What do you think happens when a unit fails their Loyalty Trial?
Hmmm, I've been thinking about this one and it's interesting! I honestly don't think there's any further punishment besides not being allowed to continue at Wunsoc/being kicked out?
Like, the history and purpose of Wunsoc isn't revealed until units start their second year, so if students flunk out bc of failing their Loyalty Trial in the first year, they don't really have any deep dark Wunsoc secrets they can share with the outside world. This makes me wonder if any students were to be kicked out in their later years (which, while threatened often, likely wouldn't exist unless something of like, Courage Square Massacre proportions happened, etc.) if their memory might be altered or something, or something is done to them so they can't spill Wunsoc secrets, idk.
Interestingly, while it's something that Wunsoc has put into place as a possibility, I don't think a unit has ever failed the Loyalty Trial before? There's a part in Wundersmith where Dearborn refers to 919 as part of an "unbroken line," with "unbroken" making me think that there has never once been a Unit that's failed or gotten kicked out. Also, we saw it with 919 all throughout their Loyalty Trial– no one wants to get kicked out of Wunsoc! These 9 children each year spend a year beating out tons and tons of other Nevermoorian children to gain their spots, and they're not about to knowingly give that up not even one year into the society. They all know the benefits that being a society member awards them, and they don't want to lose it.
Also, I don't think Wunsoc would really want to get rid of any society members? They need folks to keep up C&D all across Nevermoor, and to further spread their reach and influence. I feel like in the same way that Wunsoc members (in this specific case, students) don't want to give up their position, Wunsoc Elders and other higher-ups don't want to lose them. However, their motivations might be a touch more... corrupt or selfish. Could be fun to see Wunsoc dismantled and/or expanded by/at the end of the series to become less exclusionary and pretentious!
Edit bc Socc pointed out some stuff when I asked for opinions in the Discord: The stuff in this post was me mostly just thinking about students specifically and how they're valued both by themselves and by Wunsoc as they continue their studies. Obvs there's cases like Alfie, who's no longer in the society I believe bc he lost his knack. Then there's Mildmay, who betrayed the society by stealing knacks and people and trafficking them and etc etc etc. who was then banished from the society. So I think the qualifications for being kicked from Wunsoc are something like 1. not being worthwhile/useful anymore, like no longer having a knack that can be used (exploited?) by Wunsoc or 2. betraying the society, such as Mildmay with his scheme and Squall with the Massacre. New unit members have already initially proven themselves as useful through the Show Trail, so that's qualified in one way, and the Loyalty Trial is seeing if they qualify as people that won't betray Wunsoc for selfish reasons. Again, I don't think anyone has ever failed the Loyalty Trial bc of everything listed above, but still. Interesting to think about!

HCs and OCs for a fic
Toyomitsu family: Descended from one of the first giant mutants in Japan. Tend to have monster or animal related transformation quirks in addition to being huge. Own farmland and forested areas all over the Kansai region. The family founded the Devil’s Market yakuza group which has been extremely long-running and focused on buying and selling illicit goods, general goods, and general supplies and labor for larger people. A Toyomitsu has been either the boss or first lieutenant of the Devil’s Market for as long as it’s existed. They had to move out of their Osaka base when All For One set up shop, their current main base of operations is in Esuha city. The family also runs a franchise of butcher shops across most of Japan under the name of Oni Meats which carries a vast selection of animal protein from around the world. Nearly all members of the family have prey drives from their monstrous transformations.
Ma- Manami- (Quirk) Bugbear- transformation quirk. If the user is sufficiently fat then they can transform into a hybrid bear/reptile monster. Has great senses and night vision as well as enhanced strength. Can induce fear by staring someone directly in the eyes. -->Prefers not to be involved with the less legal dealings of the family and Devil’s Market. She’s more than capable of being as much of if not more a terrifying mob boss than her little brother. She just likes farming better. -->Generally doesn’t look people in the eyes unless she doesn’t like them b/c her terror-inducing power stays active regardless of her form. She prefers not to scare folks who don’t deserve it. -->Gets on very well with her sister-in-law, if she wasn’t married she’d steal her brother’s wife. -->Met her husband in a fighting ring. She eviscerated him with her claws and he broke one of her arms and several of her ribs. They started talking while getting patched up. -->Is about 7’10” and built like a well-padded brick house. -->Is the one who judges new recruits into the gang. Tends to have them do farm work for at least a month to get a bead on their personalities.
Pa- Noel ‘Blue Devil’ Diablo nee Toyomitsu- (Quirk) Energy absorption- emitter quirk. Can absorb, temporarily store, and redirect kinetic/thermal/electric energy. Too much energy kept in the body for too long causes reckless and impulsive behavior and hyperactivity. Devil- mutant quirk. Has devil-like horns and a tail. -->Used to be a nomad b4 settling down with his strong beautiful wife. Supported himself on his travels with fighting, gambling, handyman skills, and musical skills. -->Brings nothing to the table in his household other than his good looks, good nature, and knack for fixing things and a broad range of skills. -->Holding in excess energy makes him glow blue, especially his horns. -->Loves his family just so much. Is the goofy dad and great flirty husband. -->Loved to carry his kids until they got waaaay too big for him to pick up. Stands on a char to talk to his kids and wife on their level. B/c they are just so damn tall. -->Is 6 ft tall with a strong build with very little body fat b/c of a side effect of his quirk. He gets cold easily b/c of this and it bothers his joints.
Grandpa- Ryuji ‘The Dragon/ Dread Emperor of Giants’ - (Quirk) Dragon- transformation quirk. Can transform into an eastern dragon or humanoid eastern dragon with the severity of the transformation depending on percentage of body fat. Can also control the weather. -->Controlling the weather means that his farms never have a bad year. He does sell this service on the black market through the Devil’s Market. -->Wanted to be a hero when he was young and stopped when his mom got sent to jail for vigilantism and murder for stopping a serial killer from preying on women in the community -->Retired after a betrayal from some too ambitious underlings lead to a crippling knee injury. Still acts as a source of wisdom for the family and the gang. -->Is the go-to babysitter. -->Prefers to be in his transformed state and hates the anti-public quirk use laws with a passion. -->His full dragon form is as long as a bus and can fly. His humanoid dragon form/human form (sans antlers) is 8’5”
Grandma- Akane- (Quirk) None. -->An ex-mercenary who beat Ryuji in his prime AND in his full dragon form with nothing but some rope and her bare hands. -->Very good with guns and knives -->Takes advantage of the fact that as a plump quirkless woman she tends to get overlooked by people with powers to end fuckers. -->Was the one who got rid of the over-ambitious underlings who attempted a coup against her husband. -->Is about 5’10”, very chubby, wears glasses, and is rather soft-spoken. -->Is an icon to the quirkless members of the Devil’s Market and teaches them how to fight people with powers.
Uncle- Wani ‘The Butcher’- (Quirk) Crocodilian- transformation quirk. Similar to grandpa but crocodile instead of dragon. Has a great sense of smell and hearing as well as night vision. Is bulletproof at full strength. -->A strong proponent of community defense to the point where more people came to him about community issues than go to police or heroes. He gets problems handled permanently. -->Also heavily invested in technology and occult studies to see if there was a way to make life easier for people -->Also prefers to be in his transformed state -->Caught and ate 3 quirk diagnosing doctors in the area who were trafficking children into human experimentation. Managed to rescue most of the kids. -->Was arrested and sent to Tartarus for a string of killing corrupt cops and heroes fucking around in his neighborhood. His family often visits him. -->Fell for his wife when she bet him she could drink him under the table with the loser paying the tab. She won. -->Is about 8 ft tall and at least half as wide b4 going to jail. In prison he rapidly lost weight, the family is planning a jailbreak.
Auntie- Jay ‘Jaybird/Hummingbird’ Johnson nee Toyomitsu- (Quirk) Fast Twitch- emitter quirk. A speedster type. Can move and think at superhuman speeds for a few minutes at a time every hour. Has a very high metabolism and needs to consume large amounts of food in general. -->Was a villain before settling down. Still pulls off a robbery every now and then and has a fondness for gems. -->A Black American who came to Japan to hide from law enforcement after a heist gone wrong. -->Thinks that the way people throw the word villain around to just about any fucker committing any kind of crime while using a quirk really dilutes the word. Thinks that villains need fun costumes and proper themes and intent. -->Her sister-in-law was one of the first women she’s ever met who never criticized her eating habits and she would kill for the other woman. Ride or die friendship. -->Is constantly hungry due to her speedster metabolism and has to eat a lot. -->About 5’8” and leggy with plenty of visible muscle.
Sister- Onini ‘Oni/Gargoyle’- (Quirk) Gargoyle- transformation quirk. Can transform into a stone-skinned gargoyle with the severity of the transformation being dependant on amount of body fat. Heat Sink- emitter quirk. Can absorb, store, and release thermal energy. -->Tried to become a hero but was bullied out of school -->Named after one of her mom’s friends -->Considers cousin Kenji to be effectively one of her brothers -->Became a firefighter and uses her quirks on the job even tho it’s illegal. Not like the people she’s saving are gonna complain. -->Tends to flirt with strong women. -->Actually tends to stay partially transformed b/c she likes having a tail and passes herself off as a mutant -->If she gets too hungry and loses control she can become a heat vampire and freeze things to death while feeding on their body heat. -->Spends a lot of time helping out on the farm and her mother is most likely to pass ownership of the family land to her once she retires. -->The most likely person in her generation of the family to have biological kids. --->Keeps teasing Fatgum about when he’s gonna officially adopt his interns. -->Is about 7’5” and technically is too heavy to fly but she glides pretty well.
