Day 5: Secrets/Betrayal
@klangst-week
Vrepit sa!
What if Lance, tired of being seventh wheel and underappreciated, sided with Lotor, who sure compliments him like he should be?
And maybe Lotor is sincere...
Sorry Keith, you’re just a little too late!

anon asks
June 5th 2017, 12:19:00 am · a day ago "I am kinkshaming" honestly killed me cause like same
I had that line written down in my script for almost two months and I’m so glad I could finally put it in the comic properly hahaha.
June 5th 2017, 11:51:00 am · 12 hours ago So I'm like IN LOVE with your superhero AU comic, and I was wondering if it was based off of a fic that you wrote? Or is it only the comic? (I love your art style btw!!)
Aww thanks anon I’m glad you love my comic!  It is not based off a fic I wrote; it was always meant to be in a comic format.  It’s just a very plot-heavy comic and it’s going to be very long because I enjoy suffering.
For klanceweek2k16 last August, I came up with this AU and contemplated writing fic for it, but I decided that it contained so many action scenes that it’d work better with art instead of just text.  Also it’s like... a superhero au, superheroes were pretty much made to be in fantastically cheesy comics haha.  I like comics, and I can write + draw decently, so I figured “eeeehhhhhh why the fuck not I’ll just do it all myself” lol.  Good practice if I wanted to make my own original comic in the future too.  So now I Suffer because it’s going to take ages to finish, but I want to finish it because I need to make other people suffer with me.  Sufferbuddies~!
However, there is a fic based on this AU! It’s just a short one-shot focusing on Keith’s pov back at the Garrison. I might write more one-shots in the future and I’ll just drop them in the same AO3 series, but I’m juggling a lot of fandom things so We Will See. http://archiveofourown.org/works/9484157/chapters/21460103
Anyways I have the attention span of a goldfish so this AU spans multiple kinds of media at this point tbh, to keep myself from getting bored.  The bulk of the story will be in the comic so if you only read that, you’ll understand what’s going on.  But I’ll probably keep writing little side fics when I have the time, there’s going to be more random art and doodles, I made some shitty music videos for fun as little plot teasers, and there will be more playlists, etc.  I am a fanwork jack of all trades and master of none, RIP.

Klanceweek Day 7: Flowers/Stars
I finished the prompts weeeeeeee
This was done before Day 6, but in trying to finish Day 6, a lot of stuff happened, so it was only literally hours ago that I got to finish it and finally upload it with Day 7. I wanted to keep it in order xD
For this idea, I only got as far as that Lance was the prince of flowers and Keith was the prince of stars. The difference in their locations is supposedly what makes it impossible for them to be together, but that doesn’t stop them. It’s an odd concept I know, but I thought it was cute and fluffy.
Hope you enjoy :D

First Responders
KLance
2k words
Rated G
(x)
"We have a One-Twenty-Eight on East Jefferson Street. All nearby vehicles report."
Lance cracked a grin before picking up his radio and buzzing in. "Officer McLain here, Dispatch. I'm only two streets over. No need to worry, guys, I got this."
The voice of Officer Tsuyoshi Garrett popped up over the radio."It's just a car accident, Lance. Do you really have to be so dramatic?"
"Hunk, my man," Lance said as he flipped on his lights. "Every situation needs a little flare. Let's do this!"
With a whoop, Lance swerved out from behind the truck parked at the light and onto open road before flooring it.
"Oh man," Lance groaned as he pulled up to the accident. It was a hell of a lot more than a simple car accident, he could see that right away. Two cars had collided at the intersection, that much was obvious. The white sedan's entire front was caved in. The air bags had gone off, but it didn't look like any serious damage had reached the driver's or passenger's seats. The SUV looked to be the worser off. From the looks of it, it'd nailed the Sedan from the side. The roof on the passenger side was completely caved in and Lance silently hoped no one had been riding shotgun when it hit. From what he could see, there wasn't any blood, just a lot of broken glass and leaking oil, which was a small blessing.
Large white vans and another cruiser were already there by the time he parked. Even from here he could see the blue caduceus stenciled on the vans' sides. The word "Ambulance" spelt backwards stared at him from their hoods.
Great, he thought. Just what I need.
