One of the standout features of our Talavera tiles is the inclusion of decorative tile murals and high-relief tiles. These elements go beyond the ordinary, transforming walls and surfaces into captivating works of art. Decorative tile murals tell a story, often depicting scenes from nature, folklore, or cultural traditions. High-relief tiles add depth and texture, creating a visual impact that goes beyond the flatness of traditional tiles. In the pursuit of creating a space that truly reflects your personality and style, Mexican Talavera tiles offer a delightful departure from the ordinary. Whether used as a kitchen backsplash, bathroom accent, or as part of an intricate mosaic, these hand-painted ceramic tiles infuse a sense of charm and character that is hard to replicate with mass-produced options. As you explore the world of tiles, consider the statement-making potential of custom Talavera tiles. From their rich history to their unparalleled craftsmanship, these tiles are not just a functional element but a celebration of artistry and culture. Elevate your surroundings with the vivid hues and captivating designs of Mexican Talavera tiles, and transform your living space into a canvas of timeless beauty.

I can't believe that this gorgeous 1931 home in Binghamton, NY is under $1m. No wonder it has a pending sale. 4bds, 5ba, 4,142 sq ft, $850k.
A short walk down the entrance hall.
And, you come into the main hall with this dramatic staircase.
Beautiful living room with a castle-like fireplace. Love the library ladder.
Love this stone dining room and the large glass windows with a view of the sun room.
The sun room is round and look at how big it is.
Lovely den/man cave.
Super sophisticated family room has great built-ins.
Open concept family room/kitchen.
Love the kitchen, it's so pretty.
This is different- it's like a dining nook. Look at the glass cabinet in the wall.
The hall to the bedrooms has a wall of closets.
Lovely large primary bedroom.
Big ensuite with original tile. I like the colors, too.
The closet features a curved built-in makeup vanity.
The primary suite includes this private sunroom.
This roomy bedroom features a colorful hand painted mural.
Another vintage bath. The baths are pretty big and have beautiful tile.
Upstairs, there's a finished attic.
This basement room with a stone fireplace is too nice to be a home gym.
Even the laundry room is pretty.
And, look at the workshop that would also make a great craft room.
The yard is so pretty.
It's like a fairy tale.
What a stunning garden.

🖊️ what color are the walls? are they all the same color? are they lots of different colors? are there any decals on them, or a mural?
🖊️ what’s decorating the walls? framed pictures? mirrors? is there a sensory wall?
🖊️ what does the floor look like? hardwood, tile, carpet, foam playmat? if there’s a rug, is it shag, fluffy, or something else? what color is it? are there sensory tiles?
🖊️ describe the lighting. is it bright or dim? how many light sources are there? can they change color? are there fairy lights? ceiling lights? lamps?
🖊️ are there any windows? how many? how big are they? do they have blinds or curtains? what can you see outside the window?
🖊️ what storage is there? a toy chest? shelves? little bins? folding boxes? is there a ceiling net for stuffies?
🖊️ does the room have any fun features? a sensory swing? a fort? a play kitchen? a dollhouse? a pirate ship? a jungle gym? a mobile? a rocking horse?
🖊️ what kind of toys are there? stuffies, dolls, blocks, racecars, playmobil, fidget toys?
🖊️ is there a table? what does it look like? what do you use it for? slime, arts and crafts, legos, snacks? are there chairs at the table, or mats on the floor?
🖊️ is it a magical playroom? are there talking animals? toys that come to life? fairies that hang around and sprinkle pixie dust? is there a portal to another world? or a crystal ball that can show the future?
if you want, you can draw this playroom. or build it in minecraft, or out of legos. someday maybe it can become real!

Let’s start by giving those kitchen walls a makeover. Forget the mundane paint or plain tiles; it’s time to infuse your space with color, tradition, and character. Mexican Talavera tiles for walls are the secret ingredient for adding a dash of artistic flair to your kitchen. These hand-painted, eye-catching tiles are not only a feast for the eyes but also a conversation starter. With intricate patterns and a rich history dating back to the 16th century, these tiles bring the rustic charm of Mexico right into your home. Whether you’re a fan of bold blues, fiery reds, or soothing earth tones, there’s a Talavera tile design to suit your taste. Turn your eat-in kitchen into a visual fiesta that’ll have your guests saying, “¡Olé!” Now, let’s take your kitchen transformation a step further with a stunning backsplash by adding a kitchen tile mural. Imagine creating a focal point in your kitchen with a custom tile mural featuring a vibrant scene of a Mexican market or a beautiful hacienda. These kitchen tile murals for backsplash are like artworks that provide a unique and inviting atmosphere. Plus, they’re a fantastic way to pay homage to the artistic heritage of Mexico while enjoying your morning coffee or preparing a gourmet dinner.
To tie it all together and add a final dash of flair, consider using Mexican border tiles to frame your Talavera masterpiece. Border tiles can be used to define the edges of your backsplash, the transition from the wall to the floor, or even to create a striking border around your kitchen island. They act as the finishing touch to your culinary canvas, making your kitchen a truly unique and eye-catching space. They are ideal for separating the dining are form the cooking area in case of an eat-in kitchen. countertops
They're installing the kitchen countertops today and i'm like weirdly over-excited about it and i'm just like
idk it's not gonna be done when they're done but for some reason it feels Important
listen we'll take our dopamine where we can get it, if we're super-pumped about countertops then we'll be super pumped and by we i mean me
Once the countertops are in they can start installing the tile and the plumber can come and then i can have a kitchennnnnnnnnnnnnn and figure out what color to paint it and finally finish putting everything back into it and it's a lot of work so i'm trying to be excited about it instead of dreading it and we shall see.
i had a great idea for a mural for the basement stairwell wall but do i really have time for that? maybe i should just stencil it instead...
