I personally headcanon that Klogg is fairly sickly and weak compared to the other Neverhoodians, hence why he usually relies on enslaving the Skullmonkeys or using mechs instead of hand-to-hand, and even then stabbing Hoborg was a last resort.

When the crown corrupted him, it made his voice a bit higher, voice crackly, he’s obviously skinnier I mean look at him. Yes, they’re made out of durable klay but since they can eat I’m gonna assume they have other bodily functions akin to humans.

Also, in the bad ending, dude gets decked by one punch. One punch and he’s unconscious, meanwhile Klaymen can literally get shaken around in Bil during the Clockwork Beast fight and be 100% fine, if not a little dazed. He actually gets knocked unconscious again in his boss battle, which again, seeing how Klaymen fairs with similar incidents he should’ve been groggy and tired at the very MOST.

And his creation itself was rushed. Hoborg just went “oh I’ll make a friend” chucked a life seed down and then went “ok buddy welcome to the world have a nice day I’m going to go now” instead of spending the amount of time he did with the other Neverhoodians, which I assume was at least a few hours as Klaymen had time to fall asleep then.

TLDR: Klogg has the immune system to rival Mr. Burns from the Simpsons

You know i used to have these surges of art coming through my hands at night. They're back, these surges. And i love Klogg can you tell

1st pic almost quotes Bible cuz you know, TenNapel himself said the Neverhood story is biblical in nature so yeah it comes naturally

2nd is Hoborg's humanized design through years (he hasn't really changed between '21 and today)

3d pic says "there are things i will never forgive myself for" and it echoes the headcanon that Hoborg had great guilt for what Klogg had become bcuz of the crown and was actually terrified of seeing and touching him

4th pic is abt this story i composed a couple of years ago, in short it's the segment where Klaymen and Klogg had to fight Some Guys and Klay obtained a blaster a while ago. yeah and Klogg had a blast using a spear which promptly broke after a dozen of hits

Based on a meme/prompt to get the ol' Kloggmen vibes goin' again.

I think if they ever tried puzzles together but got stuck trying to un-puzzle themselves, Klogg would overcomplicate the solution (one of the many troubles of being smart) while Klaymen keeps chipping away at trial and error. But he does have a breaking point. Maybe you should lay down for a few minutes and try again later, eh Klaymen?