Lance stalked past the ambulances, red lights still flashing to compete with the cruisers' blue ones for attention. The most annoying people on the planet just had to be here, at his accident scene, messing with his people, making his job all the more difficult.
First Responders.
Glass crunched under Lance's shoes, making the asphalt sparkle like the stars overhead.
He could see two figures huddled on the ground, one sitting on the ground, legs spread in front of them—one of the drivers, no doubt in shock. The other wore a navy blue uniform, crouching over the first figure. The uniformed one turned around and stood up.
He was short—well, shorter than Lance at least, but that was all that really mattered anyways. Soft black hair framed his face in the most ridiculous looking mullet Lance had ever seen. His eyes flashed purple—at least, Lance thought they were purple, it was hard to tell with all the flashing red and blue lights at night. As he looked at Lance, his eyebrows were drawn, furrowed in annoyance.
Lance felt a jolt strike through his heart. If he wasn't so annoyed right now, he might have thought the responder was pretty. Hell, even annoyed, he thought the responder was pretty. It was then Lance realized that the responder was probably a nurse and had an image flash in his mind of seeing that tight butt in one of the scandalous nurse costumes stores usually sold for Halloween.
Lance shook his head. Focus, moron. Right, he was supposed to be annoyed. He was annoyed.
"And just what do you think you're doing here?" he called, stepping over a fender to get to the accident.
"I think what I'm doing is my job, Officer," the first responder said.
"Oh, really?" Lance said. "You see, I find that hard to believe since that's what I'm doing."
Lance glanced at the name embroidered in red on the responder's uniform. Kogane.
"Well then," the Nurse Kogane said, wiping his hands on each other before putting them on his hips. "I don't see why we can't both do our jobs at the same time."
"Okay, then can I question the driver?" Lance asked.
The nurse looked at him. "No. He's in shock."
Lance grit his teeth. "What about the other driver?"
The nurse shrugged. "Fractured tibia," he said. "He was sent to the hospital in another ambulance."
Lance had to repress the urge to slap that ridiculous-looking mullet right off the responder's head. "So we can't both do our jobs at the same time."
The nurse gestured to the crash scene and the glass scattered over the road. A fire truck pulled up and Lance heard something over the radio about tow trucks having already been sent to help clean up.
"You can do what you want with the rest of this mess, Officer," the nurse said as he turned back for the ambulance. "I'm not stopping you from that."
"But you won't let me question the witnesses," Lance said, following close behind the nurse.
"You can't harass my patient, no," the nurse said calmly as he pulled a shock blanket from the back of the ambulance before turning to head back to the driver still seated on the ground. Lance followed him.
"Look," he said, insistent. "All I need to know is what happened."
"What good would only interviewing one witness do at this point?" the nurse said, tossing a glare over his shoulder at Lance. He knelt down and shook the blanket over the driver's shoulders, murmuring a few, gentle words.
"And what good is it," Lance hissed. "That there's two crumpled motor vehicles in the middle of my intersection?"
"And here I thought you'd be more concerned about the welfare of those involved in the accident," the nurse said with a roll of his eyes as he stood up. "Silly me." He shouldered past Lance and back to the ambulance.
"Hey!" Lance called after him. "I care about civilians!"
The nurse didn't even spare him a glance.
Lance looked after the nurse (damn, that was a nice ass) and then at the driver, sitting on the ground, wrapped in an orange shock blanket. He looked back at the ambulance. He took a step closer to the driver and opened his mouth.
"Don't even think about it."
Lance spun to find the nurse standing right behind him, hands on his hips and a condescending look on his face. For a second, Lance's mind went blank. The nurse's eyes were purple. Like, amethyst purple, like gems in the night light. God, they were the prettiest things Lance had ever seen.
Then Lance's face flashed with heat, and he couldn't tell if it was from frustration or embarrassment of realizing what he'd been thinking.
"You—" Lance said, seething. He stopped short, too angry to speak coherently. "—Are the most frustrating man I have ever met."
The nurse raised an eyebrow, looking unimpressed. "Is that so?"
Lance felt his face flush. Damn. Why did he have to be so pretty? He sputtered, choking on his own words for a moment before spitting out the word "Yes!"
The nurse smirked.
Lance wanted to hit him.