Cousin- Kenjiro ‘Kenji/Ken/Shuten’- (Quirk) Fast Oni- transformation quirk. Can transform into an oni with enhanced speed and strength. Transforming causes his metabolism to speed up and he burns fat to stay in oni form. Has a speedster metabolism in regular form, if he doesn’t eat a substantial meal every 5 hours he starts losing weight (fat and muscle) rapidly and is consequently always hungry. -->Would love to stay in his transformed form but can’t due to the timer. -->Is jealous of Taishiro’s height and metabolism so he makes fun of the way Tai’s face looks when he’s transformed. Also jealous of Onini’s ability to not be constantly hungry. -->Is constantly hungry from the day his quirk came in and had to take appetite suppressants during puberty to keep from losing his head and chowing down on anything and anyone in reach during his growth spurts. -->Has been mistaken for Fatgum more than once due to their similar-ish size and clothing choices. It frustrates him to no end b/c he’s way darker than Tai and prefers wearing blue or white. -->Has intentionally eaten people. Most notable example being him ending a war with a rival yakuza group by capturing, butchering, and cooking the rival leader and openly serving him for dinner at the peace treaty/gang merger. -->Strongly supports Fatgum as a hero and the two combine resources to help the community whether that is through funding housing for the homeless or getting a very good tailor the resources to make clothing for specific clientele or sending the other to deal with a situation appropriately. -->Brings a knife to a gunfight b/c he’s a superstrong speedster and a gun ain’t go do shit if you ain’t got no hands. -->Thinks Overhaul is a stupid asshole b/c it’s not that hard to get blood out of a kid or train a kid to be ok with it. -->Is about 7’10” and has heard every short joke under the sun from Tai
Fatgum-Taishiro ‘Tai’- (Quirk) Fat Absorption- Transformation quirk into an uncanny valley cartoony blob man that is as strong as the amount of body fat he has. Can absorb, neutralize, or release kinetic energy. Eyes glow in the dark like a cartoon when his quirk is active. Has a great sense of taste and is incapable of feeling sated/is always hungry. Also has an extremely efficient digestive system that breaks food down in seconds. Can also convert fat into muscle as well as generally having enhanced strength and speed while transformed. -->Was a late bloomer. His quirk didn’t start coming in till he was 8 and it took a while b4 he was fat enough for it to have notable effects. -->Preferred being in his skinnier form during middle and high school due to bullying and self-esteem issues that he didn’t work through until his early twenties. -->Started high school at 5’7” (170 cm) at 14 yrs old and was 8’2 (250 cm) when he graduated at 18 yrs old. Puberty was hell and pants were his enemy. -->Had a friend in hero support who took it as a personal challenge to make him clothing that he couldn’t destroy, that would grow and shrink with him, and that he couldn’t outgrow heightwise either. Ended up inventing ‘indestructible pants’ and making bank. -->Does not have canine teeth due to a mutation related to his quirk. Does have several rows of teeth that can replace themselves like a shark’s due to the same mutation. The fuckery of his mouth is only really noticeable if he’s ‘stretching’/pushing his transformation to its fullest extent or if someone’s feeling around inside of his mouth for whatever reason. -->Does not have a gag reflex -->Has been constantly hungry since his quirk emerged and like Kenji had to take appetite suppressants during his growth spurts to keep control of himself. An asshole classmate once replaced his appetite suppressants with appetite stimulants to see what happens. Several people ended up hospitalized, Taishiro still has nightmares about it and said asshole student actually managed to get expelled. Has a restraining order against said asshole classmate who fucked off to England to be a hero there. -->Is so glad he’s done growing. Went through clothes like water when he was a teen. -->Going several days without getting enough calories in tends to activate his prey drive and he really doesn’t like that b/c heroes shouldn’t murder or maul people. Figured out this aspect when he mauled a bully after his quirk just came in and later during a survival training exercise in hero school in which he ended up eating a live bear after several days of living on trail rations (scared his teammates for life with that one). -->A lot of aspects of his costume with the bright colors and friendly mannerisms is to reduce the intimidation factor/terrifying aspects of his appearance. He is aware that in his transformed state he’s a giant uncanny valley cartoony egg man monster that can fucking absorb people into his body. -->While transformed his limb, mouth, and eye proportions are extremely fluid and change nearly at will. If he wants to his face can be entirely mouth, which he knows is terrifying to other people. His arms and legs can rubber hose it though they aren’t as strong when he does that, does mean he can grab from angles that shouldn’t be possible. -->Was bullied as a kid for being ‘quirkless’ b4 his quirk manifested and then he was bullied for being fat. It did a number on his self-esteem as a teen leading him to prefer using his thinner form as his default. -->His thinner form was considered a heartthrob in school to his frustration. Didn’t mean he didn’t take advantage of the fact people found him hot to make money or flirt a free lunch off of someone. Was in a hot guy calendar made and distributed by one of his classmates. -->It absolutely gets on his nerves when people only find his skinny form attractive. -->After graduation, he lost muscle b/c that starter hero paycheck ain’t shit and the Hero Commission refused to let him write off food costs as business expenses. Had to save his food money for patrols leading to him losing weight. -->Participated in underground fighting rings to both make some money on the side and get better at using his quirk -->Has tried Trigger b4 and carries a small vial of the good version of it just in case he really needs it one day. (Listen, you ain’t finding shit trying to pat down fucking Fatgum) -->While transformed the absorbing things into him thing is automatic, put too much pressure on the flabbier parts of his body and you’ll just sink in. It takes effort to release things and took him a while to learn how to do this as a kid. Before he learned how to release things, he’d just turn off his quirk to get things out of him. -->Was blackmailed into working for the cops after getting caught during a raid of one of the fighting rings he was participating in. Decided to be a double agent and give away info on cases to the Devil’s Market to help them stay ahead of the cops. Also blew a decent chunk of the Osaka police force’s budget on his feeding since they wanted to use him. Ultimately this is what caused the police to break their partnership with him b/c he was too damn expensive to keep on the payroll. -->Once he became decently popular he and the Devil’s Market started funding a superhero trade school to get people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to get into hero schools for various reasons trained up and educated enough to get a hero license. -->As a hero he just doesn’t enforce the dumber laws like anti-public quirk use laws b/c who cares if people use their quirks if they aren’t hurting anyone. Also prefers not to label criminals as villains unless they’ve done some truly heinous shit b/c he knows that villains get harsher punishments in the justice system. Is also a strong proponent for rehabilitation for criminals. -->Once got caught in a scandal where he and a close friend and classmate managed to get a quirkless friend of theirs enrolled in their hero school with the help of a hacker. It took months for the school to catch on, during which said quirkless friend excelled in the hero classes. Fatgum and his friend nearly got expelled when caught. Later he helps that quirkless friend get a provisional hero license to become Japan’s first quirkless hero. -->From his family history, to his accent, to his size, to his ancestry Fatgum got torn apart by the media when he first started making waves. It took years but his image as a fun friendly beloved hero won out over ‘loose canon with criminal ties who’ll probably turn villain any day now’ -->Most of his sidekicks are folks he knew in his underground fighting days or rehabilitated criminals. Sidekicks and interns from actual hero schools are picked based on both potential as well as ‘how well can you bend the law/see in shades of grey instead of black and white?’. Essentially interning with Fatgum is a long process of unlearning propaganda and a practical application of morality on a case by case basis. -->Is aware of the hornier corners of his fandom and doesn’t know how to get them to understand that death via snusnu is not a way they want to go out (“How do you know this?” “...No comment.”) and telling them that they would def either die or require medical attention only makes them hornier. He finds it distressing and tries to avoid these people. -->Only found out that his name and birthday were puns when he was in middle school. He was not pleased. His parents had a blast since they were waiting for him to figure it out. -->When transformed his face, hands, feet, knees, and elbows are the most vulnerable parts of his body. Hence the leg armor (and occasionally arm armor). -->Due to his size, he’s got a few glaring blind spots, the main one being that he simply can’t see past his belly when looking down. He has tripped over short people b4 b/c of this. At least one of his friends from school would take advantage of this when he was in his larger form to sneak up on him.

Tag Game
I was tagged by @zmlorenz and @drippingmoon. I combined the words they gave me: flower, blind, clear and narrow.
Flower:
In Want of a Wife:
The tulips were not the only flowers to arrive. In the following days, without fail, a new bouquet arrived every morning from Laurence, each with its own meaning for her to decipher. First, there were purple hyacinths. They symbolised a plea for forgiveness. Then there was a bundle of rue. Repentance and regret. They were followed by yellow roses. They could mean many things - friendship, undying love, betrayal, a broken heart, or an apology. Cecily assumed he meant the latter. Bluebells meaning humility and gratitude. Amaryllises for pride, although she wasn’t sure if he meant her pride or his. Daffodils for new beginnings.
She’d started quite the collection of flowers in her room. It had seemed like such a waste to throw them out.
Blind:
A Flame in the Forest:
It was peasant practice to take the straw in the bedding and feed it to the stove each morning, with the straw bedding replaced anew. There wasn’t enough straw for that now, and what little straw they did have was used for the few livestock they had left. Those in the outer village were forced to use their own clothes for bedding, and burn dried manure or weeds instead, the putrid, foul smoke filling up the houses. Eventually you got used to the smell but the smoke was known to make the elderly and very young go blind, sometimes permanently.
Clear:
In Want of a Wife:
Cecily hastily dragged her eyes away from his thighs to look him in the eye. He gave no indication that he’d noticed her staring, but Laurence was a gentleman at heart and would never embarrass her by pointing it out. She could only hope he hadn’t noticed.
