I'm so not ready for Rogue's interactions with the og ninja man

Like imagine they keep forgetting he's lost his memories and they try and joke around with him only for him to just stare at them like they have grown three heads or just walk away and then they are painfully reminded he doesn't know them

They try touching him like like giving hugs or head pats cuz their Jay was always physically affectionate only for him to dodge their touches and glare at em

Small lil things he does just reminds them of their Jay, which serves as a painful reminder that even tho he's here, he's still so far away.

Jay screams pretty boy to me

That just me?

Like his bio parents is gorgeous woman Libber and Cliff who let's be fr, 99% of famous on-screen actors are hot asf

So two hot folks = really pretty child and that's Jay 100%

He would have so many more fans in canon if his personality wasn't just off the rails LOL

Those rare moments of calm for Jay really let's the pretty boy genetics shine through and leaves you wondering how u never noticed how damn hot he is before

And then he opens his mouth

And then ur like OH

That's why LOL

I crave to see more Lloyd interactions with the rest of the ninja outside the RGB siblings

Love them tons, don't get me wrong (PLZ don't I do love them lol) but we are critically lacking in some good bonding moments between Lloyd and Zane, Cole and Jay

Like they have so few notable interactions and it's a shame tbh cuz Lloyd isn't JUST Kai and Nya's lil bro he's EVERYONES lil bro and I'm sad that we don't get to see that more (Iike i've already made a post about how distant Lloyd and Jay feel, im very passionate about this)

Like they all took part im caring for Lloyd and it sucks that only Kai and Nya get any recognition in that area.

I just wanna see it man GIVE US MORE BONDING MOMENTS BETWEEN LLOYD AND THE REST OF THE NINJA PLZZZ

PIXAL and Jay's friendship is so underrated imo. Folks either don't have them interact at all or if they do its PIXAL expressing annoyance at Jay and seeing him as incompetent and VERY little else

I think there's so much potential there beyond PIXAL just seeing Jay as an annoyance and a dumbass

Like cmon they are two capable inventors and you mean to tell me that nobody can think of any scenarios where they would bonding really well?

Imagine PIXAL being one of the only to notice Jay stopped inventing and wondering why cuz she considers him a very capable inventor

I could easily see PIXAL trying to encourage Jay to invent again too

I can easily see them having many conversations about mechanics n whatnot. Going long hours of the day just talking and brainstorming new ideas and just geeking out in general

Jay going all mad scientist with his ideas and PIXAL bearing witness to the absolutely bonker inventions he makes and wondering howww they are still alive

Jay helping PIXAL be more wild with her ideas and how she makes them while PIXAL helps Jay reign in his crazy

Together they make the coolest shit

Nya has no fucking clue how to flirt cuz she's never had to put In effort to impress anyone like that before

Jay was smitten with her upon first meeting her so she really didn't need to do much of anything to impress him

And its a problem now cuz her yin has no memories of her and all her flirting skills are doing is weirding him out and pushing him further away

She is becoming acutely aware she has no idea what she's doing and it's both cringe and funny to witness

If Jay had a YouTube channel it would be a mix of game reviews, him playing games, and making random shit like making a functional pokeball or designing fnaf animatronics irl, something crazy like that cuz he knows no chill

Fav kind of plasma is Kai just being horrendously down bad for Jay and finding every possible way to be around him in the most unsubtle way possible (he thinks he's being Sooo subtle)

I told yall the next post by me about the au would be Kai's season 1 concept and i meant it!

So here we are!

This is what Kai is wearing all through pre-season 1 and season 1

So let's talk a bit about Kai and what important information you'll need to know about him for pre-season 1 and season 1

♤Kai♤

Kai is the main protagonist in this au. Since he is taking over MK's spot in the lmk story and Lore, that means pretty much everything MK went through Kai does as well

He's still the same brash prideful caring loser he's always been, that hasn't changed, but now he faces a new danger and new adventure that he never expected to go through. At least he's not alone, he has Jay and a bunch of new allies in his corner helping out!

Kai, like MK will be staying with Pigsy and working at his noodle shop in order to make money and keep his place of residence.

♤Backstory♤

Kai's backstory In this au is quite different. Those of you who have watched lmk know what I mean but for those who don't, when time comes for the information to be relevant you'll know.

But for the sake of pre-season 1 and season 1 it's not that relevant

For now, I'll be telling you the events that lead up to Kai getting stuck in the LMK realm...

A few months after the events of Crystallized concluded Kai was in his and Nya's family home, visiting their parents and helping out around the house. He was clearing though some of his old belongings when he came across a particular item.