Nurse Kogane glanced behind Lance at the driver before letting out a sigh. "Well, looks like he'll be fine in about twenty minutes. You can feel free to question him then."
Lance looked back at the driver, but when he turned around, the nurse was already walking back to the ambulance. "Wha-? Wait, hold on!" Lance said, chasing after him. "You're just going to leave him there?"
The nurse glanced over his shoulder and offered up another raised eyebrow. "Now you're worried about him?"
Lance came up short of the ambulance, his face flushing. He sputtered for a moment before finding his voice. "Um, well, yeah. It's just, I don't know, isn't it your job to look after him?"
"This is a big city, officer," the nurse said, packing up a number of supplies back into their cases and shoving them into the back of the ambulance. "There's a fire down West Street and a shooting on Jefferson. There's people out there that need our help, and I don't have time to waste on people who are fine." He looked over his shoulder at Lance again and gave him a quick once over. "Like you."
Lance scoffed. "Oh, I'm sorry, but was that a joke?"
The nurse smiled and swung the back doors of the ambulance closed. "Believe it or not, I have a sense of humor buried deep inside me."
Lance couldn't help the smile that slipped onto his lips. He crossed his arms over his chest. "Oh really?"
The nurse spun back around, the smallest of sly smiles on his face. "For instance: I always did like my boys in blue," he said, tapping Lance's chest as he walked by.
Lance's eyebrows shot up into his hair line as he watched the nurse pass. "Oh, so you like boys then."
The nurse shot him a glare as he stooped to pick up a first aide kit from the ground. He headed back to the ambulance
"Well," Lance said, coming to his senses and quickly following after the nurse. "Maybe you could see me out of blue sometime."
The nurse shrugged. "Maybe. How about you give me a call? You know my number," he said, slapping the red numbers stenciled on the side of the ambulance as he passed it.
Lance looked at the numbers 911 and smiled. "I think we have the same number."
"What a coincidence," the nurse said, climbing into the passenger seat of the ambulance. The driver was already buckled in on the other side. The engine roared to life as the nurse slammed his door shut.
"Wait," Lance said, hand shooting out to grab hold of the open window of the passenger side door. He could feel his pulse thumping violently in his ears. There was something about this nurse, he could feel it in his bones. And it was something other than the fact that he'd managed to infuriate him more than any other first responder he'd ever met—Or maybe that was the thing. Either way, he couldn't ignore the way his heart skipped a beat whenever to looked at those eyes—he couldn't just let the nurse leave, without saying something, without even acknowledging the fact that there might be something more here, right below the surface.
Lance looked up into those shimmering purple eyes, his heart racing. "Could I at least get your first name?" he asked.
The nurse looked down at him, like he wasn't quite sure what to make of this. At first, he didn't say anything, and then—
"It's Keith."
Lance smirked, his heart doing a little fist pump of victory. Before he knew what was happening, his instincts kicked in, one of his most confident smiles taking over his face. "I'm Lance, and can I just say, hey."
Whatever interest there might have been in the nurse's face vanished in an instant. He glanced down, looking highly uninterested. "I'm about to run over your foot, Mr. Hey."
"That's Officer Hey to you." Lance said, but he let go of the ambulance door and took a step back.
"See you around, Officer Hey," the nurse said, not even sparing a second glance as he looked to the driver and gave him a nod. Without another word, the ambulance rolled forward and took the first turn. Its lights came on, along with the siren to pierce through the night. Lance watched as it rode off into the night, a horribly, horribly light feeling tickling his heart as he thought about those brilliant purple eyes and the way that mouth tilted in a smile.
"I sure hope so," Lance said, not even realizing he'd let out a sigh as he watched the ambulance disappear from sight.

Klanceweek Day 6: Hero/Villain
This is uber late, but I don’t care. I had fun making this xD.
Also, this is my third attempt at drawing people kissing and I think it’s my best one yet. This is alsoy first time drawing a Galra Keith (I tried). I didn’t expect to bring in an Altean Lance, but my hand slipped xD
The paper is 11x14 inches and I used gel pens to color this in. I used some ballpoint for the lineart and Keith’s hair. I prefer this paper since it’s very compatible with me coloring this way. So yup.
Hope you enjoy :D
Also, thank you to those who have recently followed me and to those who continue to. You’re all too kind.
