She was taken by the hand To a field, on an overcast day

This one is a strange one This she knew but this one has her methods Of helping those closest to her

At one point, she colored in Her cracks with gold

Today, she was taking her to a field She didn't state why besides "You've been bottling up something bad."

"How do you know?" she'd reply, shocked

She was told about the aftermath of that day

This one helped clean up the blood And continued when Imouto couldn't She said that day was like this one

Overcast but with more clouds

She wanted to cry To berate herself for Having caused so much pain

To the ones she loved the most

"It's okay if you cry." she was told She's cried before but, in this instance, She was given permission

Not to cry

No, permission to wail Like Imouto did on that day

It was the loudest She never did think that her voice Could reach such octaves

She wailing for several things All at once

She wailed for what she lost She wailed for the guilt she felt She wailed for several years of pain

She wailed for so many thing more things at once

She wailed until her throat was raw Until she no longer could She couldn't vocalize

If anything, she could almost faint (yet willed herself not to)

The other one continued "When people bottle up something bad, it blows up."

She was reminded Reminded that she was still healing And that she'll sometimes falter

"We understand." She was told

The strange one elaborated That "it blows up" in many ways (like when she took scissors to a favorite dress)

"You got hurt really bad but we understand." She continued

She didn't know who hurt her No, and, as curious as she was, she didn't ask But she was there for her anyway

They would be there for some time As it threatened to rain and there was nothing but silence Aside from the wind blowing

"You don't need to bottle up the bad anymore." The silence finally broken

For a spell, she felt a little more whole

The door to their apartment had been locked, but the three of them had been so close that by then, Nagasone has his own spare keys so he can just come by anytime.

Usually Saseki has his door locked whenever he let Yuichi feed, but Saseki had been too deep into his vampiric charm that he very much left his door open halfway while he's passionately making out with his best friend/housemate/lover.

Until they heard Nagasone's deep baritone chiming in.

Saseki takes a while to register Yuichi's voice talking to him, dazed from being fed on and from their makeout earlier that he just let out a dreamy "Hmmm...?"

Nagasone, for his part, isn't unfamiliar with his two dearest people getting cozy and cuddly (and more), but now he feels like just maybe he might've interrupted them tonight. That's the first time he's ever seen Saseki this entranced...

And both of them tangled with each other does a few things on him now.

"M-My bad, I didn't hear you two in the other room, maybe I should--"

Saseki eventually chimes in, rather eagerly. "No please, stay with us~" Then a peck on Yuichi's lips. "He can stay, right Yui~?"

The wielder of Bakuzan blinks at the boy before her, who has an angular face and thick eyebrows. Satsuki saw many things in her young life but saw a youth having a slight resemblance to her. Plus, he claims to be her son in the possible future. The dark, blue-haired woman's right eyebrow twitches, studying the boy from head to toe.

"That's a very bold claim," Satsuki said, "but what makes you think--What?!"

"Is this proof enough?" The time traveler said, revealing a similar sword she wields; Bakuzan. It does look like her famous blade, while his version of the sword has signs of wear and tear.

"Well...I'll be damned."

She was on a "retreat" That's what she'd call this It wasn't exactly a "getaway"

She was "sick" And needed to get closer to "well"

The other people there Are as she'd describe as "nice" Though, some are a little "different"

(she's one for politeness)

Her room was spacious And her bed was comfortable The place is clean and tidy

She could go out onto the balcony if she wanted (it's an enclosed balcony—For her safety)

She noted the staff were so kind Encouraging, even patient with her Particularly during her "less proud" moments

(that incident was petty, in retrospect)

She got people to talk to The kind that help with her illnesses Most would feel "caged"

She didn't feel that way Even if the balconies were enclosed No, she got to move about the place

She wasn't as restricted They even encouraged her letter writing She'd be a shorter term patient

(though she didn't know when she'd leave)

It hurt having to leave her sister But she needed to go away for a bit Still, she made a point to reassure her

She told her about where she'd go be going That it's a very nice place and that she'd be home again But she needed to go away

She was doing this for the both of them

Did she want to leave? Yes, she did but she didn't She needed to stay

At this "retreat" Because she couldn't stand to To see Imotou like that again

Revolutionary Girl Utena / Kill la Kill AU Swap

I watched Utena for the first time last year and then immediately afterwards Kill la Kill and I was struck by how similar some of the themes were for both shows. Maybe it was just because I watched one after the other but they really jumped out to me. So I wanted to do a AU swap with Ryuko + Mako in the Utena art style and Utena + Wakaba in the Kill la Kill style! This took me a couple days to finish and for someone who is style new to digital art, I'm pretty proud of it! I've never done digital painting so the backgrounds were super fun to play around with (but I broke my art pen so I couldn't draw the lens flare for the KlK background, sadge). Oh and don't repost anywhere or feed to AI!! I also have a bunch of ideas for this AU swap. I think I'll make a seperate post about it to talk about it more but some key ideas would be that while Satsuki would be the rose bride in this AU (for obvious reasons if you've watched the show) the relationship between her and Ryuko would actively not be a romantic one. (No spoilers but if you know you know.) I also think dynamically she would respond to the rose bride position in a much different way than Anthy. Thus their relationship would be inherently antagonistic and more bitter from the start, getting better as they learn about each other to a more friendly one. Mako would also play a larger role in this since lets be honest, you can't control Mako. Oh and the ages have swapped for the characters too! So Ryuko is 15 and Utena is 17. As for Utena, Anthy would replace Satsuki narratively and their relationship would develop into one of romance (I be it starts as enemies to lovers). Wakaba would play a little bit less of a role but still be in it more than the og show. I just like imagining Anthy on top of the school looking badass, its so fun. She would do it with a smile and cold eyes and I love that image (I plan to draw her too!!!). Also it's so importantly to me that y'all know that Touga would be the teacher. I mean, he's GOT to be him. He's literally always stripping, its a perfect role. Anyway, I talked enough about this silly idea, I hope you like this! I want to make more art for this so anything else I'll post here.