It was a small golden bell

The bell was an item Kai had never seen before nor has any memory of getting it yet it seemed so..familiar.

Like eerily familiar.

Where had this come from? And why did it seem to call out to him??

"H-hey mom?" He called out, eyes still stuck In the bell in his hands.

"What is it Kai?" His mother's distance voiced called back.

"Can you... come here? I have something I want to show you!" He shouted.

"In a minute sweetie!" Kai hummed in response.

Kai found himself unable to look away from the bell. There wasn't anything unique about it. It was jsut a simple golden bell with a black strap and some tasles at the end, and yet, somrgung about it just screamed it being familiar

Something calling for him to ring it.

Kai isn't known for his good ideas so maybe that's why he ended up doing that exact thing.

The bells sound echoed through the room, the melody quiet yet loud, and once again something about it just insisted it was familiar.

At first nothing happened and Kai was about ready to shove aside such a feeling of nostalgia and out it away, but then...

The bell started to glow and vibrate rapidly.

"W-what the-?!" Kai yelped and dropped the bell. Instead of falling however it just overdue in place, the glowing and vibrating getting more intense.

Kai stood frozen as the bell got more and more intense. The glow becoming os bring it nearly blinded him. He tried to look away but the bell once again called his attention and he found himself looming into the glowing light as it grew brighter and brighter and then-

*POOF*

In one swift blink of light, both Kai and the Bell, were gone.

Only a few moments later did Maya appear I jthe doorway of his room looking confused as she searched for her son

"Kai? Sweetie? Where are you? I'm here to see what you wanted to show me?" She looked around the room In confusion

Did she mishear him? Mayne he was somewhere else?

She turned away and called out to Ray

"Ray?"

"Ya?"

"Did you see where Kai went?"

Neither her or Ray knew this yet but that would be the last time they see Kai for quite a while

Little story for you guys to give u an idea of how Kai ended up in the realm of lmk. I'll go into more detail about this as we go through the episodes so don't worry. This was more or less so u guys knew just HOW he got there

The next post you guys see about the au aside from any asks, will be Jay's concept Art for S1!. After him I got I think 2 more concepts for 2 other characters that I wanna use in this au! You'll see what I mean!

The way the fandom just collectively forgot(or actively ignore) that Bonzle was ALSO stranded in the netherspace makes me sad

I have not seen a single person comment about Bonzle when talking about the netherspace situation

It's honestly funny how much the fandom labeles Jay as incompetent qhen it comes to basic things when tbh out of ALL the ninja he would be the most capable In normal everyday scenarios

He's the only one to have grown up with a normal as hell childhood, two loving parents who cared for him, basic bitch energy

Yea he grew up in a junkyard but aside from that u can bet his childhood was likely very normal

Compared to everyone else who either grew up without parents, or had a shaky relationship with their parents.

So to see folks lable him as someone who can't do this basic thing or that basic thing (lookin at u random ninjago polls i see on here where Jay is somehow always voted the worst no matter the question) bothers me

Like out of all the ninja yall think the guy with the most normal basic childhood can't do basic things??

And tbh this ties into my frustration with the show cuz they definitely didn't help the perception of Jay by the fanom by making him so..dumb in the later seasons, but damn the fandom certainly ain't helping remedy that

This man canonically also has had like many different jobs in the show. So if any of the ninja are perfectly capable to adjusting to normal life without being a ninja its Jay 100% and the show makes that known

So I think he's more capable than majority of the team of doing the things yall for some reason think he's incapable of doing

Give my boy SOME credit he's proven how capable he is too many times for yall to be labeling him as some incompetent dumbass who can't do anything.

We get on the show for butchering the characters many times but yall contribute to that more than yall are willing to accept

Ed n Edna are single handedly THE best parents in all of ninjago and I will NOT be hearing anyone out on this

They deserve so much more praise then they get and it's irritating to see how much they have been discarded as Jay's parents by a good portion of folks

Especially Edna.

Listen I love Libber and want more on her too

But all she did was give birth to Jay

She didn't raise him

Unlike Edna

So to see folks who consider her to be more so Jay's mother than Edna is so rage inducing

Ed gets this treatment too but less being discarded for Cliff and moreso just being forgotten in general

Ed and Edna yall deserve better

Im seeing fols speculate he made the wings and tbhhhh im more convinced Jay made his Lightning bolt shaped katanas than the wings

Cuz all the ninja we see in the trailer that used wings had the exact same ones if not a different color

But where are ya gonna find lightning bolt shaped katanas tho?

Either way I pray they actually brought back Jay's inventor skills PLZ WRITERS
