She figured it'd be better safe than sorry to go on ahead and let the other know about the arrival of his 'boss'. To her, it was more a guardian figure to Justin, but it still just felt. . . Right, in a way. Their little found family and all.

So, Maika made sure to gently knock on his door and let him know of the incoming arrival, though she wasn't quite sure when he would get there. All she knew she could do was keep an eye and ear out for it.

And the time did eventually come.

She heard him calling out, and quickly moved to greet him. "Obi!" The brunette popped out from one of the corners, a pleased look on her face just to be able to see him. "It's been a little bit, hasn't it? Were you able to get in alright? No one trying to start anything nearby, right?" It wasn't an unusual thing to happen at times, so she just wanted to be sure.

"You say that, but. . ." But yet here they were, with her having managed to scare the everliving crap outta him, and she was stuck questioning whether or not he was gonna try to stab her, or something. It wasn't her fault that she didn't expect him there!

All she wanted was a freshly made doughnut, damn it!

"Could you. . . Get off me, please?" She mindlessly found herself staring up at the other with her large eyes, slowly blinking. "I was just trying to get to the little doughnut stand. . . I didn't expect you there, of all places."

"... Uuuummmmm...." She found herself staring at the message for , trying to do her best to realize what exactly that could mean. After all that Sissy had said and pushed her about, she couldn't help but find herself questioning a lot of things.

She was still staring at it for the longest time. Thinking, wondering... There was no way, right?

“I must be honest,” The blonde seemed to admit, “I am not entirely sure myself. I do not personally recall the name stated in this letter, nor did Maika when I asked her about it. Unfortunately, we have been unable to gather any information regarding the sender.”

She knew it was nerve-wracking. Why wouldn’t it be? A letter sent to him that ended up on their end instead of Clarines. “The only possibility I can think of is it being due to your name being connected to Hayate, and so the assumption that you live here must have been made by whomever the sender was. After all, Zen does not have your name released to the public in Clarines.”

To be perfectly fair, neither one of them knew what to do about this. Interaction with humans was a rare occurrence, so this felt. . . Awkward. Especially with how they were acting toward them as if there was nothing odd about any of this. It made Dianne suspicious, even if Maika was a bit more oblivious to it all.

". . . No, nothing in particular." Dianne found herself responding, keeping her gaze between the two of them and Maika. The last thing she needed was anything happening, after all.

"Yeah. . . Nothing, really." Maika's head tilted a tad, though she could tell that her companion was trying to find an out for this situation. She could understand the concern, though she wasn't sure what would happen. She supposed there was the hope that this didn't lead anywhere and they didn't get dragged off or anything like that-

"An act of kindness, even with ulterior motives, is still an act of kindness," Shirayuki spoke firmly, a smile on her lips. "While you had your reasons for saving us, that won't change the fact that you did. I was able to see Zen again because of you."

"Did we interrupt something?" Obi decided to ask. They were acting like they were about to be shot.

@kitxkatrp​: Obi hated that he was even doing this, but just going to the bar to find someone to sleep with wasn't doing it for him anymore. He'd run out of people willing to take that risk with such a frightening man. So he sought out a prostitute.

      The club was packed tonight, there were so many patrons flooding the tables, taking to the dance floor. Well, that just meant a wider range of clientele(hopefully) from the norm. Those in the know were quite aware that this place also doubled as a brothel.

     Having just finished up his routine on stage, which he was rarely allowed to do because of his poor stamina, he redressed in his usual vest and rejoined the rest of the people on the floor, just out having fun.

     It should be easy enough trying to find one client tonight, right?

In that moment, it almost felt as if they had gotten shot. They felt trapped in a corner, Maika especially. After all, they had been told so many things about what humans had done. From using them as a meal, to the demise of the previous king of their species. There were plenty of reasons for them to have no calmness around them.

Dianne kept her gaze locked onto Obi the entire time, eyes narrowing a bit. There was little they could do about this situation, they were stuck in a hard place. She knew this. . . "As thankful as we may be by the appreciation. . . How is one simply supposed to. . . te faire confiance?" 'Trust you?'

