Aligning Ventilation Needs and Compliance for Kitchen Exhaust Hood Installation
Achieving a successful kitchen exhaust hood installation in a commercial kitchen requires more than just choosing the right equipment. It involves balancing ventilation needs with compliance standards. Properly installed exhaust hoods improve air quality and ensure safety, but aligning your system with local codes is essential to avoid potential issues. Here’s how to plan your installation to meet both ventilation requirements and regulatory compliance.
The Importance of Balancing Ventilation and Compliance
A well-planned kitchen exhaust hood installation helps maintain a safe kitchen environment by removing smoke, grease, and heat. Adhering to local building codes ensures that your system operates legally and efficiently. Aligning these aspects protects your staff, reduces fire risks, and helps your kitchen pass necessary inspections.
Key Considerations for Ventilation and Compliance
To ensure that your exhaust hood installation meets both ventilation needs and regulatory standards, consider these factors:
CFM Ratings and Hood Size: Proper airflow is crucial for effective ventilation. Determining the required cubic feet per minute (CFM) based on your cooking equipment and kitchen size ensures that your exhaust hood system can efficiently remove heat, smoke, and odors. High-heat appliances like fryers and grills need a higher CFM rating for optimal performance.
Placement and Clearance: Local regulations often dictate minimum clearance distances between the exhaust hood and walls or ceilings. Proper placement allows the hood to capture fumes effectively while adhering to safety codes. Positioning the kitchen exhaust hood directly above the cooking area is ideal for optimal capture of smoke and grease.
Ductwork Design and Fire Resistance: The design of your ductwork is essential for safely directing fumes out of the kitchen. Using fire-resistant materials and minimizing bends in the ducts helps maintain good airflow. A well-designed duct system is a key part of a compliant kitchen exhaust hood installation.
Makeup Air Systems: As the exhaust hood removes air from the kitchen, it’s important to replace that air to maintain balance. Makeup air systems help maintain safe pressure levels, preventing backdrafts and ensuring overall ventilation efficiency.
Steps to Balance Ventilation and Compliance
Follow these steps to ensure that your kitchen exhaust hood installation meets both ventilation requirements and compliance standards:
1. Consult Local Building Codes
Understanding local regulations is the first step toward a compliant exhaust hood installation. This ensures that your system meets clearance requirements, CFM ratings, and fire safety standards, providing a solid foundation for your project.
2. Work with a Certified Installer
Hiring a certified professional simplifies the installation process and ensures that every aspect of the kitchen exhaust hood meets code requirements. Professionals can determine the right hood size, CFM, and duct design, making your system both effective and compliant.
3. Schedule a Pre-Installation Inspection
Consider a pre-installation inspection to verify that the planned setup meets local codes. This helps identify any necessary adjustments before the final exhaust hood installation, saving time and preventing costly rework.
Benefits of a Well-Balanced Kitchen Exhaust Hood Installation
When your kitchen exhaust hood installation is properly aligned with ventilation needs and compliance standards, you achieve improved air quality, energy efficiency, and safety. A well-installed system minimizes fire risks, lowers energy costs, and ensures that your kitchen complies with all necessary regulations, creating a more comfortable environment for staff and guests.
Balancing Safety and Efficiency
Balancing ventilation needs with regulatory compliance is crucial for a successful kitchen exhaust hood installation. By considering factors like CFM ratings, proper placement, and ductwork design, you can create a safe and efficient kitchen. Working with professionals and understanding local codes ensures that your installation meets all standards, offering peace of mind and long-term performance for your commercial kitchen.

The Forgers' Kitchen
It's very interesting to me to spot small differences between manga and anime in Spy x Family, considering how closely and faithfully the anime adapts the manga. That way, small differences stick out and sometimes I have the need to document them and share with the world!
So in the manga, the kitchen is basically a long room, with an opening on the wall that connects it to the dining area and living room.
The stove is at the far end, with the fridge on the left side.
Above the stove is a simple ventilation fan, with a cord to turn it on and off. The fridge has separate doors for the main fridge and the freezer. Comparing it to the height of the counters, it looks like it may have a base that makes it higher, judging also by this screenshot here.
It looks like to the left are the counters, and the red circle is where the fridge is. A quick search for "60s fridges" gave me this
so it's entirely possible Endo saw something like this that inspired him for the fridge design.
Finally, the sink is across the fridge, right by the opening in the wall.
A cool design, if you ask me. Washing dishes can be way more pleasant if you're facing a window or open space in general, than facing a wall.
The anime follows the design pretty closely, with two basic differences; the placement of the fridge and stove, as well as the design of the fridge.
This time, the fridge is at the far end, with the stove on the wall next to it, across the sink which is again facing the opening in the wall. The fridge is also of a different design, being the single-door type, I'm guessing with the freezer being inside it and smaller, like this.
And a small difference too. This time for ventilation there's a range hood (I hope that's the right word, I actually never had to use that word in English before so I never learned it, haha) instead of a simple vent with a fan.
It looks like the stove has three hobs, while in the manga it has four. It does, after all, only have three switches for the hobs in the manga. Though it has seven switches in the anime, with the one in the center being further from the other ones. That's a little peculiar, since the switches for the hobs would usually be close to each other, with the hobs for the oven a little further away, if there's any distance at all. In both cases, however, they are gas hobs and the stove is quite spacious!
Almost ridiculously spacious, I'd say XD Look how small Yor looks in front of it, it almost looks like it's two stoves merged together, with a combined oven space!
A few more details:
Note the Bondman magnet on the fridge! I do find the placement of the utensils weird, since they're mostly needed during cooking so you'd need them right by the stove. On the left side of this screenshot, behind Loid, you can see another small appliance. Judging from the above anime screenshot, it's missing from the anime. I checked later episodes too, and it's still not there.
At first I thought it's a microwave since it seems to have a glass window, but it looks too bulky, so I think it may be a countertop dishwasher. After all, the buttons are above the window, where dishwashers usually have them, while in microwaves it's usually next to the window. A quick search shows designs of such dishwashers that include windows to see inside, (though not from the era Spy x Family is inspired from, but I can get behind artistic liberties!).
I'm not super familiar with kitchen designs from that era, but it's certainly interesting to spot all the small details! Reminder that I don't read manga chapters that haven't been animated yet, so please don't spoil me for any further developments!

Love is a funny thing isn’t it?
There are movies and tv shows, books and podcasts, and tons and tons of songs, stories and more about the subject spanning back as long as human history has, and part of that is because trying to capture that feeling and articulate it to others is difficult as hell. The person to person experience of it is so varied, the differences can be vast or minute but all of them are there and valid, and yet, even with all these clearly laid out examples of what the conceptual idea of “love” is, he is damn sure he has never experienced it in any of the ways people have claimed that they have.
Danny doesn’t think he is capable of feeling it, not like he thinks he is missing out on anything, not when he has other things to fulfil him.
It isn’t like he doesn’t feel anything though, you make him feel some pretty big things, just ones that weren’t conventionally or typically appropriate. He got those intense feelings from a job well done, and from a victim well stalked and eventually skinned. He loved the thrill of being able to sneak around and view every sordid detail of a person’s life without them being the slightest bit aware of his existence. The getting to know you stage was always a total joy, finding all the little quirks that make a person unique, nailing down schedule, habits, before really going in, revealing himself and going in for the kill.
He has been watching you for, God, months. The window placement you have going on makes his job very easy.
You aren’t the only one he has been watching however, he normally has multiple irons in the fire while narrowing down who was worthy of his attention and who he really wanted to fuck with. You were interesting in how unassuming you were, the way you behaved at home, so quiet and looking so domestic, he couldn’t help how the thought got him so excited. He would get thoroughly amped up to choose a night, one that you would think is any other evening, and then come in and tear your whole life apart, end it, slash and cut until you are unrecognisable and that sad little life you called yours would be no more. Learning all he could about a life before he ended it made it all the sweeter.
Months of build up and tonight is the night, boots laced, hood up and knife sheathed and he was ready for an evening of fun ahead. He’d planned his way in over a month ago, found the easiest way one afternoon when you were out of the house.
It was late, after midnight, he was inside and ready as he will ever be to strike, he doesn’t think he is a nervous guy, a little too prepared and confident to have that kind of petty thing holding him back. Nerves are what the person on the end of the knife feels, not the one brandishing it.
Now, sometimes, no matter how much planning is put in, how much care is taken and how well he gets to know a victim, at times, they can be unpredictable.
He didn’t count on you getting up to fetch a glass of water from the kitchen and you and he staring at each other from across the hall. Him about to go to your bedroom and you standing just outside your door, hand still on the knob. You were just slightly shocked to see the strange man, over six feet tall and clad in black and leather and a mask and holy shit what were you going to do?
A beat and then you did something he wasn’t counting on tonight, you ran.
He wasn’t planning on a chase, he was planning on tying you to your bed while you were still passed out, and just ripping into you, cutting you from- Well it doesn’t matter because right now you were fucking booking it and he wasn’t going to let a small deviation like this stop him from being able to salvage his night and your murder.
As he started after you he thought it would be easy.
Ten minutes later when he still didn’t have a hold on you he thought otherwise, where the fuck did you learn to run like that? And that mouth of yours! You actually threw a few choice insults his way when you had locked yourself in the bathroom, he managed to get the door open but you still got around him, he wasn’t expecting any of this from meek little you and frankly it was pissing him off.
Well, not just pissing him off, you catching him so off guard, being so different than he was anticipating, than what he thought he knew you to be, it was, annoyingly hot.