She glided forward, stretching out her hand for him to bow over.
“For you,” he said, handing over a daisy, clearly broken at the stem and not gently either.
“Did you steal this from someone’s garden?”
“Yes, I did. I hope you don’t mind trafficking in stolen goods.”
“It starts with flowers, next you’ll be asking me to hawk silverware, then I’ll be hoarding your stolen jewels.”
“I think we’d make excellent partners in crime"
Narrow:
A Flame in the Forest:
The further out of town they travelled the less clear the roads became, before they eventually happened upon a narrower part of the street where snow had been built up on both sides. A pathway through had been carved but it wasn’t wide enough for the sleigh to pass through.
“Alright, we’ve reached the end of the line,” Vladimir announced, taking on the mannerisms of a train conductor. “Please, exit the sleigh in an orderly fashion. Make sure to take all valuables with you and watch out for pickpockets. That means I’m watching you, Koka.”
Koka laughed at the absurd performance. Vladimir always had a knack for irreverence. You’d never believe they were on their way to a funeral.
Tagging @sleepy-night-child, @inkovert. Your words are mark, mistake, misery and midnight.

🤝 - 🙅 - 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 - 🛡️- 🏙️ for Tryphon Mistsail (HANDSOME....)
he says thank you for the compliment
Tumblr media
;)
🤝 What’s their opinion of other (playable) races?
Humans: His very best friend growing up was a human girl, a mute necromancer,  and was his co-captain. He is very fond of them even if for awhile they werent of him unless they were also a pirate. He likes to scare them sometimes. His one love is a human ad has a very deep soft spot for humans that do tolerate charr. He also, having grown up in a pirate crew that was so multicultural secretly worships the six that is..untill his feelings were pushed due to events in PoF. Still worships dwayna
Norn: Great fighters! great drinkers! He loves them. he feels short beside them sometimes though, even though tryphon is 10ft.
Asura: the asuran pirates hes met he loves! One of his best friends is an asura who believed in him and helped make the ship that he used when he got the resources. It was half airship half watership depending on where he wanted to go- the mists or the rest of tyria. As for non-pirate asura he thinks they are funny and likes to scare them however he has a lot of distrust in them and their ethics (ironic for a pirate)
Sylvari: He has a soft spot for sylvari as he helped free some from asura that wanted to experiment on them ages ago when they were recently discovered. he adores their colors and their curiosity and sense of humor =. many of his crewmates and closest links are sylvari because they stayed when he helped him.
charr arent included but im going to add a note anyway: with charr its complicated. He hates the organizing and he hates the anger and the wars! god he hated the war. He perfers to stay away from the black citadel and will only hang out at nareshes fahrar/home if he has to. He does however enjoy stealing from there... hes only been to the black citadel very recently (post mord death). He hates the air of the city though and hates how charr can be so mean to humans.. He does note however that, as much as he hates they are in a scummy area, it is one of the two cities that actually has homes for people outside of their own species... and he is amused by that. Did i say he hated the war he was pulled into due to the fact that he was considered a Blade warband member with a lot of talent that could help the war? well its made him more sour towards his own kind especially anyone who is dominion. Afterall he grew up in a vibrant multicultural setting!  but he loves naresh and the warband regardless
🙅 Who do they consider their enemy(ies)?
MMM a interesting question. He has a few being a pirate.... One obvious enemy is other pirates, especially ones that dont have the same ideals as he does. He hates human(tyrian?) trafficking and whenever he finds out another crew does that he will make sure if he runs into them he will destroy them. If your on his crew and he finds out he will brutally give you a slow death. On that note anyone involved in human trafficking he hates and has killed a few nonpirates for it
He hates poeople who are funding the mistwar anjd feels those funds can go to people who are starving and more in need and to actually finding a solution to keep the war from spilling into tyria instead of sending men to die in a battle where their body isnt even able to be laid to rest on tyrian soils. He has stolen battle supplies just to say fuck you to them, with the exception of needed medical supplies.  ironic considering his one boyfriend was employed in the mists as a medic.
When he was a cub he hated one of the crew mates that was close with the head captain and would abuse him behind his mothers back. Im not going to go into details but it was bad and its me putting down my own trauma that he never brings up anyway.  But hes dead and rightfully so. No one knows who the necromancer was that did it but whoever it was they got dead rats in the ship to eat him alive and tryphon soon left to form his own pirate crew after.
he has extremely strained ties with those at rata sum and lions arch where he is wanted in rata sum and *was* wanted in lions arch. He hates the inquest and had a knack for slipping things in his pocket  when he harbors there but thanks to his asuran second mate he has been able to skate past the majority of devices they have tried to keep the 10 ft charr down with. Lions arch is a tricky one... theres places hes absolutely welcomed, especially in some of the more shadier areas however he was wanted for the longest time for crimes and while he has paid his fines and used a lover to get him freed he....is still not welcomed by one other person and that is....
Evon gnashblade. Tryphon hates him. Evon hates him back. hundreds and thousands of gems worth of goods...stolen. gone. No matter the ways evon tries to keep tryphons grubby hands off them. Tryphon loves it though! People will buy these goods on the black market and and he gets the gold without feeling one single ounce of being bad...all of it isnt exactly needd items like food afterall. Want a mount license? here you go... This sword stolen from him? yup if you got the gold... Honestly evon is probably absolutely fucking thrilled velak has been keeping tryphon from stealing too much because his profits are staying where they should be. They think of each other as scum And would I draw them hate fucking? yes.
👨‍👩‍👦‍👦  Who is their birth family? Who is their chosen family?
He knew his mother and loved her very deeply till the day she died. He misses her.  He has no clue who his father is but he has the same teal eyes as he does, a blood legion soldier,  and is on the dominion side. as for chosen family its velak and naresh and their warband and they have even started to have cubs via using a warband mates potions to make velak into a charr and to play with gender. While tryphon isnt the one in this pic here is them as kids camping:
Tumblr media
You have the eldest, kalix who looks most like Velak with his brown mane, human like eyebrows and beard. He has tryphons soft grey fur and nareshes stripes. He is a gaurdian like velak and tryphon (pre-revenant. i have a headcanon that revenants can keep some of their previous powers) and deeply cares for his family and loves quite fully. He gets together with one of quints sons, Shattered summit
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Then there is the twins....
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Big hulking charr at 13ft like their grandfather and i designed their looks based off chinese stone lions. They arent the brightest but they have big hearts and have taken on to being mercinaries...well...kind of...mostly these jocky himbos just protect their youngest sister and party and eat a lot . They buddy up with quints youngest who is also massive and is also a jocky himbo
then he has his youngest, a smart little girl who is basically a were-charr where she is charr during certain times and human during othertimes (havent decided whether its by season or by moon yet lmfao) She is very smart and brilliant and is a cute calico charr because i wanted something that feels ‘domesticated’ and soft
Tumblr media
🛡️ Weapons? He loves his rapiers... I use the lord faren ones in game since they are beautifully ornate and suit the pirate.
🏙️ Major city?
thats a hard one... I would say the grove. He often goes there to see some of the sylvari he has saved but also its where he can rest easily without being arrested. He also doenst steal here and actually has his bank here. The second fav would be lions arch for reasons.. obviously because its the pirate capital and its where he makes his money. He also loves going to a burlesque club that he will throw money at two rose sylvari podmates that he helped free from inquest and he basically sees them like his own daughters if im honest lmfao. He is basically my robin hood complexed character

Luz’s mother really doesn’t want to send Luz to camp. She knows once she leaves, there is no going back. But Luz has a knack for getting into trouble, and one day she stumbles into the same type of people her mother would have preferred she avoided. After helping Luz dissolve her high school bully into dust, Eda and Lillith know right away that this kid is just like them - a child of the gods. So Luz hops on a Pegasus and heads to Camp Half-blood, where she embarks on a dangerous quest that makes her both friends and enemies... and she might even save Olympus along the way.
Chapter 1: I Steal My Bully's Necklace
“Get up, you freak!”
Luz coughed as she struggled to breathe after being thrown into the lockers. The wind had been knocked out of her and she already felt a lump forming on the back of her head where she had smacked it.
She was having the worst day at school, and that was saying something. Somehow, by some miracle, she had made it through the whole year at this one. But she had a terrible feeling that her luck wouldn’t last. Especially if the mean girl in her biology class wasn’t going to leave her alone.
She looked up to see the girl in question standing over her, grinning sadistically at her. She rubbed her hands together like some kind of mobster villain, her dog tag necklace hanging from her neck, and Luz fought the urge to roll her eyes. Lina had tormented her all year, and no matter what Luz did she couldn’t seem to shake her. Her dark amber eyes, (Luz swore sometimes they were almost red) were watching her like the next thing she would do to her was eat her. Her posse, two other girls her age, watched with their own small smiles.
She winced as she got to her feet, trying to control her anger. Terrible things happened when Luz got upset. She didn’t like this girl, but it wasn’t worth getting expelled over. Again.
This was Luz’s fifth school in twelve years. Ever since she started kindergarten, Luz was the problem child. She always managed to land herself into trouble, and she never really knew why. Half the time she hadn’t even done anything, weird things just seemed to happen to Luz. The other kids thought she was weird, so they never hung out with her, and so Luz had never really had any real friends. Teachers didn’t really like Luz either, her ADHD made learning really difficult, and so she always got bad grades. So when weird things would happen, the principal wouldn’t think twice. She would usually get expelled on the spot.
She didn’t want to get expelled again. Her Mami would be so disappointed in her. When Luz and her Mami had to move to New York City, her Mami had threatened her really good when they finally found a school that would take her.
