Tags

I didn't see a place to put a list of tags yet, but so far I'm thinking:

#knack, #knack 1, #knack 2, #knack ps4, #knack game, #doctor vargas.

I copy-pasted this from another post. I highly recommend that we (?) come up with a system for tagging the characters, because some tags like women's names are banned and will hide your post from any tag pages. And other names are extremely common.

Blogs

I have mentioned this before, but I don't know who we want to feature on this thing. I was thinking it would be more like a club member list than anything else, and wouldn't really have any barriers to entry; anyone who wants to join would be listed. Ideas?

The 'blogs' featured in the screenshot are fake. I wasn't sure who, if anyone, would want their username and avatar featured in the pitch. Labs is still looking for volunteers to beta-test their thing; I figure I'd post here first and see how y'all think before applying. The fake blogs give a misleading idea of what it would look like.

Title, Description, and Cover Image

I am terrible with names. Help plz. The description gets the point across without flourish; maybe it could be better. And I made something up on the spot for the cover image and don't have real attachment to it.

The red is what Gundahar most likely meant (grr), the cyan is what I thought he meant in the first game, and the yellow is what actually applies in my opinion. Not necessarily the 'neither man nor beast' part; the highlighter was a bit too big.

Always lowkey simmering a Leverage AU in the back of my head hear me out:

Ted is an ex-insurance investigator who was able to get his son life-saving medical treatment because his first, original Crime Pal Beard was like ‘Ted if your company doesn’t come through with the coverage, we’re doing things my way.’

The company did not come through. The company did let him go due to suspicion of Ted’s involvement in the incident, but Ted will happily remind folks that no charges were formally pressed. Henry is alive and healthy and living with Michelle, who divorced Ted shortly thereafter (not just because of pre-existing marital problems, but because Ted wouldn’t tell her anything about why the doctors “””suddenly decided to do the procedure for free”””). Shortly thereafter, Ted fled the country.

What Ted learned from the whole experience is that there’s a lot of people out there, good people just trying to live by the rules, but sometimes things happen that are just out of their control. And well- if we’ve got the means to help the good people out when no one else will, then shouldn’t we try?

“We’ve got means,” Beard agrees. “And motives.”

They do things Beard’s way now.

Rate your OCs based on how they handle cuddling/being cuddled.

Reeve: 6/10 unless he is romantically involved with you in which case he can really step it up. He is not super comfortable in his own skin.

Alex: 8/10 He has feral cat vibes if he's not comfortable with you, but once he is, he's down to dog pile. If he wants to fuck you, the cuddles are 10/10 and ✨ spicy ✨

Gareth: 7/10 He may not be great at cuddling, but he's quite pleasant to cuddle. To quote a character from Vol 2 & 3 who has cuddled him, "He needs to work on his form, but his form is carrying him through--if you know what I'm saying." 😉

Hannah: 4/10 Oh, a disaster. She loves to cuddle but she is all elbows and if she falls asleep, she will kick and/or headbutt you while she flails around taking up 90% of the bed.

Alyosha: 9/10. Will nuzzle you and is the type to wait an extra 10 minutes after his arm has fallen asleep before telling you he has to move it.

Darwin: 12/10 Top notch in both his person and red panda form. I mean, look at him. That boy can SNUGGLE.

Marek: 8/10 Big sprawled out, come-lay-on-me vibes.

Anise: 8/10 She has an "ideal cuddle position" and will vocally insist upon it. Trust her. She's right.