He finally got you in the kitchen, cornered you, had you on the tiled floor on your back, his knees to your shoulders, holding you down firmly. Slight uptick in his breathing just as yours had from all the exertion, but now he’s got you.
Eyes locked up on that ghostly white mask and true while you felt fear, there was another feeling brewing inside of you.
The struggle in you stopped in short order when he forced his knees down harder and you groaned, your head tipping back against the floor and he said with a strong point, “You,-” A shake of his head with a breathy laugh he said your name and then, “- are a hard one to get a hold of.”
He sighed, “I wasn’t counting on that.”
A hard swallow and you asked, “How do you know my name?”
“That’s your biggest concern? Not how did the big scary man get into my house?” He asked and you had to give it up, he had a good fucking point. He spoke before you could, “I learned your name a while ago, been getting to know you, watching a while.”
“Watching?” You asked and he hummed, he sounded amused as he pulled out the coiled rope he brought,, “I like to watch, what can I say? I know what I like.”
A creepy, stalker with a voyuer kink, you really lucked out, didn’t you? When it rains it pours.
He reached down, began to secure and tie your hands together, movements practised and confident, “I had the whole thing figured out but then you just had to give me the run around. Do you know how fucking annoying that shit is?”
He tightened the ropes and you winced at the bite of them into your wrists, he didn’t stop, his tone was sharp, venom practically dripping from every syllable, “I didn’t think you had it in you! I thought I had you all fucking figured out but you managed to really surprise me. But, funny thing about me that you’d have no way of knowing-”
He leaned down and said the last part, his mask almost an inch away from your face, “-I don’t like surprises.”
He was angry, legitimately pissed off but still, very into this, he didn't want to let on to it, the last thing you needed was to know that small tidbit, he was hard as hell and as soon as you felt that it might just give it away. He pulled back, finished tying up your hands and he was still talking, “Who the fuck do you think you are that you think you can get away with acting like this? Fucking up MY night?”
“YOUR night?” You asked incredulously and he said, “Yes! My night! I’ve been planning this for you don’t even want to know how long and you are acting like a fucking brat and ruining this, your body, this body-”
He reached out, a leather glove clad hand reached out and gripped your throat, your whole body tensed under him, your breath caught and his other hand latched onto the blade’s handle. He unsheathed the blade and brought it down, “-is merely where I am putting my fucking knife, a vessel for my art and for my entertainment, it is not actually about you but what YOU, give to ME in this exchange.-” The knife was pressed right under your jaw as he squeezed your throat and he gritted out, “Stop being selfish and making your murder all about you.”
He stopped, he was so focused on how angry he was, on verbally berating you that he was only just now focusing on your expression and more importantly how it had shifted. You were flush, pupils dilated, panting and you were squirming, thighs rubbing together and it struck him, he tested it. He squeezed your throat and your eyes rolled back with a moan and he laughed, “Holy shit you are into this!”
A very nervous laugh spilled out, you rushed to defend yourself, “Ha! What? No! God, no-”
He pressed the blade closer and you whine pitifully and he accuses, “You are!” You try to protest more but he talked right over you, “Oh my fucking God, and here I thought I knew you! What else are you hiding from me, hmm? I’m gonna have to figure it out for myself because you are clearly no help.”
He moved off of you and he let go of your throat, he started to manhandle you and paw at your body to manoeuvre you, he knew it hurt, he wasn’t being anything near gentle but you were loving it, leaning closer. He said it in this fascinating combination of delighted and mocking, “Freak, you are a total fucking mess.”
He sighed and when he looked up, seeing something that gave him an idea, “You know, I’m still annoyed from before, I think you deserve some serious consequences.”
A questioning sound leaving you and his hand came down, a hard hit on your ass, a barely held back moan from you and he said, “Shut up, idiot.”
He got up and said firmly, “Stay slut.”
Like you could go anywhere even if you wanted to when he forced you face down ass up with your wrists tied, you were exhausted from the chase earlier too so even if you were unencumbered and in a better pose, any chance at escape was nil.
You heard him get something from off the kitchen counter and then he was back on his knees beside you, he put whatever he got down and then both hands were yanking your thin pyjama bottoms down over the curve of your ass. Another laugh rings out, his fingers hooked in your panties and he tugged, you feel his thumb rub over the crotch he had to practically peel off of you, “You’re fucking drenched-” He sing songed out the last part, reminding you again of the obvious, “-you love this.”
He was right. Your cheek was resting on your forearm, face burning with shame, you did fucking love this. How he chased you, talked to you, taunted you verbally and with his knife, spanking you, somehow he managed to tick all your boxes without even realising it at first. You feel the smooth leather of his glove on your ass after he let go of your panties, and another hard hit, another jolt of pain, “So! What else are you into?”
You keep your mouth shut and he tsk’d, “You could hardly shut up when I was chasing you and now you clam up. Shame. I guess I’ll have to figure it out all on my own…”
A pause, tension inside you builds and he says, “I did notice you seem to enjoy my knife, so I got to thinking, and it’s not always true but in the case I think that maybe bigger-”
You now know what he got from your counter. He stole the meat cleaver from your knife block and was now holding it in your line of vision, “-is better.”
A shiver ran through you before the whisper of, “Wha-what are you gonna do with that?”
He laughs, “You’ll find out soon enough.”
The cleaver is pulled back and true to his word you weren’t left in the dark for long about what he had planned with it. You feel a hand resting on your lower back, and then feel it, the large plane of ice cold steel meeting your bare ass cheek and you yelp in pain and shock. Another hit and then another and the pained sounds change, shift, and yep, you are into it and it is obvious and you are totally fucked. He is using the cleaver as a makeshift paddle to punish you, it was extremely painful, unrelenting, covered a ton of surface area in one hit, he was strong and could put a lot of power behind it too.
“You’re dripping down your thigh.” You feel him wipe some of it up, “Maybe you have more potential than I thought, disgusting thing that you are, I wonder what else you’d be into.”
Another hit and a much bigger shock of pain to your system, the edge caught you when he pulled back, he cut the back of your thigh, right before the meat of your ass started and you hissed, a suck of your teeth as tears welled up, voice wavering, “Did you cut me?”
You asked it without thinking and he laughed, “Oops.”
Another hit and you moaned, fingers curl, you wish you had something to hold onto and he didn’t fucking stop. The guy clearly had experience with knives, you are sure the cuts that he continues to give you are all on purpose, the pretending they were an accident was part of the bit.
Between your legs, the backs of your thighs were a total fucking wreck, slick and sweat and blood, you were crying into your forearm’s sleeve and he hadn’t stopped with the creative insults, and you were loving every fucked up second of it.
“How many hits was that?” He asked and you were still crying into damp fabric and he repeated himself, louder, “I asked you a question, whore.”
You were supposed to be counting this whole time? You sniffed, lifting your head slightly, “I-I wasn’t-I-”
“You didn’t keep count?” A hard hit, you cried out in pain and he admonished you further, “Fuck. You are totally useless.”
He brought the cleaver down, hard, right next to your head, he cracked the tile in the process, the sound and action made you jump. “Awe, scared?”
Not wanting to piss him off further, you say, “Yes.”
His response was only one word but it’s all he needed. “Good.”
Hands were back on you, “Look at all this.” His fingers trailed through the dripping blood he drew from you earlier, and then he managed to do something to surprise you, glove covered fingers dragged up through your folds and you gasped in shock. After so much pain the sudden rush of pleasure hit you like a ton of bricks and stole all the breath from your lungs.
A moan crosses your lips as his fingers dropped back down, he rubbed your clit, the slickness of your blood acting as lube as he touched, you leaned back, closer to him and he said, “You’d never guess how depraved you are just by looking at you.”
His digits slide back up, two fingers delve inside and he starts to finger your own blood into you, a loud moan tears out, your head falls forward as he hooks his fingers and finds that sweet spot inside that makes you gasp. He sounds very amused as he teases, “Too easy.”
And you feel him press his hips forward and you feel how hard he is, “You feel what you’re doing to me by acting like such a little nympho? Taking all this with an arch and a moan, you are so fucked-”
He continued to rock his fingers inside of you, focusing on that same spot and you are taken by all of this, head nearly spinning from how tonight has gone, the lingering pain, the searing pleasure, weak, you felt very weak. Fingers fucking in and out, his thumb stroking tight circles around your clit making your writhe.
His fingers leave you rather unceremoniously and you whine, another hit on your already bruised ass and you sob, he spits out, “Stop bitching.”
You hear his pants opening and then feel him press to you, hard and unbelievably hot. “Got any cute comments or complaints?”
A weak shake of your head and he asked, “You want it?”
You did, you nod with a bite of your bottom lip and he said, sickeningly saccharine, “Course you do.”
Thankfully he didn’t make you beg but he seemed pretty riled up too. His hips slam forward, making you take him all at once and you cry out against the floor, the sudden burn and stretch overtakes but there is no time to linger, his hips move, no time for you to adjust.
“Fuckkk-you act like such a slut but you don’t feel like one.” His hands gripping your hips, he started to really take, fucking into you quicker, harder. It’s disgusting, filthy, you feel like it too, he was your stalker, he broke in here to kill you for Christ’s sake and you are getting fucked dumb by him and you were…
Living for it, loving it, of course you were.
You have given up any pretence of pretending that you aren’t into it, not like you can hide it, he can feel you clenching on him, hear you moaning, feel you moving back onto him. “You are so stupid-”
You agree, unthinking, just concerned with the pleasure coursing through you, steadily building, the mix of it with the pain from every slam of his hips into your ass, aggravating the cuts, making them weep more blood was doing everything for you. “M’ so stupid-”
“You wanna know why?” He asked, another thrust punctuated with a moan and you bite, “Yea-yeah, God, yeah.”