“This is it, mija.” She had said. “I’m not doing this anymore. You either stay at this school and graduate or I’m sending you away to camp.”
That’s when Luz knew it was serious. Her Mami had not wanted to send her away to this camp. She had always threatened it when Luz was a little kid, but her Mami had never actually wanted to do it. She was stern, but Luz was all she had.
Besides, Luz never really understood why a summer camp would help straighten her out. If the military school she had gone to when she was ten was any indication, even they couldn’t get through to her.
Regardless, Luz wasn’t going to disappoint her Mami. So she got to her feet and did the first thing she could think to do.
She ran.
Breaking through the crowds of students who had been watching Lina bully her in the hallways, Luz ducked under the crowds and made a break for the staircase.
“Run, Luz Noceda!” Lina cackled as she fled. “Run from me!”
Anger flashed through Luz. She hated running. She wanted to stand and fight, to tell Lina off and get her to stop being a jerk. But she was outnumbered, and nobody would believe her anyway when something inevitably went wrong. It’s like her Mami said, “just keep your head low, Luz. Don’t engage, don’t fight back. Don’t give them a reason to punish you.”
So, despite the shame bubbling up in her chest, she kept running. She heard a commotion behind her, and Lina saying something to her friends before there was a cry of shock. And something that sounded strangely like hooves clamping along the tile.
Lina yelled something that definitely wasn’t English, but Luz understood it perfectly. Lina was following her, and the weirdness was starting again. She had to go before somebody blamed it on her.
Tearing down the stairs and pushing open the side exit to her school, Luz bolted down the alley she uses to get to the bus stop she takes home. It was her lunch period, so she’s hoping that by the time she gets back to school Lina will have long forgotten about her and she can get to her English class in one piece.
But then there’s a crash, and a furious scream from behind her and she realizes that Lina is following her. She begins to panic, picking up speed and darting into the new alley behind 94th street. There is a chain-link fence up ahead, and she breaks into a fresh sprint, launching her body up against it and over to the next street ahead.
Luz doesn’t know when she decided she wasn’t going back to school, but she knew that she needed to get away from Lina. She spared a glance back as she darted into the trafficked street, weaving through cars. Lina was still following her, her red eyes boring in fury into Luz’s back.
Luz gets onto the first bus she sees and fumbles for her MetroCard in her back pocket, slamming it down on the pad without looking back. She breaks for the back of the bus, crouching into an aisle seat and shrinking her whole body away from the window. She pulls the hood of her cat hoodie over her head, praying she wasn’t seen. The bus starts to move, thankfully without Lina on it, and Luz tries to let her body relax.
She zones out, wary of everyone getting on the bus. After some time, the realization that she doesn’t actually know where she’s going hits her like a truck. At the next stop, she gets up and darts off the bus, passing a quick thank you to the driver. When she steps out into the street, she realizes she has traveled all the way down to 34th street, and the Empire State Building is glaring down at her several blocks away.
Luz isn’t quite sure what to do now. She wasn’t going back to school today, that was for sure. Her Mami could be mad at her for skipping later. It was the end of the year, and Luz had unofficially made it all the way through.
Deciding she should celebrate, Luz walks around the city for a little while. Her Mami would never want her to wander off on her own, but she decided after the incident with Lina at school she deserved it. She remembers the awesome candy store her Mami took her to when they moved to the city, and pulls out her phone to punch Dylan’s Candy Bar into her maps.  It’s only 20 minutes away, so she begins the trek through the city, putting in her earbuds and shuffling her favorite anime playlist.
Once she’s inside and picks out five chocolate bars and a pack of lemonade gumballs. As she approaches the register, the girl working the counter likes Luz so much, she throws in an extra bar for free. Luz thanks her enthusiastically, and she pays with the money she was going to use for lunch. She leaves the store and sits, beginning to chow down on her snacks on the street curb outside, but her eyes are still wearily scanning the streets as through Lina might appear at any moment. As she does this, she catches sight of the two strangest looking women she’s ever seen.
They’re both middle-aged, the first with black hair and piercing green eyes. The second is a little taller, with huge silver-grey hair. But what catches her attention is that both women are wearing huge, cosplay style cloaks – white and maroon respectively.
The woman with the huge hair and maroon cloak has a strange bird on her shoulder. Luz thinks it might be an owl. Not only that but when she squints Luz is almost positive the one with the white cloak has a weapon strapped to her belt. Her mouth immediately drops, and she gets up off the curb just as the pair duck into an alleyway. Tucking the remaining three chocolate bars into her blue backpack, (which has miraculously stayed on through her whole fight with Lina) she weaves through the streets to follow them. Luz wonders to herself if there’s some kind of Comicon or other convention she was missing.
She sneaks through the alleyway, peering at the two behind a dumpster. They are talking in low voices, so Luz slowly creeps forward to listen in.
“- called us to Olympus, it must be serious, Edalyn.” The first one says lowly.
“Don’t sweat it, sissy. We’ve been called in by dad before. It’s probably just another one of those check in’s.” The second says, shrugging.
“You must feel it.” The first mutters urgently. “The tension between the gods is only going to grow from here.”
“We have to stay patient, Lilith.” The second woman, Edalyn, responds. “Of course I’ve felt it, but until we’re told to summon the Oracle-”
“There you are!”
Luz squeals dropping her gumballs all over the alley, spinning around the dumpster to come face to face with Lina. She is furious, her red eyes boring into her, and she snarls at her angrily. Luz shrieks, realizing that Lina’s mouth is stretching to expose a pair of vicious and sharp looking fangs.
There is a commotion from behind her as the two women have realized they have been overheard, and Luz begins to feel guilty for eavesdropping. But she doesn’t turn to look at them, she has bigger problems right now.
“I have been hunting you for months, Luz Noceda,” Lina growls, baring her fangs. “You will not escape me again!”
“Please!” Luz exclaims, holding up her hands. “I don’t want to hurt you!”
“Hurt me?” Lina laughs, taking a few menacing steps forward. “You cannot hurt me, little demigod. I will kill you before you get the chance!”
Before Luz can process anything that is happening, Lina shifts, her body changing rapidly. Her feet morph out of her tattered jeans into one metallic leg and one with hooves, and Luz can’t help but scream. Lina leaps at her and out of pure instinct, Luz rolls. Lina flies past her and Luz presses her back against the brick building behind her in terror.
“What are you?” She yelps, her whole body vibrating in horror.
“That’s an empousai, kid.” The woman with the red cloak says calmly, and when Luz turns her head, the two women are staring down Lina with disinterest. Luz can’t believe how calm they are.
“A what?”
And before Luz can pinch herself to make sure she isn’t dreaming, the dark-haired woman reaches under her cloaks and draws the weapon that shimmers the shiniest bronze Luz has ever seen. The blaze shifts and forms right in front of her eyes from a knife into an eight-foot sharp staff. The grey-haired woman plucks the bird off of her shoulder and it coos (Luz is certain now it’s an Owl) before the bird shifts into a seven-foot bronze tipped spear.
Lina the empousai, or whatever she is, hisses at the sight of the blade.
“Daughters of Zeus,” she says, trying to remain composed. But Luz has been bullied by Lina for months now, and she knows she looks nervous. “This is no business of yours.”
“Actually, I think this is our business.” The dark-haired witch, Lilith, says coldly. “Any half-blood we find is under our protection. What is a servant of Hecate doing hunting a child of the gods?”
Lina shuffles her legs – or…hoof and metal leg – and is now visibly nervous. Edalyn smirks, exposing a single gold tooth that sticks out like a fang.
“Unless… Hecate doesn’t know you’re here,” she singsongs, and Lina growls ferociously and lunges towards the woman.
“I will kill you before she ever finds out!” She roars, and both women sidestep from the lunge. Edalyn stabs with her spear, which Lina deflects off of her metal leg. Lilith swings with her staff, and Lina ducks. Luz has been forgotten, and she is shaking violently against the wall, trying to get a grip as to what the heck is even happening right now.
What did Lina call her? A demigod? The Lilith called her a half-blood… that was a really insulting insinuation for someone who was biracial, Luz thought. Besides, she wasn’t biracial, her Mami told her that her father had been a businessman visiting from Brazil. But those women… she had called them the daughters of Zeus?
Even if Luz was confused, she recognized what was happening. Those women had jumped to her aid despite Luz eavesdropping on them. These women were protecting her, even if she was a complete stranger. So despite her shaking body, and the fact that she was probably bordering an anxiety attack, she leaped in to help.
While Lina’s back was turned, Luz took a running leap and lunged, wrapping her arms around Lina’s neck and squeezing. Lina roared in frustration and did her best to shake her off, and Luz heard Edalyn cackling in the background.
“Alright! Get em’ kid.”
“Edalyn, focus!” Lilith snapped before she swung her own staff.
Lina tucked backward, but she wasn’t fast enough to totally dodge the blade, and it skimmed her stomach. She roared in pain and anger and finally knocked Luz away from her, and she went skidding across the ground. Coughing, Luz got to her feet and looked up at Lina’s stomach. The slice stretched across her stomach, but there was no blood. Instead, the slash seemed to be slowly dissolving her body. Lina looked down on it and hissed, glaring her red eyes up at Luz with absolute hatred.
She screamed again and charged at Luz, who scrambled backward in panic, but Lina never got closer. Edalyn spun her spear around her back and lunged, stabbing Lina right through the side. With a final scream, her whole body began to disintegrate into dust, before all that was left of her was a small pile of ashes and Lina’s dog tag necklace.
