good challenge. Should be all done by the end of a day.