“Because you think I’m still not gonna kill you-”
You gasp, dragged ever closer to the edge and a loud moan is pulled from him, followed by a laugh, “Fuck! You just clenched THAT hard from the threat of death. It’s got me wondering something-”
He reached out, he picked up the cleaver and leans over, his chest to your back, his hand comes around, he holds the cleaver to your throat and he says, “I wonder how hard you’d squeeze me if I cut your fucking throat right now.”
He pressed harder and you couldn't stop it, eyes squeezed shut, you can barely hear it through the haze as your orgasm overtook, positive it might be the last thing you ever do, him taking you cumming as consent, he asks the obvious, your body has already sealed your fate, “You wanna find out?”
Again, Danny doesn’t think love is for him, doesn’t think he can feel it. But swinging that cleaver with a little force, slashing into your throat, causing it to break open before you’ve come down from your orgasm. Blood pouring out over the blade, over his wrist and down onto the tile, your cunt still twitching and then seizing impossibly tight on his dick while he is buried balls deep, making him unable to pull out, is pretty fucking close to what he imagines love feels like for “normal people.”
Cumming in a victim at the moment of death is the ultimate high, he thinks he might just never top it. If you were still alive or conscious or able to hear him he’d thank you.

summary: In the eve of 2050, Spider-Woman is New York’s vigilante trying to maintain order in a revolting society, soon to collapse. The only reason to keep going is the hope for change, as the darkest hour is just before the dawn, but an unexpected turn of events will result in more than just New York to watch over.
(Contains some elements and references I gathered off other pieces of media to inspire the universe and, vaguely, the character.)

Chapter 1
There's no rush hour in Brooklyn, I knew there used to be one, but now every hour of the day is rush hour. The smog blocks my vision just about two cars away, and the acidic rain precipitates over my head as I try to get by, it's way too dark for this early in this afternoon. My hood covers most of my face, as I get by looking down and swiftly dodging the congested mass of people. It's as if I roamed aimlessly, I don't seem to have a fixed sense of direction, I just move where the crowd takes me, knowing I will get to where I need to. My bloodshot eyes try to stay open, I have to push myself. The commotion tells me the insurrection has rised near. I try to push my senses as I look around for instigation, but I soon sense a hand of threatning proximity to my shoulder. I turn rapidly, only to look up to the figure of a police officer on the robust side, who pulls off my hood as he looks down at me with a frown. "We don't need you here. We're taking care of it alright." He hissed at me furrowing his brows.
Now why would he assume I was there to help, out of all the things? Easy, I was dressed the part..
Let's do this one last time,
For my name... there's some people who would pay a lot of money for that information, but you'll figure it out eventually.
I was bitten by a radioactive spider, and for the last two and a half years I've been the one and only Spider-Woman.
I saved a bunch of people, saved the city, saved the city, saved the city... saved the city, you know how it goes.
Some would love the phylantropist role of being a vigilante with superpowers, but I can't say I wanted this for me. However I did embrace it, eventually, and learnt to cope with the fact that we are not always faced with choices, even with who we want to be.
Her fingers typed in a code almost by muscle memory, completing the facial registry. The sound of a familiar voice greeted her as usual, her AI continuing to list her schedule for the day. The apartment was furnished with warm-colored elements that tried to give a cozy sensation, almost enough to allow it's only inhabitant to forget how grey it always was outside. And while it was very unkept, it was equiped with only the necessary to provide strictly physical comfort, being visually and aesthetically very lacking. It contrasted immensely with the constricted streets of Brooklyn, where the compact spaces everywhere had always demanded her great speed and reflexes to get around. There was almost too much space, which could only be filled with gear, cables and other gadgets spread around it in a disordered manner. The main room could only lead to two places, the kitchen or the bedroom, which had a bathroom within it. These two spaces were hardly homey, as everything else in the apartment was stocked in them without necessarily belonging to them, further contributing to the clutter. The hollowness of the living room contrasted with the desk of strange placement, situated in the middle of the room. While despite it's size not being big enough to cramp the room, it certainly contasted with the aesthetic, as it contained multiple devices of different sizes and functions. Screens, a computer, and other gadgets placed somewhat strategically over it. She sat herself as she commanded her home-AI to prepare her a meal, carefully revising what her suit's memory gear had registered of her day. Maintaining her attention on the projection on the screens, she typed without looking on the computer by her side, carrying out a registry of relevant events. It had become routinary, however the pressure of the job rised slowly but steadily, society was aiming for change.
If one were to simplify the overall societal structure almost comically, it could be compared to a pendulum, and in 2049, society had already begun to swing back, meaning it was starting to aim for change. But change can't come easily and peacefully, humanity hasn't reached that level yet, and the rise of industrialization and veneration of technology had begun to be rejected after reaching it's historical peak. The masses had grown tired of exploitation and irreversible pollution of all kinds, the streets were crowded with harmful lights from the amounts of screens and holograms that had rapidly conquered any habited environment. The average person spent more than ninety percent of their waking life staring at a screen, and the damage was such, that most left their houses wearing glasses with light-blockage lenses to mitigate the headaches these screens produced. Everyone worked to consume, and to further slave themselves away to a technology that did not benefit them, finally reaching the breaking point. The rise in riots and violent manifestations had become a regularly growing issue, and through some of these somewhat well-intentioned movements also rised dangerously powerful instigators and organizers, generating the second biggest crime wave of New York in the twenty-first century. The aim was no longer peace, it was simply keeping order, and sometimes order meant some sacrifices in the name of greater good. As much as it could be a naturally hard concept to assimilate for most common people, being Spider-Woman meant she could not afford to hold herself up to the standards of the average citizen, she had to go a step further. A responsibility she did not choose, but was hers to handle. Carrying the name of Spider-Woman meant she had to push herself, and to always reach the apex of her performance in the field, in the name of greater good. But it was certainly a lonely working field, as far as she was concerned there was no other "bitten by a radioactive spider so I saw myself forced to become a superhero" people, at least in New York. If there were to be more radioactive spider-bitten people, she could certainly see why they wouldn't choose the role she did, with the state the city was in, and with no indications of getting better anytime soon despite her efforts, most people in her situation would become reclusive or simply exploit it to gain power. Ever since she was bitten she had assumed this was the only possible outcome for Spider-Woman, a good intentioned hero guided by the motivation of making her home a better place, but as time advanced and her role only seemed to put her in situations of loss, she began to assume it as more of a facade to camouflage the potential guilt behind the idea of holding so much power to use for good and doing nothing about it. And while one could attribute her losses to collaterals of such a risky job, she felt this strengthened her character in a way, and found it motivating to continue pursuing her unconventionally good deeds.
She had been working on her suit's improvements for months now, and gearing up to be able to sustain not only the harsh environmental conditions of being outside, but also maximize her effectiveness. With time and experience she learnt that a suit that protected her from acid rain and the effects of smog on her skin was almost indispensable, as the long term exposure to them had caused her some damage back in the day. Forced to develop protective material from repellent nanoparticles strong enough to block any form of pollution from filtering in and coming in contact with her skin, and with the help of some theft from Alchemax's latest developments and testing subjects, which is a detail mostly omitted for moral reasons, she was able to somewhat acheive said goal, and diminish the effect the smog and acid rain had been having on her skin. She had also exhaustively worked many sleepless nights for her mask's 'eyes' to be able to capture high-resolution footage on command, synchronizing it with her AI to compile everything to her computer. As she sat on her desk, carefully analyzing the footage loaded and working on her ID software, she shifted her attention sporadically from screen to screen, trying to keep track of everything and everyone she saw. She quickly got to the part where the police officer stopped her and attempted to block her way. She watched how the screen reproduced the recently occurred events, and squinted as she watched herself web up from the lane on top of them, soon loosing sight of the officer and crawling on it as she looked down to the riot. She would often pause, zoom, make identification of the most active figures in the conflict, registrating language spoken and features. She cursed under her breath whenever the picture was unsteady and failed to identify subjects, which was most of the times, signaling that she needed to work on the frames per second of her video. She continued her routinary analysis of footage when a sudden anomalous figure quickly captured her attention. She typed in commands on the big screen in front of her and rapidly receded a few seconds, zooming in on a strangely not-conflictive yet captivating white silhouette. She analyzed it's movements on each frame, trying to see anything that could help her identify it under it's coat and hat. The white silhouette moved briskly, dodging the police and agitators alike. Whatever that was, it seemed like it wanted nothing to do with anyone or anything there, and walked like it was in a rush. What caught her attention the most, was that it seemed to have no face, at least the video lacked enough pixels to identify any shade caused by features of the face, adding another layer to the mystery. Soon enough, it disappeared out of the frame, and went unnoticed by her while she swung into the conflict. She audibly groaned as her eyebrows furrowed, the few frames in which the mysterious figure appeared were unable to make any identification, not because of the incompetence of her device, but rather the unusual lack of a face the figure had. The software identified people based on facial features, so even if she were to have this being right in front of her, she would probably be unable to identify it.
She rocked in her rolling chair, her sharp nails scratching the back of her neck. Exhausted and confused, she felt like she was burning braincells thinking of how to find it again. Clearly easy to spot in a crowd, but in a city of a million crowds, it's hard to coincide in the same place, at the same time, in the same crowd. It was a tough coincidence that would take a miracle to get.