Spinning the spear, it shifted back into the owl which perches itself on Edalyn’s shoulder. Lilith spins her own staff, turning it back to a knife and clipping it to her belt. Luz was left staring at the pile of dust with a wide-eyed, and totally shocked expression. Her adrenaline was starting to fade, and it was beginning to change into full-blown panic.
“What just happened?” She said, but it came out as more of a breathy squeak. “Did we just kill her?"
Edalyn shrugged and held out her hand to help Luz up, which she took. “Yes, and no. Monsters don’t really die, they just return to Tartarus and wait to respawn.”
“They go where to do what?” This sentence was so high pitched she was surprised either of them heard it.
“Edalyn, give her a minute to process,” Lilith mumbled eying Luz like she was broken glass about to shatter.
“She doesn’t need to process, she’s probably been through it all by now.” She retorted with a roll of her eyes. Looking down at Luz with a knowing glint in her eyes, she pulled her to her feet and reached over to brush some of the dirt off her hoodie. “Let me guess, kid. You’re a bit of a problem child, always moving from place to place… weird things happen to you that nobody else can explain?”
Luz blinked. “Yeah, exactly like that. How’d you know?”
She laughed as if Luz had just said the funniest thing she’d ever heard. “Because we’re all like that. You’re an older one too, you’ve probably been on the monster's scent for a while. I don’t know how you possibly stayed alive without any help from camp.”
Luz felt a chill go up her spine. “Wait, camp? My Mami mentioned a camp… she always threatened to send me there if I didn’t straighten up…”
Edalyn and Lilith shared a look before they turned back to her.
“That monster said your name was Luz right?” Edalyn said, a little softer this time.
Luz nodded her head. “Yeah, that’s me. Luz Noceda.”
“I’m Eda, and this is my sister Lilith,” Eda said with a smile. “We’re the co-directors of Camp Half-blood.”
“Camp Half-Blood,” Luz said in a monotone voice. “Half what? I’m Latina.”
They shared another look.
“Half-blood doesn’t have anything to do with race,” Lilith said slowly. “It means people who are half-human, and half god.”
Luz’s mouth dropped open. She stared blankly between the two of them, not even sure what to say.
“God? Like…. Jesus?” she stuttered out, and Eda chuckled.
“No, like Greek God, kid. Half-bloods are kids with one human parent and one godly parent.” She reached under her cloak and pulled out a necklace that had been concealed previously. It had a gold pendant the shape of a thunderbolt. “Lily and I are sisters, but we have the same godly parent. Zeus.”
Luz’s brain began to finally work again, and she did her best to just try and process what she was saying. Nodding slowly, Luz does her best to recall her minimal knowledge of Greek deities she’s learned from books and movies.
“The god of the sky.” Luz nods, and Eda shrugs.
“Sure, among other things.”
Luz begins to pace, as she always does when her brain is moving too fast for her body. “Lina called me a demigod. Are you saying that my dad is a Greek God?”
“Well, that helps narrow down the possibilities,” Lilith said, keeping her voice calm and mellow. “A while ago the god’s made a promise to claim all of their children by the time they turn thirteen.”
“I’m fourteen,” Luz said. “Does that mean my dad forgot about me?”
“Nope, you just haven’t come to camp yet,” Eda said with a grin. “Most demigods come to Camp Half-Blood for training to defend themselves against monsters. The older you get, the stronger your scent is to them. You’re lucky you’ve been able to stay so inconspicuous for so long.”
Luz was suddenly presented with a lot of options for the first time in her life. Despite everything she had just learned, she wasn’t scared, or afraid. It actually made so much sense. All those terrible memories she could never explain, like the man with one eye who had tried to get her into his car when she was eleven. Or the women with leather wings who had watched her from the playground in first grade. All those weird things, that nobody had ever believed, finally clicked.
And sure, her Mami always told her not to trust strangers, but she figured this was a bit of an extenuating circumstance. Eda and Lilith were weird, but Luz liked it. She finally felt like she was seen and understood.
Plus, they had just killed her high school bully. She owed them one. Not that she needed much convincing anyways on what she wanted to do next.
“Will you take me?” Luz asked quietly, looking up at them slowly. “I mean... if you aren’t too busy or anything?”
Eda and Lilith shot each other a little smile, before nodding.
“Sure kid, we did have a meeting at Olympus, but Lily can go in my place.”
“It’s our job to make sure demigods get there safely, it’s our first priority,” Lilith added, clasping her hands together. “Edalyn, do you have your Pegasus whistle?”
“Oh yeah, I’ve got that here somewhere…” Eda mumbled, digging through her cloak pockets. Luz was still trying to fathom the fact that they had a meeting at the actual Mount Olympus when Eda pulled out a little bronze whistle and blew it into the sky.
After a second, there was a swooshing sound coming from above us, and the most beautiful horse Luz had ever seen glided down in the alley. It was a pure white horse with gorgeous wings that it tucked back into its sides as it came to a stop next to Eda.
“Oh wow!” Luz said in awe, and the Pegasus snorted almost bashfully.
Lilith walked over to the pile of dust that was once Luz’s bully and picked up the dog tag necklace still lying on the ground. She handed it to Luz, who took it hesitantly.
“It’s a spoil of war,” Lilith explained, giving Luz a small smile. “Your first kill as a half-blood.”
Luz didn’t really want it, she didn’t have the fondest memories of Lina. But she didn’t understand a lot of this half-blood stuff yet and wasn’t going to start by refusing Lilith.
“Err… thanks.” She ended up saying, and thankfully, Lilith laughed.
Eda leaped over the horses back, extending a hand to Luz. “Well? Are you coming?”
Luz hesitated for only a second. She thought about her mom back home, and how she was going to be wondering in a couple of hours why she wasn’t home from school. But she quickly pushed it down as she thought about what awaited her. She could call her when she got to camp.
Throwing the necklace over her shoulders and taking Eda’s hand, the women helped Luz sit behind her on the horse. Waving goodbye to Lilith with the promise to see her later at camp, Eda urged the Pegasus into a run down the alleyway. The horse began to pick up speed as they almost hit the busy street, before it leaped into the air, taking flight. Luz whooped in glee, feeling the wind blow through her face as she gripped the back of Eda’s cloak.
She looked down at the busy moving streets in Manhattan and realized with the confusion that nobody seemed to be looking twice at them.
“If I saw something as cool as this, I would have stared,” Luz mumbled to herself, almost offended nobody thought this was as awesome as she did.
She heard Eda laugh, and Luz’s cheeks flushed red. She hadn’t meant to be overheard.
“Mortals don’t see things the way we do. There’s a layer that covers their eyes from seeing our world. We call it the Mist.”
Soon, the Pegasus had left Manhattan, and the pair were flying over Queens. The view, while still being amazing, was starting to not be enough to keep Luz’s thoughts at bay. Turning to Eda, she realized she still had so many questions. Her eyes trained onto the little owl tucked onto Eda’s shoulder. Now that she’s looking at him, she realizes he looks 100% real. He coos softly into Eda and blinks it’s gold eyes brightly at her in a way that looks friendly.
“Owlbert is waiting for you to pet him,” Eda comments offhandedly, and Luz jumps back as though she was shocked.
“Owlbert?” She repeats back, and Eda nods her head. Taking that as enough encouragement, Luz hesitantly reaches forward and tickles the owl's tummy. He feels soft and warm, just like a real tiny owl. When she strokes him, he coos again happily.
“Owlbert's both a great weapon and a great companion,” Eda says with a smile, shooting Luz a wink. “A gift from a goddess after I helped her on a quest when I was just a little older than you.”
Luz lets herself process that information.
“My Mami said she didn’t want to send me to camp,” she eventually says, as though it’s some scandalous secret. “If it’s supposed to be a safe place for people like me… why wouldn’t she want me there?”
Eda hummed, and Luz picked up that Eda had been wondering the same thing. “Some parents want to protect their kids from this world. It’s dangerous, and the less you know the safer you are. That’s probably why you’ve been able to evade monsters like the empousai.”
“Lilith said the empousai was a servant of Hecate,” Luz commented, leaning over to look at Eda’s face. Her gold eyes were looking back at her playfully. “If my dad is a god, why would another god’s servant attack me?”
“Gods have been around much longer than us, Luz,” Eda said with a shrug. “They have a history that precedes any of us. Maybe your dad angered Hecate at some point.”
“But she looked scared when you said Hecate didn’t know she was there,” Luz pointed out, and Eda broke into a grin.
“You’re smarter than you look, kid. And I can’t say for sure why she was there, but a lot of weird stuff has been going on in our world recently.” She hummed thoughtfully, turning her eyes to look ahead once again. “Lily thinks it’s the reason we were called to Olympus. Your monster friend might have something to do with it.”
“She’s not my friend.” Luz retorted, biting her lip. “I don’t have any friends. People at school don’t like me.”
“You’re not the only weirdo out there,” Eda said, shrugging her shoulders. “None of us at camp fit in with the other mortals. That’s why Lily and I work so hard to keep the camp safe. Us weirdo’s have to stick together, you know? Camp Half-blood is our home.”
Luz felt her heart warm up at that, and she broke into a smile of her own. She liked the thought of that, being with people just like her in a place that genuinely felt like home. She had moved around so much, and been outcasted by so many kids her age, she had never known what that truly felt like. All she had was her Mami.
After the Pegasus left Queens, Luz wasn’t really sure where she was or where they were heading. But soon the smell of saltwater began to fill her nose, and Eda perked up in front of her.
“We’re close now. The camp is near Long Island Sound. Get ready to descend.”
