COCO LET ME PET HER! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

Our sweet coward daughter has become the first of our children to initiate contact.

This evening I went to deliver nighttime treats, and Gia was super close while Coco was watching further back, being skittish. But see, Gia usually eats all the treats because Coco is a coward. So Coco held her ground this time, and when I went to drop them, Coco ran out and flat out headbutt her sister out of the way to make sure she got hers. But, I hadn’t done it yet, and Coco began to do her morning behavior of whumping and acting cute. But this time, she got up, nuzzled on the corner of the wall, and then did that to my hand! I gave her a little scratch, worried she might run, but she didn’t! She held still and even went in for more attention! I think she ate all the treats on Gia, but honestly she deserves it. I’m so proud of her.

…anyway I went back out to the kitchen after running to tell my wife about her progress, and Coco has identified the hidden location of the treats. She was on the counter trying to open the cabinet. So our girl is smart, but a problem. Delightful. I love her so.

Imagine in Shrek 5 the gang is looking for Puss cuz they need his help for the quest and there in a place when suddenly explosions go off and there’s chaos and music.

An cat laughing is ass off lands near them and is like “oh, hey guys! :3”

And everyone is just “whelp that was easy”

But then fireworks go off and cause another explosion and near them lands another cat??

Everyone is like “wtf” but Puss immediately gets heart eyes and goes “amor!!!❤️❤️❤️”

And now everyone’s mental health is going to have to deal with the fact that omg there’s two of them and where did that dog come from?

we are now 26 Days into drawing each day of October... getting closer 👀

today i've drawn a Noise, a troubling little gremlin who, despite what it looks like, definitely does NOT like the teeny kitten he's with, he does NOT secretly sneak pets at her when nobody's looking, and he didn't make her a teeny cape to match his either.

(and he definitely didn't end up caring for her a lot more, after learning about where she'd come from... definitely not.)

For the monster!au, what is Saejima? Anything specific or more like a weretiger?

like a weretiger ye! I haven't really shown it in any art or anything but him and majima are actually big ol yokai, designed with their tats in mind. they take on a half human form since it's just easier to exist that way and hide better from humans. I love a good trope where someone's partner is a big ol monster 👀

both of em can become totally human with a bit o magical help but just temporarily - kinda like a glamour. they prefer being in their halfsies forms anyhow. compared to majima tho, saejima has an easier time blending in so long as no one sees his furry ass legs and cute catboy ears 🐱

Phantom Punk x DC crossover: Lovebirds in Gotham

Inspired by another post that I can’t seem to find/link at the moment, and I had to make it my Punk au for Danny Phantom for reasons. Basic gist was Johnny and Kitty originally being from Gotham and having a date night

So, imagine it you will:      Punk Danny doing his thing and not playing somewhere that immediately draws the attention of one of the Bats for once (or so he thinks)

Enter Kitty and Johnny. They’re enjoying a night on the town and end up at the show Danny is playing. Considering that the two of them are teenage rebellion incarnate, they get along just fine with Punk Danny.

Danny just sees them between songs, stares right at them and says  “I’m not playing it” “Aw come on!” “... okay fine but you owe me a drink.” and proceeds to play what Johnny and Kitty refer to as “their song” some romantic ballad from when they were alive that’s more than a bit out of place for his setlist. 

Meanwhile Tim is in the crowd after Tim saw a flier for the show posted in a coffee shop. Trying to get a lead on Danny, he pretty easily figures out the three know each other and takes a picture of Johnny and Kitty. He figures that if he can follow the two’s trail back he can find out more about the mysterious musician that has yet to be Identified beyond “Danny”

Cue to the mass confusion at the Batcave when the two are Identified as Katherine “Kitty” Falcone, and Johnathan “Johnny” Sullivan, who happen to be a well known love story between a common thug from Park Row and one of the Falcone crime family’s daughters. 

Who also happened to be dead for the better part of 40 years

The chaos as now they’re trying to figure out where these two came from because they can’t be the same people. And with date night still not over, the two lead the Bats on a merry chase before disappearing

When I decided to make my cat a blanket I fully expected that he wouldn’t like it and it would just be using up some spare yarn but he’s all curled up on it. 🥺