Slight Yandere!Master Kohga x Reader SMUT
(Story topic from a prompt done by another creator)
Y/n's POV
The scent of caramelized sugar wafted through the Yiga hideout. Slipping on some baking mits, I grab my confection creation and use my hip to close the over door before setting down my sweet treats onto the counter.
I began to add a few finishing touches to the banana scones I made. As I dust some powdered sugar along the scones I feel someone's warm breath against my neck. With my insanely fast thinking and reflexes. I grabbed the closest thing to me that could be used as a weapon which just so happened to be a fork.
I spin around and bring my arm down to stab whoever it was that snuck up on me, but they were much faster. Suddenly I'm pushed back and pinned against the counter. My face flushes at how close I am to my attacker.
I look up to see a familiar... Mask? My eyes widen. "M-master Kohga!?" I squeak. I quickly noticed the placement of his hands. One on my hips and the other pinning my wrists above my head. "I am so sorry! I didn't know it was you." The words spill from my lips.
I hear him chuckle behind his mask. It was deeper than I expected, almost raspy. It was very attractive. "Good reflexes, your choice of weapon was poor but that can easily be fixed." He stated with that same deep voice. It sent shivers down my spine.
Kohga released my wrists but his hand lingered on my hip causing my flustered heart to beat faster. He pulled away completely and I felt a pang of sadness run through me but quickly brushed it off.
"Since you tried to attack me I see that it's only fair for me to have the first scone." I sigh and nod. "Yeah. Again, I'm sorry Master Kohga. I didn't know it was you." I turn around and pick up one of the scones and hand one to him. "Careful, they are still a little warm." I warn him.
He lifted his mask slightly and I quickly advert my eyes out of respect. Though I would greatly like to see his face. I hear a light groan of happiness from Kohga making my skin tingle. "You don't have to look away. I trust you and Sooga enough to see my face." I was awestruck.
I turn and watch as he locks the kitchen door before taking off his mask and hood. His hair was a deep charcoal black down to his ears. He had a four 'o clock shadow also black. His left eye was brown but his right eye was red. I realized I was staring and quickly looked away.
"Thank you. It's an honor, Master Kohga." He finished his scone and licked the left over sugar from his fingers before turning his gaze to me. He walked over to me and I moved out of the way thinking he wanted another scone. He raised an eyebrow and walked closer to me.
I realize I was against the wall and he gently pushed me back and placed one of his hands on his hip and the other on my mask which was black and red and only covered my mouth and nose. "May I?" He asked. My breath hitched and I nod. He pulled my mask down and left it to hang around my neck before brushing his fingers across my lips.
I parted my lips and he leaned in capturing my lips with his and put his hand on the back of my neck pulling me closer. A small noise escaped me and he chuckled into the kiss. I felt like I was in heaven. Unfortunately we had to pull away for air.
As I was catching my breath Kohga moved to my neck, gently kissing and biting. I let out a moan as he hit my sweet spot and felt him nudge my legs apart, pressing his knee against my core.
"K-kohga~" I moaned. "I've been watching you since you got here, Y/n. I tried to convince myself this feeling was just a crush, but when one of my lackeys began flirting with you... Let's just say he's no longer with us." He chuckled darkly.
My eyes widened. "Tell me, sweetheart. Do you want this as bad as I do?" He questioned, pulling back to see my face. I nod with heavy eyes. "Goddess yes." I breathe. He smirked and pulled me against him. I felt an odd sensation surrounding my body before it settled and I was pushed back.
I braced to hit the wall but I fell further and hit a soft bed instead. Kohga climbed on top of me and pinned my wrists above my head with one hand and used the other to gently knead my breast. Another moan escaped my mouth but it was cut off by his lips.
After a moment he pulled away. "As much as I would love hearing you call me Master, id rather hear you scream my name." He grinned. I blush and nod, unable to formulate words. I decide to get a little cocky and use my training to flip Kohga over.
I let my fingers find his belt and unbuckle it before carefully pulling down his pants. Kohga sat up and watched as I gently palmed him through his boxers. I could see the tent forming and giggled softly. "Hey, what are you laughing at?" He asked. "Nothing! I'm just excited." I quickly respond.
I pull his boxers down and his Cock sprung out. He wasn't too big but he wasn't by any means small either. It was perfect. Perfect length, perfect size. I look up for permission and he nods. I gently lick the tip that's glazed with precum and he lets out a low moan. I feel myself getting wetter at the sound.
Taking his tip into my mouth I gently suck and begin taking in more. Kohga's hand makes its way into my hair. "Fuck, sweetheart. Just like that." I gain more confidence in his praise and take him completely into my mouth until his tip reaches the back of my throat and my nose touches his pubic bone.
I let him guide me by my hair and bob up and down to his own pace. I feel his body stiffen when he pulls me off of him. A string of saliva connecting my lips to his tip. "Damn, sweetheart. As much as I want you to keep going I've been dreaming of being inside you." With that he easily flips us and starts working on my pants. I help him with my belt and he slides them off.
I feel his wet tip against my soaking core beneath the tiny fabric that is my panties and moan. Kohga kneeled down and hooked his fingers into my panties, pulling them down. I gasp as the chilly night air hits my core.
"Fuck, Y/n. You're soaked..." Before I could respond I felt his tongue slide through my folds and cried out in pleasure. "K-kohga! Fuck that feels so good." He chuckled, the vibrations driving me crazy. Suddenly I feel one of his fingers gently slide inside and gasp at the foreign feeling. "O~ooh."
"Damn, you're tight. Is this your first time sweetheart?" He asked, keeping his finger still for a moment. "Yes, but I trust you and I want you to be my first." I admit. He gently began thrusting his finger in and out causing me to let out little gasps and moans.
"You're doing so well for me, sweetheart, think you can take another finger?" He questioned and I whined needily. He chuckled and slid in another finger, carefully thrusting in and out. Out of nowhere I feel his tongue against my clit and I almost scream from the blinding white pleasure it causes.
I buck my hips against his tongue and fingers desperately and just as I was about to release, he pulled away completely. I let out a needy whine causing him to laugh lightly.
"Calm down, I'm just getting started." Kohga moved up and pressed his lips against mine as he carefully lined himself up. "Are you ready?" He asked. I nod quickly and let out a short breathy scream as he entered me. "Oh, fuck sweetheart. You're perfect." I blush and focus on the pleasure that is overriding the slight pain.
"Let me know when you are ready." He whispered in my ear gently kissing my neck. I let out a few deep breaths until the pain subsided. "Okay." Kohga pulls out before thrusting back in and setting a pleasurable pace. "Ah~ F-fuck, Kohga! It feels so good." I cry out and press my blushing face into his neck.
"Fuck, sweetheart. Everything about you is perfect. From your cooking to your body to your personality. It's all mine. You are mine, got it?" He growled as he quickened his pace causing me to moan and smile at his words. I feel my stomach begin to tighten again as stars danced before my eyes.
"K-kohga! I'm so close." I moan out. "Me too, tell me you belong to me and we'll cum together, sweetheart." He said breathlessly, gently moving my thighs over his shoulder moving deeper inside. "H-aaahh, I-im yours Kohga. Ah!" He smashed his lips against mine hungrily and I came undone.
"Kohga!" I cried out. "Y/n." He groaned releasing inside of me. He slowed down and gently rode our orgasms out. Once I came down from my high, Kohga carefully pulled out. I notice the blood on him and his bed and quickly apologize.
"Shit! I'm sorry Kohga." He looked down and chuckled. "It's fine, sweetheart. It can be washed." I nuzzled into his neck as exhaustion began to over take my mind. Kohga gently kissed my forehead. "Go to sleep, Sweetheart. I've got you." I smiled and closed my eyes, sleep quickly overtaking my tired body.
Thank you so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed it.

Effortless Kitchen Redesign: Key Strategies for a Successful Remodel
Remodeling your kitchen can be one of the most exciting yet challenging home improvement projects. With careful planning, you can create a functional and stylish space that enhances the heart of your home. At WeDezine, we’ve managed numerous kitchen renovations, and here’s our expert advice for ensuring your kitchen remodel goes as smoothly as possible.
1. Define Your Vision
Before starting your renovation, take the time to clarify your vision. Reflect on the limitations of your current kitchen and consider your lifestyle needs. Ask yourself:
Do I need more storage?
What type of countertop will best suit my cooking habits?
Should I invest in energy-efficient appliances?
Additionally, decide on a style—whether modern, rustic, or minimalist—so you have a clear aesthetic direction throughout the design process.
2. Set a Realistic Budget
Kitchen remodels can vary widely in cost, making it essential to establish a clear budget. Break down your budget by prioritizing key areas, such as quality cabinetry and durable countertops. Be sure to account for unexpected expenses, as they often arise during renovations.
3. Plan the Layout for Functionality
The layout is crucial in kitchen design. The “kitchen work triangle”—which optimizes the distance between the sink, stove, and refrigerator—can guide your layout decisions. A functional layout reduces unnecessary steps, maximizes space, and promotes an efficient cooking flow.
Consider these popular layouts:
L-shaped: Ideal for small kitchens, offering flexibility in appliance placement.
U-shaped: Great for larger spaces, providing ample storage and counter space.
Galley: Maximizes efficiency and is suitable for narrow kitchens.
4. Choose Durable Materials
Kitchens endure heavy use, so investing in quality materials is vital. Opt for materials that are both durable and easy to maintain. For example:
Countertops: Quartz, granite, and solid surface materials are long-lasting and come in various colors and patterns.
Cabinets: Choose solid wood or high-quality plywood with durable finishes.