Luz peaked over Eda’s shoulder, her stomach flipping in both nervousness and excitement. Eventually, the Pegasus swooped into a downward glide, and Luz got her first glimpse of the camp.
There were camp cabins stretched across what looked like a pavilion and a beach where she could see a few canoes. It looked like people eventually caught sight of the Pegasus, and when they saw Eda, they waved up at them. Most of the campers she saw were wearing orange t-shirts, and Luz noticed that a lot of them had some kind of weapon strapped to their belts.
Finally, the Pegasus touched down on a grassy field, and Luz could see a huge house with sky blue sliding sitting on top of a hill surrounded by strawberry fields. Luz breathed in a gasp. The place was beautiful.
Eda leaped off the Pegasus, and a crowd began to gather around them. Luz began to feel anxiety at the number of eyes staring at them, but then Eda extended a hand to her, shooting her a warm and excited smile.
“We're here, Luz. Welcome to Camp Half-Blood.”

Wanted Ad
CW: sex work, coercion, human trafficking, drug use/addiction
If you’re in the right circles in Alderhelm, you’ve heard about the good time to be had at the Beachwood Yacht Club. The liquor runs generous and the girls are beautiful. Come to party and more. The crowd that finds their way to this particular business establishment varies from the sons of well off families (and their fathers), to the drug dealers who know they can get an easy sell here.
But like so much in Alderhelm, there’s more than meets the eye. Managed by some of the Sons of Sea Alum, a prostitution ring out of the yacht club runs on fear and control. The poor souls who get trapped in this web find no easy escape. Whether they get pulled in by promises, drugs, loans with hefty interest rates or more often, combination of all three, the more they struggle the deeper they go. Leaving is an option only in the theoretical sense because the ring demands a sacrifice of funds too high for most its workers. The pay is bad after being gouged by those at the top.
While from the outside it looks like all fun and games, a nightmare rages within.
This ad is for some of the members of the local prostitution ring. The faces and some of the ages are flexible. This ad is open to original characters as well! (For all levels.)
Feel free to DM with questions/thoughts/reserves or hmu on discord (mady#5462).
TOP DOG 50s - Reserved for Mira
A proud 91’ graduate of Alderhelm College and Sons of the Sea Alum and President of the Alum charter, TOP DOG  has always a knack for less than legal enterprises. His family gained their money with oil and real estate, both fronts he still has his hands in. He’s been involved in more unsavory endeavours for about as long as he can remember. The crown jewel of these being his prostitution organization. A keen business man with an eye for beauty, he has protected the ring from law enforcement involvement and has ruled it with cruel precision. It doesn’t matter he’s married with daughters, he sees the sex workers as tools for his wealth and treats them as such. Known for showing up at the operation on the docks without warning, everyone beneath him has a healthy fear.
Suggested FC: Javier Bardem
SECOND 41 - Reserved for Wanda
TOP DOG and SECOND met through a Sons of the Sea event when SECOND was still in school but unlike TOP DOG, SECOND was on scholarship. He spent many a night after that on the yachts with TOP DOG’s  girls. Burdened by student debt, he tried to make a legit living before he eventually gave into TOP DOG’s offer to make a little more. SECOND  handles the books for the ring and is also a member of the Sons of the Sea alum charter. He’s looked into the depths of depravity and decided he’s fine with it if it gets him the life he believes he deserves. When he was 24, he and a friend caught a teenaged Elena Martinez spray painting yachts in the marina and propositioned her in exchange for their silence. He’s about to be (un)pleasantly surprised to find she’s back as a federal detective and that she definitely has not forgotten him.
Suggested FC: Jaime Dornan
MAMA Late 30s - Open
Long time favorite of TOP DOG. MAMA has done just about everything to get where she is. Starting off as just another one of the girls, MAMA worked her charm and wits on TOP DOG and got his attention. Maybe she once thought he’d leave his wife for her if she was good enough for him but such illusions are long gone. She’s cut throat but fair and will stand up for the girls to anyone but TOP DOG. Despite a devil may care attitude, she knows her position is precarious and she won’t go down without a fight. Although she’s done with the game she makes an exception for TOP DOG who’s  somewhere between client, boss, lover and friend. She’s all too aware that she’s had as big a hand in running things as SECOND, if not more. Throws a mean punch but if her girls, as she calls them, do good work for her, she’ll do what she can for them.
Suggested FC: Erin Wasson
SECURITY 1 30s - Open
A high school dropout, SECURITY 1  was about as far from the Sons of the Sea as you could be until MAMA saw him in a bar fight and convinced TOP DOG to take him on as security. SECURITY 1 is effective if nothing else. He knows the girls talk shit about him behind his back and takes pride in their hate for him. He gets along with SECURITY 2  but think’s the man’s heart is weak and understands that their role is just as much about keeping the girls trapped in this world as keeping them “safe.” Also works security at the Casino. SECURITY 1  is an opportunistic first and foremost and is just waiting for a better opportunity to come along.
Suggested FC: Rami Malek
SECURITY 2 30s - Open
SECURITY 2  fell in with TOP DOG  like so many women before him. He took out a loan to help cover some family bills in exchange for working security for the yachts. Little did he know when he took the money that what would be happening on those yachts. SECURITY 2  almost quit the first night but with a hand on his jaw, TOP DOG  reminded them of their deal. Having done his fair share of fighting in high school, he was well equipped physically and has had to push his misgivings down. But two years later and his loan has barely diminished and he’s feeling further from freedom than he’s ever been. Even if he can’t get himself out, he’s been covering for WORKER 1 out since he’s learned she’s trying to get out of town and past TOP DOG’S reach.
Suggested FC: Scott Neslage
WORKER 1 Mid-Late 20s - Reserved for Che
WORKER 1 has a secret trapping her in TOP DOG’S web. One he’s used against her for years to keep her in his clutches. Fed up but unwilling to face the consequences if TOP DOG were to bring her secret to life, WORKER 1 is working side jobs whenever she can to save up enough money to get herself out of Alderhelm and far away TOP DOG and his friends. More recently, TOP DOG has started stealing directly from SECOND and TOP DOG directly. SECOND catching wise to the missing funds but WORKER 1 is willing to risk almost anything to get out of this life, including reluctantly trusting SECURITY 2  after he caught her stealing.
Suggested FC: Pooja Mor
WORKER 2 25 - Reserved for Mady
An Alderhelm native, WORKER 2’S father was the old lighthouse keeper. Always running with the wrong type of people, WORKER 2  got hooked on drugs young and owed too many dealers to count when TOP DOG  found her. He offered her a generous loan if she would come work for him. Desperate, WORKER 2 has been trapped since. The interest on her loan keeps building and WORKER 2 has lost sight of freedom,  especially after her boyfriend was found drowned. TOP DOG  has a soft spot for her which cuts both ways and has caught MAMA’S attention, putting a bit of a target on WORKER 2’s back.
Suggested FC: Josephine Skriver
WORKER 3 Early to mid 20s - Open
Recruited by SECOND and MAMA, WORKER 3  is the newest recruit to the ring. For her, it looked like salvation and a life on the yachts with obnoxious rich men and boys still feels better than the horror she left. WORKER 3 believes she’s in control and her drive has made her a quick favorite of MAMA. WORKER 3 hasn’t decided yet where her loyalty lands, with the women she’s working with or MAMA, SECOND and TOP DOG.. But she’s a master of getting people to trust her and will let everyone believe she’s on their side until she makes a decision.
Suggested FC: Aya Jones

Cool Outlaw Facts I just came up with
-The large pocket on her cool leather jacket and the inner pocket on her vest are, inexplicably, connected to a little pocket dimension she can store stuff in. She has no idea how this happened but isn’t going to complain. Leads to many comedy moments of her dumping out her coat trying to find something and all sorts of things that have no business fitting in a coat pocket spill out. Still, she only ever manages to use it for fairly mundane purposes and rarely finds anything useful in there.
-She occasionally sleepwalks, but didn’t know about this until she started living with the mercs. Living alone, she never picked up on it. If she woke up somewhere slightly different in the house, eh, she can sleep anywhere, probably just dozed off. Upon learning this, she’s honestly just surprised it’s never happened while she’s out camping in the desert, cause that sounds like a good way to end up dead in a ditch.
-She’s completely lost track of when her birthday is, and has no actual way to figure out when it was (no birth certificate and all). Doesn’t bother her much, but when the mercs find out there definitely isn’t a fluffy bit where they declare it her birthday and sure do attempt to throw a party, that goes about as well as you’d expect. Not at all.
-Has a steadily-growing army of pet cacti, all of which are living in things that are not definitionally flowerpots but fit the bill close enough. If there’s a vessel that’ll hold dirt, she’ll probably steal it to be a future cactus house. Sure they’re easy to grow, but she does have a knack with the little things for some reason. Also attempting to grow peppers, with mixed results (see: “The Doombringer Incident”, coming soon)
-Not a ‘new’ Outlaw fact, but the closest thing she presently has to family is a weathered old badass hispanic grandma known only as Mamacita/Mama. She lives in the mountains and grows peppers, tobacco and weed, makes phenomenal food she’ll serve to anyone who can actually find her, and also deals in weapons and information trafficking (not as much as she used to back in the Good Days before Mann Co. moved in on her turf, but she doesn’t mind as much at her age. Death before retirement, though). She mother-hens Outlaw as best she can manage, and will refuses to take a cent of payment for anything she gives her.

Hey folks! So I am officially giving up on anything fancy for an intro like in the past because I’m now a lazy mofo so here’s Kellan’s quick and dirty overview – lmk if you wanna plot.it.up!