There was the simple answer to that, which was that they don't. Maika found herself uncomfortably shifting, trying to force herself to have the confidence to grab her partner and run. She was in pain, sure, but she had turned once or twice and was sure she was more used to it compared to Dianne. The brunette forced herself to move to help the blonde up, doing her best to hide that Dianne, as well as herself, were indeed in pain the entire time they even dared to move.

"I. . . I-I. . ." She took a sharp breath in, before latching onto Obi with all of her strength. Shivering, feeling nothing but cold and fear. What had she done wrong?. . . She didn't understand what went wrong--

"I shouldn't have allowed it, I should've kept him in the castle walls-- What is wrong with me?!" The brunette practically screeched, shaking harder and feeling the tears roll down her face. "Hayate-- Oh, my precious boy. Hayate!"

She should've been with him-- Where was he??... Her legs started to collapse at the thought, still gripping him tightly. "I'm so sorry---"

He just didn't know what he could do on his own. He didn't entirely understand the way Obi's mind worked, or what could be the source of the internal chaos that was going on in his head. "Just speak your mind, I'm here to listen."

That by itself killed her in embarrassment. She was usually able to take care of herself without issue, so there was never anything obvious while she was working. But it hit her rather suddenly and she wanted to internally scream as the day progressed.

Obi suggested helping her out. Out of curiosity, she found herself accepting.

She never expected doing it with another person could feel as good as it did. It almost made her question why she didn't ever do it before. But she knew the answer to that... Because she wanted to find someone she could trust to do it with.

She trusted him.

"O-obi, please, I--" Her breath hitched, covering her mouth with a hand. Her free hand was gripping at the sheets, face beet red. Perhaps, even, to the shade her hair was at this point. A cry of pleasure rang through the room, back arched as she could feel herself climaxing again.

With how many times she'd done so as of currently, she was sure she'd be alright for a while, but it just felt as if it was never done. She was slowly turning into a mess and found herself squirming for a quiet while. "I-is it really alright to keep going like this? I-"

With a light giggle, Maika found herself putting her hand to her lips after the smooch she had received. "I suppose a little, yeah. A bit earlier and you know as well as I do that you'd be left to air dry all you want."

Going over, however, she decided to sit down on the bed with a breath. "I just got back from a meeting, they're only supposed to be watching over him until I came back. Had I known you'd be by so early, I would've asked for them to watch him a bit longer."

"Obi, no-" He really didn't think a point needed to be proven, truthfully. Though, it was more likely that Obi was just drunk and wasn't thinking too much about it. But, before he could even try to stop him. . . He was already out of his reach, even if he tried to catch him.

"Like. . . Yes, but no. . ." She had a feeling that this was going to be awkward to explain. It wasn't even meant to be something that he knew, really. But she supposed that accepting taking a survey that was near an adult store did that, sometimes. She's gonna guess that with her disguised look, they looked a bit more like a couple than usual.

Well. . .

The surveyor was gone now. What. . . Great timing on their part. "It's. . . Roleplay, you know? It's not like I ACTUALLY want to get robbed. "Hehe, wouldn't that be something?" She found herself, if anything, a bit amused at the thought. After all, if it did have a button like that, she was all but certain of the amount of misuse that would end up having by random people. "Imagine the chaos about trying to rule over something like that and control it? It'd be insane."

She knew it likely had a different meaning than what he was saying out loud, but Maika didn't wanna admit it. Nor think about it. There was no need to. She was glad to simply know that everything seemed to be calm and content at the moment. "Don't you agree?"

"Th-that's exactly why you shouldn't do it!" She found herself worried that he was about to do something incredibly dumb. He could do it, sure, but he'd easily get caught and into trouble. Besides, they still used some of the things that would end up getting involved. It'd be hurting them, sure, but it'd also be hurting themselves in the process.

"If we don't have water, we can't bathe, or cook, or clean anything. It'd be really bad if we can't clean wounds or make sure there isn't anything bad on our food deliveries."