Flooring: Consider ceramic tile, vinyl, or engineered wood, which can withstand spills, stains, and heavy foot traffic.
5. Prioritize Lighting
Good lighting is essential in a kitchen—not just for visibility but also for safety and atmosphere. Plan for three main types of lighting:
Ambient Lighting: General ceiling lights to illuminate the entire space.
Task Lighting: Focused lighting under cabinets or above countertops where food preparation occurs.
Accent Lighting: To highlight features, such as glass cabinet doors or decorative elements.
Layering these types of lighting will create a balanced and inviting kitchen environment.
6. Maximize Storage with Smart Solutions
Storage is a top priority in any kitchen remodel. Explore smart storage options to keep your kitchen organized and clutter-free:
Pull-out shelves: Ideal for accessing items at the back of cabinets.
Deep drawers: Great for storing pots, pans, and larger kitchen items.
Corner cabinets: Consider lazy Susans or pull-out racks to utilize corner spaces effectively.
Custom-built solutions can also help maximize your kitchen's unique dimensions and requirements.
7. Select Energy-Efficient Appliances
Upgrading to energy-efficient appliances can save you money over time and reduce your environmental impact. Look for ENERGY STAR-labeled appliances that consume less energy and water. These appliances often come with advanced features that enhance convenience, such as smart connectivity or precise temperature controls.
8. Ensure Adequate Ventilation
Proper ventilation is essential for maintaining a fresh and odor-free kitchen. A high-quality range hood will effectively remove smoke, grease, and cooking fumes, preserving indoor air quality. In larger kitchens, you may also consider additional ventilation options, such as exhaust fans or operable windows.
9. Focus on Details and Finishing Touches
The right finishing touches can tie your kitchen design together. Elements like cabinet hardware, backsplash tiles, and faucet styles significantly impact the overall aesthetic. Choose details that complement your vision and consider functional hardware, such as soft-close drawers or touchless faucets, to enhance your daily experience.
10. Collaborate with Experienced Professionals
Lastly, collaborating with professionals who understand your vision can make all the difference in achieving a seamless kitchen remodel. Interior designers and contractors bring valuable experience to navigate challenges, from design adjustments to technical installations. Choosing the Perfect Kitchen Appliances for Your Home
Selecting the right kitchen appliances is essential for creating a functional, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing kitchen. With countless options available, it's important to consider your cooking habits and space requirements. This guide will help you navigate your choices and ensure you select appliances that meet your needs and lifestyle. Whether you're designing a new kitchen or upgrading existing ones, we’ll explore the key factors to consider when choosing the perfect appliances for your home.
What Should You Consider Before Buying a Built-in Oven?
An oven built-in is a fantastic option for a seamless kitchen look. Before purchasing one, consider the size of your family and your cooking habits. A larger oven might be ideal if you bake frequently or host gatherings often. Think about the placement—do you prefer the oven at eye level or below the countertop? Moreover, ensure the oven has multiple cooking functions to accommodate your needs, such as convection cooking for even heat distribution.
Energy efficiency is another crucial factor. Look for models with high energy ratings to save on electricity. You’ll also want to ensure the oven fits into the allocated cabinet space. Lastly, pay attention to maintenance—easy-to-clean interiors and self-cleaning options will save you time and effort.
Why is a Built-in Cooker a Smart Investment?
A built-in cooker combines the benefits of both a stove and oven, making it a practical solution for those who need versatility in their kitchen. It seamlessly integrates into the kitchen layout, saving counter space and enhancing the overall design. When selecting a built-in cooker, consider how many burners you need. Some models offer up to six burners, which can benefit families that cook large meals regularly.
The material of the cooktop is also essential. Induction and ceramic glass cooktops are modern and easy to clean, while gas burners provide precise temperature control. Safety features, like flame failure protection and child locks, should also be on your checklist, especially if you have young children at home.
How Do Microwave Ovens Enhance Kitchen Convenience?
A microwave oven is no longer just for reheating leftovers; today’s models come with advanced features, including grilling and baking. Microwaves are ideal for busy households, offering quick solutions for cooking meals and defrosting ingredients. When choosing a microwave oven, consider the size and capacity. Compact models are perfect for smaller kitchens, while larger units can accommodate family-sized meals.
Many modern microwave ovens come with sensor cooking technology, which adjusts time and temperature based on the type of food being prepared. This feature ensures optimal results without requiring constant monitoring. You may also want to opt for a built-in model to save space on your countertop while giving your kitchen a sleek, modern look.
What Role Do Built-in Hoods Play in Kitchen Ventilation?
built in hoods are essential for keeping your kitchen fresh and odor-free. They extract smoke, grease, and fumes, ensuring a clean environment while you cook. A well-functioning hood also prevents the buildup of grease on surfaces, making maintenance easier. When choosing a built-in hood, consider the suction power; higher suction rates are recommended for kitchens with heavy cooking, particularly those that involve frying and grilling.
Noise levels are another aspect to look at, as some hoods can be quite loud. Opt for models with lower decibel ratings to maintain a peaceful kitchen environment. Additionally, many built-in hoods come with LED lighting, which can brighten your cooking space and improve visibility. Look for designs that match your kitchen's style, ensuring both functionality and aesthetics are well balanced.
Choosing the right kitchen appliances requires a blend of functionality, aesthetics, and practicality. From the sleek integration of a built-in cooker to the convenience offered by a microwave oven, each appliance uniquely enhances your kitchen’s efficiency. A built-in oven provides flexibility for your cooking needs, while built-in hoods ensure the space stays clean and fresh. By carefully considering your needs and preferences, you can create a kitchen that looks great and serves as a perfect culinary hub for your home.

How Professional Installers Guarantee Fire Safety Compliance in Your Kitchen
Proper kitchen exhaust hood installation is essential for maintaining fire safety in both residential and commercial kitchens. Trained installers play a crucial role in ensuring your kitchen ventilation system meets all necessary fire safety standards, helping to reduce the risk of fire hazards. In this article, we’ll explore how professional installers ensure your kitchen exhaust hood is installed correctly and in compliance with local fire safety regulations.
The Role of Trained Installers in Kitchen Exhaust Hood Installation
When it comes to kitchen exhaust hood installation, trained professionals are equipped with the knowledge of ventilation systems and fire safety protocols. They follow specific guidelines to ensure the exhaust hood is installed properly, allowing for the effective removal of heat, smoke, and grease-laden vapors. This not only helps your kitchen run efficiently but also protects it from fire risks.
How Trained Installers Ensure Fire Safety Compliance
Professional installers help ensure your kitchen meets fire safety standards in the following ways:
Proper Ductwork Installation: Ducts must be made of fire-resistant materials and positioned to promote efficient airflow. Trained installers ensure the ducts are properly configured to minimize grease buildup, a leading cause of kitchen fires.
Correct Grease Filter Placement: Grease filters capture grease-laden vapors before they reach the duct system. Improper installation of these filters can lead to grease accumulation, increasing fire risks. Professionals ensure filters are installed and maintained according to fire safety regulations.
Integration of Fire Suppression Systems: In commercial kitchens, fire suppression systems are often required alongside the exhaust hood. Trained installers ensure these systems are correctly integrated, allowing them to quickly extinguish fires if necessary.
Compliance with NFPA 96: NFPA 96 is the national standard for ventilation control and fire protection in commercial cooking operations. Trained installers ensure your kitchen exhaust hood complies with NFPA 96, reducing fire risks and ensuring legal compliance.
Benefits of Hiring Trained Installers for Kitchen Exhaust Hood Installation
By choosing trained professionals for kitchen exhaust hood installation, you gain several benefits:
Fire Hazard Prevention: Professionals follow fire safety protocols, ensuring proper installation of all components to minimize fire risks in the kitchen.
Compliance with Local Codes: Trained installers ensure your kitchen ventilation system meets all relevant local fire safety codes, helping you avoid fines or shutdowns.
Improved System Efficiency: Proper installation ensures your ventilation system operates efficiently, keeping the kitchen air clean and reducing fire risks.
Long-Term Safety: Professional installers offer guidance on maintaining your kitchen exhaust system for long-term compliance with fire safety standards.
Conclusion
Trained professionals are essential to ensuring your kitchen exhaust hood installation is completed correctly and in compliance with fire safety regulations. By hiring skilled installers, you can protect your kitchen from fire hazards, improve system efficiency, and ensure long-term safety. Don’t compromise on fire safety—choose professional installation to safeguard your kitchen.

Common Kitchen Remodeling Mistakes and How to Avoid Them
A kitchen remodel has the power to completely refresh your home, but it’s easy to stumble into mistakes that can delay your project or inflate your budget. Whether you’re diving into a DIY venture or bringing in professionals, being mindful of common errors can make all the difference in achieving a smooth, successful renovation. Let’s explore some of the key missteps and how you can avoid them to create the perfect kitchen space.
Overlooking the Full Scope of Costs
A common pitfall in kitchen remodeling is underestimating the true financial commitment. While it’s tempting to focus on exciting upgrades like sleek countertops or custom cabinetry, it’s essential to account for less obvious expenses, such as electrical rewiring, plumbing changes, or unexpected structural repairs. Planning for these hidden costs and building a buffer into your budget will help you avoid surprises down the line. Aligning your ambitions with your financial plan ensures your dream kitchen remains within reach without causing stress.