Name: Kellan Andrew Sloan
Hometown: Boston (I won’t be writing out his accent LMAo but we’ll just say he def has one)
Family: Liam Sloan (father/deceased), Keith (older brother), siblings (names tbd), Madelaine (niece)
Job: Chef/Drug Trafficker/former thief
bio:
Kellan Sloan grew up in Boston with a big family and was one of the youngest of his siblings. He was never the most popular, always a bit of an awkward boi, a bit soft and definitely tripping over himself.
He was a bit of a class clown, always enjoyed making friends and making people laugh – he was good at both and that helped his confidence as he got older. He always looked up to Keith though, who kept their family going for as long as he could when their dad died.
When they started going their own way, Kellan wasn’t sure what he’d be good at and decided he may as well try his hand in the kitchen. He knew he had to find ways to support himself. It wasn’t that their family didn’t love each other but it soon became easier for them all to strike out on their own rather than try to take care of a big family.
He managed to get into culinary school which was as much a surprise to him as anyone he knew considering he’d never been particularly gifted academically but he did alright. No Gordon Ramsey or Jamie Oliver but he managed.
At the same time, as a kid and as he got older, Kellan developed a knack for nabbing things that weren’t his. He was able to procure things no one else could – priceless jewelry, pieces of art, rare artifacts, and no one ever looked at him. Who’d think that the chef running the kitchen of a fancy hotel or restaurant was also clocking the guests from the door, looking up who’d ordered $1,000 worth of food for lunch at table 24 or who’d ordered the $500 bottle of wine at table 15 after they closed up.
Of course, talent only goes so far when you’re reckless and when he absconded away with a priceless painting from the son of someone who turned out to be a Boston based mobster –– he got the hell out of dodge.
He didn’t have anywhere to go and with family all over, he picked a place on the map and went to Grimmbrook where his older brother Keith was with his daughter.
He arrived in January and has been working at the Royal Flush since. He still keeps up his antics but has laid low in terms of stealing more than a piece of fine jewelry or watch here or there. He’s not looking to lose his neck and drug trafficking has kept him more than a little busy along with his “legit” job as a chef at the Royal Flush.
headcanons
Loves food. Loves talking about food. Loves cooking food. Loves eating food. Dreams about food. Lives food. Is food. Food.
Is afraid of cats but in a low-key will hiss at one back if he sees it on the street or will squeal if someone has one but didn’t tell him. The result of a bad encounter with a stray that had him SHOOK back in Boston. Those no good trouble makin felines!
Tap dances. A girlfriend back in Boston was obsessed and ever eager to please, he took it up and was pretty fire on them tap shoes.
Is usually casing anywhere he goes out of habit. Usually looks like he’s zoned out and he lets it go because sometimes he actually legitimately zones out so it’s a valid excuse.
Loves love. Literally falls for the first pretty face who smiles at him. Big on gestures. Is bi but has recently just had a string of girlfriends, though he’s had boyfriends before.
A health nut in terms of physical activity, loves the gym. All about them gains. When he gets onto a fitness trend, it’s near impossible to get him off it.
Thinks stand up comedy is hilarious, literally anyone on stage gets his respect and he’s always suggesting you watch a new one.
connections
Gym friends
Exes (from Boston or Grimmbrook – he goes through relationships fast so even from January someone could’ve dated him for a month LOL)
Jogging buddy (he convinced them somehow to meet up at 6am every day and they don’t know why they keep going other than Kellan’s actually pretty encouraging and not a bad running partner, if only he didn’t talk so much!)
We can work out details but someone Kellan ended up cooking for out of the blue and now they have a routine night where he makes a new out-there creation that turns out to be pretty damn good!
Other – open to most anything tbh! just HMU and we’ll work something out :)

The Bounty Hunter
Back in home in Gettons & Yaduru (in Kasu-Kasu City, specifically), Baaba Owusu was an up-and-coming detective. She had recently come off a big solve, and was put in charge of a special task force as a promotion. The task force was created to investigate allegations of a high-profile human trafficking ring.
According to whistle-blowers, Members of the Joint Parliament of Gettons & Yaduru were stealing/kidnapping children from native Pagatowar families, specifically residents of the Palatamco Reservation (home to the Bent-Leg Creek Tribe), located in Todd, a rural territory in south Gettons.
The Pagatowar of Palatamco (Rebekah says: this is pronounced as either pah-lat-ah-em-co or pah-lah-tam-co depending on east/west dialect variations between the people of Gettons & Yaduru) were known for their (relatively) high birth rates of children with the Lamott-Lowrie Gene, more crudely called “Human Familiars.”
Lamott-Lowrie babies are people born with the ability to "harness” raw viv without the use of refining Ley Lines. They are incapable of wielding magic on their own, but they can "boost" the magic performed by a partner Wielder (or Wielders) by "lending” the viv they naturally collect.
In the not-so-distant past, those with the Lamott-Lowrie gene were treated as subhuman. They were called Familiars and kept as "human pets," working as slaves for their Wielder owners. Progress was made and Familiars liberated, their "keeping" officially outlawed with Jenny's Law (named for the Human Familiar whose case helped get protections passed, Governor Borscheid named Nona “Jenny” on purpose as a twisted reference to the law specifically meant to protect children like her).
Though illegal, that has not stopped some Wielders from seeking out Lamott-Lowrie children. Among the traffickers, there is an erroneous belief that if taken from their parents early, Familiar children will "imprint" on their “owner.” Imprinting will make the Familiar loyal and also increase the power of the viv they lend.
Owusu and her task force investigated claims that Senators from the Joint Parliament had been traveling to Palatamco (and other reservations) under the pretext of "Reconciliation Projects," in which they chose impoverished/at risk children to adopt/sponsor. In actuality, these Reconciliation projects were scouting trips. The Senators picked out children with the Lamott-Lowire gene and took them from their families without permission or warning. The children were just gone.
They were dubbed the "Lost Children" by the Gettons & Yaduru media, but Owusu and her task force referred to them as Stolen. The Pagatowar called them Nishnona-yeoc, which literally translates to “Nameless person.”
The naming of children has a lot of cultural significance in Pagatowar society. On their tenth birthday, Pagatowar children participate in a Naming ceremony called Nishwa-télën in which they essentially name themselves, announcing who they are to the tribe. Once Pagatowar people name themselves, their name cannot be changed by anyone but themselves - their True Name cannot be changed, not their parents, their peers, other members of the tribe, or by Outsiders (Karstlanders).
The only way it can change is if the person in question commits a terrible/violent crime, at which point their name is taken away and they are known only as Nishwanona. It is considered the highest disgrace to be Nishwanona.
When the Senators took Lamott-Lowrie children from their Reservation, they purposefully did it before their tenth birthdays so that the kids could not participate in Nishwa-télën and name themselves/develop a Pagatowar identity.
Owusu and her team worked relentlessly to break the case. They even managed to recover a few of the (older) Stolen Children. The turning point for Owusu came when she and her men freed several children. When she asked them their names, the Stolen called themselves Nishwanona. From a young age, Pagatowar children are taught about the importance/significance of Nishwa-télën. But because they had been taken from their people, they never got to participate in the Naming Rite. It was the deepest expression of shame and grief to call themselves Nishwanona.
Owusu was livid/heart-broken for these children, and equally furious that no matter what she did, her task force couldn’t ever pin anything on the suspected Senators. There were too many cover-ups, loopholes, bribes, too many “yes men” willing to take the wrap for their boss.
Again and again, cases were thrown out against the senators because evidence  was ruled “circumstantial.”
So Owusu made a decision: she falsified evidence in order to force the case to trial.
She wanted a conviction (instead of a fine/slap on the wrist) for the Senators. She didn’t care about the letter of the law anymore, she wanted justice. Helping those kids mattered more to her than anything else.
Her falsified evidence was convincing enough that for the first time, the case looked like it might go to trial…but then one of Owusu's associates (who was jealous that she had been appointed to lead the task force instead of him) exposed Owusu. In a matter of six months, Owusu was charged, convicted, and sentenced.
The case against the Senators was thrown out for good, and the task force permanently disbanded. And so Owusu was on her way to Meteoria, the land of Monsters. But far worse for her was the knowledge that her tampering had not only not helped, but made everything worse. The investigation was delayed/shelved indefinitely. She had completely and utterly failed those kids.
On the ship to Meteoria, Owusu added Alice to her name, so that she was Alice Baaba Owusu. She didn’t want her true name in the mouths of her “owners.”
At Hipplethwaite, her “labor” was (first) bought by a cruel man who wanted something to beat on. Under his ownership, she suffered greatly. During one violent outburst, her owner beat her so severely that it opened gaping, defensive wounds on her arms. Her left (dominant) took the worst of it and was flayed to the bone. The wounds got infected and her owner sent her off to die in a prisoners’ hospital.
She ended up losing her arm, and also nearly died from sepsis. It was in hospital that Alice met a Durukan (a descendant of one of the Da-rai tribes of Yaduru) missionary named Silas Asenso. Silas had originally come from Yaduru to help advocate for prisoners’ rights in Meteoria. They chatted for a bit and Owusu was delighted to learn that Silas’s hometown was Kasu-Kasu, just like her. They bonded over memories of the city, specifically the sweet rolls (called nana buns) which were sold at the central market in Yasu-Yasu every first Saturday of the month.
Working with Silas, Owusu managed to get placed at Second-Chance Ranch, located just outside Crossings. Second-Chance ranch was run by Silas’s fellow missionaries. Their mission was focused on rehabilitation and lawful re-entry into society for emancipated prisoners.