Prioritizing Looks Over Function
While everyone dreams of a stunning kitchen, placing aesthetics above practicality can lead to long-term regrets. Eye-catching features may draw attention, but if they hinder your daily cooking routine, they may not be worth it. Always consider how your choices will impact usability—whether it’s storage solutions, appliance placement, or countertop space. A thoughtfully designed kitchen strikes the perfect balance between beauty and functionality, ensuring it’s not only visually impressive but also works seamlessly with your lifestyle.
Neglecting Proper Ventilation
Ventilation is one of those aspects of a kitchen remodel that’s often overlooked, but it plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, comfortable space. Without proper ventilation, your kitchen can quickly become a haven for lingering odors, moisture buildup, and poor air quality. Installing an effective range hood or exhaust system helps to keep your kitchen environment healthy and odor-free, especially when cooking. By prioritizing proper airflow, you’ll create a space that’s both comfortable to be in and easier to maintain.
Underestimating the Importance of Lighting
Lighting is often one of the last things people think about during a remodel, but it can make or break the final outcome. The right lighting not only enhances the functionality of your kitchen but also sets the tone and mood of the space. Layering different types of lighting—like task lighting for countertops and ambient lighting to create warmth—ensures your kitchen feels welcoming and practical. A well-thought-out lighting plan brightens your space, making it not only more enjoyable to use but also more visually appealing.

Out of Bounds - Chapter 34
STORY PAGE
Word Count: 3910
"I got a job!" I told Harry Tuesday afternoon on the phone. I knew he was getting ready to head out the door for work, so I wanted to catch him.
"That's great!" he exclaimed. "When do you start?"
"Tomorrow. They need someone right away, but they're wiling to take me half a day until school's out."
"Wonderful. I'm so happy for you, love."
"Thanks," I beamed.
On Monday I had gone to the temp agency to speak with a woman there about possible job placement. She sent me on an interview on Tuesday after school with a small real estate office. I felt like the interview had gone well, and by four o'clock I'd gotten the call that I had the job. I was so incredibly relieved.
"I'm off tomorrow so when you get home, I'll take you out to celebrate," said Harry. "Our Japanese restaurant if you'd like."
"Yes, I'd like that," I replied.
Soon after I hung up the phone, Penny arrived home. I told her the good news as soon as she walked through the door.
"Oh, I'm so happy for you, baby doll," she expressed as she embraced me in a tight hug. "I knew things would work out for you."
"Thanks, Penny."
"So here's the plan," she said as she set her purse on the kitchen counter. "My band has a gig on Saturday, the 20th. I'd love for you and Harry to come. And I was thinking we could sort of celebrate Christmas together before Zack and I leave for his parents' the next day."
"That sounds like fun," I smiled.
Penny narrowed her eyes and sucked in her lips as though she was afraid to say the next thing.
"I thought we could exchange gifts," she said hesitantly.
"That's fine," I nodded.
"Are you sure? We don't have to, Tisa. I know you're kind of watching your money right now."
"It's fine," I repeated. "No problem."
"Perhaps we should set a limit?" Penny offered. "Say, twenty-five dollars?"
I felt my shoulders relax. "That's a good idea."
"Okay," Penny grinned. "Good."
I cooked dinner that night for Penny and me, and then we watched a little television before heading to bed. Tomorrow was a big day.
And a big day it was indeed. Jacobson popped a quiz on us that I had not been prepared for, but I suppose that's why they call it a pop quiz. I left the classroom feeling like I had a 50/50 chance of passing it. Harry kissed me goodbye, wishing me luck on my first day on the job before heading to his next class. The temperature had dropped tremendously over the last week, so I pulled my hood over my head and walked to the snack bar for some hot cocoa.
English class was almost as bad as History. No pop quiz, but Professor Lloyd had us write a trial paper of sorts about our last book. Unfortunately I wasn't fully caught up on it yet, so I couldn't write as much as I would have liked. But luckily it wasn't for a grade.
Already feeling unnerved about the day's events, I stopped at Penny's to have a quick lunch before heading to work. There was something else that was weighing on my mind, but I pushed it aside so that I may clear my head for my new job.
All of my nerves and anguish washed away when I walked into the small office. The lovely woman with whom I had interviewed named Geraldine greeted me, immediately showing me to my desk. She showed me the basics, which I already knew, but I enjoyed listening to her speak. She then ushered me through the office, introducing me to everyone including two of the lead real estate agents (the third was out of the office), an older woman from the accounting department, and the IT guy. Then we stopped into the break room where she offered me some coffee. I poured myself a cup before returning to the reception desk.
My afternoon went by fairly quickly, and before I knew it, it was time to go home. Everyone waved goodbye to me on their way out, and then Geraldine showed me how to switch the phone to night mode, turn out the lights and lock the doors. I followed her out to the parking lot where she patted me on the back and said she'd see me the next day.
Penny happened to be climbing the stairs to her apartment just as I was. She giggled when she saw me, our coming home together a first.
"How'd it go?" she inquired.
"Great," I nodded. "Very pleasant."
"Good! That's just what you need."
I wasn't in the door ten minutes when my phone rang.
"How was your first day?" asked Harry when I answered.
I chuckled.
"What's so funny?"
"Nothing," I said. "I just got finished telling Penny. I guess it just feels great to have people care about me."
"Well, of course we do," Harry conveyed with a smile in his voice. "So I take it it went well."
"Yes, very well."
Before we hung up, Harry said he was on his way to pick me up so we could go to dinner. I knew I needed to talk to him about the thing that was bothering me. And I couldn't put it off.
"So Penny asked if we could get together on the 20th," I said as I spread wasabi on my sushi. "To see her band play and exchange gifts."
Harry nodded, taking a sip of tea.
"Yeah, Zack mentioned that. I'm off that night so it sounds good to me."
"Okay. Did he mention the price limit?"
"There's a price limit?" Harry raised an eyebrow.
"Well...yeah..." I paused. "Twenty-five dollars. But I think it was more for my benefit because Penny knows I can't spend very much."
"Tisa, you don't have to get me anything," said Harry. "You don't have to get any of us anything."
"But I want to," I muttered.
Harry smiled softly, reaching his hand across the table to cover mine.
"I know. I'm just saying you don't have to. Especially if it puts you in a bind."
I swallowed hard before releasing my hand from his grasp and placing it in my lap.
"Speaking of that..." I hesitated. "I need to ask you something."
Harry sat up and looked at me intently. "Sure."
"Um...well...I hate to ask you for a favor. But my car payment is due the fifteenth. That's Monday. And with me just starting this job -"
"Of course, Tisa," Harry interrupted. "I told you anything you need, I can help you with."
My shoulders dropped. "I promise, it's just until I get my paycheck, and then I can pay you back."
He held up his hands. "No worries. It's totally fine."
"Thanks."
"Tisa," said Harry, crossing his arms in front of him on the table, "there's something I haven't told you. Not because I was keeping it a secret, it just never really came up or I just didn't think it was important."
I furrowed my eyebrows as he leaned forward.
"I have money. I'm not wealthy by any means, but I....have enough to live on for now. When I was born, both my parents and my grandparents set up savings accounts for me. By the time I turned eighteen, both were substantial amounts, particularly my grandparents' because they had started putting in double the amount before they passed away. When they did pass away, I was left a lot of money from them. I got half when I turned eighteen, and I get the other half when I turn twenty-one."
"Wow," I whispered.
"Yeah. I mean, just to give you an idea, my parents' savings account alone pays for my college. All of it, including books."
"Damn," I muttered. "Then...what about your job?"
Harry shrugged. "I work at Mikado's because it's the right thing to do. I'm not going to be living off of my grandparents my whole life. My paycheck pays my rent and some of my other bills. But I do have that savings that I can use if I need it."
I pursed my lips. "And now you're giving some to me."
"Yes," he nodded. "Because you need it. And I'm in the position to help you."
"And take care of me," I said under my breath.
"What?"
I shook my head. "Thank you."
"You're welcome. I love you, Tisa."
I smiled as I grabbed my water glass. "I love you, too."
The rest of the week went well. No more pop quizzes, and I was able to catch up on my reading for Lloyd. My job was going great so far, and I felt like I would continue liking it there.
Harry was off on Friday, and mostly because I was exhausted, we decided to do a little switcheroo. Penny stayed with Zack, and Harry came and stayed with me. I felt a little guilty making him sleep on the pull-out sofa bed with me, but he assured me he didn't mind and honestly, I would have felt weird using Penny's bed. By nine o'clock I was so tired, so we just laid on the bed and watched television until I dozed off. I didn't even know when Harry had turned off the TV or the lamp, and the next thing I knew he was in the kitchen cooking breakfast.
I got up and used the restroom, then I walked into the kitchen behind him, wrapping my arms around him.
"Mmm," I sighed, resting my hands on his bare torso. "Good morning."
"Morning," Harry replied, his voice still raspy from sleep.
"Whatcha making?" I asked, peeking around him.
"Pancakes."
"Yum!" I exclaimed as I watched him flip one in the pan. "I haven't had pancakes in forever."
"Here you go then," said Harry, adding the one he'd just finished to a pile already made on a plate. "Enjoy. Your coffee's ready too."
I grinned at him as I grabbed a fork from the drawer and took the plate to the table. Then I took a mug down from the cupboard and poured myself some coffee. When I sat down, I dropped slaps of butter on each layer of pancakes before nearly drowning them in syrup. Harry then joined me at the table, doing the same to his pancakes.
I closed my eyes as I enjoyed the savory delight.
"Good?" Harry raised an eyebrow.
"Delicious!" I said my mouth full. "Thank you, baby."
Harry leaned over and kissed me on the cheek. "You're welcome."
"How come you're so good to me?" I asked when I swallowed.
Harry chuckled, an confused smirk on his face.
"What do you mean? You're my girlfriend. I love you. I enjoy making you happy."
I bit my lip, suddenly regretting my words.
"I know. I'm sorry. I appreciate it."
Harry sat back and continued eating, though I could tell his body had not relaxed. Finally, after a few minutes he spoke again.
"Please don't ever doubt my love for you," he said.
"Oh, no, baby, I'm not," I shook my head. "I didn't mean it that way, I'm sorry."
"And please don't ever feel like you don't deserve to be treated right," he added. "Because you do."
My face softened into a smile as I nodded. "Okay."
The rest of breakfast was light and pleasant, though I couldn't shake the feeling that I had ruined it. I did not doubt Harry's love for me. He showed it tenfold daily. I supposed his second statement was somewhat true, however. Not that I felt like I didn't deserve to be treated well. But I'd gotten so used to being taken care of, a part of me was curious what it was like not to. It was all so backwards and twisted, and I shook my head, trying to rid my brain of such thoughts.
It was the last week of school before the Christmas holidays. Finals week. And my final week. It felt a bit surreal, and also bittersweet. I was glad that I had been able to complete a semester of college, and despite a rocky start in English and having missed practically a week of school from my illness, it looked as though I would reach my goal of making all A's. But even though I was proud of my efforts, it seemed to me that it was all in vain since I wouldn't be able to continue classes the next semester.
Harry did his best to try to assure me it had still all been worth it, even without reminding me that it was because of school that we'd met in the first place. Of course I was grateful for that, and I couldn't shake the solemn feeling that had I not signed up for fall classes, I'd probably still be living with James in a sexless marriage, with no knowledge of him cheating on me. Still, knowing that I wouldn't be returning to school left me with an emptiness inside.
One fortunate thing about it all, a silver lining I liked to call it, was that I would be able to work full-time at my new job and start earning the money I so desperately needed. Taking steps toward independence was what I wanted most, and a major part of what was going to get me through my divorce.
Thursday morning after our Sociology final and Crawford wishing us all Happy Holidays, I was zipping up my backpack when I heard the faint sound of my name being spoken behind me. I turned around to see Charice standing there, an intimidated look on her face. I quickly gazed around the room, surprised she wasn't with her ever present friend Leslie, but she was nowhere to be seen.
"Hi," I said softly.
Charice sucked in her lips and pulled the straps of her backpack tightly around her shoulders.
"Um..." she stumbled, "I just...wanted to apologize. You know, for the whole Britney thing."
I raised my eyebrows. "Not your fault."
"I know...but...it's just...she was kind of my friend. Actually, not really my friend. More like a friend of a friend." Charice shook her head. "Anyway, I was mean and I see now it was uncalled for. I'm sorry."
I blinked. "Well...okay. Thanks."
Charice gave a nervous smile and nodded toward Harry who was standing behind me.
"Sorry," she muttered again.
With that, she turned for the door. I glanced back at Harry who mimicked my shrug. We walked together out of class, stopping for the last time at our fork in the sidewalk. I swallowed hard, remembering many other times we said goodbye at this very spot. I remembered the time I wanted him to kiss me, the time he skipped his next class so he could drive me to that clearing to have sex in his car, and the day he'd told me in class that he'd professed to Zack that he was falling in love with me and I'd felt so nervous, confused and elated when I'd kissed him on the cheek. One more day of school left - my History and English finals - but this would be the last time I'd make the journey to this spot.
I felt Harry squeeze my hands, obviously recognizing that I was deep in thought.
"You okay?" I heard him ask.
"Yeah," I nodded, looking up at his face. Then I let go of his hands and wrapped my arms around him in a tight hug. "I really love you," I breathed into his chest.
I heard him sigh as he ran a hand through my hair. Then he clipped my chin with his finger to look up at him again.
"I really love you too."
He then kissed me softy before leaving for the Science building. As I turned toward the parking lot, I caught sight of Charice again, her face lit up with a pretty smile. She hesitantly lifted a hand to wave, and just as I waved back, Liz walked up next to her, noticed me as well, and gave her own generous wave.
School was over. The History final was either extremely easy, or I'd just studied so well that it seemed like it was. Professor Jacobson graded them as we turned them in, and I got an A as did Harry. Jacobson grinned at us as we left the classroom, wishing us the best and a Merry Christmas. Professor Lloyd's final was an essay on the last book we'd read, and although she hadn't graded them yet, I felt like I'd done well.
Harry had to work Friday night, and though he'd invited me to come up to Mikado's, I told him I had to pass. Now that I was working too, I was tired much earlier than usual and my body and brain weren't quite used to my new schedule just yet.
Saturday afternoon Penny and I arrived at Zack & Harry's, ready for our Christmas festivities, gifts in hand, except for my present to Harry which of course I was saving for Christmas day. I'd ended up finding him a vintage Rolling Stones shirt on ebay for a good deal that didn't blow my budget. For Zack I got a set of Cards Against Humanity, and I got Penny a pretty makeup palette.
Because Zack and Penny were going to be leaving the next day, I figured it would have been odd for me to stay alone at Penny's apartment, so I brought enough clothes with me to stay with Harry for the week. Although he tried not to show it, I could tell he was beyond happy. I hadn't made a decision yet about moving in with him, so I kind of thought this would be the next best thing - a trial move-in so to speak.
After a nice early dinner, which included nearly two bottles of wine, we gathered in the living room to open presents. Penny insisted everyone open hers first.
"Penny!" I exclaimed as I pulled the velvety material out of the gift bag. It was a beautiful chenille throw in a deep shade of purple. It was so soft, I immediately held it to my cheek.
"Do you like it?" she asked, on the edge of her seat.
"Yes!" I threw it around my shoulders, cuddling close to Harry so he could feel it. He grinned at me and kissed me on my cheek. "Thank you, Penny," I told her.
"You're welcome."
Zack gave me a great coffee mug with my name on it, and some delicious smelling gourmet coffee. I thanked him as well and gave both him and Penny tight hugs and kisses.
"I hate that I have to miss seeing you two exchange gifts," Penny pouted when everyone else had opened their presents.
I eyed her because she knew what I'd gotten Harry. But I also wondered if she knew what he'd gotten me. I had to admit that I was both anxious and nervous to open his gift. I hoped he hadn't gotten me something extravagant, but knowing his financial situation I knew there was a possibility he had.
"I guess you'll just have to see when you get back," I smirked as I stood up from the sofa.
I excused myself to go to the restroom before we headed out to the bar to see Penny's band. I was already feeling the effects of the wine, but I knew we still had a long night ahead of us. Her band still had to set up and Penny had told us we didn't have to come as early, but we all insisted it was fine because we wanted to go together. We would just sit and have drinks before the band played.
"Harry!" I heard Penny exclaim as soon as I opened the bathroom door. "Are you going to ask her to marry you?"
"Shhh!" Harry sounded. "Keep your voice down."
I quickly stepped back and pulled the door, leaving it open just a crack. I could feel my pulse racing and my heart beating so loudly I was sure they could hear it in the other room.
"Is that what you want, man?" Zack inquired.
I didn't hear Harry's voice reply, but instead Penny piped up again. "More importantly, are you sure that's what Tisa wants?"
"What do you mean?" asked Harry.
"I mean, she's been through a lot. Her divorce isn't even final yet. Maybe she just wants to get her own life together before merging with someone else's."
I felt myself nodding in agreement at Penny's words. I loved Harry so much. But I wasn't ready to get married again. I hadn't even given him an answer to our moving in together yet, and he was planning on proposing? The idea made me very uneasy.
"I know I want her," I heard Harry declare. "I want to be with her. I want to take care of her."
"Maybe she doesn't need someone to take care of her," Penny commented.
If I hadn't been trying to hide behind the bathroom door, I would have run out and hugged Penny. She knew exactly how I felt. Instead, I stood frozen in the bathroom, waiting to hear Harry's next words.
"You don't think I should?" he asked meekly.
"I don't know, man," said Zack. "Maybe wait til her divorce is final?"
"But that's a month away," Harry argued.
"Listen, baby doll," Penny began. I caught a glimpse of her walking across the room through the crack of the door. "Tisa loves you. I know that, as sure as the sun does shine. But try to put yourself in her shoes. She's been in a dead-end marriage for a long time. This is the first time she's been on her own, gotten to be her own person."
"I know," agreed Harry. "I understand that."
"Do you really?" Silence filled the room until Penny continued with a sigh. "Look, I can't tell you what to do. And I can't tell you what Tisa will say. She might say yes. Just...keep in mind that this isn't easy for her."
"I don't want anything to be difficult for her, Penny," said Harry. "I want her to have everything she deserves."
Deciding I'd heard enough, I cleared my throat and stepped out of the bathroom. Penny gave me a nervous look before breaking into a soft smile.
"Ready?"
"Yep," I nodded, grabbing my jacket.
I followed everyone outside and got into Harry's car. Other than the sound of the radio, we drove silently for a while. After a couple of songs, Harry looked over at me and grabbed my hand. I wondered if he knew that I'd overheard their conversation, but concluded that he most likely didn't and was only contemplating his own worry in his head. He lifted my hand and kissed my fingers, giving me a grin. I returned his smile and sat back in the seat. It would do no good to worry about this tonight when we were going out to have a good time with friends.
Penny had been right about everything. But the comment she was the most correct about was that I loved Harry. Did not wanting to marry him mean I didn't love him as much as he loved me?