The missionaries of Second-Chance bought out prisoner contracts in mass, and then put them to work as ranch hands. At the end of their sentence, and upon their emancipation, the Prisoners were given small parcels of the ranch’s land. That way, they could use the skills they’d learned while prisoners to make a life for themselves as emancipated settlers.
The work was demanding, but the workers were well treated. Owusu even came to discover that she had a knack/appreciation for bee-keeping.
Silas lived at the Ranch when she wasn’t out doing mission work. She visited Owusu out in the fields often, to bring her water and homemade nana buns (which weren’t all that good because Silas was a shitty cook, but Owusu ate them anyway). Owusu developed a bit of a crush. One day, after one of Silas's visits, Owusu point blank asked her on a date…in two years' time, when she would be emancipated. Silas (pretended) to weigh the ethical implications of dating someone she’d “mission-worked.” Owusu teased and Silas happily agreed.
Two years passed, and the second Owusu’s Ink went dark (sign of emancipation/fulfillment of sentence), Silas was there to take her on a date. They went to get nana rolls (better ones than what Silas dished up). The date was a success, and so they went on another, and another, and then a few more, and four years later they were married.
Together, they worked the small bit of farmland that Owusu had received as part of her “emancipation package” from the Ranch. Owusu even managed to keep bees and pick back up some Stringent Magic, which she hadn’t practiced since her days on the force.
Silas experimented with potions and "kitchen witchin'". She was mostly awful at it. She occasionally did some mission work, but was away from home less and less often. Silas was ready to settle down with Owusu, and to live a “stable” life.
And against all odds, it was a stable life. Heck, it was even a good life.
They made homemade nana buns. Owusu joked that she’d had to get arrested to find a wife, and Silas teased that nowadays, she was doing more missionary position than missionary work (hands down Owusu’s favorite joke).
Their life was together was surprisingly normal, and to Owusu's amazement, she was happy. When she'd been sentenced, she had resigned herself to a short and miserable life. She expected (and accepted) that the only thing she’d feel for the rest of her life was guilt. But then she’d met Silas, and found work and refuge at the Ranch, and then even a little bit of domesticity...and even though it wasn't the life she’d imagined, it was the life she wanted.
Then, two years later, Owusu was widowed.
One summer evening, police from Port Grace came knocking. They had an arrest warrant for a member of The Coalition for Prisoner' Rights  (a group of freedom fighters working to improve life for prisoner-workers through uncivil disobedience). The fugitive in question was one Efia Arusei, alias Silas Asenso, and she was hereby accused of committing terrorist acts, inciting violence, recklessly endangering the public, and committing treasonous acts against the government of Meteoria and the Karstland Kings.
 Uh-oh.
Silas Asenso (whose real name was apparently Efia Arusei) had been on the run from Port Grace authorities when she'd sought asylum at Second-Chance Ranch. Somehow, she’s never bothered to mention any of this to Owusu, her fucking wife.
Silas/Efia was arrested on the spot, and taken away, leaving behind a gobsmacked and heartbroken Owusu, who knew that her wife would not be spared the death penalty. People like her were to be made an example of.
In the fallout from this, Owusu shut down. She went back into her shell and once again took up the name Alice. She left her little farm and went to Port Grace (on the off chance that she might see Silas/Efia again - despite everything, she couldn’t hate her) as a bounty hunter, using her (objectively) impressive set of skills to hunt down runaway prisoners and return them to their owners for cash.
She took no mercy, accepted no sob story, just tagged and bagged ‘em. She lived to work, just as she once had back on the force in Kasu-Kasu. But this time justice was not her objective…she didn’t have one. Money to get by, money for liquor, money for rent. That’s all “Alice” cared about. Baaba had cared about justice and look where it got her. Owusu had cared about Asenso (or Arusei or whatever Efia’s name was) and look where it got her. So now she was just Alice, Just Alice who did nothing but take up space and put down runaways.
She no principles, no problems, no purpose.
Then she meets a girl in a dumpster...a girl who calls herself Nishwanona.
****************************************************************************************
 Abbreviated Timeline:
·       Detective at 35
·       Sentenced at 36
·       Emancipated at 43
·       Married at 47
·       Widowed at 50
·       Gauntlet Runner at 56
Abilities: Owusu is a practitioner of the Stringent Magics, mathemagical principles that allow her to use vectors to write Sigils for weapons’ precision/accuracy, as well as to create pocket dimensions.
With a bit of back alley tinkering, Owusu got her left arm fit with a prosthetic that doubled a Summoning device  i.e. she can “summon” a loaded gun into her prosthetic hand essentially out of thin air.
All her weapons are Marked with her handwritten vectors/sigils (Owusu is HIGHLY insulted when Nona asks why there’s “scratches” all over her gun). Owusu is a dead shot, and a bit of a gunslinger. She also uses Stringent Magic to open pocket dimensions. She’s basically a walking armory, with all kinds of guns/weapons and every kind of ammo at her disposal.
World-building note: As an Emancipated-Prisoner, Owusu is not allowed unlimited access to Ley-Line/refined magic. She’s doesn’t have the Lamott-Lowrie gene so she can’t use viv. She gets “vouchers” every month that allow her to use a certain amount of Magic/magical energy. If her voucher runs out she’s shit outta luck. When prisoners (emancipated or otherwise) enter the Gauntlet they are granted Unlimited access to Ley Magic. Governor Borscheid is desperate (besides there’s no actual shortage of magic, no reason for it to be limited or rationed, it’s just another way to belittle/handicap prisoners and to punish them even after their Ink goes dark).

Kyungsun Lee
Male || 24 || 6′5″ || Sandbender
Kyungsun Lee, or Sun as he often likes to be called, is 24 years old, as well as albino, a charming, feminine looking fella with long, silky white hair and soft pinkish blue eyes.
He was adopted into the Desert Colonies when he was too young to know where he came from, and with them he learned the arts of trade and Sandbending, even finding he had a knack for bending crystal to his whims. At the age of 15 he decided he wanted to see the world, and went on his own way to do so. His first destination was to the Earth Kingdoms, but on his way there, as a vulnerable and naive lone traveler, he found himself captured by human traffickers who put him to work in a set of dangerous mines in the Earth Kingdom. His time there was horrific and he prefers not to speak about it, but at the age of 17 he managed Earthbending for the first time under a moment of extreme stress, managing to bury the owner of the mines, as well as the guards, under several feet of rock from the cavern roof, which allowed everyone there, including himself, to escape. He hasn’t managed this sort of earthbending again since then, he keeps practicing though, carrying around a small bag of stones which he uses to try and bend the rocks like he does other forms of Earth, though without the stress he finds it difficult to get more than a slight quiver out of them.
Due to the trauma of being trapped in the mines for two years of his life, Sun makes a point of keeping himself as quiet as possible. He resumed his travels after escaping the mines, and now made a point to claim himself a nonbender in the presence of strangers to make himself seem as though he matters less. He tried picking up work in various small towns, but found that this sort of work was only temporary, as two towns he had taken brief residency in had been taken over by the fire nation. So, instead of starting a new life that would only be broken, he decided to keep on his feet, moving from town to town to make money through theft. The rich don’t matter, their money is stolen from those that work harder than them anyhow, there’s no harm in taking from them to give to himself, as well as to others who need it to preserve their own freedom and lives, he has enough to share, so he does. Wherever he can, he spreads the wealth he stole, everyone deserves a better chance. He has enough charisma for three people, and finds himself to be a skilled charmer. Where he fails to do most things, he makes up for it with a pretty face and an all too smooth voice.
He travels the world on his Giant Bunnymink, a beautiful beast with the softest possible fur which has to be sheared every Spring and Summer, then left to grow out in the Autumn for the colder seasons. Her name is Penelope, he originally bought her as he was told she would do well for digging holes to make camp in so he wouldn’t have to be out in the open, it’s easier to hide when you blend into the scenery. She also does well for fast movement, carrying supplies, and swimming across smaller bodies of water such as lakes and rivers, or small stretches of ocean such as between islands. He often camps out within nature, and likes to forage for his own food in the wild, he especially loves picking wild mushrooms for himself to cook, while finding various plants and vegetation for Penelope.
At the age of 20, he was banned from Omashu after an incident regarding a group of girlscouts who guilted him into giving them all his money twice, and the various thefts he had to perform in order to get that money back, he just couldn’t say no to them, those fake tears were really on point and they told him they were saving up for a trip to Ba Sing Se, he can’t say no to a sad kid even if it is fake. He fully believes he can go back to Omashu in the future with a good enough disguise. Thankfully for him, he’s very good at disguises. He tends to steal clothes when he breaks into homes so he can use them later if need be. Sadly, he himself is very recognizable due to his height and coloration, which can be a problem.
Now at the age of 24, it has been nine years since he left his home in the desert colonies to see the world. While a lot of it has been stressful and terrifying, he feels he’s learned a lot, and he wants to make time eventually to see more of what there is. He wants to visit the air temples and see the hidden places of the world where few often travel. He continues to try and learn Earthbending with all he has in him, he wants a rounded ability in his bending so that he can handle himself in the wild more often than not. His dream is to someday settle down and open a bakery somewhere beautiful where he can sell his baked goods, he makes a buttercream icing so good it could make a grown man cry, but he doubts he’d be able to, considering the state of the world. So for now, he’s going around the world in disguise after disguise, stealing from the rich, and giving the earnings back to the poor including himself so that hopefully he can make the world a bit of a better place.  He continues to try his best to learn Earthbending despite his difficulties, and he continues to try and play his on part in making the world less sad for the poor and those in need.
He still has a pretty impressive supply of the rock candy he bought from those girlscouts by the way. He’s also never paid taxes in his life.