How to Design Your Dream Kitchen: Practical Tips for a Perfect "Kuchnia Marzeń"
If you're planning to create your dream kitchen, or "kuchnia marzeń" as it's known in Polish, you're embarking on an exciting journey. A well-designed kitchen not only enhances the functionality of your home but also adds significant value to it. Here are some practical tips to help you turn your kitchen into the perfect space.
1. Define Your Kitchen Goals
Before diving into the design process, it’s crucial to define what you want from your kitchen. Ask yourself a few questions: Do you love cooking and need ample counter space? Are you an entertainer who needs a kitchen island with seating? Or perhaps you want a cozy nook for family gatherings? Clarifying these goals will guide your design decisions and ensure that your kuchnia marzeń meets all your needs.
2. Optimize Your Layout
The layout of your kitchen is fundamental to its functionality. Consider the classic kitchen work triangle concept, which emphasizes the efficient placement of the sink, stove, and refrigerator. This ensures a smooth workflow, minimizing unnecessary movement. For more personalized advice, you can check out expert insights on kitchen layouts at Wzorcownia R64.
When designing your kuchnia marzeń, think about how you use the space. For smaller kitchens, open shelving can make the space feel larger and more accessible. For larger kitchens, a well-planned island can serve as both a prep area and a social hub.
3. Choose High-Quality Materials
Selecting the right materials can significantly impact both the aesthetics and durability of your kitchen. Opt for high-quality countertops, such as granite or quartz, which are not only beautiful but also resistant to scratches and stains. Cabinets should be made from durable materials like solid wood or high-grade MDF.
If you're unsure about which materials to choose, Wzorcownia R64 offers a range of resources and examples that can help you make informed decisions. Remember, investing in quality materials now can save you money in the long run by reducing the need for repairs and replacements.
4. Incorporate Stylish and Functional Lighting
Lighting plays a crucial role in any kitchen design. It’s important to combine ambient, task, and accent lighting to create a well-lit and welcoming environment. Recessed lighting can provide general illumination, while under-cabinet lights are perfect for task-oriented areas like countertops. Pendant lights over an island or dining area can add a touch of style and sophistication to your kuchnia marzeń.
For more tips on kitchen lighting and design, visit Wzorcownia R64, where you can find valuable information on creating the perfect lighting scheme for your space.
5. Add Personal Touches
Your kitchen should reflect your personal style. Add unique touches like custom cabinetry, colorful backsplashes, or a statement range hood to make your kuchnia marzeń truly one-of-a-kind. Accessories like decorative jars, artwork, or a stylish rug can also enhance the space and make it feel more inviting.

The Ultimate Guide to Choosing Range Hoods for Your Kitchen in 2024
A range hood is an essential component in any kitchen, responsible for ventilating and removing smoke, odors, and grease from the air while cooking. Beyond its functional role, a range hood can also be a stylish focal point, complementing your kitchen's design. With a variety of styles, sizes, and features available, selecting the right range hood can greatly enhance your cooking environment. This guide will help you navigate the key considerations when choosing the best range hood for your kitchen in 2024.
1. Types of Range Hoods
Understanding the different types of range hoods is crucial to finding the best fit for your kitchen layout and ventilation needs:
Under-Cabinet Range Hoods: Installed beneath kitchen cabinets, these hoods are compact and ideal for saving space. They connect to ductwork through the wall or ceiling.
Wall-Mount Range Hoods: Mounted on the wall above the stovetop, these hoods are a popular choice for kitchens without overhead cabinets. They can make a bold design statement.
Island Range Hoods: Designed for use above kitchen islands, these hoods are ceiling-mounted and often feature a more decorative design, as they are visible from all sides.
Downdraft Range Hoods: Installed behind the cooktop, these hoods rise up from the countertop and pull air downward. They are a good option for open or minimalist kitchen designs.
Insert Range Hoods: These are designed to be concealed within custom cabinetry or a hood shell, offering a seamless, integrated look.
2. Ventilation Options: Ducted vs. Ductless
Range hoods can be either ducted or ductless, and the choice depends on your kitchen layout and ventilation requirements:
Ducted Range Hoods: These vent air outside your home, providing the most effective removal of smoke, odors, and heat. They require ductwork installation, which can be a consideration in terms of cost and feasibility.
Ductless Range Hoods: Also known as recirculating hoods, these use filters to clean the air before recirculating it back into the kitchen. They are easier to install and more versatile in terms of placement but may be less effective at removing moisture and odors compared to ducted systems.
3. Key Features to Consider
When selecting a range hood, consider features that enhance performance and convenience:
CFM Rating: The power of a range hood is measured in cubic feet per minute (CFM). The higher the CFM, the more air the hood can move. For gas stoves, a higher CFM rating is recommended to handle the heat and combustion gases.
Noise Level: Range hoods can be noisy, especially at higher settings. Look for models with a lower sones rating for quieter operation.
Filters: Metal filters are durable and can be washed, while charcoal filters (used in ductless hoods) need regular replacement to maintain efficiency.
Lighting: Integrated lighting helps illuminate your cooking area. LED lights are energy-efficient and provide bright, even illumination.
Controls: Choose from push-button, touch controls, or remote controls. Some models offer smart connectivity for remote operation and monitoring.
4. Size and Installation Considerations
The size of the range hood should match the size of your cooktop or range for optimal performance. As a general rule, the hood should be at least as wide as the cooking surface. Installation height is also important; the hood should be installed at the manufacturer-recommended height above the cooktop for effective ventilation.
5. Aesthetic and Design Choices
Range hoods come in various styles and finishes to match your kitchen decor:
Stainless Steel: A popular choice for its sleek and modern look, stainless steel is durable and easy to clean.
Glass and Metal Combinations: These hoods offer a contemporary look, often seen in island or wall-mounted designs.
Custom Wood Panels: For a more traditional or rustic look, some hoods can be integrated into wood cabinetry or finished with custom wood panels.
6. Top Brands to Consider in 2024
Several brands are renowned for producing high-quality range hoods:
Broan: Known for a wide range of models, from basic to advanced, with features like powerful blowers and quiet operation.
Zephyr: Offers stylish designs and innovative technology, including smart connectivity and energy-efficient lighting.
Viking: Known for professional-grade appliances, Viking range hoods provide powerful ventilation and durable construction.
Faber: Offers a variety of designs and features, including silent kit technology for quieter operation.
7. Budgeting and Value
Range hoods come in a wide range of prices, from budget-friendly models to high-end designs. Determine your budget and prioritize features that are most important to you, such as CFM rating, noise level, and design. Remember that investing in a quality range hood can improve air quality in your kitchen and enhance your cooking experience.
Conclusion
Choosing the best range hood for your kitchen in 2024 involves considering your ventilation needs, kitchen layout, and personal style. By understanding the different types, ventilation options, key features, and design choices, you can find a range hood that not only complements your kitchen's aesthetics but also provides effective and efficient ventilation. Whether you're looking for a powerful professional-grade model or a sleek, stylish design, the right range hood can significantly enhance your kitchen environment.

In this guide, we will explore the best outdoor kitchen designs that seamlessly incorporate ceramic grills, transforming your backyard into a culinary oasis.
1. The Classic Stone Kitchen
One of the most timeless and elegant designs is the classic stone kitchen. Utilising natural stone for countertops, islands, and even flooring, this design not only looks stunning but is also durable and weather-resistant. Integrating a Kamado Joe grill into this setup elevates the overall functionality. The ceramic grill, with its robust build and versatile cooking capabilities, fits perfectly within the stone structure, providing both aesthetic appeal and practical benefits. Adding built-in storage and a sink can complete this traditional yet sophisticated kitchen.
2. Modern minimalist design
For those who prefer a sleek, contemporary look, a modern minimalist design is an excellent choice. This design focuses on clean lines, neutral colours, and uncluttered spaces. Stainless steel is a common material used for countertops, cabinets, and appliances, giving the kitchen a polished and modern appearance. A Kamado Joe grill complements this design perfectly, as its bold, ceramic construction adds a touch of elegance without overwhelming the minimalist aesthetic. To enhance functionality, consider integrating a small refrigerator and modular seating that can be easily moved around.
3. Rustic Charm
Embrace the cosy and inviting atmosphere of a rustic outdoor kitchen. This design features natural materials like wood and stone, creating a warm and earthy ambiance. The ceramic kamado grill, with its classic look and exceptional cooking performance, fits seamlessly into a rustic setting. A wooden pergola overhead can provide shade and support for climbing plants, adding to the charm. Include a large, wooden dining table and comfortable seating to complete the look, making it a perfect space for family gatherings and outdoor dining.
4. Coastal Vibes
If you live near the coast or simply love the beach, a coastal-theme could be the ideal choice. This design often features light colours, open spaces, and marine-inspired decor. A Kamado Joe grill can be the centrepiece of this setup, offering versatility for grilling fresh seafood and other coastal delicacies. Use materials like whitewashed wood, blue accents, and nautical-themed accessories to enhance the coastal vibe. Adding a bar area with high stools and a few tropical plants can create a relaxing, beachy atmosphere.
5. Outdoor Entertainer’s Paradise
For those who love to entertain, a Kamado Joe outdoor kitchen designed for hosting large gatherings is essential. This design should include ample countertop space, multiple cooking areas, and plenty of seating. A ceramic kamado grill is perfect for this setup, as its ability to maintain consistent temperatures and cook a variety of dishes makes it ideal for feeding a crowd. Incorporate a pizza oven, a large dining table, and a built-in bar to make your kitchen the ultimate entertaining space. Consider adding outdoor lighting and a sound system to keep the party going long after the sun sets.
